00:00It's a very disappointing result.
00:03Incumbent governments quite often get results like that mid-term.
00:07But I do understand that voters are frustrated, they're impatient for change.
00:14And I came into politics, late in life as it happens, to fight for change for those people who need
00:21it.
00:21The people who need an NHS that works for them.
00:23To be able to get a doctor's appointment when they need it.
00:25To get the money they need in their pockets to pay their bills and to have a decent and better
00:30life.
00:30And I will keep on fighting for those people for as long as I've got breath in my body.
00:35I will also fight against the extremes in politics.
00:39On the right and the left.
00:42Parties who want to tear our country apart.
00:45The Labour Party is the only party that can knight our country and our communities.
00:51And we will line up together in that fight against the extremes of the left and the right for the
00:56values that we believe in.
