00:15The butcher tells an amount. The Buddha is not having that kind of thing.
00:19The Buddha says, fine, it's flesh that you would get from this animal, right?
00:23The butcher says, yes.
00:24So the Buddha says, all right, you take that similar weight of flesh from my body and leave the poor
00:29animal.
00:30Now here you find the one with the highest consciousness prepared to sacrifice himself for an animal with a very
00:39low level of consciousness.
00:41That's how love operates.
00:42We all have a natural love for higher levels of consciousness.
00:48It's our duty to do justice to that love.
00:51We exist for the sake of that love.
