Mumbai, Maharashtra: Actor Aushim Khetarpal, in a conversation with IANS, spoke about his upcoming film 'Children of God', saying that his belief in spirituality inspired him to make the project. He described the film as being based on a true incident and focused on the lives of the transgender community. He explained that the film is socially driven and highlights their struggles, search for identity and desire for acceptance. Directed by Ashish Saxena, it also follows the journey of a young man named Amit as he moves toward self-acceptance. Aushim Khetarpal further linked the film’s message to spiritual teachings, referring to examples from the Mahabharata where Krishna supports serving the Kinner community, as well as the principles of service associated with figures like Saint Sai Baba and teacher The Buddha. He called the film a form of seva, emphasizing its importance as a meaningful and socially relevant story.
