00:00Diplomats accredited in Azerbaijan visited post-conflict areas as peace with Armenia
00:05is becoming a reality. The two countries already have trade deals and are making high-level visits,
00:12which both sides describe as historic after decades of conflict. Karabakh, once an area of
00:18conflict, is becoming a reconstruction site, symbolizing the end of the feud. The process
00:24is also receiving support from the broader international community.
00:28Because we're so interested in seeing the progress in the renovations and we fully support as the
00:35Netherlands, as part of the EU, the reconciliation process between both countries, Armenia and Azerbaijan.
00:42Wherever we can, connectivity, investments, if we see opportunities, we're also from the embassy,
00:49we're looking into opportunities to help and support. We are welcoming reconciliation and we
00:54welcoming peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan. That process is very important for
01:00Caspian Black Sea region and a good example for the future and a good example how could two countries
01:08solve very long-term conflict with respect to international law.
01:14Yeah, this is my first chance to visit this part of Azerbaijan and it's really important for me to see
01:19the work that's been done. President Trump played last August in the Washington summit was critical.
01:24We've made a lot of progress since then. When Vice President Vance was here, he signed the strategic
01:29partnership with President Aliyev in February and every day we've been taking concrete actions since then
01:35to implement the peace and our bilateral partnership. Recent diplomatic engagement shows that
01:40Armenia and Azerbaijan appear to be continuing efforts to move the normalization process forward. As these
01:47discussions continue, reconstruction efforts in Karabakh are also advancing, with infrastructure projects
01:53shaping a new phase of development in the region.
