00:01This is the first date's restaurant.
00:04And we're back.
00:05Finally!
00:07A place where anything...
00:11Garçon.
00:12Okay.
00:13Breathe.
00:14...is possible.
00:15You've piqued my interest.
00:17There's two of them.
00:19There's two of them.
00:19No, nobody's losing their cool.
00:21An instant attraction.
00:24You have gorgeous eyes.
00:25Stop it.
00:28A match made in heaven.
00:32I'm a big fan of your parents' work.
00:34Or a sudden shock to the senses.
00:37Ah, Scott!
00:39None of these daters know what to expect.
00:42I'm in a village hall.
00:44What?
00:48What happens next...
00:53...is up to them.
00:54Cute.
00:56Would you like to see each other again romantically?
00:59Yeah, no.
01:01Yeah, I would.
01:03I don't know about her.
01:10There were nights when the wind was so cold.
01:15Woo!
01:16Beneath her whimsical Canadian charm, the real Mariah is also charming and whimsical.
01:23Sometimes when people first meet me, they'll be like, oh, she's so fun and bubbly.
01:27She's a ditz.
01:29But, like, no, I'm not.
01:30I'm always super right.
01:31I typically go for personality, 70%, look, 30%.
01:35I still need a hottie.
01:37He has to describe himself as hot.
01:38Just to make sure he says, I am hot.
01:40Baby, baby, baby, when you touch me like this.
01:46And when you hold me like that, you won't storm away.
01:50I just think I'm fun.
01:51I have a lot to offer.
01:53And, yeah, I think I'm going to have a great time with this.
02:01Hello!
02:04Your name, please?
02:05Mariah.
02:06Mariah?
02:06Yeah.
02:07American accent?
02:08Canadian.
02:09My apologies.
02:10It's so nice to meet you.
02:10I'm actually so excited to be here.
02:13You go, girl.
02:14You're ready.
02:15You look lovely.
02:15Yeah, thank you.
02:16It's always a bit nerve-wracking meeting new people and hoping that they like me and hoping
02:20I like them.
02:22So, I'll be nervous, but I think it will be, like, good nerves.
02:25What brings you here?
02:27Well, love.
02:28But, obviously, that didn't work out.
02:29So, here for the vibes now.
02:31I was in a four-year relationship with an Irish guy who I met in Toronto, moved here,
02:37and then two years after moving here, we broke up, and I have been here since.
02:42So, all he was was a stepping stone to your real dream.
02:45You said that, not me.
02:48What type are you looking for?
02:51Really, like, fun person, outgoing, has a good head on his shoulders, confident in
02:55himself, has a good life, good friendships.
02:57Nice, yeah.
02:58Nice family, ambitious.
02:59They already did ten points.
03:00I think you should stop.
03:01Yeah.
03:02I can keep going.
03:03Okay.
03:04I'm going to draw my dream Irish man.
03:07We're giving him a bit of arm muscles, because I really like, like, a nice arm.
03:12I'm going to give him a pink shirt, because I think a man that wears pink is very confident.
03:16A lot of the Irish guys have, like, you know, the Irish haircut, where it's, like, shh,
03:21it's, like, shh, like, shaved here, and then it goes up.
03:24This guy doesn't have that.
03:27Here we go.
03:28Meet Owen.
03:31Getting to know Ireland by myself, building my community.
03:35It's actually been amazing.
03:36Yeah.
03:37You have to find your bearings all the time, which is tough.
03:40Yeah.
03:40So I found my bearings, and now I need to find my man.
03:45It's the one fault of mine, two for sure.
03:48Get ready now, go, can't go, but don't you, step on my blue suede shoe.
03:53Thank you very much, is what Connor might say to his guitar.
03:58Do you get trapped up?
04:00Sometimes.
04:01With the guitar, that's just a cheat code, though, isn't it?
04:07I like a girl who knows what she wants, you know.
04:10For somebody who's confident and quite self-assured,
04:12kind of has a bit of a presence.
04:15I think I'm very particular.
04:16I have to have, like, that spark.
04:19You look great, man.
04:20We're okay, we're kind of casual.
04:22Casual, this is who I am, take it or leave it.
04:24What you want?
04:26You ready to go?
04:27I'm ready, man.
04:28Yeah, let's go.
04:28Go with me.
04:29Anybody that knows me knows that I don't go on dates.
04:34Blind dates are scary as it is.
04:36You made it, you brought someone.
04:37Yes, I did, yeah.
04:38Hello, how are you?
04:38Hey, how are you?
04:39Nice to meet you, Connor.
04:40Lovely to meet you, Mariah.
04:43Where'd you come from?
04:44I live in Dublin.
04:46Yeah, how about you?
04:47I came from Galway.
04:48Oh, really?
04:48Yeah, yeah.
04:49I've been to Galway a good few times.
04:50Yeah?
04:50Like it?
04:51Yeah, I love it.
04:52Oh wait, so you're from Galway?
04:52No, I'm originally from Brighton in the UK.
04:55Oh, you are?
04:56Yeah, can you tell me my accent?
04:57Yeah, of course.
04:59About ten years ago, I moved here fully.
05:02Didn't mean to.
05:03And actually stayed.
05:05Connemara got me.
05:06I think it does that to a lot of people.
05:07Do you usually date, do you, or what's your...?
05:10Do I usually date?
05:12Mm.
05:12Regularly, regularly date, or...?
05:14Oh, no, absolutely not.
05:15Why?
05:15I just, I just date my dog.
05:17I just date myself, so...
05:20That sounded really bad.
05:22I mean, I mean, I don't date.
05:25I don't date, so...
05:30Well, how are we getting on?
05:32Some people merely claim to be old-school romantics.
05:38Saeed keeps detailed accounts.
05:41I think it's really important in a relationship to be really romantic.
05:45Like, I've done terribly cringy stuff.
05:47Like, I've had, like, art commissioned and stuff of them,
05:50and there was one relationship I was in.
05:52I saved every receipt from every single date we went on
05:55and put it in, like, a big scrapbook on our first anniversary.
06:00I'll never forget the moment we kissed...
06:03Just, like, a tell-tale of every single date we've been on.
06:06Oh, fuck.
06:09It's a trick.
06:10It's a trick, man.
06:11I got tricked.
06:12How are you getting on?
06:13Mister, your name?
06:14Saeed.
06:15Mateo, nice to meet you, Saeed.
06:16Absolute pleasure.
06:17Where are you coming from?
06:18Uh, Ranaleh.
06:19Okay, I used to live in Ranaleh for four, seven, eight years, yeah.
06:22It's gorgeous, isn't it?
06:23Yeah, it's beautiful, eh?
06:24My favourite part of Dublin.
06:25Oh, Ranaleh's expensive, eh?
06:27Yeah, yeah, yeah.
06:28I live in the tiniest box room ever, so, you know, we don't pay too much, but...
06:31Yeah, yeah, yeah.
06:32It's good.
06:32I know I don't really come across as a nervous person a lot, but deep down...
06:36Would you like a drink?
06:37I'd love a drink.
06:38What would you like?
06:39I would love a Negroni.
06:41Respect.
06:42He's in love with you now.
06:43Good, good.
06:44So, well, let's just skip this.
06:46Right, we'll go on a date together.
06:47Come on, let's go.
06:47Shall we?
06:47Let's just get out of here.
06:48Yeah.
06:49I just find it's a great way of getting to know someone better and delivering some kind
06:55of rapport.
06:56It's not like if I'm there telling jokes and being funny, like, they won't know I'm shivering
07:01inside, like.
07:02We have, like, the most rubbish little box rooms with no insulation or anything.
07:06That sounds like every apartment in Dublin, so...
07:09It does.
07:10I wouldn't blame Ranala for that.
07:11I'm not blaming Ranala.
07:13Do you live with a lot of people?
07:14I live with four lads.
07:15Okay.
07:16Why don't you all just cuddle together in a bed?
07:18I've suggested it.
07:19They really, they keep turning me down.
07:22Like, lads.
07:23Why can't we just all cuddle?
07:24You know, if I was there, I would.
07:25I'd be like, yeah, no problem.
07:26It's fine.
07:27Thank you, finally.
07:28Anything to save money on electricity.
07:30Think about the bills.
07:31Yeah.
07:32What's a cheeky cuddle with the boys?
07:34I've had times where a girl has invited me over to her gaff and we're just sitting
07:37on this sofa together.
07:38She's making, thinking back, she's making very obvious signs, and I'm just there like,
07:43oh, no, I thought it was just friends.
07:45Someone who's a bit weird, like myself.
07:49That's good.
07:50A bit tapped in the head.
07:51I like that.
07:52Yeah.
07:52Honesty is good.
07:53You know, down to freak.
07:58Hey.
08:02Looks or personality.
08:04For Zaza, it's all about the beauty within.
08:09Definitely personality.
08:11They can be kind of goofy looking.
08:12I don't mind.
08:13They've just got kind of like an endearing sort of look to them or like some kind of charm
08:16or spark.
08:17Cause I'm just a teenage girl, baby.
08:22I can be kind of silly and goofy, which I enjoy being.
08:24But I'm actually smart, hopefully.
08:27I think that I'm smart.
08:28And I think that can take a little longer to see because I just like to sort of goof around
08:32a lot.
08:33Hello.
08:33Nice to meet you.
08:34Beautiful.
08:35What's your name?
08:35Zaza.
08:36Zaza?
08:36Is that a short for that?
08:38Short for Alexandra.
08:39Alexandra.
08:40Okay.
08:41Alex.
08:41In Croatia, we would call you Alex.
08:43Yes, yes.
08:44In the US too, we call me Alex.
08:46But Zaza it is.
08:47But I'm Zaza, yeah.
08:48Okay.
08:48I've gone on dates with like Irish guys, French guys, people from sort of all over because
08:52it is so international here.
08:54But you do need to have some sort of like stuff in common, you know?
08:58Your date is at the bar.
08:59Okay.
09:00Yeah.
09:00No, no, no.
09:01You're not going without me.
09:02I'm going with you.
09:02Oh, you're calling me.
09:03Sorry.
09:04Too eager.
09:06I feel like I'd be more nervous about what they thought of me than who the person is,
09:11maybe.
09:12Hello.
09:12How are you?
09:13Good.
09:14Nice to meet you.
09:14Are we going?
09:15What are we doing?
09:16Yeah, I think we're going.
09:16With the dog.
09:17Yeah, yeah, yeah.
09:17Not too ugly.
09:18Yeah, no.
09:19Great start to things.
09:20Great to meet you.
09:21You look stunning.
09:21Love the dress.
09:22Thank you so much.
09:22You look at yourself.
09:24You won't bear for a black.
09:24Yeah.
09:25How are you feeling?
09:26Feeling good.
09:27I'm a little nervous.
09:28Yeah.
09:28I suppose you'd have to be.
09:30Yeah.
09:30I love the cowboy boots as well.
09:32Look at those.
09:33Those are class.
09:34Thank you very much.
09:35And where's that accent from?
09:37I'm from the US, Arizona.
09:38I guess.
09:39I guess the US.
09:40Bringing a bit of culture.
09:41Culture.
09:42Yes.
09:43I freak out.
09:44I get my housemates to say,
09:45no, it's fine.
09:46It's normal.
09:47People go on dates all the time.
09:49What do you do?
09:50I'm a student.
09:51A student?
09:52And I work at a restaurant.
09:53What are you studying?
09:54I'm studying creative writing.
09:56Ooh.
09:56Yeah.
09:57A creative.
09:59Creative person.
10:00Yeah.
10:01How long have you got left?
10:02Until you're...
10:03My thesis is due on Friday.
10:05You're due on Friday.
10:06It's due on Friday.
10:06It's due on Friday.
10:07Thank you very much.
10:08And you're here.
10:08You're welcome.
10:09Yes, I'm here.
10:10This actually was making me more stressed than my thesis.
10:12Yeah, I can imagine.
10:13Once I get this out of the way, I'll be like, oh, okay.
10:16That's finished.
10:16Just a thesis now.
10:17Yeah.
10:20So, how long have you been in...
10:22Ireland?
10:22Um, three years.
10:24What brought you over here?
10:26Um, love.
10:26To be honest.
10:28Really?
10:28Yeah.
10:28You know, when I first came, it was actually really hard.
10:30Like, I'm not sure how you felt.
10:32When you...
10:33Yeah, it was strange.
10:34Like, um, for me, like, half my family's in England.
10:37Half of them are here.
10:37Yeah.
10:37So, I'm kind of between the two.
10:39About 15 years ago, my dad and step-man moved over here.
10:42Took over, um, a business that my step-mom had.
10:45So, do you work for your dad then?
10:47No, I, um, I work as a musician.
10:50Wait, cool!
10:50Uh, yeah.
10:51Uh, yeah.
10:52What do you, like, what do you do?
10:53I'm a singer.
10:53Yeah.
10:54Oh, my God.
10:55Uh, yeah, yeah.
10:56They're like, yeah, I know, it's pretty cool.
10:58I grew up in music.
10:59So, like, my dad is a guitarist and my step-mom is a saxophone player.
11:03So, I kind of had to play music.
11:06When I moved to Ireland, the music scene on the west coast of Ireland is so good that I just
11:11felt at home.
11:12Do you sing in pubs across Galway?
11:14Yeah, yeah, the west coast of Ireland.
11:16Yeah.
11:16Oh, my God.
11:1760s, 70s stuff, you know, like Eagles.
11:19Oh, yeah.
11:20Credence Clearwater.
11:21Wait, oh, is that them?
11:22I don't know.
11:22Oh, yeah, yeah.
11:23We've seen the rain.
11:24Oh, there we are.
11:25We're getting the voice out now.
11:27I'm a Biden stand and I'll come.
11:30Would you do Irish tunes or, like?
11:32Not Irish stuff, especially my accent.
11:34Yeah, I was gonna say, they must hate ya.
11:37Get off the stage, that's why they're booing ya.
11:45I'm sorry, I never asked your name.
11:48I didn't ask yours.
11:49Mine doesn't matter.
11:50Mine's Zaza.
11:51It is not Zaza.
11:53It is.
11:53It's short for Alexander, but everyone calls me Zaza.
11:55Everyone calls you Zaza.
11:56Yes.
11:57That.
11:57And I was Zaza before it was a term for weed.
12:01Before it was Zaza.
12:02Just to be clear.
12:03Yeah.
12:03I'm the original.
12:04And what's yours?
12:08My name is Saeed.
12:09Saeed.
12:10A pleasure to meet you.
12:11Proper.
12:12A handshake now.
12:13A hug earlier.
12:14Yeah, yeah, yeah.
12:15We're getting more formal as it goes on.
12:16Exactly.
12:17Will I just send you an invite to a Teams meeting?
12:19Yeah, that's fine.
12:20Yeah.
12:21That sounds good.
12:22I could do anything for a first date.
12:24All that matters is getting to know the person.
12:26I could go for a walk.
12:26I could go for a drink.
12:27I like to think I'm very sort of flexible and open-minded.
12:31So, what do you do?
12:33I didn't ask that.
12:34What do I do?
12:35I am a pharmacist.
12:36Okay.
12:36So I sell drugs.
12:37Cool.
12:38But like...
12:39The chill kind.
12:40I really love it.
12:41I love being a pharmacist.
12:42And whereabouts do you live?
12:44I asked you this already today.
12:45You did?
12:45Yeah.
12:45Yeah, no, no, no.
12:46I can piss some people off sometimes.
12:48Or annoy some people with the way I deliver things.
12:51You're from Ranala.
12:52Or you live in Ranala.
12:54And then you are from somewhere else.
12:58That's right.
12:58Okay.
12:59So you're asking me where am I really from?
13:01No.
13:02No.
13:02No, no, no, no, no.
13:03No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
13:05No, it's okay.
13:06Backtrack.
13:07It's okay.
13:07You can ask me that.
13:09I was asking if you were really from Ranala.
13:11Or...
13:11It's Lorcan.
13:12Mostly I piss off my friends.
13:15Because then I'm with whoever they're with that I don't really know that well.
13:19And I'm delivering all these weird lines and saying weird crap to them.
13:22Okay.
13:23So timeline...
13:25Timeline...
13:26Of your life.
13:26Let's do it.
13:27Timeline of my entire life.
13:28Yeah.
13:29Is this another way of asking me where I'm really from?
13:31I'm not asking where you're really from.
13:32You just kind of...
13:33You just kind of did it.
13:34You already asked me where I'm really from, so...
13:35I did actually, to be fair.
13:37So...
13:37To be fair.
13:38So I said I'm from Cabra and you said where are you really from?
13:40Nah, but actually like...
13:40You didn't say that.
13:41I was born in a place called Azerbaijan.
13:44Okay.
13:45And like...
13:45Know it?
13:46How?
13:47You know of it?
13:49Yes.
13:49Don't we all?
13:50No, we don't.
13:51Okay.
13:52Well, I do.
13:52Okay.
13:53How'd you know it?
13:54From...
13:54You know, the maps.
13:57From the maps?
13:58Also, I'm an F1 fan.
14:00There's a...
14:00Are you?
14:01Race there?
14:02Is there?
14:03There's a Grand Prix there.
14:04Okay.
14:04Yes, I thought so.
14:05Me and my dad both love Formula One.
14:07Actually, I liked it first and then he got into it.
14:09I think he was like, finally she likes the sport.
14:11So, he started watching it too and now whenever there's a race on, we're like texting each other about it.
14:15We have races there.
14:17Yeah.
14:17Yeah.
14:18Yeah.
14:18I'm a race.
14:19You're a race.
14:20Okay, yeah.
14:22So, anyway, finally we hear where you're really from.
14:25Finally.
14:27I don't have to ask any more questions around that.
14:29No, just be silent for the rest of the night.
14:40There are two sides to Luciana and they're both a bit tasty.
14:46If you were a food type, what would you be?
14:50Sweet and sour chicken.
14:52It's sweet, but it's a bit sour because I could be a little bit sooner.
15:00I came here for holidays and then I met my ex.
15:05I started living with him like after two days.
15:08He could have been a serial killer.
15:12I was with him for four years.
15:14And then when I separated, I said, well, I'm going to stay.
15:20Oh, oh, oh.
15:21Look at you.
15:24I...
15:24I snap.
15:26I need to make an entrance.
15:29So, what brings you here?
15:30I don't think you need any help of getting a man.
15:33Well, sometimes, you know, someone else that makes the choice for you could be a different perspective.
15:38I want someone, I have to say, honest, that wants to share, that wants to do things with me.
15:46If he's hot, wonderful.
15:48And how has dating been in Ireland for you so far?
15:50I mean, not bad, but not that good.
15:57Okay, yeah.
15:57I mean, that's why we are here today, right?
15:59Exactly.
16:00So...
16:00How do you find Irish men?
16:05Oh, they are gorgeous, I have to say.
16:07Some of them, they are very good looking.
16:11However, sometimes a little bit difficult on communication side.
16:15I am quite communicative.
16:17It always seems to work that way.
16:18It's like opposites attracts, you know?
16:19But then it's like we're on a stage that it's like opposites attracts.
16:22Yeah.
16:23This is two opposites.
16:24It's two opposites.
16:25It's two opposites.
16:33Back in civvies after 20 years in the army, Dara is still doing his bit for the United Nations.
16:40I'm looking for someone who is happy, outgoing and fun.
16:47I'm divorced three years and I've been dating Tinder, dating around.
16:52I had a relationship with a Brazilian woman, a relationship with a Polish woman.
16:57And, you know, I've met a lot of nice people, but I just haven't met, like, the one, I suppose.
17:03Mateo, nice to meet you, Dara.
17:04Yeah, it's a pleasure to meet you.
17:05It's a pleasure to meet you.
17:06Yeah.
17:06Well done, buddy.
17:07I'm just here for romance.
17:09I've got my roles.
17:10I'm looking forward to meeting my date.
17:11Believe me, when I show you your date, you're going to be happy.
17:15If you don't capture this chance, I'm after you.
17:17Okay, I got it.
17:18Let's do it.
17:18Make me proud then.
17:19I will.
17:19I will.
17:20Let's go.
17:21I'm definitely not for everybody, but I'm a chatterbox, so you won't be, like, any awkward silences or anything like
17:26that.
17:27And I think whether, like, we hit it off or not, we'll still have a good date.
17:33Hi.
17:33How are you?
17:34Oh, thank you.
17:35That's for you.
17:36Nice to meet you.
17:36Nice to meet you.
17:37How are you? Good.
17:38Great.
17:39Would you like a drink?
17:40I would love a drink.
17:40I love a whiskey sour.
17:41Whiskey sour, coming up.
17:43Nice.
17:43So, I like your tattoos.
17:44Look at all those tattoos.
17:45Yeah, yeah.
17:46They're so nice.
17:47Do you have any tattoos?
17:48I do, yeah.
17:49Like David Bowie, so it's like Bowie things related.
17:53Thanks.
17:53And it's like...
17:59So, did you travel far?
18:00How did you came here?
18:01Yeah, I just got the bus, so...
18:03Oh, the bus.
18:03Okay, good.
18:04Yeah.
18:05I came in the Lewis.
18:06So, you have the same.
18:07It's not that spot afar.
18:13Are you a little bit...
18:14You're a little bit nervous.
18:15Are you happy?
18:16No, no, no.
18:17I haven't been nervous, no.
18:18No, I've just been looking forward to it.
18:20And, you know, I didn't know what my date would be.
18:23And I was a little bit nervous about that.
18:24But now seeing you, I'm very happy, so...
18:25Oh, okay.
18:26I'm happy.
18:27That's good.
18:30And...
18:32Oh, yeah.
18:41So...
18:51We live on the farm, in Connemara, my family home.
18:55Oh, really?
18:55Yeah, you know what lands, we used to have chickens.
18:57What do you do with them?
18:58Do they lay eggs?
18:59They all died.
19:00They all died?
19:02Why?
19:03That's so sad.
19:03Badger.
19:04A rogue badger.
19:05What?
19:06A badger ate them.
19:07What's a badger?
19:09You know what a badger is?
19:10No.
19:12Never heard of a badger?
19:13No.
19:14You know, like, how do I explain a badger?
19:18How do I explain a badger?
19:21Do you like a fox?
19:23Yeah, of course I know foxes.
19:24Yeah, it's similar to a fox, but they're, like, more aggressive.
19:28What's an animal?
19:29I thought it was, like, car rage or something.
19:30No, like a badger.
19:31It's an animal.
19:32I'll show you a badger.
19:33Okay, okay.
19:46So, what do you do?
19:49I work in, like, tech industry.
19:51Okay.
19:51Yeah, I do, like, coding and stuff like that.
19:53Okay.
19:54Well, what do you do?
19:55I work in recruitment.
19:57Procurement?
19:57Recruitment.
19:58Oh, recruitment.
19:59Yeah, recruitment, yeah.
20:01Hmm.
20:02So, but, yeah.
20:05How would I know if your date's going well?
20:08I would say, like, you know, there'd be, like, a lot of smiling and eye contact would
20:13be good.
20:13Like, I've been told sometimes my eye contact isn't very good.
20:16But, like, I think if I'm, like, feeling someone, I would be looking in their eyes and
20:20smiling and stuff.
20:21So, if you see me doing that, it's probably going well.
20:25Um, tell me something about you.
20:28Well.
20:29We're matching for everything.
20:31Um, I'm a, like, sporty guy, you know, I like doing sports.
20:35Okay.
20:35Like, you know, I was a boxer for a long time.
20:37Okay.
20:37And, uh, recently, in the last year or so, I've started dancing.
20:41I've started doing dancing.
20:42Okay, what dancing?
20:43Uh, like, fojo, like, Brazilian.
20:44Fojo, okay.
20:45Like, Brazilian fojo.
20:46I go to this dance studio, like, multiple times a week, basically.
20:49Which is a big barrier for me, by the way.
20:51Yeah.
20:52When you see the people down there, they're really good at, like, expressing themselves and
20:55they don't care.
20:56Yeah, it's, like, liberating, right?
20:58Yeah.
20:58Yeah, like, I'll just say, like, feel sexy and dancing and, you know, not feel embarrassed
21:02about it and stuff.
21:09When I was two years old, myself and my parents moved here.
21:13Okay.
21:13Eventually settled down in Dublin.
21:15In Sauron.
21:15In Sauron.
21:16Famously.
21:17Well, see, this is the thing.
21:19This is the thing.
21:19I say Sauron, but, like, we move from place to place to place to place to place constantly.
21:24Okay, okay, okay, yeah.
21:25We were put with other asylum seekers in, like, this old B&B out in Tip.
21:32Then we eventually moved up to Dublin.
21:33And, like, it wasn't easy, because there really wasn't many immigrants around back then.
21:37The only reason I say Sauron is because my school was there.
21:40Okay, yeah.
21:41And we just kept moving around.
21:43Yeah.
21:43Just kept moving around.
21:44Yeah.
21:44It was challenging growing up, but, you know, you get on with it.
21:51I went to college in Trinity.
21:53Okay, cool.
21:54Yes.
21:55I became a pharmacist.
21:56Which you are, currently.
21:57Which I currently am.
21:57Yes.
21:58I was working in a pharmacy in Coolock when the Dublin riots broke out.
22:05And I just remember it happening.
22:06And I remember people coming in.
22:08And the looks I was getting just felt different.
22:11And as someone who's, like, lived in Ireland their entire life, I love Irish culture.
22:18Like, if someone asks me where I'm from, I say I'm Irish.
22:20I work hard for this place.
22:22I work hard for its people.
22:22And then to say, no, you don't belong here.
22:28Yeah, it just doesn't feel great.
22:35Oh, wait.
22:36You could bring three dinner guests to this table.
22:39I'm gone, because I'd be number one.
22:40But who would the three dinner guests be?
22:44Prince.
22:45Okay.
22:46And I would like to sit down with Brian Adams.
22:48I saw him live, literally, two months ago.
22:51He's so good.
22:52He's Canadian.
22:53At the concert, he, like, made everyone, like, flash.
22:56Really?
22:56And I was like, thank God, I didn't do it.
22:58Because an hour later, I was walking and I saw my boss.
23:01But anyways, Brian Adams.
23:03Prince.
23:04And last person.
23:05I thought it was you, the last person.
23:06No, no, no.
23:06I said, that's a given.
23:07So, like, I'm gone.
23:10Well, I said I'm a Gordon Ramsay.
23:12He made this meal.
23:18What's it like to perform?
23:19Like, you know, say, you're not working, you've got a weekend yourself, you can do anything you want.
23:23Well, I do, like, the same dancing.
23:26I do, like, um, heels, pole dancing heels.
23:30Oh, yeah, yeah.
23:30Very sexy.
23:31I do pole dancing.
23:33I love heels.
23:34I love the heels.
23:37If they are, like, this high, eight centimeters, very beautiful.
23:44And tell me this, tell me this, since you've come to Ireland, like, how's your dating been going?
23:48Well, it's not that I date a lot, actually.
23:51Well, I find it hard to believe, like, a woman like yourself is single and as not people.
23:56Oh, well, I've been in long relationships.
24:00So, I've been too long.
24:01Well, one long and the other one not that long.
24:04Um, but I entered a relationship, it was the same day.
24:07I was let go from my job.
24:09Bad timing.
24:10My God.
24:11Well, you know, when one thing happens, everything happens, right?
24:14Like it rains apart.
24:15Yeah.
24:15Like, it was very tough because it was all the same day.
24:19Like, that's life.
24:20Also, it's acknowledging, right?
24:22Like, sometimes maybe it's me, so.
24:24That I'm going on the wrong way or doing the wrong thing.
24:28You know, like, I don't know, very awareness of, okay, it's not only the other person because
24:32it's easy to blame the other.
24:33That's the communication thing, though, isn't it?
24:35Yeah.
24:36Oh, yeah.
24:37So, you're just enjoying being single at the moment?
24:39Oh, no.
24:39I was focusing more on myself, like, uh.
24:41Oh, it's true.
24:42Yeah.
24:43It's important to be happy on your, by yourself.
24:45Well, yeah.
24:46But it's meant, it means.
24:47Yeah, no one's meant to be on their own, either, you know?
24:49Mm-hmm.
24:56Try as she might, Fiona just can't seem to go out without attracting police attention.
25:03When we're going out, we say we're not going to go to coppers, and then the end of the
25:06night always ends up in coppers.
25:10You're not particularly looking for a guard, are you?
25:13Well, I wouldn't say no to a guard.
25:15I don't think anyone would say no to a guard.
25:18Or if you could find me a rugby player, that would be nice.
25:22Yellow, yellow, yellow is the colour of the summer.
25:25Oh, I'm such a hopeless romantic.
25:27Hello.
25:28I'd love to meet somebody, you know, at a bar or on the street.
25:31That's my ideal way that I'd meet my husband, but I don't know, in the century is it going
25:35to happen.
25:36How you look lovely.
25:37Thank you very much.
25:39I'd like a gentleman, you know, somebody who's not cocky, can have the crack, but also is
25:44like really down to earth.
25:45Oh, thank you.
25:46A lot of yellow, I love it.
25:47Oh, thank you.
25:48I think you have to have a certain personality to pull off yellow.
25:51Do you know what?
25:52Me last year, like, would never have applied for this.
25:54Really?
25:55What changed?
25:55I broke up with my ex.
25:58I moved out of home.
25:59I started a new job and I said, this is just the cherry on top.
26:03I'm just trying to push myself out of my comfort zone.
26:05Good, fair play.
26:05Oh, God.
26:07Like, what have I done?
26:11There's been Susan and Jacqueline and Karen was one.
26:16Angela's nice looking.
26:18She's dark and mysterious.
26:20To look at them, you'd never suspect that Tom has a passion for the autoerotic.
26:27Angela is my most recent car.
26:30All my cars have names.
26:32I just think it suits them better.
26:35Nice to meet you, Tom.
26:36Nice to meet you, Tom.
26:37What a nice story, my man.
26:37How are you?
26:38I'm in the easy spot.
26:40How are you?
26:41I'm a bit nervous.
26:41I'm fine.
26:42What is it that you are looking for?
26:45I want to find the love of my life.
26:46I think it's possible.
26:50Hi.
26:51How are you?
26:52Nice to meet you.
26:54Nice to meet you.
26:54Nice to meet you.
26:54What's your name?
26:55Tom.
26:55I'm Fiona.
26:56Nice to meet you too.
26:57Where are you from?
26:57Kildare.
26:58Grant, Grant.
26:59Yeah, Kildare, but living in Finglas in a minute.
27:01Where are you from?
27:01Kilkenny.
27:02Fab.
27:03Yeah, lovely spot.
27:04Did you travel down this morning?
27:06No, I live in Dublin.
27:07Do you know Ashtown?
27:08Oh yeah.
27:09I live, or I work on the Navin Road.
27:11That's outside my house.
27:12Stop.
27:14What do you do?
27:14I'm a nurse.
27:16No way.
27:16So I work at the minute with adults with intellectual disability,
27:20so I work for a disability service.
27:22I actually love it so much.
27:24I used to do nursing.
27:26Did you?
27:27What type of nursing did you do?
27:29ID.
27:30Stuff.
27:30Oh my God.
27:31I was in for a year and then Covid came.
27:33Yeah.
27:34So I couldn't commit to it after that.
27:35So what do you do now?
27:37Data centers.
27:38My last job, I used to climb like radio towers.
27:42Oh my goodness, that's bizarre.
27:43So you go from nursing to like, you know, scaling buildings.
27:48Yeah.
27:48It's bizarre.
27:51Phil.
27:52Okay, how long have you been single?
27:54Like two and something years.
27:56That's a while.
27:58That's a long time.
27:59That's tough.
28:00I mean, I like, there's been some dating in the middle.
28:03Mmm.
28:03I've been sitting at home like, you know, twiddling my thumbs, but.
28:07No, that's fair.
28:08Yeah.
28:08What about you?
28:09I've, uh, 24 hours.
28:11Yeah, cool.
28:11Yeah.
28:12Yeah.
28:13Better than three hours.
28:14I kind of knew that this was coming down, so I just broke, quickly just broke up with
28:17her.
28:17Cool.
28:18Yeah.
28:19I'll get back with her tomorrow.
28:20Clear the roster.
28:20Yeah.
28:21Clear the roster.
28:23Yeah.
28:24No, no, no.
28:24I've been single for a year and.
28:27A year and change.
28:28A year and change.
28:29Yeah.
28:30All right.
28:31I'd want him to be someone I could have a laugh with, you know, maybe split a bottle
28:35of wine, you know.
28:36Should we get shots?
28:37We could do one shot.
28:39Two shots.
28:42What would you, okay, what shot would you do?
28:43It would be tequila if I was doing a shot.
28:44It would be tequila.
28:46But then also have a serious conversation.
28:48I can trust him.
28:49You know, I want to feel like I really know him.
28:51I have an understanding of him as a person.
28:52And then I think, like, whatever problems come up, you can deal with them as long as
28:55you have that sort of baseline understanding.
28:57All right.
28:59To a first date.
29:00How do they say cheers in American?
29:02Cheers.
29:03You guys say Sláinte here.
29:04I am fucking with you.
29:05Yes, Sláinte.
29:06Oh, okay.
29:07Sláinte.
29:10Mmm.
29:11Mine was very salty still.
29:12That was worse than the shot.
29:13Yeah, I know.
29:18I literally look at all of my best mates.
29:20They're all in relationships.
29:21Yeah.
29:22And I'm not.
29:23And here we are.
29:24And here we are, yeah.
29:26Have you had, like, a relationship before?
29:28Yeah, yeah, yeah.
29:29Like, we were together for about three years.
29:31Um, lived together in that.
29:33And it just didn't work out.
29:35Like, you know.
29:36I kind of realised towards the end of it, like, we weren't really suited.
29:39Okay.
29:40And, like, I'm not one of those kind of people who, like, stay in something because you feel
29:43like it's the right thing to do, you know.
29:45Yeah, you're like, well, good for you.
29:46It's hard.
29:46Yeah.
29:47It wasn't right.
29:48We weren't right for each other, but I still loved her, so it was kind of, it still hurt
29:51a lot, you know.
29:52And then, I'm just not great at, like, online dating.
29:57Oh, it's awful here, isn't it?
29:58Online dating back home, you match with someone.
30:03And, 80% of the time, they'll write you and at least say hello or come up with a pick
30:08-up
30:08line, whereas, like, on dating apps here, like, I mask people and I'm like, it's a ghost town.
30:12I've downloaded it a few times for, like, just to see, but I've never gone on an online
30:17date.
30:18I'm not as confident as you think I am.
30:20I'm not.
30:20No, no, no.
30:21I'm surprised by how you're not confident.
30:23I feel like being a musician, you kind of have to be.
30:25When you're singing and you're playing music, it's like, you can hide behind it.
30:29Back home, we're very direct, so, like, if we like something, we say it.
30:32If we don't like something, totally fine, we say it and we move on.
30:35For me, personally, if I like someone, I'll say it.
30:38But I brought my friend Meg, who was visiting me from Canada to Galway.
30:42And we went to a few pubs.
30:43We went to one of the live music.
30:43It was really, really nice.
30:45It was you that was playing.
30:46Who knows?
30:47That's why it was so nice.
30:48Imagine.
30:48Oh my God, that guy's so hot.
30:49Yeah, yeah, yeah.
30:51And now we're here.
30:52I'm like, damn.
30:54I've seen him.
30:54I know his voice.
31:02I can't believe you're only working on the Navin Road.
31:03That's bizarre.
31:05My residents, like, we go out driving every day.
31:08So, like, I'd be driving down the Navin Road in, like, this big red bus.
31:10Oh, I've definitely seen a big red bus.
31:13Oh my God, you definitely see me, like, driving the bus.
31:16That's so embarrassing.
31:17I used to love the bus.
31:19Get everyone out for a spin.
31:20Yeah.
31:20You build such big relationships with your residents and it's very much about integrating
31:26them into community life and promoting independence for them.
31:30You can see the difference it's making in their life.
31:32So, it's really nice to see.
31:34So, what does your parents do?
31:36Mum was an ID nurse.
31:38No way.
31:40Oh my God, it's meant to be.
31:43Um, my dad was a guard.
31:45I actually wanted to ask him before, like, did you meet in coppers?
31:50I think they were weird and got married, like, in a shopping centre.
31:54What was the reason?
31:55I don't know.
31:56I think they just wanted to have fun.
31:58I love that.
31:59Oh my God, like, don't stick with the norm.
32:02Who needs a church?
32:04How do you feel about, like, the whole, like, traditional marriage thing?
32:09I don't know.
32:12Do you have anything?
32:14No, I like to believe I have, like, guardian angels.
32:18That's a bit comforting.
32:19But I wouldn't be, like, a big God guy.
32:22Yeah, that's lovely.
32:24I feel like I'm on the fence about it.
32:26Some days I do and some days I don't.
32:28I think it's more of a comfort thing.
32:30Like, I want comfort in knowing that there's something else afterwards.
32:39I was over in Spain last week, actually.
32:41Oh, really?
32:41Yeah.
32:42Where did you go?
32:43Salute.
32:44Okay.
32:44Yeah.
32:45I have two kids.
32:46Okay.
32:47My daughter's just going ten.
32:49So you have a girl, ten, and a boy?
32:50A girl and a boy.
32:51Yeah, and a boy seven.
32:53Okay.
32:54Like, last year at the Disneyland.
32:56Oh, really?
32:56Yeah.
32:57Every year I just bring them somewhere, like, you know.
32:59It's like spoiling them.
33:01They're having the best time.
33:02That's great.
33:02That's what you have to do.
33:03Yeah.
33:03That's their childhood, basically.
33:05You've got to have childhood memories and stuff like that.
33:07Yeah.
33:08I'd go without the kids.
33:09I love it.
33:09Oh, really?
33:10To, like, roller coasters.
33:12No?
33:12No, I can't.
33:13No, I don't want to suffer.
33:17Maybe I'm just a bit of a kid.
33:18I don't know.
33:22Dates by myself.
33:23That sounded so bad, though.
33:25Yeah.
33:25Right.
33:27Would you ever go for, like, solar dinners or, like, solo, like, lunches?
33:30Yeah, yeah.
33:30I do, yeah.
33:30I think a lot of people nowadays have a bit of a problem with it.
33:33Yeah.
33:33They think they have to be with someone.
33:35Yeah.
33:35I've kind of gone through that stage now.
33:37I've, like, doing that all by myself.
33:39I think when you're single, like, 50% of the time, you're like, this is great.
33:42Out of the weekends and that, it's fine then, but it's when it hits
33:44like the Monday mornings or the Monday evenings and, like, you're by yourself.
33:49But now it would be more nice to, like, have something to do with.
33:52And not go by yourself all the time.
33:53Yeah.
33:53Because I probably am starting to look a little bit like a loser.
33:56You know when you meet people and you're like, there's energy there, but you don't
34:01want to make a move because then what if they're actually not into you and they're just
34:04being nice?
34:05It's just a minefield.
34:07I'm going to smell the dog honestly as well.
34:09I've got it.
34:09Are you sure?
34:10I've loved my time.
34:11It's so good.
34:12That's really sweet.
34:15Moment of truth.
34:17Would you like to see each other again romantically?
34:22Ladies first or what me each?
34:24I can go first.
34:25Yeah.
34:25I'd love to.
34:26Yep.
34:27I'd love to, yep.
34:29Yeah, I thought we were going really well.
34:31Yeah.
34:31It was really fun.
34:32Really good fun, yeah.
34:33So what did you ask for tonight?
34:34Somebody who's, like, chatty, likes music, nice person.
34:39How about you?
34:41I asked.
34:43Oh my God, no.
34:44What is this?
34:45This is.
34:46I think you did.
34:48I did.
34:49This is my dream man.
34:50I like someone who is a family man.
34:53Yeah.
34:54Someone who's confident, but I think you're very confident.
34:57Even though you're like, I don't know.
34:58Should have split the belly and should have left.
35:02Really nice smile.
35:04You have a great smile.
35:06That was so fun, wasn't it?
35:07That was great.
35:09Who is Owen?
35:10Owen is the old Mariah.
35:12Oh.
35:15Good boy, Owen.
35:16Hello, Connor.
35:17Yeah.
35:22What's happening with the hair?
35:24I'd like to see you draw me.
35:26I would love to.
35:31Will you keep...
35:37Thank you ladies.
35:38All the best.
35:41Hello.
35:42Hi.
35:43How are you?
35:44Good.
35:45How are you, more importantly?
35:46Oh my God.
35:47He's so nice.
35:49Is he?
35:49Yeah.
35:50He studied a year as an intellectual disability nurse.
35:53No way.
35:54And his mother is an intellectual disability nurse.
35:57I know.
35:58That was a match made in heaven.
36:00Fucking hell.
36:01I know.
36:02I don't know, though.
36:03Is he my type?
36:04Really?
36:05I know.
36:05And what does he do?
36:07He does stuff with cables, I think.
36:09I don't really understand his job.
36:15How do you like Dublin city?
36:17Oh, I think it's wonderful.
36:18Yeah.
36:18I can feel like 10 million inhabitants where I'm from.
36:21In just that city?
36:22So, only Buenos Aires and maybe more, yeah.
36:24Wow.
36:24Now here, for me, nothing.
36:26Yeah, it's nothing.
36:27Countryside.
36:27Yeah.
36:28Yeah, I love it here.
36:29Ireland has changed so much now.
36:31Like, you know, in the 80s and 90s, people used to leave Ireland, you know, because there's
36:35no jobs here.
36:36Oh, yeah.
36:36That's why there's Irish immigrants all over the world, you know.
36:39But now people are coming here because, you know, there's opportunities here.
36:42And I think it's better.
36:44All the different nationalities, I think it's great.
36:46I like that, too.
36:48That mix of cultures.
36:50It doesn't matter where you go.
36:52Like, Irish people itself are very welcoming.
36:55I remember when I arrived and I went to a pub.
36:58The first time I was on my own, there was a group of people there.
37:02They see me on my own and say, oh, join us for drinks.
37:04And they start getting drowned.
37:05And I was like, I thought that was very nice, right?
37:09It's the place that makes you feel part of.
37:11So, for me, I needed that feeling of belonging and I got it here in Ireland.
37:16Cool.
37:17It's good to hear.
37:18Hmm.
37:21I love just like a plain cheesecake.
37:23That's nice, yeah.
37:24Have you ever been to the U.S.?
37:26I've actually never been to the States.
37:27Okay, that's okay.
37:28No rush.
37:29No, I'll wait until they're less racist over there.
37:32Yeah.
37:33Hopefully it goes eventually the less racist route.
37:36Just a bit.
37:36Currently it's going the other way.
37:38It's going very much so the other way.
37:40Yeah, racister.
37:41More racister.
37:42Well, to be fair, I have family over in the U.S.
37:45And?
37:45In D.C.
37:46Mm-hmm.
37:48So I...
37:49I was born there, actually.
37:50You were born in D.C.?
37:50Yeah.
37:51Well, like the suburbs.
37:52Like in Virginia, the suburbs.
37:54Like I'd want to know we were kind of aligned politically, hopefully.
37:57Religion doesn't matter to me as much.
37:58I'd be more flexible about.
38:00What would be like your dream job?
38:02That's an interesting question.
38:04As a writer, there's none.
38:05There's no jobs.
38:06Oh, sorry.
38:06Yes, you're a writer.
38:07Yeah, so...
38:07You will never be employed.
38:08Yeah, that would be good.
38:09You know, I like my restaurant job, but I don't think that I'd want to be in a restaurant
38:12forever.
38:13Working at a restaurant is great inspiration for writing, because so many different people
38:16come in, you know, you hear something and you're like, no.
38:20If I could just like be a writer and survive, that would be ideal.
38:23That's what I was going to ask.
38:24Yeah.
38:24Do you read or...?
38:28Both my parents are writers, so...
38:30Lots of books in our house.
38:32So they definitely supported me being a writer.
38:34They might have supported me less if I wanted to be a doctor or something.
38:37It's like the opposite.
38:38Favorite book ever?
38:40Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro, you know?
38:43You're pulling out some niche stuff.
38:46It's so fair.
38:48It's really not that niche, I hate to say.
38:50I actually think it's not that niche.
38:52All right.
38:52All right, you hear that.
38:52Now you're just making me look stupid.
38:54It's not that niche.
38:55My mom had a brain tumor for about eight months before she passed away.
39:00She always loved everything I did that was even like kind of out there.
39:03She was so supportive.
39:05And me moving to Ireland, she was the one who was like, you should absolutely do it.
39:08You know?
39:09Repeat the name of the book.
39:11Never Let Me Go.
39:12Never Let Me Go by...
39:13Kazuo Ishiguro.
39:14They're clones, but it's a sad book.
39:19Oh, that's the one where they like use their bits and other people's bits.
39:23I have heard of this.
39:24Yeah.
39:25Their bits are for sale.
39:27Their bits are for sale.
39:28Yeah, yeah, yeah.
39:29They put the bits in the other bits and then...
39:30And then they die.
39:31Then they die.
39:32Yeah, yeah, yeah.
39:32I haven't read it in years.
39:33Like maybe I'd read anything with shit now.
39:35Yeah.
39:37Sometimes you do need to revisit the same place to figure out how much you've changed.
39:41Wow.
39:42That's very touching.
39:49So I'm now an auntie.
39:51Really?
39:52He's only four days old.
39:54Four days.
39:55He's so small.
39:56He's growing by the minute.
39:58It's so new as well.
39:59Like, yeah, like he's really new.
40:01He's precious.
40:02Yeah, he's gorgeous.
40:03So is your brother?
40:05No, my sister.
40:06So it's just me, my sister and my mom at home.
40:08So yeah, he's going to grow up and be like, Jesus Christ, I'm surrounded by women.
40:12Oh, it's like for me.
40:14I have three sisters.
40:15They definitely were in charge of the house.
40:18But I would still get away with everything and still be the favourite.
40:22So you get it?
40:23I kind of do.
40:24Yeah.
40:25You know, oh my God, I love him so much.
40:28Like I literally love him like he's my own child.
40:30I know.
40:30I can't wait.
40:31There's no pregnancies yet.
40:34Yeah.
40:35I actually cannot wait.
40:37Family is like huge to me.
40:39I'd be terrified of having kids because I'm too young for it now.
40:43But it's something that I can't wait for.
40:46I suppose like it's the milestones, isn't it?
40:48Like because it was only my mom and me.
40:51Like obviously you go through these milestones and being like, God, like I wish my dad was there.
40:56What happens with your dad if you don't mind me asking?
40:59So when I was, I think I was 12, he had a stroke and my mom found him and he
41:08rushed to hospital and then he was in ICU for a long time.
41:11And then he went to rehab for a few months.
41:13He lost the power of his right arm and his left leg, but they got him to be able to
41:18put himself in a wheelchair.
41:20And they got him his speech back, not completely, but he never got the capacity back, his brain capacity.
41:28So he ended up in a nursing home and then he passed away when I was 17.
41:32It's tough. It's really tough.
41:34It's tough, but like what you're so resilient when you're younger, like you kind of just go into overdrive when
41:38you're that young.
41:39You don't even think about it.
41:40But when you stop when you're older and you're like, God, like that actually has really shaped me as a
41:44person.
41:45You know, it's tough, but like now that there's a baby involved, you're kind of like, God, like this is
41:50life, you know?
41:58And did you like speak English before you came to Ireland?
42:00Oh yeah, I did.
42:01Because your English is like perfect.
42:04Do you speak Irish?
42:06Well, we learned at school, yeah, like, but I haven't, I don't speak regularly, but I'm okay.
42:12Yeah, but I'm okay. It's like the people that say, oh, I speak Spanish, and they say, hola, que tan.
42:16I'm gonna have a bit of a conversation.
42:18Okay.
42:18I'd say like, um, conestatu, how are you?
42:21Okay.
42:22Eh, daras, I'm done.
42:25Eh, is ma long, an, an data, an data, the date maybe, this date.
42:31I'm enjoying this date.
42:32Okay, of course, that's good, that's important. We're here to have fun, huh?
42:35That's the important thing.
42:37Yeah.
42:38I'm just gonna pop this here.
42:39Oh, thank you.
42:40I'm gonna get that, by the way.
42:41Oh no, we could share, we could share.
42:43Yeah, no, we're not gonna have an argument on live television.
42:45But really, I'm not that like it, really.
42:47I know, I know, but I wanna get it. Please let me.
42:49Okay.
42:52First impression, I thought she looked amazing.
42:54And getting chatting to her, she seemed really nice.
42:57Did you fancy her?
42:59Absolutely.
43:07So, would you guys like to see each other again romantically?
43:11Um, I, I, I can go first.
43:14I think, uh, as a friend, yes.
43:17But I think romantically, maybe not.
43:19I mean, I have a lovely date, I have a lovely time.
43:22Yeah.
43:22But I don't think there was that spark, maybe.
43:25But, yeah.
43:26Yeah.
43:27Yeah, I'd have a lovely night.
43:28Like, I would have said, it would have been a yes for me, but...
43:31So, that's fine, I pretty respect that.
43:33Um, you know, you gotta have that spark and stuff like that.
43:36Yeah, yeah.
43:37But I think I have a great time.
43:38Thank you so much.
43:39Thank you very much.
43:40Pleasure to have you.
43:41It's been great to have you both.
43:42Thanks again.
43:42We tried to get along, lovely.
43:44But yeah, it was something missing on that conversation, right?
43:50Well, he had paid.
43:51Yeah.
43:52I always would do that anyway, so...
43:53I know, I know.
43:54But I, I always...
43:55I know you wanted to, but...
43:56No, I, I wanted to pay for it, honestly.
44:00Safe home.
44:01Have a great night.
44:02I didn't feel there was any awkward moments.
44:04For me, there definitely wasn't.
44:06I definitely enjoyed just kind of getting to know her and chatting, you know.
44:10And I had a really nice time.
44:22Yeah, I, I...
44:23Are you sure?
44:23We can go splitsies.
44:24I can get it.
44:25You get the next one.
44:26I felt relaxed.
44:27I felt chilled out.
44:28I hope that she did as well.
44:30Perfect.
44:31Thank you very much.
44:33All good?
44:33Thanks.
44:34All good.
44:35Lovely.
44:36He was very funny and very nice.
44:38Like, it was very easy to talk to him.
44:39Like, very personable.
44:41After you.
44:41Oh.
44:43Wow.
44:44Any jackets?
44:45Mine is just over there.
44:46The one, the black one with the orange inside.
44:49Hello.
44:50Well.
44:51Here we are again.
44:52Best of luck.
44:53Cheers.
44:53All the best now.
44:54Back this way.
44:55Yes, straight ahead.
44:56Straight ahead.
44:58Would you like to see each other again romantically?
45:04Yeah.
45:06I'm not sure.
45:07I think no.
45:09That's fair enough.
45:10Sorry.
45:11I had a lovely time though.
45:13Oh good.
45:13We had a great chat.
45:14No, I think we had a really good chat.
45:15Yeah, I was laughing.
45:16You should be a stand-up comedian.
45:19Sorry.
45:21Right, so.
45:22This is, this is the end.
45:23Did you have a lovely...
45:24I actually, I did.
45:25You made me feel very calm and like relaxed.
45:27And I really appreciate that.
45:28Yeah.
45:29Good.
45:29It was a lovely time.
45:30It was actually.
45:31The initial thing was more friendly.
45:34For sure.
45:35And we will...
45:35Pleasure.
45:36Stay in touch.
45:38We'll stay in touch.
45:38Yeah.
45:40Do you crack it or what do you do?
45:42I think we're, yeah, we're supposed to crack it.
45:46It's actually really good.
45:48Ooh.
45:54Are you happy?
45:55Yeah.
45:56Happy with the day.
45:56Very happy.
45:57Yeah.
45:58I'm very confident I'm going to say yes.
46:00Words I'm going to say no.
46:01I don't, I've been panicking so much.
46:08I don't know what I was going to say.
46:10I'm just, I've taken your words away.
46:12Do a little bit.
46:13A little bit.
46:17A little bit.
46:20Let's go Hobbs.
46:22Are you sure?
46:24Okay, I don't, I'm okay.
46:25Yeah?
46:26Is that what you were saying no?
46:28She didn't say that.
46:31Okay, so would you guys like to see each other again romantically?
46:38You always.
46:39I would, yeah.
46:41Yeah, I would.
46:43Yeah.
46:44Yeah, I would.
46:45Yeah.
46:45Yeah.
46:46Yeah.
46:47Do you want to just do it down the middle?
46:49Yeah.
46:50Perfect.
46:51She's really, really pretty.
46:54Um, and we got on, yeah, we got on really well.
46:56I said to the girls today, I was like, my husband is somewhere getting ready.
47:00Like, he's talking to his friends, he's talking to his family.
47:02He's nervous.
47:03Like.
47:05So do you fancy each other?
47:07Yeah.
47:08Yeah, I think there's potential there.
47:10Yeah.
47:11Yeah, I do fancy you.
47:12I only have potential, but that's fine.
47:16Okay.
47:16Yeah.
47:18He did a year of nursing and he has three sisters, which is like, you know, tick, tick,
47:23tick.
47:24So it's good.
47:25Like, he's really nice.
47:27What do you like about each other?
47:29You're very passionate about your family.
47:32That's, like, really passionate about me.
