00:00We talk about beauty products a lot on this network.
00:03One thing that we don't talk as much about is aging and the idea of, you know, I guess, I
00:09don't want to say fighting aging,
00:11but certainly maybe aging in a way that's a little bit more graceful.
00:15You have a new product.
00:16Kind of the key thing to it, though, is that this is, there's science behind it, right?
00:21This isn't just you came up with your own idea and said we're going to make a cream.
00:25There's real science behind it.
00:26Tell me about it.
00:26Yeah, I mean, we're entering the realm of longevity and beauty.
00:31And this is really backed by longevity science that is coming from the medical field.
00:37You know, longevity medicine is about the way you're going to age and the way you're going to leave those
00:43extra years in the best way you can.
00:45And it's a change of perspective when it comes to beauty because we put all the effort, all the science
00:51of L'Oréal to study then how do we age at the skin level.
00:56And I think that longevity is helping beauty to move from traditional corrective skin care, which is about correcting the
01:06aging science, to a more proactive approach.
01:09That is more understanding how we age, what are the different processes that are triggering how the skin is changing
01:16over time,
01:17and then being able to navigate and shape the way we're going to treat aging.
01:24So is this a product geared towards older people or is this something that younger people should be using as
01:30well?
01:31Longevity is multigenerational.
01:33You know, I often ask this question about, you know, at what age do you need to take care of
01:39the longevity of your skin?
01:40And in fact, it's at any age.
01:42You know, it's never too early or too late.
01:44In a way, when you're younger, it's all about anticipation.
01:47It's about preserving your use capital.
01:51And it's for your body, but it's all for your skin.
01:54And then as you evolve with age, you're going to maybe take more control about the way your skin is
01:59aging,
02:00maybe shifting a little bit of the trajectory when you know how to intervene at the skin level.
02:04What is, how do you stand out, though, as a product?
02:08I mean, you know, the beauty counter, of course, you go across the street from Bloomberg World Headquarters.
02:12You have Bloomingdale's, all the great products there.
02:14You have a Sephora on the other side of the street.
02:16I mean, there's a hundred different products I can choose from here.
02:19How do you stand out and make sure your product stands out?
02:22You know, the way we're launching this product is because we want to launch it with credible progress.
02:27So we started really from propelling the science.
02:30With this launch, we are having the longevity integrative science program of L'Oreal to back us in terms of
02:38science.
02:39We do have two incredible partnerships with two biotech that are pioneers in longevity science.
02:45We have Timeline, which is a Swiss biotech that has this mytopia molecule that they are, you know, selling as
02:52a supplement for longevity.
02:55It's the number one selling longevity supplement with your retina.
02:58And we are the exclusive brand to transfer it into advanced skincare.
03:02That's the first point.
03:03The second one is Nanoentech, which is a Korean startup we worked with to develop a diagnosis.
03:09What the diagnosis is important is it's going to help measure your skin-visible biological age, which will help as
03:17well the consumer to understand that maybe I have my chronological age, the age in my passport, but maybe the
03:23age of my cell is different.
03:26And this is a biological age.
03:28So it's better when you are a little bit younger than your chronological age, but sometimes you're older.
03:32So it's indicating how you're going to react to your aging.
03:36So is the use of these products and the sale of it, is this going to be unique for each
03:40customer or is it kind of one size fits all?
03:42It's a personalized way of approaching it per generation.
03:47So we have three ranges, three sub-ranges.
03:50One is called anticipated.
03:51So when you're below 35, it's about anticipating the signs of aging before they appear.
03:57You have then intercept.
03:58It's roughly between 35 and 55.
04:02Here you need to reboot the renewal process, the resilience of the skin.
04:06So it's really when real aging signs are starting to appear.
04:10And then reset is for mature skin beyond 55.
04:14And here you start to focus on recovery and reversing, hopefully, the biological age of your skin.
