00:01Buddha had deep scriptural knowledge.
00:05One thing about him is that he was quite well read.
00:09Second thing is, he was deeply interested in knowing the depths of life.
00:16He did not want to remain merely at the superficial levels.
00:22So he would observe a lot, he would think a lot.
00:25He had a certain curiosity.
00:26He does not live in the feeling that I already know.
00:31Next is compassion.
00:33Compassion is higher than justice.
00:35For him compassion is above everything else.
00:39He won't be someone who would fall for money or beauty or attachments.
00:44He would be someone who would put knowledge and realization above attachment and pleasure
00:51in pursuit of the real meaning of existence.
