01:44They live down in West Palm Beach.

01:48But he's 6'3".

01:50And he just turned 18.
01:51We're pastors of a wonderful church.

01:55It's a great community.
01:56And we run a nonprofit.
01:57And for 29 years, we have flipped homes.

02:02But it does require a lot of energy and emotions.
02:05So one thing that we've come to realize, we need a place to break away.

02:30They have a lot of concerts on the sand, like lots of music.

02:36I think later this month, they've got the salsa band playing from Puerto Rico.

03:02The budget for this project right now is $400,000, and that definitely has to include renovations.

03:12in to that price point.
03:14If we find something that may need some help, then the prices are more affordable.

17:42So after a lot of thought and prayer, we really made a good decision.
17:45And we chose the Virginia House.
17:51Virginia House was amazing.
17:53It's an iconic building.
17:54When I walked in, it was, like, so open.
17:57Immediately, I felt like there was plenty of space.
17:59It is only a one-bedroom.
18:01So we're definitely going to have to transform that into a two-bedroom, two-bath.
18:05We're trying to major renovation here.
18:07Of course, the good news is the price point.
18:10So the house was listed at $279,000.
18:12We gave an offer of $280,000.
18:13They accepted it.
18:14So that left us $120,000 for our renovation.
18:18That should be more than enough to create an amazing space for ourselves and our family.

29:58until we're able to get this fixed.

32:29We would be able to figure it out,
32:31and none of us considered
32:32that it was never a 90-degree angle.
32:35We've also determined that it's just not going to work.

32:41we can go ahead and hang every other cabinet
32:44except for the two,
32:45the top and lower lazy Susan,
32:47and custom build the lazy Susan.

32:52He's a perfectionist,
32:53so he actually had a custom build one.
32:56It was challenging,
32:58but it's not a lazy Susan.
32:59We just decided to put shelves instead.

33:02And the angle works perfect.

34:56were able to get on it right away.

35:04that we have on the project.

35:08the white, shiny, larger tile,
35:10it is going to bring that bathroom to life.
35:12The bathroom is really small,
35:14so the last thing we need to do
35:15is put dark colors in there.
35:21The flooring guys already got started,
35:23and it's actually the tile we have in the shower.
35:26We had looked at different flooring,
35:27but some of the stuff was kind of busy,
35:29different colors.
35:30We have a lot of other colors
35:32already in the room as accents,
35:34so we decided just to go pure white.
35:47We're coming to the homestretch,
35:49and we're really excited.
35:50The projects are moving right along.

36:44It has been such an amazing process.
36:46A lot of challenges,

41:47on this project.
41:48One of the ways
41:49that we were able
41:49to save many is,
41:50one, we don't buy

41:52so we're always
41:53looking for a deal.
41:54But the real reason
41:55is because we had friends
41:56come alongside us
41:57to help us do this project.
