00:00Opus Three Artists goes back a hundred years and we are tied to the premier and most important
00:06classical concert agency probably in the world and certainly in North America.
00:13I think what we look for most is a combination of virtuosity and a singular artistic voice.
00:19We need to focus on developing new kinds of art but still maintaining this tradition of
00:26excellence and virtuosity that we have in our 100-year history.
00:31From the invention of the radio, we've all been talking to each other, eating each other's
00:36food, we've been studying each other's languages, and now even just in America, we're retrenching
00:44back into tribes.
00:45You have Western classical music and hip hop.
00:49Many people see them as the polar opposites of cultural expression.
00:52What Hip Hop Orchestra Experience I think is doing is really creating new music.
00:58It's creating something that audiences haven't experienced before that they can feel equally
01:04welcome in and discover each other and create a new audience.
01:07This is a revolution.

19:56It takes the virtuosity of these two very different styles of music and doesn't blend
20:03them together necessarily but allows them each to stand on their own and I can't think
20:08of any other type of music that does this and with quite the dexterity that a hip-hop
20:14orchestra experience does. From a hip-hop standpoint people who are generally coming
20:21here maybe as with a hip-hop background it kind of blows their mind. It can be triggering
20:27for some people because it may feel like hey those who don't look like me are doing
20:31my music but I think that that's unfair. I think that art is beautiful and all people
20:39should be able to do all things artistically. So for some folks hip-hop is a part of their
20:45personhood growing up. I listen to this kind of music, I dress this kind of way and now
20:51this is a different version of that that doesn't represent the way I grew up listening to it.
20:55that can be the challenge and that can be the trigger for a lot of people.
21:43I woke but today I'm blessed, I worry less I'm stress free. The hate don't bother me. Positivity is the
21:50only thing that I see. I'm blind to the negative. On the news you see murders and shooters and
21:55it's repetitive. I lost my cousin and my granny. It was consecutive. I'm all about my business. You can call
22:00me an executive. I'm very wise. You can see it in my eyes. Many people losing faith but I'm not
22:07surprised. You have to be like the sun and rise. When you find happiness or the negative dies.
22:19I've been through a lot but I ain't make no excuses. I got the bruises to prove it. Your own
22:24mind you can't lose it especially. Up in the storm. Look, let's come together and fall. Look, I've been through
22:32a lot but I ain't make no excuses. I got the bruises to prove it. Your own mind you can't
22:36lose it especially. Yeah. Up in the storm. Yeah. Let's come together and fall.
22:42Mind over matter. Sit back and watch them scatter. I'm reaching for the stars. I climbed up the ladder. My
22:49mind's so clear like the water in my bladder. They want to copy my style. They really like my swagger.
22:55Life is a journey. Don't stress about what's after. I believe in you. Even through the tears in the laughter.
23:00Let's be impestimistic.
23:01Well, I'm optimistic. It ain't Christmas. It's fun. But I'm still gifted. I rose up by the concrete. I'm thankful
23:08that I lifted. The pandemic took a toll on the world. It ain't shifted. I've been through a lot but
23:13I ain't make no excuses. I got the bruises to prove it. Your own mind you can't lose it especially.
23:19Up in the storm. Let's come together and fall. I've been through a lot but I ain't make no excuses.
23:27I got the bruises to prove it. Your own mind you can't lose it especially.
23:31Up in the storm. Let's come together and fall.

26:02When we don't know what we're listening to, either stylistically or through language, it makes us uncomfortable.
26:11Music is often seen as entertainment, and we don't expect to be uncomfortable when we're being entertained.
26:17Because it's neither this nor that, I think it takes people off guard, and because of that, there's more openness
26:28to the music.
26:29And I think that it goes straight to the heart.
26:33Oh, classical music, and oh, hip-hop, you know, like, oh, oh.
26:38And the way that it's blended, it completely destroys those kind of divisions that are completely artificial.
26:47And for me, that is really one of the main things that this ensemble does, that makes people together and
26:57breaks all those artificial things that divide us.
27:18Take a little time for yourself.
27:21Have an open mind and be kind to your health.
27:24Embrace what's been dealt.
27:26Though camouflage was felt, eventually the misery won't be worth mentioning.
27:30Precision with your energy reinforces the mission we set out envisioning.
27:35Babies are born glistening.
27:36As I go older, I struggle to keep it shimmery.
27:39When I fall off my game, I just hustle from muscle memory.
27:43Infinite agility, I have an affinity.
27:45The fire burning within me gently needs rekindling now and then.
27:49Despite all the suffering, the world got us stuck up in.
27:52I keep a piece of me in tranquility to fight the anxiety given by this society.
27:58Through violence and rioting, I'm protected, I'm unaffected.
28:16When you know what focusing is, moving the boulder is bliss.
28:20The global warming can get hotter and hotter.
28:22But still, I have adapted a skill to keep my attitude chill and let my attitude build.
28:27Till it enhances the magic that helps us censor the tragic moments.
28:31Giving my life a bonus whenever it increases our coldness.
28:34The tragedy decreases our onus.
28:35The light I can't hear the voices, but quiet enough to focus.
28:38I'm hearing the sounds of oceans.
28:40And like trees we sway in the breeze all day.
28:43But the darkness offers a different energy.
28:46I can see and breathe within the tranquility.
28:48I have the serenity.
28:50Giving me our inner peace that I carry in my sleep.
28:53Giving me tremendous dreams.
28:55Then I'm waking up in the morning.
28:57Phone is blowing up until I'm yawning.
28:58Squirrel until I know all of the issues.
29:00Who is doing what?
29:01With all the misses.
29:01Check the Cali score.
29:02How many rights left?
29:03No one really cares.
29:04Not the right left or the in-between.
29:05Clever and righteous.
29:06Normally the screen is playing violence.
29:07Reality has now become a nightmare.
29:09Changes will do the war standing right there.
29:10I don't pay attention to the tension.
29:11Because I'm in a place where I'm a sin.
29:22Why is there equipment built to destroy all the living?
29:25And war is the ambition of parts of Holland's living.
29:28Reality has now become a nightmare that we can give it.
29:31Why do everybody be sinless?
29:33I'm not getting it.
29:35It's getting a little ridiculous.
29:36The systematic oppression is engineered so meticulously.
29:40But I'm still able to breathe and leave it behind me.
29:42Because I'm not afraid of the day when I am dying.
30:24It's getting a little ridiculous.
30:26How many hours are you in a process of life?
30:28I will have to breathe behind me.
30:29And I will learn everything.
30:29I will learn everything.
47:09Yeah.
47:36Yeah.
