00:24But this is the thing about policing.
00:26And I learnt it firsthand in Northern Ireland when I was working with the police over there.
00:30I sat in the control rooms when they were making decisions about operational matters.
00:35You have to make a decision in that split moment according to the situation as you understand it to be.
00:40And for politicians to wade in, as Zach Polanski did, is disgraceful.
00:45He's not fit to lead any political party.
