00:05oh my god across the United States this is full dude buried in out-of-control hordes
00:16holy hey Matt there are treasures you can't even begin to imagine oh my god I'm Matt Paxton and my
00:26team and I are cleaning out properties rain and poop looking for big scores holy one-of-a-kind we
00:33found gold for our clients and ourselves and if my instincts are right I think this is legit
00:41everyone wins 82,000 so all I could say is wow give me my hundred and ten thousand dollars I
00:49can't believe this is the same house 320 thousand dollars all right here we are guys in Bolivar
01:05Ohio we're like an hour from NFL Hall of Fame it's a cool country town yeah so this is one
01:13of the white
01:13whales I have been talking to this family for about five years trying to get in and they're
01:18finally ready to consider it okay I hear that there's collections everywhere potential clients
01:25name is Jamie this is her own house but he's got some medical scares so she needs every penny that
01:30she can get to fund his health care this man invented the ATM machine and the self checkout
01:36machine whoa so this dude's like a mad scientist inventor he's like Doc Brown we might find a flux
01:43capacitor in this place I smell it it smells really bad I'm afraid to walk on things because
01:51I might break something I just want to give up hi I'm Jamie Strayer my uncle Tom is more than
01:58an
01:58uncle he's a best friend and a mentor he is one of the most prolific corporate inventors in the history
02:03of the United States he has the patents on the ATM machine the gas pump checkout the self checkout at
02:10the grocery store it's the home of a mad scientist everything I'm hearing is getting me excited yeah
02:17the treasures in this house are a symphony of generational collections my uncle collected pinball
02:23machines jukeboxes slot machines pinball machines that a few years ago were selling for you know a thousand
02:31two thousand dollars are now five to six maybe even up to ten thousand due to the resurgence of
02:37nostalgia gaming and new generations wanting to collect them my concern is they haven't been picked
02:41apart for parts right the legend is there's Rolex watches under these mound of boxes I can see how he
02:50could lose a box of Rolexes in this house three years ago he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's so the
02:58ultimate plan is to sell the house this money will be a gift to our family to help pay for
03:05the care that
03:05he needs and the better life that he deserves Matt please come to Bolivar I really really need your
03:12help I'm excited Rolexes jukeboxes pinball sign me up dude that's a good Saturday night that is a damn
03:23good Saturday Uncle Tom's like the most interesting guy in the world he was a builder he had patents he
03:29was
03:29an inventor I know he has great stuff but our big ticket items are the Whirlifter jukebox pinball
03:34machines and a Rolex watch collection look at this man wow that's pretty cool Jamie good to see you
03:46very good to see you all right this is the whole team all right hey guys we watched the video
03:51it's
03:51pretty intense I think let's just jump into it can you and I tour the house and I'll let them
03:55go around
03:55back yeah we'll meet up afterwards all right all right we'll see you guys in a little bit
03:59all right welcome yeah to my uncle's humble abode all right Jamie's Uncle Tom was an inventor so he
04:11saw the opportunity and everything he didn't see an object for what it is he saw it for what it
04:15could
04:16be but my job is to see the reality and is this scrap or can I sell it for money
04:20wait a minute is this a
04:22waterbed that is old school man it is like 1970s or 80s so water beds are really frustrating because
04:41clients have fond memories of them there's nothing fond about them it's like having a car that I have
04:46to move out of a living room filled with water they're a nightmare and all they do is cost me
04:52money all right let's keep looking see what else we got some of my uncle's favorite items are in here
04:57okay so this is the cockpit yes it's kind of funny because it actually looks like a cockpit that's
05:02literally what we call it we call it a cockpit so everything he would do would be right here
05:06cockpit is where the most needed items for the hoarder today exist it's not where the treasury
05:12is not an X marks the spot in fact I've never found the treasures that simply in the hoarder's
05:18cockpit cell phones their chargers their medicine their keys the things they need to still function
05:24on a daily basis and so it should give us a hint into his daily behaviors that should lead us
05:30towards
05:30some of the treasures he really is into cool old lights and some of his favorite stained glass pieces
05:37are in here stained glass is valuable for a lot of reasons one is it's a lost art form it's
05:42made
05:42by hand it's not mass-produced they become more rare every year so their value continues to
05:46increase and it's extremely easy to sell I mean this is pretty sweet all right whoa whoa pinballs
05:57holy cow this is the orbiter one from the 80s ready for your next mission time to take on the
06:03orbiter one
06:05orbiter one was released by stern electronics in 1982 and it was one of the most unusual and
06:11experimental pinball machines ever built with the concept originating from designers with NASA
06:17backgrounds it featured a 3d moonscape that caused the ball to orbit unpredictably the design and
06:23gameplay of this machine is so rare and unique that serious collectors and historians jump at the chance
06:28to find in 2022 an original orbiter one went to auction for nearly $13,000 ah man but doesn't look
06:38good yeah this is definitely not what you want to see inventors love taking things apart and Jamie's
06:44uncle was no different but these pinball machines are just like classic cars they're worth way more when
06:50they're in perfect working order and sure everybody loves a good restoration project but we all know the
06:55real value here is in a perfectly working machine you know the reality is these may just be for parts
07:02at this point but even if they are that's still money but if all the pieces are here and if
07:07we can get
07:08them back together we can sell them for much more all right cool
07:16I never in my life seen this many Hawaiian shirts what occasion is it okay to wear this like it's
07:26ridiculous the amount of shirts he has he can go on vacation for three years straight and never wear
07:31the same shirt twice my good luck on selling these it says toxic yes do not open do we know
07:42what's in
07:42there no so we don't know that it's scientifically toxic toxic fridge come on like I've seen a few
07:50of these things I'm not that worried I wouldn't open it without a mask on okay I think that could
07:55be a
07:55problem but the guy was a scientist maybe we should listen a little bit my hunch is it's a diversion
08:01don't look in here look somewhere else what do I want to do I want to look in there all
08:06that being
08:06said this isn't horrible is there like a worse space than this the worst space is the office all right
08:13let's go check that out this is a room that I have many fond memories in as his you know
08:20crazy
08:21inventor office okay wow so let's talk about this world sir that is the happy days yes it is oh
08:29it's
08:30beautiful all right come on man this dance is on me the Fonz from happy days always knew how to
08:40get
08:40the party going and it all started with the jukebox these machines exploded in popularity from the 1940s
08:47through the 1960s becoming the glowing centerpiece of diners soda shops and dance halls across the
08:53country among collectors and lovers of vintage Americana Wurlitzer jukeboxes are considered the
08:59gold standard thanks to their iconic open cabinet design that lets you watch the magic happen that blend
09:05of engineering and showmanship is why Wurlitzer still command big value today recently a Wurlitzer model
09:12950 from 1942 sold for over $22,000 that's a beautiful piece I mean honestly that was one of
09:20the things in the video that got me excited I mean there's some nice stuff in here man wow and
09:25there
09:25is definitely somewhere a box of Rolex watches okay so recap me here like what is our goal for this
09:33entire
09:33house what do we need to have empty the house out completely so that I can rent it or sell
09:38it and then
09:40all the money that we'd make off of selling anything I need it to pay for his long-term care
09:44so you really need us to empty the house and sell everything we can absolutely okay well he's got
09:49good stuff all right I'm gonna go find the guys and then I'll meet you back in the living room
09:53and
09:54we'll put a deal together thanks man all right thank you thank you this is a fascinating hoard the
09:59jukebox is really good and honestly I think the stained glass is really good then we hear rumors of
10:04Rolexes silver jewelry I mean there's just there's a lot here there's a lot going on in this house
10:09oh yeah I kind of like it all right what did you guys see in the back a bunch of
10:14Hawaiian shirts
10:14like tons and tons it's thousands you know my concern is these pinball jukebox machines like
10:21do they work if they're just for parts that's a huge difference than if they work I mean I will
10:27say
10:27she wants the entire house emptied so they can sell it but there's a lot of trash in there we
10:32can't do
10:32this in three days just getting rid of the waterbed could take a whole day itself and plus I got
10:38to
10:38figure out how to get rid of these toxic fridge I need extra days at least an extra two days
10:42all
10:42right so five days what's that gonna do to cost around 15 okay you know we saw most of the
10:48target
10:48items on the tour they're definitely a little more beat up not the value that we had hoped but I'm
10:54telling you I'm looking around and my gut is telling me we're gonna find a lot of value in
10:58this home but if we don't find any additional items we'll be in a lot of trouble I mean for
11:02me to
11:03lose money at the house of the guy that invented the ATM that'd be pretty embarrassing all right
11:09I'm gonna go see if we can make a deal that makes sense for all of us and I'll see
11:12you guys in a few
11:12minutes up all right all right all right there is a lot of work to do here yeah we think
11:22it's gonna
11:22cost about 15 grand to clean it out for us to do the whole property we're gonna do five days
11:28but we
11:29think there's probably 50 to 60 thousand in revenue here so because there's so much work we'd love to
11:34be at a 50 50 split I was hoping for more because I have to take care of my uncle's
11:39long-term health
11:40care 60 40 60 40 you got a deal thanks all right I'm gonna go get the guys we're gonna
11:49get started
11:49thank you thanks Matt all right thanks for coming I'm so excited to pick through this house we're not
12:01gonna waste any time getting started so Chris and I are headed to the living room to focus on the
12:06cockpit and see if we can't find those missing coins and Rolexes that Jamie mentioned meanwhile Mike
12:11and Kaelin are gonna hunt in the pinball room and hopefully find those missing parts so we can up their
12:16value all right Kaelin we're looking for anything pinball related spare flippers bumpers manuals
12:24maybe even a soundboard whoa whoa whoa whoa check it out I've never seen this toy in person before
12:37this is obviously the Flintstones now boy all right there it is this is kind of interesting this is
12:49like I think like time codes green belted Delta Roo vacuum picker motion these like testing stuff oh look
12:58at this money shoot I'm really excited by what we're finding but Jamie's uncle has a bunch of different
13:03collections scattered everywhere and trying to find small delicate pinball parts mixed in at all is no
13:10easy task so taking our time and being extra thorough is our top priority pinball glass oh that's what it
13:20is hell yeah this pinball machine we found the glass that goes up top so that's great oh yeah dude
13:30I can hear them finding good stuff in there man man it's definitely got a lot of mice back here
13:36I
13:36don't know about what you're finding Chris my droppings I can smell it all right this is more inventory
13:44most valuable things are interesting but every interesting thing isn't necessarily valuable so far
13:50this house is filled with interesting things that are not very valuable oh yeah man look at me and my
13:57job
13:57here today is to clean the house out by selling things currently I haven't found anything I can
14:02sell so my costs are going up and my profits going down you're checking pockets hey let's try to
14:12make this a little more oh wait a minute what is this now we're talking man
14:25oh wait a minute what is this that's stock man so these stocks are from Diebold it's a company that's
14:32famous for bank ATMs and vaults and he worked for Diebold and actually created the ATM when he worked for
14:38Diebold and so it makes sense that he was issued these stocks while he worked there as far back as
14:44the
14:44early 80s when you bought equity in a company you actually got issued a stock certificate now everything
14:49is digital but these are still valid they're still real this is cash money we just have to redeem
14:55them this gets me extremely excited that's a $4,400 piece of paper right there man oh $4,400 that's
15:04what
15:04we need that's awesome good job a little bit of everything over here man this is amazing this place didn't
15:20catch on fire it's day two here in our patent pandemonium house and we're just scratching the surface of digging
15:25through this hoard we still don't know if we can get our pinball machines and jukebox up and running so
15:30it's vital that we uncover any additional hidden treasures
15:33including those missing Rolexes
15:36boxes of stuff that's all look that's all covered in rat poop last night Chris and I finished hunting in
15:41the living room and now we're setting our sights on the office it's like that trash compactor room in
15:47uh Star Wars it just keeps growing this is a tough room to say the least
16:02oh boom Ronald Reagan that is so wheat this is a Goodyear blimp that you blow up in its remote
16:13control look at that money
16:18well I don't know about you but mine's getting gross over here I'm getting into some serious pee I'm not
16:23sure what I can really save
16:26everything over here is eaten up I'm getting rat poop all over here I smell it do you smell it
16:34man it reeks over here all right so this is all eaten up by uh oh bam here's some watches
16:44come on man please be a Rolex what's the brand on that fossils yeah all right no go on these
16:52you know
16:53unfortunately these are everyday watches they're nice watches they're worth a little bit of money
16:56but they are not a Rolex more watches so far on this job our costs are going up but our
17:03profit is going the
17:04opposite way and if we fall behind too early we're gonna be playing defense for the rest of the job
17:14well let's see if we can work out a deal for all three items okay did you go 275 all
17:19right my man
17:19all right you got a deal all right perfect thank you so much I got cash right here
17:27let's see this this one doesn't have a tag you know this reminds me of the episode of saved by
17:32the
17:32bill you know what it reminds me of the Brady Bunch oh of course you went back too far it's
17:42a lot of
17:42shirts so so as in we so you see plastic and potentially coconut okay all right those are
17:50definitely worth way more than plastic Hawaiian shirts first emerged in the 1930s when Hawaiian tailors
17:56began experimenting with bright Japanese kimono fabrics and bold tropical prints after World War
18:02II servicemen returning from Hawaii brought the trend back to the mainland and the shirts exploded in
18:08popularity over the years Hawaiian shirts have been featured in countless forms of entertainment and
18:15collectors seek out the rarest ones they can find at auction Tom Selleck's original red jungle bird shirt
18:21from the show Magnum PI sold for seven thousand two hundred dollars these can be big money so let's
18:29make a pile all the Hawaiian clothes from the non Hawaiian clothes with all the shirts we found in the
18:34house
18:34and the dozens more we found in the pinball room this Hawaiian shirt collection is really awesome this
18:40could be worth five thousand dollars or more and hopefully this is just the tip of the iceberg
18:48these are cash boxes for ATMs oh man no cash and talk about a guy who took his work home
18:59with them
19:00we need to find our ATM in this world that's trash all right wait a minute look at that it's
19:11tiny but
19:12this is gold probably like 1500 bucks believe it or not there's a lot of silver in here I never
19:18want
19:18to leave a room down I like to make either break even or make a little profit in each section
19:22of the
19:23house thank God we found silver and gold coins in this room that gave us a lot more room to
19:28breathe more
19:29gold one two three four five six grams of gold we didn't find the Rolexes but we were able to
19:36pull
19:36some cash out of this room so if this is the momentum we needed to get to our overall goal
19:40these are some good-ass coins I love it we've got 87 watches in the collection I'm at $1,500
19:51I think I
19:53can do that awesome thank you sir this is gonna be fun fun fun day two is winding down and
20:03we're still
20:04nowhere near our $50,000 goal but we ain't giving up yet much 27 2013 was the aspiration day it
20:12never
20:12been open but the can is completely empty so while I continue to hunt in the office I'm gonna have
20:17Chris start attacking the kitchen so obviously we need to move the fridge let's talk about the obvious
20:40that this is a decoy they're saying look over here don't look here I'm telling you something in
20:48there now that Chris has cleaned out most of the kitchen the only thing left to do is clear out
20:52the
20:52toxic fridge I'm kind of excited about it the guys are not one two three this is a weird job
21:12you gotta
21:12look for very small pockets of joy and for me when my guys freak out and throw up that brings
21:19me joy
21:19oh that egg oh my god please what did I tell you man this mess is not working look at
21:29this this is why
21:31you go through the fridge whoa oh man all right let's see what's in here oh my god look at
21:39this
21:40gold coins oh my god oh man I told you we found some gold man this is the perfect win
21:48for us like I
21:50mean it literally felt like Uncle Tom created a fear factor challenge for us and I accept the damn
21:57challenge man if you wanted to steal this stuff uh you gotta really want it three ounces here gold
22:04is about five thousand dollars so that's 15 grand oh my god please finding all this gold is totally
22:10worth the smell no it's not I'm dying over here let's do it I hate it wouldn't mess right but
22:16we found a
22:16lot of gold in this fridge so jokes on me people had this stuff in crazy spots but hallelujah the
22:22fridge
22:23is gone hey you just made them a lot of freaking money now that we conquered the toxic fridge we
22:29can officially move on from the kitchen our next demon to tackle is that water bed in the bedroom
22:35but that's a fight for another day we might have earned it on that one
22:44oh no look at this let's plug her in see if anything comes on oh hey now the spinning lights
22:54seem to be
22:54working on both sides which is great oh man this jukebox only plays 78 records are categorized by how fast
23:04they spin measured in revolutions per minute or rpms 33 is the record that most people know it's pretty
23:11big and usually used for full albums a 45 is the small one at seven inches with just a song
23:17or two
23:17on each side like old school singles and 78s are the really old heavy ones from before modern vinyl they
23:23came in all sizes but the most common size was 10 inches all right the amplifier is missing we'll have
23:31to look around and see if we can find it because right now this won't play records and make noise
23:36like it's just lighting up and that's about all it's going to do
23:43all right you're the silver guy yeah i've been flipping stuff never got into coins this is a good
23:48starter set i think what's unique for you is there's probably 20 coins in here that'll be highly
23:52collectible that you're going to want to hold on to you have some buffalo nickels bunch of buffalo
23:56nickels over here and these are 90 silver 90 silver okay so if i wanted to buy everything honestly
24:03i'm looking hopefully for 2500 for all of it all right sweet let's do it you got a deal man
24:10all right
24:10perfect thank you all right come on in we didn't have much luck finding the missing pinball parts so i
24:21called in some local experts to let me know if we have any shot at repairing these machines these guys
24:27have been in the business for almost 50 years and they're some of the top experts in the field first
24:32in line we have star wars a lot of the uh the parts are in the wrong spot here but
24:42it's it's missing
24:44the soundboard but the flippers seem to work i'm gonna rough it give you a rough estimate probably about
24:48three grand as it sits wow if it was working it would probably sell for six grand well how about
24:55this the black knight oh this one's got the broken back glass yeah these are pretty rough yeah to restore
25:03it takes us about 40 or more hours to restore it's a big ordeal it's a big process i gotta
25:10be honest
25:11hearing how much work it's going to take to get these pinball machines restored is discouraging it would
25:16take weeks to get these done but we're already on day three of a five-day project so we just
25:21don't
25:22have time all right so what is this worth in this state probably about fifteen hundred dollars okay
25:29why don't we see what we can do on the other machines the this isn't going to come on because
25:34the power supply is not connected see how burned up that connector connector so it's never going to plug in
25:40okay what do you think this thing is worth in present condition i'd say probably about 800 800 bucks
25:46okay well how about this let me see if this changes the value at all brand new that's fantastic
25:52yeah that's a great backlash brand new how does this change oh well at least add 300 to it so
25:59about
25:591100 hey before you go we have one more to look at over here thankfully this one is in the
26:04best shape
26:05of them all what do you know about orbiter one uh it's the last stern pinball made i've only had
26:11one
26:11in the whole time i've been doing this it's in a really hard pinball to sell because if you were
26:17a
26:18family buying a pinball you want a regular pinball this is so unique if you're a collector and you have
26:24a number of them it's cool how much is this worth to us not a lot knowing how much these
26:30pinball
26:31machines would be worth if we had the time to restore them is just a massive punch in the gut
26:36there's
26:36still money to be made here but finding the buyer who's going to put the time and money into restoring
26:42these is a tall task
26:44look at this pop culture man this is great low-mo pop culture lights this will do
27:01probably 150 bucks oh that's a killer all right there was one thing over here oh man
27:10really curious what this is
27:18uh-oh it's got a hum to it man look at this i know what this is gonna be
27:23oh oh my god look at this oh man i feel like i'm in pulp fiction here
27:34uh-oh it's got a hum to it man look at this i know what this is gonna be
27:41oh oh my god look at this oh
27:48it's a neon test kit i can hear that home this would be from like the 70s or 60s this
27:54would be a
27:55traveling salesman's kit for neon so if you were gonna if he was gonna sell you neon signs he would
28:02turn this on and show you what it looks like and you would pick which color you wanted oh this
28:07is
28:08amazing i have never seen anything like this in my life it's incredible if you look at the plug here
28:15in
28:16the back that's gonna date it to the pre-50s this is so cool and after i've gotten to know
28:23jamie's uncle i can totally see why he dug this
28:30we've got three pinball machines here we've got future spa star wars and black knight
28:35and then over there we've got orbiter one me and my dad we had a couple growing up in our
28:39basement
28:40it's kind of one of our hobbies that me and him share together and i make them all nice and
28:44then he
28:44can help with some electrical oh that's awesome yeah to give you an idea of where i'm at i'd like
28:49to get seven thousand dollars for all of them four was my starting number oh yeah okay um you know
28:58i can have a little bit of wiggle room if it helps you out it'll come down to 6400 you
29:03got a deal deal
29:05i think that works for me man thank you congratulations when i first heard about these machines
29:10i was hoping we were going to get 20 to 30 grand for them but none of them work we
29:15don't have the
29:16time to fix them and we only have three days left to get whatever we can for them we made
29:21some money
29:21and got them off the property that's a win-win for me
29:32our time at this patented hoard has been flying but with just two days left there's still plenty to
29:37do in our efforts to reach fifty thousand dollars in profit all right i got something amazing for
29:42you look at this it's just the coolest thing man now is this for a personal collection or what yeah
29:49it would be for my part okay believe it or not i'm thinking a thousand bucks for this thousand bucks
29:54quite honestly i've never seen one before and i've been i've been doing this a long time would you go
30:00800
30:01i don't think so i think i'm pretty i'm pretty firm at a thousand i mean i just i know
30:07i'll get it
30:07somewhere i will throw this in okay i love betty boop i would do then all three of these for
30:141100 i'll do
30:15that you got it i do we're good man all right congrats
30:23this is a pain in the butt all right you got the hose gotta go all the way outside while
30:28we wait for
30:29other buyers to show up the team and i are going to work on getting that massive water bed out
30:33of
30:33the bedroom so get that all the way to the curb because this is going to be some nasty nasty
30:39water
30:40is it draining it should be draining this water is not moving we'll be here all day
30:46this water bed is a nightmare to move this water's heavy we probably have a 2 000 pound water bladder
30:52it won't lift up to drain out it is like moving a dead whale is anything coming nothing's coming up
30:58to
30:58it i mean this is one two three four five it's about 500 bucks an hour to do this i
31:03think we should
31:04just move on just start taking the frame apart because this is going to be an all-day process let's
31:07do that my man's right it's almost impossible to take it apart the wood is reinforced 10 different
31:17times with 100 different screws i just don't want it to cut the bed
31:24we had to literally just use brute force to break this apart okay break it bro i'm just breaking it
31:31down
31:35there is a reason we don't have water beds anymore because after the ones from the 70s started breaking
31:41nobody ever wanted to move them again oh me dude just gotta go into beast mode caitlin sometimes
31:51thanks for coming out jesse thanks thanks for calling me of course you are my hawaiian shirt
31:57queen jamie's uncle's hawaiian shirt collection is never ending and i've lined up a buyer who owns a chain
32:04of high-end vintage shops and with this volume she's my best bet to unload all of them by the
32:10way can we just
32:10address the fact we're looking at hawaiian shirts in a snowstorm in ohio yes if you told me i was
32:18going to do this today i would have never agreed so we have the 800 in the house that you've
32:23already
32:23seen okay we've got a hundred or so out here i'd love to work out a deal for all the
32:29shirts i do not
32:30think i've ever seen a collection quite like this one i will not be able to keep these in stock
32:36so just
32:37give you an idea of where i'm at i'd like to get thirteen thousand dollars for all the hawaiian shirts
32:58hey mike good to see you again good to see you buddy yeah whenever i find any cool jukeboxes you're
33:02my

33:09thinks about in one of the most famous ones uh but unfortunately not one of the most valuable anymore
33:14the back then they were playing 78s on here you don't really get good music on 78s you know when
33:19they switched to 45s in about 1952 that's when all the good music come out yeah this particular one
33:24nice cabinet but quite a few parts missing in fact i've got one for sale at the moment for
33:29thirty five hundred dollars um in much better shape than this okay so thirty five hundred in top
33:35shape that being said i'd love to sell this today we don't want it to be thrown away like we
33:40want
33:40somebody to get some use out of it tell you what i'm at twelve hundred dollars what do you think
33:45on
33:45that um for for a parts machine it's on the high side i'd be a lot happier at 800. how
33:53about we meet in
33:53the middle at an even one thousand okay sound good i'll do that awesome this job's getting pretty
34:02serious we're running out of time pressure's building we haven't really made a lot of money
34:07we've got to sell every item that we can find i'm trying to get money to help jamie's uncle and
34:12right
34:12now i'm just worried about breaking even this is not the scenario we wanted with only the office left
34:18we're running out of time and we're running out of places to hunt we've got to find some money fast
34:26all right i saw this i'm really just curious what is book of the fair
34:36this is everything that happened at the 1893 world's fair in chicago this was a book to tell
34:41the rest of the world that was going on and this this is what's going to be the future man
34:44look at that
34:47ice making and refrigerates a refrigerator machine this is the first refrigerator how cool is that
34:54that's silver i'll put the silver over here we've got all this scrap jewelry it's really not worth that

35:38it out
35:39he rolling this waterbed situation is driving me crazy i can't tell you how much i hate this thing
35:46man we wasted countless hours just to make absolutely no money but i gotta get this bed out of here
35:52though
35:5430 year old water bed water all right good job this is all trash
36:10we've got a few hours left we're running out of time and unfortunately unlike jamie's uncle i can't
36:15just invent a bunch of new stuff to sell we have what we have and we're running low
36:22we've been digging in this house for days and uncovered eight pieces of stained glass i love
36:28really old stuff here nice workmanship i'm interested in all of it we can work out a deal sweet i'm
36:34at
36:45all right thank you very much all right jamie when you called me you told me your uncle tom was
36:59bigger
36:59than life and his horde was bigger than life we did a lot of work and i think we're ready
37:06to show you
37:06i can't wait to see all right let's do it all right go on into your uncle tom's room
37:15this was a full room man i couldn't even walk through this the whole wall was hawaiian shirts
37:23i forgot how beautiful the building is it's gorgeous we got a lot more to see
37:29this was his cockpit this is kind of where he hung out he had his tv at his chair
37:35it's where he did his thing man so fireplace works from what i understand absolutely beautiful
37:41i cannot believe this is the same house it was a week ago it doesn't look like the same house
37:46at all i feel like a fairy godmother just made my dream come true all right let's go check out
37:51the
37:51kitchen wait what yeah not a big room but it was a big mess i have to say yes i
37:58almost threw up every
38:00time i came into this room it reeked yeah the toxic fridge it wasn't toxic but it was pretty darn
38:07close
38:07it was rough but more on that later all right let's go to the office this was probably my favorite
38:14room
38:14this room was tough the office it was a big room
38:22and it was full oh my gosh what was this like this was the room that i spent so much
38:30time with him in
38:32that period of life in high school with him mentoring and tutoring me and the emotions of both come back
38:38to
38:39me and that it's it's tears of joy that i can see this room and not be filled with garbage
38:46you know a
38:47horde can sometimes cover up their real memories and and hopefully this is making space for you to
38:52actually remember the guy that he is all right are you ready to see the final room pinball room oh
38:58my
38:58gosh look at this wow you've got to be kidding me i can't believe how big the room is it's
39:10huge i see why
39:11you call this this room was overwhelming we had to add two days because this was such a big job
39:18it's a huge relief matt i i wouldn't have been able to do this without you and your team couldn't
39:24even see how big this room was it was just filled with garbage all right you asked us to do
39:29two things
39:29clear the space and make some money and what's the money going to be for i need to take care
39:34of my uncle
39:35we were hoping to make somewhere between 50 and 60 thousand dollars in sales however the whirlitzer jukebox
39:41and the pinball machines didn't move the needle quite like we hoped what did bring us some money was
39:45finding an abundance of gold and jewelry including fifteen thousand dollars in that toxic fridge and
39:51another ten thousand dollars hidden in his office oh my god but the most surprising sale for us was
39:57this collection of authentic hawaiian shirts i'll come down to 12 000. all right i can do 12. awesome
40:06great so total profit 52 000 in sales after the 15 000 for cleanup costs that left us with 37
40:16000 that's
40:1722 200 for you that's 14 800 for us and i am very happy to give you
40:27your cash you're gonna get me mugged this is unbelievable a lot of money man wow i have definitely
40:35never been handed a stack of cash with so many hundred dollar bills this money can now be used to
40:42take care of your uncle we need every dollar to take care of him thank you you're welcome
40:55i know it's been a heavy heavy weight right now i'm feeling relieved there was so much my shoulders it
41:00was
41:00overwhelming and matt took care of things that really brings me a lot of joy and love and i am
41:08so grateful i'm glad you called us thank you thank you so much tom had a bunch of different collections
41:14i've wanted to tackle this hoard for a very long time and i finally got the chance and it absolutely
41:19kicked my butt i'm really glad that we got to help jamie we made him some money we've also got
41:24the house
41:24cleared so they can sell it and start to get the money that will help pay for tom's care
