00:01Previously on So Sharp,
00:02you should look better each day, not worse.
00:06Rose...
00:06Come on, bring the performance!
00:09Marissa, I'd like you two to switch.
00:11That was just, like, embarrassing.
00:14Hi, guys!
00:15Gabrielle wasn't invited.
00:16We're here to talk about nationals.
00:18Gab, can you tell them what the floor is like?
00:20Do you know how mean that is?
00:22We have been using the hair as a prop for three days.
00:26What did she think we were doing here?
00:27Pulling a plunger out of our ass?
00:29This pisses me off.
00:31I'm sick of it.
01:05I truly enjoy all music, and that includes country.
01:10The last three years of my life could easily be a bad country song.
01:20My wife left me and my friend's truck was here, you know, sitting at the bar, head hanging low, crying
01:26in my beer.
01:28Then, you know, some country songs are about partying and kicking up in the field.
01:33A little sexy trashiness.
01:37God bless America.
01:47Put your smiles on me.
01:56OK.
01:57Pull in and have a seat for a few minutes.
02:00I want to talk about a few housecleaning things from last week's routine.
02:04I saw flexibility issues in girls everywhere.
02:07I saw flex feet everywhere.
02:10I also saw, whether you want to say it or not, I absolutely did see in turns, Rose.
02:14I saw you move this way.
02:16Marissa made a mistake in the front of the routine.
02:18Very visible.
02:20Pretty big mistake.
02:21There were lots of issues.
02:22And I should be able to say those.
02:24The fact that I can't switch people in the formation, even within the front row, without getting talked about is
02:29ridiculous.
02:30If you're in the formation for a 15-time double title defending national champion dance team, and you are playing
02:37a victim, I am really completely over it.
02:41Everyone's been talking all week more than I have about that big switcheroo between me and Marissa.
02:47So I'm really on edge because I just don't know what was said.
02:51And then there's the things behind the scenes that get back to me, like a slumber party.
02:55I've heard right now there's people on this team not even speaking to each other because of that slumber party.
03:01It has to stop.
03:02When you talk , when you are acting negative, bad attitude, questioning my coaching decisions,
03:10your teammate is going to break her neck to run to me with that.
03:14I'm going to say this.
03:15Gabrielle, if you went to the slumber party and you weren't invited, you went there to confront, that was wrong.
03:20Marissa, if when she came there, you reminded her that she had never felt the nationals floor beneath her feet,
03:25that was wrong.
03:26We asked too much of you here for you to let something stupid and frivolous keep you from that crown.
03:35OK, we need to get formation set for tonight.
03:38So we're going to break you up in small groups so we can make some decisions,
03:40and we're going to set the formation and go from there.
03:43All right.
03:44Who the hell told her?
03:47Todd, what happened?
03:48Marissa.
03:48No, I didn't think it was Marissa.
03:50Because he called her Mia and he called her.
03:53I know, but, like, no, I feel like she told, like, to save her own ass.
03:58I got to think about everybody that was at that party and who really has it out for us.
04:03There's been a lot of drama going on, and I don't want that to stand in the way of me
04:08being in this routine.
04:09See, go through it a couple times.
04:11Look how white my armpits are.
04:22For this country routine, it's about entertainment quality.
04:26That's what I'm looking for in that front-center person.
04:29They should be 100% facially committed to the choreography.
04:47I'm looking for myself.
04:49Tonight's dance, why do you think we're doing a novelty style dance that's like a high school camp routine in
04:54a lot of ways?
04:54Why would we be doing this dance?
04:56Show the performance quality.
04:58Correct.
04:58Performance is everything.
05:00We need to see who can connect to the audience.
05:03This is not a routine that we're going to negotiate and coax you to perform.
05:07You're going to have to perform it or it will look silly.
05:11Done well, it will be sassy and fun and sexy.
05:14And you know what?
05:15We're in Louisville, Kentucky.
05:17That's where we're at.
05:18We're in Louisville, Kentucky.
05:19All right?
05:20Now, do I consider us a bunch of boo-boo?
05:22No, I do not.
05:23All right?
05:23A lot of great things come from Louisville, Kentucky.
05:26Muhammad Ali comes from Louisville, Kentucky.
05:30Academy Award winner Jennifer Lawrence comes from Louisville, Kentucky.
05:33And you know what?
05:34The 15-time national champion University of Louisville Ladybirds come from Louisville, Kentucky.
05:40All right?
05:40Flag.
05:41Flag.
05:41Kentucky Fried Chicken.
05:43Yeah, well, we don't want to talk about Kentucky Fried Chicken now, but I like the way you think.
05:49All right.
05:50Ladybirds, we wanted to see that fire.
05:53Did we see it from some of you?
05:55Yes, but not to the level that we need to.
05:57Every time I perform, it's like I'm going for the kill.
06:00Like, not trying to be mean or anything, but I don't really know very many people that could beat me
06:04in that area.
06:05So, like...
06:32I don't like that.
06:32We're going to see it.
06:33But I'll be the catch-ro, the catch-ro, and put it all the time.
06:36So, you know, we've got a little bit of this.
06:41We're going to watch the catch-ro.
06:42Yeah, well, if you're watching at the house, it's one place.
06:42We're going to get a little bit like you can't do it.
06:43And I'm going to get to the catch-ro, how do you want to get out.
06:44We're going to get the catch-ro, where you can't do it.
