00:06All right, play ball. Here we go.
00:1517, we got it. That's a big win. That's probably a $40,000, $35,000, $40,000. Now,
00:22you're up $50,000. Why not stop now, and then you're $50,000 up?
00:27Not yet. Gamblers never stop.
00:35I was in America's fastest-growing city, taking a look at the pastime that made it
00:41famous. Las Vegas, where the neon-lit mega casinos are dedicated to taking your money while keeping
00:49a smile on your face. I was here to find out how they do it, and so I'd be immersing
00:56myself
00:56among the high rollers at one of the city's top casinos, the Las Vegas Hilton. It had
01:02been home to Elvis in the 70s. For this weekend only, it would be home to me.
01:13So what's going on? We're going to pick up one of my guys at the private terminal right
01:19now. He's coming in on his jet. He just called me. 15 minutes, he's landing, so we've got to
01:24get there. I was with Richard Wilk, the man in charge of bringing the biggest gamblers into
01:30the casino and making sure they keep gambling. We were on our way to meet one of his high
01:36rollers.
01:38Now, what can you tell me about this guy who's coming in?
01:40This guy that's coming in is one of my closest friends from Toronto, Canada. We used to say
01:51he's the mattress king because he has the largest manufacturing plant for mattresses in all of
01:58Canada. This guy, he's a friend of yours? Yes. He's a friend of mine. He's a high roller,
02:04one of the biggest high rollers, and he's also godfather to my little girl too. So I mean,
02:12it's a whole thing.
02:14So anything to know before he comes out? I don't want to kind of, you know, say anything
02:22unto you.
02:22Listen, he's going to bust your chops. He's going to bust my chops. He's going to ride us the
02:26whole way. He's going to joke around with us all the time. That's just him. And just take
02:31it. But remember who he is too, so respect him at the same time as you take him. Yeah.
02:37And what is his, what's his credit line? It's a lot of money. I'm under confidentiality,
02:44so I don't talk about my guy's credit lines and how much, but it's a lot of money.
02:49Wait, you got, you can't wait to get off the, on the phone? What's up, buddy?
02:52You're doing all right? Yeah, you all right? Yeah, you're going to know. Say hi to Louie.
02:58How do you say all right, Louie? Nice to meet you.
02:59Louie's from the BBC in the UK.
03:01What's up? Nice to see you.
03:03What's going on, buddy? Nice to see you.
03:05You ready for a good time? You sure you want to do this?
03:06Let's do it. Sure you want to do it?
03:08Let's do it. Let's do it. Let's do it. Let's do it.
03:10You sure? Yeah.
03:15As a top gambler, Alan qualified to stay in the hotel's best suite free of charge.
03:20This is home for three days.
03:25What do you think so far?
03:27Rich!
03:29Surprise!
03:30Yeah, Rich, what's happening?
03:31Surprise!
03:32Let's go to our hut.
03:33All right, babe. We need a water, buddy.
03:35Here. This is yours.
03:38Rich, say hi to Louie.
03:40How do you do? Nice to meet you.
03:40This is Rich, our butler. He's the best in Las Vegas.
03:43You're the butler for this?
03:44You could not get better than him in Las Vegas.
03:46Really?
03:47Yes.
03:48What do you think, guys? It's okay?
03:49Seems quite nice.
03:51It's about 15,000 square feet.
03:5315,000 square feet.
03:54Yeah.
03:56This house is smaller than that.
03:58Most.
03:58My house is smaller than that.
04:00And this is all part of the deal?
04:03This is...
04:04This is it.
04:04This is provided...
04:05This is the largest suite in North America.
04:09Wow.
04:09Okay, that I know of.
04:11And Alan gets it for as long as he's here and everything's comped in here.
04:16It's all comped. Complimentary.
04:18What do you think?
04:20What do I think about what?
04:21Why didn't they give you the big one?
04:23The big what?
04:24Big room.
04:24They don't have any big room.
04:27The only problem with this entire room is...
04:30In the morning time.
04:31Why?
04:32Because it's a long walk.
04:33It's a long walk to the kitchen.
04:36You know, when you...
04:37It's so nice, you sort of think, well, why would you even leave here and bother gambling?
04:42Well...
04:42You could just hang out here.
04:43You're not going to live in the room, are you?
04:46You know, because there's a lot of big name casinos in Vegas.
04:51What is it that brings you to the Hilton specifically?
04:54This is the nicest suite in Vegas.
04:58Because you could go anywhere.
04:59Everyone would love your business.
05:00I could pretty well go anywhere.
05:01Yeah.
05:01I tend to go where Rich goes.
05:04Why?
05:04Rich and I are close.
05:07We're good friends.
05:08He'll look after me, not only as a friend, but as a client.
05:12What is it that he does that is special?
05:13Rich...
05:14Rich arranges everything for me.
05:16Anything on the casino floor, private gaming tables.
05:20Yeah.
05:21And are you...
05:21Are you friends or are you business associates?
05:25We're friends first.
05:27Business later.
05:30I don't...
05:30I don't...
05:31I can't...
05:32I think we've had one argument in ten years.
05:36And it was, you know, something that he had to take his friendship hat off.
05:41And put his businessman hat on.
05:43Is he rooting for you to win?
05:45A hundred percent.
05:47Because he works for the casino.
05:48I...
05:48He works for the casino, but I don't think he likes to see anybody get hurt.
05:53He likes...
05:54To see people gamble what they can afford.
05:58Vegas.
05:59They didn't build these places on winners, you know.
06:04Um...
06:05A hundred percent.
06:06I...
06:06As I said, I...
06:08I think in a lifetime,
06:10everybody's a loser.
06:12But the thrill of being able to win today,
06:16lose next month,
06:17win the year after...
06:20I think it's the challenge.
06:22I think it's the thrill.
06:22I think it's the entertainment in the city.
06:44You winning?
06:45Oh, no.
06:46Not at all.
06:48Negative twenty for the trip.
06:50Twenty dollars?
06:51No.
06:52Twenty thousand.
06:53Whoa.
06:55You winning?
06:56Yeah.
06:57Yeah.
07:02Are you?
07:03Yes.
07:04Down on the casino floor, the weekend crowds were already trying their luck.
07:13I thought I'd drink in the atmosphere and learn a little about how it all works.
07:21What do you do here, Jimmy?
07:23I'm the ship manager.
07:24I run the casino at night.
07:26So everything you see, I'm in charge of.
07:29All the people, all the players.
07:31I try to make sure everybody's having fun.
07:33This is what I've...
07:34So far, this is the cash that I've won.
07:37So you've up since you got here by...
07:40Probably about four thousand, five thousand.
07:42Really?
07:42Look at Jimmy.
07:43He's winning and winning.
07:45You want people to win.
07:46That way they'll come back.
07:47And...
07:48If they never win, they would never come back.
07:49And they come back and then what happens?
07:51But see, well, we want them to win a little bit.
07:53And then we take all their money.
08:00You must be Tommy.
08:01Yes, I am.
08:02I'm Louis.
08:03How do you do?
08:03Hi, Louis. How you doing?
08:04Pleasure to meet you.
08:05You too.
08:06You going to show me the slots?
08:08Sure.
08:09Tommy Brown looks after high-limit slots players.
08:13He offered to introduce me to another gambler the casino makes a big fuss over,
08:17a retired doctor named Martha Ogman.
08:21Dr Ogman is probably our number one guest that comes to this hotel.
08:25Beautiful woman.
08:26How do you do?
08:27My name's Louis.
08:28Nice to meet you.
08:28Louis, what do you do?
08:29I guess I'm a journalist, a TV journalist.
08:32I interview people.
08:33I make documentaries.
08:34Oh, that's very nice.
08:36Tommy, is Martha a good client for you?
08:38She plays the slots here.
08:39You look after her.
08:40Martha is probably our number one guest that comes to this hotel.
08:43Yeah.
08:44This is my second home.
08:45Do you live in Vegas?
08:46Yes.
08:47And how often do you come here?
08:49Every day.
08:50Every day?
08:51For ten years.
08:53Now, that could get expensive, couldn't it?
08:56It gets expensive and sometimes I make money.
08:58And would Martha qualify for complimentary items?
09:02Yes.
09:03About anything that she asked her.
09:05John, what do I do?
09:06Just hit it?
09:07All the deuces.
09:08That's all.
09:09Martha, you know his name's not John, it's Tommy.
09:11Tommy, I know.
09:12Tom.
09:13Tom, what do I do?
09:15Hold the queen.
09:16And that's it?
09:17Yeah.
09:18That's it, honey.
09:19You shut up?
09:19That's all you do.
09:20To give you an example of what we do as customer service and what we do, Martha's husband passed
09:25away.
09:26When did Sam pass?
09:27April 21st.
09:28Passed away in April.
09:30We had a memorial service here in our hotel.
09:33Unbelievable.
09:35That's because she's so valued to us.
09:37We value her.
09:38We won't do that for everybody, but such a fine player.
09:41It was the most beautiful thing you ever saw in your life.
09:45It was so elaborate.
09:47It was so beautiful.
09:49Didn't cost me one penny.
09:51There must be something.
09:52The casino's running a business, obviously, so there must be something in it for them.
09:57I imagine you're losing enough that they feel it's worthwhile.
10:00That's exactly it.
10:01To offer those items.
10:02So in a sense, it's not totally disinterested hospitality.
10:06Remember I said it's based on their play.
10:09Yes.
10:09We will give them a percentage of complimentary items.
10:15Let's put it that way.
10:16Complimentary items based on their play.
10:18They treat me so nicely that I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.
10:23Thank you very much, Martha.
10:25I really appreciate it.
10:27Have you ever sort of thought like, well, that person is spending too much.
10:31You know, I want to look after their interests because I'm worried that they might be spending too much.
10:36That is part of our job as well.
10:37Yeah.
10:38Or an elderly player who maybe you're thinking, well, perhaps they're not, you know, totally compost mantis at this point.
10:44And, you know, how would you, you know, you might ascertain that you felt they weren't making an informed choice
10:49to do what they were doing.
10:50That's up to them.
10:51I can't tell them what to choose to do.
10:53And I don't know everybody's finances.
10:55So I can't really go in.
10:57But the guests that I've known for quite a while, you know, and I see that, let's say that they
11:02normally come in and they bring $2,000 or $3,000 with them.
11:05And then all of a sudden they're losing $10,000 or $15,000 or $20,000.
11:11That's the flag to me.
11:12And I have to, I will a lot of times go up and ask them, are you sure that you
11:16can do this?
11:16I don't want to bury you.
11:17I don't want you losing your house.
11:19I don't want you doing that.
11:19I want you to come out here and have a good time.
11:21This is a place of enjoyment.
11:23You know, it's for them to have fun, have a good time.
11:25Don't come out and lose your house.
11:27It does happen, but we try to avoid that as well.
11:35You want to spin it?
11:36No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
11:40No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
11:40What if it loses? I want to see you do it.
11:42Go, go, go.
11:44Ready?
11:45Yeah.
11:47Come on, baby.
11:48Big one.
11:49That's all right.
11:50It's all right.
11:51It's not very big.
11:52No, I'm sorry.
11:56the guests were still rolling up and i was about ready to call it a night when i met john
12:01romanelli
12:02and tim nordahl a pair of salesmen they were in vegas for a three-day blitz they seemed to be
12:09betting closer to my level and i wondered if they'd be good mentors for my gambling the next day
12:15how's it going uh well i'm up i've been here for a couple of hours i hit the tables uh
12:21not
12:22too long ago i'm up about 10 g's yeah 10 000 10 000. is it all in your pocket oh
12:30god
12:33i love this casino wow how much did you what have you been playing blackjack is my game blackjack
12:41yeah blackjack is my game really but the odds are stacked against the player they're the odds are
12:49in favor of the house no uh no not really um my whole philosophy on uh blackjack is probably your
12:57best chances of winning versus the machines uh but if you're on a good streak you want to bet heavy
13:04are you quite a serious gambler as well i wouldn't say serious i just go out there and have fun
13:08and
13:08that's usually how you win this gentleman here is down 160 000 for a reason i try to play
13:14i try to play as consistent that's why he's laughing i try to play as consistent as possible
13:20are you really 160 000 in the hole he's how much i'm not in the hole at all i just
13:27watched him play
13:28what are you really i i really i i played a little bit maybe up a thousand right now but
13:33i haven't even
13:34started no i'm just i haven't even really unpacked my bags i'm talking about for the year oh this year
13:39i've been winning what about last year what's the in a bad year in a bad year if i lost
13:44maybe
13:4550 60 000 then then i would feel it but it's hard because sometimes you lose like 10 grand but
13:52then
13:52you win 10 or 15 the next time so will you do any gambling tonight absolutely really oh yeah
14:00isn't that why people go to isn't that why people come to vegas just bring what you can afford
14:05i brought 15 000 with me if i win i win if i lose i lose i still have the
14:13house
14:25that's called tables awake tables awake cashier awaits and then a table's awake
14:32that's all right the next morning and alan the high roller was ready to roll
14:43with a weekend of gambling ahead of him alan had decided to limber up with a few turns at the
14:48roulette
14:48wheel for me it would be a chance to observe a big player close up and maybe pick up a
14:54few tips for
14:54my own gambling later in the day oh you're going to see a lot of chips go down
15:0614 17 20. down the middle just out of it yeah see that yeah
15:16that was about four thousand dollars that was four that exactly exactly
15:19the time well i'd see it landed in my 20 and then it bounced over we don't like those
15:27each chip was worth a hundred dollars and with between 40 and 60 on the table he was risking around
15:34five thousand dollars a spin it's all about gambling isn't it is there any technique to where you're
15:40putting them are you basing that on a hunch or you're just picking what you feel
15:48he's just got to cooperate it's not cooperating
15:57that's bad yeah it is bad
16:01oh it's just warm up
16:04at least we're having a good time well you know we don't like to lose money either
16:10we're here to enjoy ourselves yeah but they they should tease you a little have you been doing
16:16this for a while have you been into gambling yeah i've been gambling since uh i was 16. really
16:25how did your family feel about the gambling are they oh my wife is against gambling issues
16:31because she knows what you're doing oh she knows
16:34she doesn't like it really why not well it's not a good habit
16:41it's not a good habit to be in but she you know likes my spices spouses they don't
16:47know what your financial status really is which is you know one of those things come on
16:57you're in there for something yeah so what does she say she says don't do it
17:01she doesn't approve of it she she won't say don't do it but she won't come to a casino
17:08which i can understand but i'm not going to change why is it a bad habit well
17:15i enjoy it so there's i guess in the back of her mind there's a risk factor that one day
17:22things don't work out and you lose a lot of money
17:30which is a possibility right now this is more money than some people make in a year
17:36it's a lot of money
17:41and you know what they say if you can't afford it don't do it
17:47it's 17 we got it how about that now you're into some serious money now you're up 50 grand
17:55why not stop now and then you're 50 000 up could i fly six hours to play for 20 minutes
18:06if you stop now would they kick you out of your suite no no they'd never do that because they
18:12know
18:12i'm a gambler and you take as many cards as you like on each one unless you were splitting aces
18:20then
18:20you only get one card that afternoon i'd been hoping to make my own first foray onto the tables
18:25under the guidance of the two salesmen john and tim but they'd gone gambling on the strip
18:32it was late in the evening when they finally showed
18:35how are you doing buddy you went awol yeah i did what happened i don't know i i've been up
18:43since uh
18:44i don't even know well let's do a time check it's now 24 hours since i last saw you yeah
18:50you've been
18:53gambling ever since winning no i'm down 14 15 000 plus the 10 the 10 000 that i won
19:02so you're down both 10 000 plus the 14 plus the 14 000 so you're down about 25 000 20
19:1124 000 sucks have you been having a wonderful time
19:20why did you do that they got the best of me it's hard to get off the tables once you're
19:25on there what
19:25about your technique my technique went out the door they suckered me in
19:33we don't have to do this no i want to are you sure absolutely why
19:39because i'm gonna i'm gonna hopefully teach you how to lose
19:48what about you what is your is your game plan to win it all back or maybe you should cut
19:55your losses
19:58i'm not a quitter i'm not a quitter no i'll get it back i know it sounds sick and demented
20:04but i will
20:05get i will get it back i just need one good streak one good streak i could i could get
20:11it done
20:12my budget for the night was 500 of my own money feels a bit sick i don't like it
20:21i don't like it you're gonna like it you're gonna like it and we're gonna win
20:27we'd be playing blackjack also known as pontoon also known as 21. i was going to ride my 500 as
20:35long as i could i had a feeling it might be an early night there you go good luck to
20:40you thank you look
20:41he's trying to act like he's uh never gambled before this guy is just as sick as we are
20:48come on beg there we go that's a big hand that's a great how much did i make on that
20:54you made 60 bucks yeah i made 60 dollars yes i should stop now no stop what are you talking
21:01about
21:02you want to up your bet now you want to push it a little more okay if you're on the
21:06winning streak
21:06you can't keep betting the same way i know but then i might lose it all well that's the chance
21:10that's called gambling with all due respect
21:18gambling is good huh
21:23would you double down on that i wouldn't against a deuce i started out with little bets
21:29and seemed to be holding my own but john's winning streak was still a no-show
21:37this is just unbelievable unreal i haven't won a hand in a half an hour
21:48oh 21
21:52it's tiring man it's so frustrating big big big
22:08big big big that how can that be possible i'll be right there where are you going right here why
22:16because i've been losing
22:19there we go don't touch the money until he's done paying you you'll get very upset about sorry
22:25well that's yours two hours in i was 300 down but tim had been taking advantage of the free drinks
22:31that the casino lays on for all gamblers and he was feeling confident
22:38whoa why so much that's that's how i do it 400 big just hope big yes
22:49yeah that's how you do it man you gotta understand that's how you do it look at this
22:54it's a lot of money right now you want it don't touch anything i'm not touching you're gonna
22:58they'll throw you out of the casino i didn't touch him come on come on come on yeah
23:07lewis talk to me how are you ahead for the night now i don't count my money you're only ahead
23:14if you
23:15leave the table and you're winning you know what should i do maybe i should stop now i think i
23:20might
23:20have broken even no you don't stop when you're winning man what is wrong with you damn

25:17Yeah, but you're up 75 bucks after 19 hours.
25:21Well, nine hours.
25:23My love won't wait.
25:27How long do we play for?
25:29Do we just keep playing until we lose?
25:32No, hell no.
25:33You play until you win.
25:34Help me.
25:35We were winning.
25:41Johnny, how'd you do over at the other table?
25:45What does it look like?
25:47John, play the odds, go after it.
25:49One time, go after it, have some balls.
25:53You know, look at him, he's scared.
25:55Arabic guy's scared.
26:00With John still doggedly chasing his losses, I thought I'd round off the night with one last big bet.
26:07He does.
26:08Oh, Lewis!
26:09This is your, this is it, Lewis.
26:11This is the moment.
26:12This is, this is the turning point right here.
26:15Big!
26:16You took her seven, you took her seven.
26:18Yes!
26:19Yes!
26:20Lewis, you took her seven.
26:21Nice.
26:22Good job, Lewis.
26:22That's awesome.
26:23Go to the cage, Lewis.
26:25I'm gonna go to the cage.
26:30I'd been gambling into the wee hours, and then back into the big hours, and I was $200 up on
26:36my original $500.
26:39$700?
26:40You want everything in big bills?
26:41Sure, why not?
26:42Okay.
26:43Just one, two, three, four, five, six, and $700.
26:48You're welcome.
26:48Have a nice day, sir.
26:49You too.
26:50How did you make out?
26:51I didn't make out.
26:52I lost.
26:53I lost about $4,000.
26:55In that session?
26:56Well, yeah, in the last four or five hours.
26:59So.
27:00But you know what?
27:03It happens.
27:04And you gotta be prepared for that.
27:06But next time, maybe I'll win $4,000.
27:08So.
27:08But you gotta know your limits, so.
27:10You go out there, you have fun, and you lose a little.
27:13But only lose what you can afford to lose.
27:15You don't get crazy like John over there.
27:19See him?
27:19He's still, like, look at him.
27:24That's what you don't want to do.
27:27That's an exact picture.
27:29He's a good guy, but he just doesn't know when to leave.
27:33He doesn't know when to leave.
27:36Louie, he won't go.
27:40How are you making out?
27:43Absolutely horrible.
27:44Are you?
27:45Yes, yes.
27:46Very bad.
27:49Pig.
27:51Oh, Jesus.
27:54You gotta know when to hold him.
27:57Know when to fold him.
27:59Know when to walk away and know when to run.
28:04Johnny, Johnny, let's go get a taco or something.
28:07Come on.
28:07I'm not leaving.
28:09I'm not leaving.
28:11I'm not leaving.
28:13I tried yesterday to get him to go.
28:16I slept for nine hours.
28:19Anyway.
28:19Big.
28:20Louie?
28:21He's gonna be here all night, so that means you guys will be here all night.
28:25So I'm gonna get out of here.
28:26I'm gonna go to bed.
28:27Are you?
28:27Yeah, I gotta do some work tomorrow.
28:29He'll be here for like another 20 hours.
28:31I'm gonna turn in as well.
28:33Yeah.
28:34I mean, I'm tired of you.
28:34This guy will go.
28:35You're gonna stay up all night?
28:36You'll come tomorrow.
28:37He'll still be here.
28:38It's 5 past 5 in the morning now.
28:41Do you know that?
28:45Uh, no.
28:46I didn't normally.
28:49So I'm gonna turn in.
28:50You're gonna stay up?
28:51I'm just gonna stay up.
28:52How long?
28:54I don't know.
28:55I don't know.
29:01We'll bring you a McMuffin.
29:03A McMuffin.
29:04Hey, what's the room number again?
29:064,100.
29:111, 2, 1, 2, 3.
29:29I used to contemplate and wonder just how good love could be.
29:38And we were doing great for a while, being just you and me.
29:47The next day, and there was no sign of John.
29:50I hoped he'd gone home, preferably to a house he still owned.
29:55At the cashier's desk, I ran into Dr. Martha Ogman,
29:58the big-time slots player, just starting her daily shift.
30:02Will you get 500 out for me as well, Martha?
30:04Sure.
30:05You want 500?
30:07What are you gonna do with it?
30:08Get...
30:09Gamble it.
30:09I don't believe you.
30:11You don't have the nerve.
30:14It wouldn't take any nerve to gamble with your money.
30:17Yes, it would.
30:19It would.
30:20Why?
30:21It doesn't make a difference.
30:23Because once I give it to you, it's yours.
30:30Let's go.
30:31Follow me.
30:35These are no good.
30:37These two are possible.
30:39I'll play this one then.
30:41Okay.
30:42Now, is there any...
30:43Is there any skill involved?
30:45Any what?
30:46Skill.
30:47No.
30:48You just have to gamble.
30:51That's all.
30:53That's how you bet.
30:55You always bet how much you want.
30:57Something happened.
30:58You got $20.
31:00Cash it out.
31:01Should I cash out now?
31:02Sure.
31:03Why?
31:03You made $20.
31:05You're not a gambler.
31:08Hit it once more.
31:13Cash out.
31:14You're not gonna make any more.
31:15Why?
31:16You'll get $34 back.
31:17Yeah.
31:18I'm not gonna make any more.
31:19Maybe you will.
31:21You want to take a chance?
31:22I'll take it.
31:27It's not giving me anything.
31:29I told you to cash out.
31:33It shows that you can become a gambler,
31:37because you never quit when you're supposed to quit.
31:40It's so aggravating, isn't it?
31:43No, it's not.
31:46Do you ever worry that you might be addicted?
31:49I can always quit.
31:51I never get addicted to anything in my life.
31:55How do you know you could quit?
31:57Because I can just say I'm not coming in anymore,
32:00and that's the end of it.
32:01Have you thought of doing that?
32:02No, I enjoy it too much.
32:06Why would I do that?
32:08And you could afford the habit?
32:11I lost $4 million in the casino in seven years.
32:18$4 million.
32:20$4 million?
32:21That seems like a lot.
32:23That's a lot of money.
32:24Yes.
32:26But I enjoyed every moment a lot.
32:31Aren't you gonna run out of money?
32:37No.
32:38Why would I run out of money?
32:40Hi!
32:41She's guilty.
32:42Take a picture.
32:43How are you doing?
32:45Hi, how are you?
32:45Louie from the BBC.
32:47Hi.
32:48Martha's one of your best customers, from what I understand.
32:50She is.
32:51She's not only one of our best customers,
32:53she's one of the nicest ladies I've ever known.
32:55Really?
32:56Yes.
32:57Martha just said that in seven years,
32:59she's gambled and lost $4 million.
33:01He knows.
33:03Yeah.
33:03I'm not lying.
33:06Oh, yeah.
33:08Martha's one of our biggest players.
33:12$4 million?
33:13$4 million.
33:17Because we have it on the computers.
33:19If you ever thought Martha was gambling too much,
33:22what would you have a word with her?
33:24I feel that I'm friendly enough with Martha
33:26that I could tell her, you know, cool it for a while.
33:29I really do.
33:30And I think, and she would listen.
33:32Have you ever, what would lead you to say that?
33:39Um, gosh.
33:42If she would go over and above what she normally would play.
33:46I mean, I feel close enough to Martha that,
33:49and I've known her, I've been in here almost two years.
33:52And I feel, I've gotten very close with her.
33:55And I consider her a really good friend.
33:58And I just feel, if I really thought that she was going way overboard,
34:02I would say, you know, cool it.
34:11Look at his face.
34:16Are you a multi-multi-millionaire?
34:19No.
34:20Hey, I hit it!
34:23That's $100.
34:26See?
34:36Are you winning?
34:37No.
34:38Losing?
34:39Losing, of course.
34:40Seriously?
34:41That's the way the hotel expects it to be.
34:43Are you winning?
34:44No.
34:45No.
34:46Are you winning?
34:47We are from Italy.
34:50Later that morning, I went to find Alan the High Roller.
34:53He was now into his second day gambling,
34:55and from what I'd heard, losing heavily.
34:58I wondered whether it was affecting his mood.
35:01How are you doing?
35:01Morning, buddy.
35:02What's happening?
35:03It's good.
35:04It's good.
35:04How's it been going?
35:05You been lucky?
35:06Not bad.
35:06Up and down.
35:07I wondered you were on the slots and you went down by 70,000 or 80,000.
35:10That was a bad day of slots.
35:12Was that bad?
35:13Yeah.
35:13It was counting.
35:14You're counting?
35:15That's what I heard.
35:16I'm just telling you what I heard.
35:17Oh, you heard that.
35:18That's what I heard.
35:18Yeah, that was bad.
35:19That was bad.
35:19And what happened?
35:20Since then?
35:22Input, output.
35:23A lot of input, no output.
35:26And now?
35:27The odds weren't there.
35:28And now?
35:29Well, we're just starting off.
35:30We're just going to have a little fun here.
35:33We got action going on here, buddy.
35:35Why?
35:35What do you mean?
35:36Action going on here.
35:37A lot of money going on this table.
35:39Big!
35:40Yeah!
35:41Whoa!
35:43What happened?
35:44We made about 20,000 bucks.
35:45These are $1,000 chips.
35:47Yes, sir.
35:48Oh, yeah.
35:48These yellow ones.
35:49Yeah, sir.
35:50And these purple ones are $500, but these are $1,000.
35:52So that's...
35:53Not a lot of money.
35:54$15,000?
35:55No!
35:56$30,000, $40,000, $50,000.
35:58It was about $60,000, $70,000.
36:00All right.
36:01Ready now?
36:02All in.
36:03Let's go.
36:04Let's play ball, buddy.
36:05A big one.
36:05Or a big one!
36:07Oh, yeah.
36:08That was bad.
36:09That was bad.
36:09That was a bad one.
36:10That gave him back, uh...
36:14What do you got there?
36:14$10,000?
36:15$8,000.
36:15$8,000?
36:18I love to love you, baby.
36:21How are you, superstar?
36:26Okay.
36:26Say hi to Alex.
36:27He's our director of credit.
36:29How are you, sir?
36:29Director of credit.
36:30He's the one that got you all your credit.
36:32More credit.
36:32More credit.
36:33Better not need more.
36:34One more day.
36:35Say hi to Louis.
36:35How'd you do?
36:36From the BBC.
36:38How'd you do?
36:39What are you doing?
36:40What am I doing?
36:41Right now.
36:41What am I doing?
36:42I'm just waiting for Rich to give me back an answer.
36:46About?
36:46He's gonna give me a little, uh, credit card to go shopping.
36:50Freebies?
36:51Freebies.
36:51Comps.
36:52Comps?
36:52On the house.
36:53How much?
36:54Uh, probably $4,000 or $5,000.
36:58Where are you gonna meet?
36:59High limit.
37:00But I gotta go, like, in 10, 15 minutes.
37:03High limit, uh...
37:04Yeah.
37:05Okay, I'll meet you over there.
37:06Yeah.
37:06Somebody, uh, can you just make sure somebody's there?
37:09Hey, uh, can I do, uh, uh, Neiman Marcus for $4,000 for Allen?
37:14You have a problem with that?
37:16Yeah.
37:21We kinda do it for him whenever he comes in, yeah.
37:25We always...
37:26It's always usually I want $160, do you?
37:29No, no, I said usually every trip it's around that.
37:32So you'll get up there.
37:33What is it now?
37:36You wanna do three?
37:37How about three?
37:38That's compromise.
37:39I'll do three.
37:41Wow, so you've gotta negotiate.
37:43Don't they calculate based on how much play he's doing?
37:46Yeah, and a loyal customer like that, at his level, that is very consistent in everything
37:52he does when he comes to the property.
37:55You know, somebody like him, you see how much he plays.
37:58He's on the tables, slot machines, almost three quarters of his trip.
38:05And when he is, it basically averages out to the same every trip, so he's very easy to predict what
38:13to give him.
38:14So...
38:153,000.
38:18If you thought he was...
38:20If you ever thought he was gambling too much, what would you do?
38:23If he's losing, losing, losing, like yesterday on the saw machine, he was losing, losing, losing, losing,
38:27and he put a lot of money in the machine.
38:29We were there for hours.
38:31I'll say, you know, a lot of guys won't, they'll let him stay there.
38:34But I'll say, let's go to dinner.
38:36Listen, it doesn't change anything.
38:39But it just makes him feel a little better and gets his mind off of things.
38:41He's still gonna come back and play for a few more hours.
38:44It's never gonna change.
38:45It's not gonna change anything about it.
38:47It just makes the customer feel like he can breathe.
38:50That's all.
38:50But you would tap him on the shoulder and pull him out?
38:52No, I would never pull him out.
38:54Why not?
38:55You know, that's not my job to do that.
38:56I'm not here to pull you out.
38:58I'm here to invite you in and entertain you.
39:01And I'll watch your back.
39:02At the same time, you're gambling.
39:04I don't want to interfere with your gambling business.
39:06It's not my business.
39:07It's none of my business that way.
39:09As a friend, it could be.
39:11As a friend, you get worried.
39:12But you know what?
39:13These guys don't do anything you want them to do anyways.
39:17They don't listen to you.
39:18You can stress your opinion.
39:20You can suggest something.
39:22But they don't care.
39:23They don't listen to you.
39:24Come on.
39:25They got so much more money than I do.
39:27Who am I to tell them what to do with their money?
39:30No.
39:30You never tell somebody like that what to do with their money.
39:33Never.
39:35Hey, what's your dad?
39:37What's your dad?
39:38How many have you got?
39:383,000.
39:39You only got 3,000.
39:40Sorry, buddy.
39:413,000?
39:41Yeah.
39:42No disrespect, but you wanted it right now.
39:45I got it for you.
39:45That's all I got.
39:46When's the other five coming?
39:48Don't bust my chops.
39:49When's the other five coming?
39:49No, that's it.
39:50What?
39:50That's it for the whole trip?
39:51That's it.
39:52All right, I stopped gambling.
39:53All right.
39:54Hold on, hold on.
39:55Is that a jackpot over there?
39:56Let me do that.
39:56Hold on, hold on.
39:57Let me see for a sec.
39:58Okay, now I'm checking out.
40:00One of Alan's machines was costing him $90 a spin.
40:04Another one, $300.
40:07Vacuum cleaners.
40:08These are vacuum cleaners at the Hilton.
40:11Why don't you have a seat?
40:13Can I?
40:13Well, it's better than looking over.
40:15Oh!
40:17That could have been a lot better, buddy.
40:18Welcome to my channel.
40:22What is the appeal of slots?
40:23Because there's no skill involved, is there?
40:25Zero skill.
40:26It's luck and timing.
40:28What is the, so what is the appeal?
40:30The win.
40:31The thrill.
40:31What is the appeal?
40:33If it's just random, you're just pushing a button.
40:35It's like working in a factory.
40:36You're not really, you're just hoping that you're the one.
40:41It's to come to Vegas and have the opportunity of winning.
40:47Do you want me to put more money in?
40:49It's quitting time.
40:51I have a meeting.
40:53So I'm going to love you and leave you.
40:55Got to spin it one more time.
40:57Because you would have won there.
41:01But why you didn't win this is because you changed.
41:03You were getting rid of your credits.
41:11Didn't, um, didn't you just say it was quitting time?
41:15Yeah, we just got to spin one or two more times.
41:18Just to make sure that the machine is finished with me.
41:25You never know.
41:27That's a gambler's problem.
41:29When to quit.
41:36We all want to make it rich.
41:39Do you think you might have a problem?
41:41Gambling?
41:42No.
41:44It's just a sport.
41:46It's like people golf.
41:51You golf?
41:53You love golf?
41:55No.
42:005,000.
42:07Yeah, you look at that.
42:09Amazed or it's no good.
42:12So you just won $5,000?
42:14Yeah.
42:163,500 after tax.
42:20You stop now?
42:21Yeah.
42:22We're cutting out of here.
42:24Run up with you later?
42:25Yeah.
42:25Catch up later.
42:39It's now or never.
42:43Come hold me tight.
42:47Kiss me, my darling.
42:51Be mine tonight.
42:55It had been 36 hours since I'd seen daylight and so I ventured out onto the strip.
43:00I was making a house call on the Hilton's most dependable gambler, Dr. Martha Ogman.
43:05I'd been thinking about the prodigious amounts she'd lost and was curious about her life outside the casino.
43:12How are you?
43:13I found her at home in a gated community behind the Hilton.
43:17So this is your wonderful things?
43:19This is my...
43:20It's a mess.
43:21A total mess.
43:23This is the living room.
43:24This is the living room?
43:25You see all the boxes?
43:27Now so you...
43:28Are you still moving in here, Martha?
43:30Is that what's going on?
43:31Yes.
43:32I'm still moving in.
43:34And who's the handsome gentleman?
43:36That's my son.
43:37Lurking.
43:37My delicious child.
43:39How do you do?
43:40Hello.
43:40Louis.
43:42Seth, nice to meet you.
43:42Seth, nice to meet you.
43:44Do you play the slots too, Seth?
43:46At times.
43:47At times.
43:47He's not a gambler.
43:49No.
43:49Not big.
43:50If I want to get rid of him, I give him $20 and he'll get lost for about an hour.
43:55To people in Britain, you know, some of the sums that Martha gambles are quite amazing.
44:02She mentioned the figure of about $4 million in seven years.
44:08And I wondered what your take on that was.
44:11Nothing.
44:11What do you think about that, Seth?
44:13Nothing.
44:14I think it's crazy.
44:16Yeah.
44:16I mean, I'll play some of the quarter machines and nickel machines, but I'll also go to the
44:22sports book and I'll place a few bets.
44:24Yeah.
44:25And, uh, but I don't go crazy.
44:27I have a set limit and I stick to it.
44:29It could be argued that you are gambling Seth's inheritance.
44:33You're right.
44:35And whatever's left, he can have.
44:37And what do you think about that, Seth?
44:39That's all right with me.
44:40Is it all right with you, seriously?
44:41Yeah.
44:41Why?
44:42She wants to gamble.
44:44It makes her happy.
44:44That's all right with me.
44:46See that?
44:46Mm.
44:47He's a good kid.
44:48Mm.
44:48Have you had a conversation with your mother where you said, enough?
44:52You know, it's getting excessive.
44:54No one tells me what to do.
44:56Have you, Seth?
44:57My husband never told me what to do and neither does my son.
45:00I do what I think is right.
45:02Have you tried to?
45:03I've tried.
45:04Doesn't work.
45:05But, uh, she wants to gamble and makes her happy, so that's all right with me.
45:08And you have tried, though?
45:09Yeah.
45:10How many times?
45:11Oh, a few.
45:13Many times.
45:13And what have you said?
45:14I've said, you know, just take a break.
45:17You know, come back tomorrow or let's take a couple of days off.
45:21And every once in a while, she will.
45:23I'll take two days off and go back.
45:28Now, can you see the Hilton from here?
45:32The Hilton's up here.
45:33You can see it.
45:35You mean the building itself?
45:37Yeah.
45:38Did you know that?
45:39Yes, that's the Hilton.
45:42And, um, and if, when the time comes, uh, you know, Seth, you come into your inheritance
45:48and there's nothing left?
45:53He's got money.
45:54Well, hopefully she'll win the megabucks.
45:55It's like an 11 and a half million.
45:57Seriously, though?
45:59Well, listen, if that's what happens, that's what happens.
46:01Come on.
46:02He has money, Seth.
46:03Oh, be real.
46:04He does.
46:05No, but to, I mean, to come into your inheritance and there's nothing left?
46:09If there's nothing left, there's nothing left.
46:11Seth?
46:12Nothing you can do about it.
46:14What can you do?
46:15She likes to gamble.
46:17If there's nothing left, there's nothing left.
46:19How come you're so philosophical?
46:21I don't think this is the real, I think there's more going on.
46:23It's too hot here to be.
46:26I always say, when you're gambling in a casino, just take the money and run.
46:30Because I've seen people that have 1,200 credits in a machine, whether it's a quarter
46:35or a dollar machine, and they're still playing.
46:37I say, just take the money and run.
46:39Because they're going to get you in the end.
46:41You know, that's how they build these new towers.
46:46Well, there's no telling her.
46:49That's the problem.
46:54With Martha, her gambling seemed less about winning or losing than about filling the days.
46:59I was reassured she seemed to know what she was doing, and all the more baffled why she was doing
47:04it.
47:07I headed back to the Hilton.
47:09I'd heard that Alan the high roller had been racking up yet more heavy losses.
47:13And now he was leading.
47:18What's happening, buddy?
47:19Are you doing?
47:20We're doing okay.
47:21I've been hearing rumors about you.
47:23Well, are they good or bad?
47:25250 in the hole.
47:28Listen, I'd be happy with that, I think.
47:30Really?
47:30Why?
47:30What happened?
47:31It was a little nasty in there.
47:32What happened?
47:35Cards change.
47:36300,000?
47:37Oh, I don't know.
47:38300,000?
47:40Pesos?
47:42Dollars?
47:43You never know.
47:45You're never going to know.
47:47How much are you down?
47:49We're down a little bit.
47:51Yeah.
47:51How much?
47:54You're not going to get it, Louis.
47:55Why?
47:56You're not going to get it, Louis.
47:58It's not good for me.
48:01How did he make out, Richard?
48:03How did who make out?
48:04Alan?
48:04Alan.
48:05You've got to ask him.
48:07To me, what happened?
48:09It seems like he lost a lot of money.
48:10I mean, I can't tell.
48:11I don't know Alan, but is he okay with that?
48:13It's fine.
48:14You see the way he's joking around with you?
48:16Yeah, I know.
48:17Whether he loses money or he wins money, his attitude doesn't change, and he'll tell you that.
48:22He's going to go home, and it's not going to affect anything.
48:25It's not going to affect his livelihood or the way he lives or anything like that.
48:29So when that happens, he's fine.
48:33It's a guy that comes in and loses and wants to go home and sell stuff to pay us back.
48:41It doesn't happen with him.
48:42He's fine, and none of my guys are like that.
48:45He's going home with a heavy loss.
48:46What would you have liked to see?
48:48This isn't the ideal outcome for you, or is it?
48:50What would be the best outcome for you?
48:53Well, just the fact that he comes in is the best outcome for me.
48:56Whether he wins or loses doesn't go into my pocket.
48:59I'm just here as a marketing guy to bring him in the building and keep him at the tables as
49:03long as I can.
49:05Keep him at the tables as long as you can up to a point, not so that he hurts himself
49:09or affects your long-term relationship.
49:11I keep him at the tables for as long as I can, and that's whether he wins or loses.
49:16Really?
49:17It doesn't matter.
49:18My job is to bring certain players in and keep them at the tables, and keep them gambling in the
49:24property.
49:24That's all.
49:25With him and with a few others of my friends, they're friends of mine.
49:30They're more friends than they are players.
49:32It just happens I work here, and that's where they come to visit.
49:36Look at that smile.
49:38It's a million-dollar smile.
49:39You can never lose.
49:40It's slightly less than a million now.
49:43Listen, you know what makes a good person, a good gambler?
49:49Somebody that, whether win or lose, they're still going to smile.
49:55It's good.
49:56You seem like you're in good spirits, so I'm pleased.
50:00You had a good weekend.
50:02You take your good days, your bad days, and there's no sense getting sick.
50:10Oh.
50:11All right, Louis.
50:12I'll see you soon, right?
50:14Yeah.
50:15Louis.
50:15Thanks, Alan.
50:17Keep up the faith.
50:19Get in there.
50:20Go.
50:20Yep.
50:20Go.
50:29Go.
50:35Go.
50:38Go.
50:41Go.
50:43Go.
50:44Go.
50:45Go.
50:46Go.
50:47Go.
50:48It was my last night, and in true Vegas style, I'd arranged to have a blowout.
50:53I had $3,000 burning a hole in my pocket.
50:57Would I win?
50:58I had a feeling probably not.
51:02But I was ready to join the ranks of the heroic losers who challenge the odds and keep smiling
51:07even when they come up empty.
51:11My guide for the night would be another of Richard's high rollers, an IT consultant called
51:16Dan Rogers, better known in Vegas as Dan the Man.
51:21Dan the Man.
51:22Louis.
51:23How are you doing?
51:24Fine.
51:24How are you?
51:25Yeah, good.
51:25How are you doing?
51:26Doing really good.
51:27Good, good, good.
51:28So you ready?
51:29Yes, I am.
51:30I mean, have you got the Spondulix?
51:33I have the Spondulix.
51:34Do you?
51:35I can't spell it, but I have it.
51:36What do you think about this?
51:38What is this?
51:39Uh-oh.
51:43What does that say to you?
51:44This says you're ready to go.
51:46What does that say?
51:47This says I'm ready to match you.
51:49I'll show you mine if you show me yours.
51:53What have you got there?
51:55Oh, just a couple thousand.
51:56No, this is five.
51:57You got five?
51:58I've got five.
51:59I've got three.
51:59You got three.
52:00I got three and I'll raise you ten.
52:03Oh, yeah?
52:04Let's go to the safe.
52:05No, this is funny.
52:06This is my blowout.
52:07Should we have a sharpener before we go out?
52:10Sure.
52:11You know, just to loosen the wrist of it.
52:12Absolutely.
52:13What should we do?
52:14You tell me.
52:14Orange juice.
52:15Orange juice with a little vodka.
52:17What do you think?
52:18You want to order something?
52:18Let's order something out.
52:19Didn't they put anything in your room?
52:23So excited about playing?
52:25A little nervous.
52:25How do you feel?
52:26A little nervous.
52:27Yeah.
52:27This is my money.
52:28This isn't production money.
52:30Really?
52:30This is out of, like, ATM money?
52:32This is my own money.
52:33I went to the bank and got it.
52:34Okay.
52:34Well, then that'll give you a good way to feel the happiness or the sadness.
52:42I will have a McAllen 18 on the rocks and...
52:45A Bloody Mary.
52:46Bloody Mary.
52:48Just one.
52:49I don't even know if I approve of gambling, Dan.
52:52You don't know if you approve of gambling?
52:53Well...
52:54Everything we do in life is a gamble, my friend.
52:56Meaning?
52:57This is entertainment.
52:58This isn't gambling.
53:00Las Vegas is all about entertainment.
53:01Hello.
53:02Hello, sir.
53:03How are you?
53:03How you doing?
53:04Good, good.
53:07We do have to do this.
53:08Yes, we do.
53:09Don't we?
53:09Yes.
53:10Whether we want to or not.
53:11We have to do it.
53:12This is the blowout.
53:14We have to do it.
53:16Cheers.
53:17Cheers.
53:18Yes.
53:19Vegas.
53:20To Vegas.
53:25You want to go down?
53:27You've got to go in with a winning attitude.
53:30How do you do that?
53:32You get...
53:33You think.
53:34It's possible.
53:36Should we do it?
53:36Yes, let's do it.
53:42I sort of almost have resigned to losing.
53:45Don't ever resign yourself to losing.
53:48We'd be playing Baccarat, a game of pure chance favoured by the high rollers who fly in from
53:53Asia, and also at one time by James Bond.
53:57I didn't know the rules, so I'd be leaving the decisions to Dan the man.
54:01Hey.
54:02Thanks.
54:03How you doing, buddy?
54:04Good to see you.
54:06How you doing?
54:07Good to see you.
54:08Good.
54:08He showed me the cash.
54:11Wow, is that an envelope you have?
54:13Yeah, he got an envelope.
54:16Look at this.
54:16Yes, this is real.
54:18That's pretty impressive.
54:20So you want to give that to the dealer?
54:22I hope you can take that.
54:24I may have to comp you some rooms or something.
54:26I'm getting $12,000, so I look bigger than you.
54:28$12,000?
54:29Yes.
54:31What I like to do with my first hand is I always like to start on the bank.
54:34Start on the bank?
54:35Start on the bank.
54:35Start on the bank.
54:36What are you doing?
54:37$600?
54:37I'm putting $600 on the bank.
54:39I'll start $300.
54:40Okay.
54:43On the bank.
54:46Six.
54:46At least a six, right?
54:48At least a six.
54:48Right.
54:49So we got a six.
54:50How about that?
54:51How about that?
54:52How do you feel we're winning?
54:53Yes.
54:54Richard, how do you feel that we're winning now?
54:56Listen, you win, I see you more.
54:58I see you coming.
54:59Remember that.
55:00I see you more if you win.
55:01Now pick that up.
55:02And we lose eventually.
55:04No, we don't lose eventually.
55:05No, we don't.
55:05No, we don't.
55:07The night started with a win.
55:09Oh, baby!
55:11That's what I'm talking about, Dorita!
55:13Oh, yeah!
55:14And then another.
55:15Monkey!
55:16And then another.
55:17We are monkey!
55:18It was as though because I'd resigned myself to failure,
55:21on this night, Lady Luck had decided to tantalise me by making me win.
55:26Monkey!
55:27The big hand wins!
55:28Oh, but an egg beats it all!
55:31Did we win?
55:32We won.
55:32A natural egg.
55:34One?
55:34One don't beat eight!
55:39Did we win?
55:40Yes.
55:41On other nights, I too would be a loser, but not tonight.
55:46You bamber with that nine!
55:48You sure who Louie is!
55:50And I found myself slipping into the role of a high roller with surprising ease.
55:56I'm only up by 1,500.
55:58Only?
55:59Only?
55:59After an hour and a half, you won 1,500.
56:01Where do you make 1,500 in an hour and a half?
56:04What happened to my Bloody Mary?
56:05It's coming.
56:06This is yours.
56:07Where are you going?
56:07Where am I going?
56:11It's all too much horror.
56:13Where are you going?
56:15Like a lost puppy.
56:16You want to follow me to blackjack?
56:17Where are you going?
56:17No, we're going to go to the cage and get our money.
56:19One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten.
56:22It's 4,000.
56:23Two, two, three, four, five.
56:25Why don't you gamble?
56:26Because I'm smart.
56:27I live in this town.
56:28You could go broke gambling in this town.
56:30Well, look at this.
56:31It's a beer.
56:31Listen, I'm so happy I made you happy.
56:34Oh my God.
56:34That's the whole point, right?
56:35This is all yours?
56:36Look, we're going to give you a brand new Hilton envelope to put it into.
56:38And you don't even do this.
56:40Nope.
56:41What for?
56:42I enjoy making you happy.
56:44How about that?
56:45Look at that smile.
56:46Look at that.
56:47Beautiful.
56:49Beautiful.
56:49Where's the catch?
56:50There is no catch.
56:52Welcome to Vegas.
56:53How much is in here?
56:5445.90.
56:58Did you have fun in the gut?
57:00Did you have fun down here?
57:01Did you forget about everything?
57:02The show.
57:03Your interview.
57:04And for one brief second, win.
57:09I think you did.
57:10I think you felt it.
57:11I know you did.
57:12It was good.
57:12And you're scared by it.
57:14What was weird was I was resigned to losing it.
57:16I told you not to.
57:17But then I won it.
57:21My high rolling was done.
57:22And for a moment, I had felt it.
57:26It might be illogical and self-defeating.
57:29But when you're winning, gambling makes perfect sense.
57:33The casinos practice a kind of seduction on us.
57:35But mostly we are their willing victims.
57:38For this victim though, it was the end of the line.
57:42For now.
57:50Hi, Martha.
57:52Oh, hi.
57:54How are you?
57:54I won $1,500 last night.
57:56Oh, isn't that nice?
57:58You won that much?
58:00Yeah.
58:02I'm not playing anymore.
58:04You quit?
58:07Why?
58:09I want to take my money and run.
58:11I want to go home a winner.
58:12Yeah.
58:13You're going to sit down and you're going to play again.
58:16And I know you won.
58:19And I'm telling you, you won.
58:26Ah!
58:27Hit it!
58:27Take this!
58:28Take this!
58:29This is a win!
58:31Did you snap it?
58:34That's a win!
58:35You're good.
58:35Well done.
58:35You're good and TOYS.
58:35I know you.
58:35I'll see you soon.
