What If the Poles Melted Completely? 🌊

I keep coming back to this one because the number alone breaks your brain. 70 metres. That is how much sea levels rise if every drop of polar ice melts. Not a flood. The ocean deciding it lives somewhere else now, and the somewhere else is where you grew up. Every coastal city disappears beneath the surface. The buildings are still there, still standing. Fish swimming through the streets. Your city exists below the water. Just not for you anymore. A third of the world's farmland gone. Two billion people with no country to go back to. The water settles and it stays there. Permanently. 🌊
