00:00...on Sober House.
00:02The situation I got myself in last night was pretty scared.
00:04I just kept drinking and drinking.
00:06I never got high enough.
00:11I can't believe he just said that.
00:18There's a part of me that's scared I'm going to relapse again.
00:22I just heard some f***ing David said I'm not happy about that.
00:25David made Seth so sad that he left the group.
00:30Where the f*** is Seth?
00:32You got it!
00:33Janet!
00:34I got it!
00:36Holy f***!
00:37I'm Tyler.
00:38I'm in my hideout.
00:39A secret location.
00:41Please don't hunt me down.
00:42Oh my God!
00:44How are you?
00:45How are you?
00:46Rehab ends.
00:48The work begins.
00:50You're about to watch...
00:54Recovering Addicts...
00:57...continue their fight...
00:58...outside of treatment...
01:00...without a safety net.
01:02I'm Dr. Drew...
01:04...and this is Sober House.
01:17It's day 14 at 2.30 a.m.
01:20And Seth Binzer appears to have fallen back into his addiction...
01:24...and is currently out of the house, presumably loaded and on a run.
01:28Jen got a call from one of his best friends.
01:32What is he filming?
01:34Seth put a video up on his MySpace page using his phone.
01:38You guys!
01:39Jen!
01:40What?
01:40I got it!
01:43Holy f***!
01:45Hold on, pull over.
01:45I'm looking at myself in the f***ing mirror.
01:48I'm sorry, I love the time.
01:50A certain person just f***ing broke my heart, babe.
01:53Talks mad f***ing.
01:56I had to break out of there.
01:57I was so upset.
02:00I'm hurt.
02:01I'm so sorry, Jen.
02:03I love you.
02:04Andy, I will be okay.
02:06I will be there soon.
02:08Check this out.
02:10I'm in my hideout.
02:11A secret location.
02:13You're not so serious.
02:15That's a lot.
02:16I love you all.
02:22What are we supposed to do?
02:23Hold on, you guys.
02:24Oh, my God.
02:25That's frightening.
02:27It sucks.
02:30Seth is using...
02:32He put a video message up on the Internet.
02:36He ended up drinking, and I don't know what else he's done.
02:40I'm so sorry.
02:40Seth was doing so good today.
02:42He got his heart broken head.
02:46That video I just saw of Seth on the MySpace page
02:49is probably the scariest thing I've ever seen of Seth.
02:51I just hope that we can find him and get him better.
02:54Why don't you stay here and update us what he does,
02:58and we'll start driving down there.
02:59We can't...
03:00I can't leave the house.
03:02Well, then you stay here.
03:03You guys can't go.
03:04A lot of the people that were still up wanted to go and save him,
03:07so it was kind of sad.
03:09And I wanted to go save him,
03:10and then I wanted to leave,
03:12and it's just not safe for the house for me to leave.
03:16I hate you, this is...
03:27Hey, Seth, honey, call me.
03:29It's Jen.
03:29Or text me.
03:30Let me know you're okay.
03:31I love you very, very much, honey.
03:34I kind of heard what happened, and I'm sorry.
03:37F*** that guy.
03:39Whoever said whatever.
03:41Yeah.
03:41Come on back over here, buddy.
03:43Bye.
03:56Oh, he's coming again.
03:58Here he's being on something.
04:00I'll do it.
04:01Hey, Andy.
04:01Hold on, hold on.
04:03What is going on?
04:04He's recording something right now.
04:05That's what you're saying.
04:06He's doing the live feed.
04:07Let's look at the street sign.
04:09He's giving us hints.
04:10Look at that sign.
04:11What does that say right there?
04:12We don't know how we can't do this.
04:13All right, we are chilling.
04:15Check it out.
04:16This s*** is kind of dope over here.
04:18I'm a little drunk, and I don't drink normally.
04:21He's not just drunk,
04:22because he's hiding something in his jacket.
04:24Yeah.
04:25He wasn't in his right mind,
04:27and he was hiding a crack pipe or something.
04:30You know, he's not Napoleon.
04:31Now, I want to tell you why this happens.
04:33You can shoot for the stars, and you can miss.
04:36But if you're going to do it, do it right.
04:38Right?
04:39And as long as I'm alive, I'll be just fine.
04:41See, I got the whole world in my hands.
04:45Anyway.
04:50It's 3.30 in the morning,
04:53and whether he's playing a game or not playing a game,
04:57he can still die.
04:58I want to go, but if anybody goes and sees him,
05:04he'll run.
05:05He'll run into the woods.
05:06You won't get him.
05:08You can't catch me.
05:11He's the gingerbread man.
05:13Hello?
05:15Hi.
05:16I'm not in a position right now to go out searching for Seth.
05:19So the next best thing to do is to call one of the people
05:22that love him the most to go find him.
05:24Here's the deal.
05:25He said, I'm okay, although he's high.
05:28It looks like he has a loft there.
05:30It's like it's his loft.
05:31It's a loft.
05:32It didn't look like a hotel.
05:33Do you know, is that his hangout?
05:34Like, you know what I mean?
05:36It was a dealer's house.
05:37Is that a new one?
05:38Another one just came up.
05:39Wait, okay, wait.
05:40Yeah.
05:40Oh, wait, wait.
05:41Hold on.
05:41I'm trying to click on it.
05:44He's showing us where he's at.
05:46Oh, Runyon Canyon Park.
05:48It says Runyon Canyon Park.
05:50Which would mean that he's over a dollar.
05:52Puller.
05:53Puller.
05:54Look, Runyon Canyon Park.
05:56And one time we sit here,
05:58and what do you mean she's going to do?
06:00Let's enjoy waiting here.
06:01I'll stay on the computer.
06:03I'll stay on the computer.
06:03I can't really go.
06:04Do you want to, like, maybe see if he's there?
06:07Get over there right away.
06:08Okay, call me as you're driving, would you?
06:16Hello?
06:16It's 4.08 a.m.
06:18Dude, I've been all around Hollywood looking for this.
06:20Dude, I went to the Aft Hours.
06:21I was there looking for him.
06:22I was some Fico looking for him.
06:24I've been all night.
06:26Oh, my God.
06:26What?
06:27I think there's a video.
06:28Wait.
06:29Oh, there's a new live video coming in right now.
06:31Make another one.
06:34Greetings, Earthlings.
06:36What's happening?
06:36This is the problem with drugs.
06:40This is just all about school searching,
06:42and I really never want to do this again.
06:44If you guys go to the corner of Figueroa and Wilshire,
06:48I will give you further information.
06:51Sure.
06:52Keep it real.
07:00You probably went to Runyon, met somebody, got what he needed,
07:05and now he's just gone.
07:07He's done making this video.
07:08He said to go to Wilshire and Figueroa, and that we would know more.
07:13You bet in Hollywood, where'd that happen?
07:15Wilshire and Figueroa is downtown.
07:17This is like a goose chase.
07:20First, I get upset and concerned, but then I get angry.
07:25Like, just, you know, just don't send us these cryptic messages.
07:31He's just playing around.
07:33Hopefully.
07:35Hopefully he's playing around.
07:37But see, I wouldn't call them.
07:43I wouldn't try to upset them.
08:03How are you doing?
08:04It's been a long night.
08:05Yeah.
08:12You want a little hug, yeah?
08:15Last night was a real late night, and Seth's still not home yet.
08:19I know that all the residents are struggling with his relapse.
08:33Seth got some Sharpies and decorated a little thing that says the sober house,
08:37and then when he didn't come home after a day, I started writing a little thing.
08:51He was my roommate, you know, and then I slept alone, and I slept with the door open.
08:57And then I would wake up at night and look up and see if he was back.
09:01That's the worst part about being an alcoholic.
09:04What we're doing to the people who love us.
09:07He addresses everybody in the house, and to me, he just said,
09:12Andy, I'm okay.
09:20I know that's what I always say.
09:23When I'm not okay.
09:29We are birds of a feather, cut from the same cloth, Seth and I.
09:33So, I see it real clear, the pain that it causes other people.
09:40I can't believe I do that to people.
09:49It's just so, it makes me mad at myself.
09:53You know, of course, I just hope he's okay.
10:02It's 12 p.m., and there's still no sign of Seth.
10:06I'm hoping that the rest of the residents can cope with his disappearance.
10:11Well, I don't want him to be missing for two or three days.
10:15It's just so...
10:19...sad.
10:24The only way that I knew how to deal with it before was to go with you.
10:27Yeah, me too.
10:30How do you not feel it?
10:32You know?
10:33But part of me last night wanted to just be with him.
10:36Yeah.
10:39David said something more for her about everybody.
10:45What was said about him?
10:46No.
10:47Yeah.
10:48That we're all losers and has-beens.
10:52David called us all has-beens and losers.
10:55Seth is really the only one that took it personally.
10:58You know, if this is the life of a has-been, I'll take it.
11:02I mean, look.
11:05It's been 12 hours since we heard from Seth.
11:08We were out getting groceries for the house when Mary decided to call her girlfriend, Jessica James.
11:16Hey, Jessica.
11:18What's up?
11:19Have you heard from Seth at all?
11:20Yeah.
11:21You got to hear it.
11:23Wait, you guys.
11:24Seth was over to Jessica James' house this morning.
11:26I had a feeling he'd come see you five hours ago.
11:28He came over your house and he was drunk.
11:31He got up.
11:43Around two in the afternoon.
11:45You know, because we were just trying to figure out how much crack he did and how much other drugs
11:49he mixed with it.
11:50So, you know, did he take the Xanice with the crack, though?
11:56Yeah.
11:59That's not good at all.
12:02That's called recipe for death.
12:15Heroin, crack, Xanax.
12:16Do you know if he did ecstasy, too?
12:23Six pills of ecstasy, crack, heroin, Xanax, and alcohol.
12:27Wow.
12:31He took all her Xanics.
12:36He jacked them all.
12:38He stole all her Xanics.
12:39There was 300 pills.
12:40She had 300 Xanics.
12:42Oh, my God.
12:43He stole them from her house.
12:45Oh, my God.
12:46We need to find him, you guys.
12:48We decided we had to go over there because we were hoping that even though he might not have been
12:52there at that moment,
12:53that maybe he'd come back there or maybe that she was lying and he was there.
12:58I was really hesitant about going to Jessica James' house.
13:01So I decided to call Will and ask him to come give us some support and some help just in
13:06case something bad happened.
13:09Jessica, JJ, JJ, JJ, Jess.
13:19Oh, my God.
13:21Where'd Seth go?
13:22Where'd Seth go?
13:23Where'd Seth go?
13:29What time did he leave?
13:30He left my son last night.
13:31What happened?
13:32If somebody hit you, you got to black out.
13:36Hi.
13:38I'm Jennifer.
13:39What time did he leave, Jess?
13:41Do you know?
13:42We're trying to find him.
13:43Trust me.
13:44Doctor, like, seven.
13:47Seven?
13:47Was he gone completely?
13:49Yeah.
13:50What was he on?
13:51No, I mean, gone.
13:53Gone.
13:53What was he on?
13:54Mentally gone.
13:56Did he hurt you?
13:57No.
13:57He didn't hurt me.
13:58What did he, uh, what did he, did he, what did he take?
14:01Some ice for you.
14:02What did he, what's he on?
14:03Did he take your Xanax?
14:05What happened, baby?
14:06Jess.
14:07What happened, baby?
14:08Jess, what happened?
14:08Who hit you?
14:09No, you.
14:10No, leave.
14:10Did you fall?
14:11You did it, baby.
14:12No, I didn't fall, honey.
14:14I just fall.
14:16Jess.
14:16Oh, God, no.
14:18Jess, Jess, what happened to you?
14:20Oh, my God, Jess, I'm really worried.
14:24Jessica, I'm worried about you.
14:26Don't worry at me.
14:28Jessica, I'm worried about you.
14:29Don't worry at me.
14:31Jessica, I am.
14:32Baby, I just got the road.
14:33Are you kidding me?
14:34Jessica, I'm worried about you.
14:36Jessica.
14:37Don't make him mad.
14:40Jessica.
14:43Jessica.
14:44Don't make him mad.
14:46I'm worried about you, too, now.
14:53You should come to, you should go to rehab.
14:56Jessica.
14:58Well, thanks, Claire.
14:59I did it.
15:00We made it out to this porn star's condo, and I guess she had been with Seth, but he wasn't
15:08there.
15:09We're sorry.
15:10I know.
15:11We're sorry.
15:11We really are.
15:12We're invading your privacy.
15:15We're just looking for our friend.
15:19When you do, like, locate somebody and he is there.
15:22Jessica, just put my glasses on.
15:25Jessica looked like she was definitely under the influence of a lot of different drugs.
15:32I can only imagine what Seth might look like.
15:35Do you want to go into treatment right now, honey?
15:38Do you think you need some help?
15:40No.
15:40No, okay.
15:41You just woke me up.
15:43I'm just like, hey.
15:45I know.
15:45I just, I suffer from alcoholism and drug addiction.
15:48You know I do, too.
15:49And I just wanted to know if you feel like you might have a problem, and if you do, I
15:52can
15:53No, I don't.
15:54Okay.
15:55I'm not accusing you.
15:55I'm just waking up.
15:57Yeah.
15:57I'm not accusing you, sweetie.
15:58I'm just asking.
16:00I love my Jessica.
16:01I didn't have a problem, either.
16:04No.
16:04You sure you don't want to go to rehab, James?
16:08I don't need to.
16:09You sure?
16:10You know, I went to get off Xanax.
16:12I've been Xanax-free now.
16:14No, I'm good.
16:16Okay.
16:17I'm worried that Seth might die.
16:19Knowing that he has his hands on 300 Xanax pills, the combination of cocaine, which is
16:24an upper, with downers, which is, you know, Xanax, that could shut your heart down.
16:29So, right now, I'm just worried about Seth dying.
16:32Oh, my God.
16:34She needs help.
16:35Jen, she needs help.
16:44Coming up, where did they...
16:49The whole house has been absolutely spinning since Seth's relapse, so much so that some
16:54of them even went out looking for him.
16:56It's going to be essential to their recovery to detach from this situation and refocus on
17:02their own treatment.
17:03You okay?
17:04I am.
17:05Just tired?
17:05I'm tired.
17:06Yeah.
17:06I'm so tired.
17:07Have you been up all night?
17:08I was so worried about Seth.
17:10It is not your bed.
17:11Go to bed.
17:13Seth will do what Seth's going to do.
17:15And if it makes you tired and stressed and worried, you're more likely to join him.
17:20Maybe it was a drama.
17:22Maybe it was a drama.
17:22Maybe it was something that...
17:22Maybe you're doing all that.
17:23Yeah.
17:24I was having fun going to Jessica's and hoping to find him.
17:28It was...
17:29Yeah, but it wasn't fun seeing Jessica.
17:31Yeah, seeing Jessica was very sad.
17:34Maybe that was a positive that came out of it.
17:35Yeah, to me that's the only positive that came out of it.
17:37That was scary.
17:37You hope you get a cautionary tale.
17:38She reminded me of me, and that scared the shit out of me.
17:42It's very good.
17:43To me, that was the good thing that came out of me.
17:45But the concoction he's on sounds scary.
17:47It is scary.
17:48He may die.
17:48But Xanax...
17:49He may die.
17:50Nothing we can do about it.
17:52Supposedly, he did a concoction of what?
17:54Heroin, cocaine, Xanax, alcohol, and ecstasy.
17:57That's crazy.
17:58That's crazy.
17:59Like, I get chills.
18:01Alcohol and Xanax can kill you.
18:03Seth is a polysubstance abuser, and he's just been doing it for years.
18:08But one day, something wrong's going to happen, and he's going to stop breathing.
18:11Right.
18:12Right.
18:12That's going to...
18:13Or he's going to get run over by a car or whatever.
18:14Or fall off a bridge or something like that.
18:17Listen, this thing is deadly.
18:18This thing...
18:18We put our patience in the ground all the time.
18:23Look at our culture, too.
18:24Not just do you celebrate art and comedy and music, but the people who die tragically doing
18:31those things are more celebrated than the ones who don't.
18:34I wonder if that's in Seth's mind.
18:36So I think there is always...
18:38These guys that I treat like Seth, there's always a little bit of the, I'm going to be James
18:41Dean.
18:41Well, especially when people are telling him that he's a has-been.
18:44And a loser.
18:46It would be in my mind like, oh, I can take all these drugs and I can be famous again.
18:51Nikki's touching right on it.
18:52If you die, like it's almost a career choice.
18:56So fame is worth dying for.
18:59Sometimes.
19:00Sometimes.
19:01It's something I wanted more than anything.
19:03And I got it.
19:04Did you?
19:05And then I lost it and I wanted to kill myself.
19:08Rodney hates fame.
19:10Rodney wished it not happened to him.
19:11He got the wrong kind of fame.
19:13Well, Rodney is like part of history.
19:16When we're all gone and the history books are written, they will talk about this guy named
19:20Rodney King.
19:21Yeah.
19:22That's what's going to happen.
19:23It's incredible.
19:23He doesn't just, his facial expression when he said that is like, I don't want that.
19:28Not me, man.
19:33I have to say it.
19:37I was thinking about the cops chasing you because I know you now and I can't imagine
19:43when it happened and when I saw it on the news, it was the most disturbing, gut-wrenching
19:49thing, maybe top five things I've ever seen or heard of.
19:54All the psychology in the world, all the attunement that I can offer you guys and relationship
20:00building and all the stuff that we do in treatment doesn't mean when you get to this point.
20:06And this point for, I think, just about all of you right now is, hey, are you going to
20:09do this or are you not going to do this?
20:12Doing it is something brand new and scary and uncomfortable.
20:16However, it's remarkably simple.
20:18All you got to do is not use right now and follow direction.
20:22That's all you got to do.
20:25And that's it.
20:26It's very, very simple.
20:26Okay?
20:27All right.
20:27All right, guys.
20:28Off we go.
20:28There you go, kid.
20:32Clearly, the incident that occurred with the LAPD still plays a major role in Rodney's
20:37addiction.
20:38Although I was able to make some headway with him during his stay at the Pasadena Recovery
20:42Center.
20:42Bam.
20:43Uh, Coon hit me with the taser and, uh, and then he said, we're going to kill you.
20:49Right.
20:50I suspect that the only way for him to really start healing would be to revisit the site
20:55of the beating and hopefully finally get closure.
21:03It started from where?
21:04Where did they start chasing you?
21:06Right in here.
21:07Um, I was going down this way, speed, and that was speed, going through there.
21:11Because there was nobody on the road, I thought.
21:13And I think I was at the, pretty much at the bottom of the hill, and I could see the
21:18lights
21:18in the rearview mirror.
21:20You know, I had a pretty big lead on them, so I thought maybe I could, you know, get away.
21:26Were you drunk?
21:27I had been drinking, and, uh, I was feeling the buzz.
21:30You just, like, deliberately, like, I'm going to get out of here.
21:32I've got to get away.
21:33I've got to get away.
21:34I can.
21:34I'm not going to take this ass beating that, because I know.
21:36I've watched my dad go through it too many times.
21:40At this point, they were so far back there, you know, I knew, uh, I knew I could get away.
21:46Here you are.
21:46Did you slow down?
21:47You still going 110?
21:48No, I'm, I'm slowing down at this point.
21:50I'm at, just trying to, just trying to slow down so I can make that turn.
21:53Do you have any feelings?
21:54See you at all this right now?
21:55Yeah.
21:56Yeah, it, it, it, it brings back a lot of, you know, feelings that night.
22:03See that telephone pole right here where it says 45 miles an hour?
22:06Yep.
22:08That's where I stopped at, right around here.
22:10You stopped right here?
22:10Yeah, exactly right here.
22:13And, um, that's the balcony right there.
22:18Take me to the spot.
22:22So, yeah, you get chills coming up here.
22:27Really?
22:28Yeah.
22:29Yeah.
22:32You hear this sound at the same time?
22:34Yeah, same, same, the helicopter.
22:36And the helicopter and all that was, and the helicopter, it had the, it had the area lit
22:42up real, real good, you know?
22:44My helicopter.
22:44Yeah.
22:45Yeah, yeah.
22:45Thank goodness.
22:47This guy here, from his balcony, he was able to pick, pick it up.
22:54Well, we came here with an offering for this spot.
22:57Yeah.
22:58Do you want to, uh, tell me what you'd like to do here?
23:00I wanted to read a little, uh, forgiveness letter, you know?
23:04Let the, uh, police officers know that, uh, and other people, you know, that's struggling
23:09to forgive people.
23:11You forgive those guys?
23:12I forgive them.
23:13I haven't forgot.
23:14Don't forget.
23:15I don't want anyone to forget.
23:16There's a difference between forgiving and forgetting.
23:18Uh-huh.
23:18You forgive all those guys?
23:19Yeah, I do.
23:20I wrote a little letter, you know, to get some things off my chest so I can, you know,
23:26finally just, so I can breathe, you know, get this lump out of my chest, you know, after
23:29all these years and stuff.
23:31You know, I'm older now, and it'll stress you out, cause you to do stupid things, you
23:36know?
23:36Um, it's one of the things, it's a lot of drinking.
23:40This is the first time I ever did something like this, and I just thought it would feel good
23:44to do it.
23:45And, um, I'm going to read it.
23:47You know, this letter is to thank God for another day of life, and to let some things
23:54that's been bothering me go, so I can go on with my life.
23:58I need to forgive the officers who beat me the way that they did, because being angry
24:05with them is not helping me, which is not.
24:09The police officers that did that to me must have personal problems, and all I can do is
24:15forgive them, and put them in my prayers.
24:20For some of us who believe in God, you know, um, I just think it just works out better for
24:25me, you know, when I, you know, pray for, pray for the other person, you know?
24:28You feel bad about it.
24:30Yeah.
24:30Your hate.
24:31Yeah, because it helps me out mentally.
24:34And, uh, I brought some flowers here, and I brought a Bible with them, you know?
24:39And, uh, you know, I'd like to leave this field today.
24:43In memories of 56 people who died in the riots, and, you know, in 92, you know, and just,
24:50you know, pray for world peace, period, you know?
24:53It's not just that day, but just a lot of things.
24:57And so I'm going to, uh, I want to leave this here at this spot.
25:00Nice.
25:00Like that there.
25:01I like that.
25:02So my hope, Rodney, is that by leaving this behind, letting go of resentment, you can walk
25:07away from here and really leave this behind, find forgiveness.
25:12It just, it just feels so much better to forgive than to go around with a chip on your shoulder,
25:16and it takes more energy to hate than what it does to do.
25:19And I can tell you, resentments make alcohol a drink.
25:21And that's what I do.
25:22I try to, you know, leave the resentment behind, because I'm really, you know, lucky
25:27to be alive these days.
25:28And, uh, it took this many years to have somebody, you know, really give me some closure.
25:33I think the idea of praying for these guys, or praying for yourself, or praying for relief
25:38of the resentment is the way to go forward and leave it all here.
25:42Know that you've been here, you left an offering, you're offering forgiveness, and you want to
25:46move forward.
25:48You're an inspiration to people.
25:49Do you know that?
25:50So, all right, let's go.
25:56My sincerest hope is that Rodney is able to finally come to terms and truly find peace
26:01with a very unfortunate and horrible event that catapulted him reluctantly into the history
26:07books.
26:09Perhaps he will come to see that at least in part, this awful experience was part of the
26:15carnage that comes with the disease of addiction.
26:25coming up.
26:27It's...
26:33Hello?
26:35Seth?
26:36After two days of trying to locate Seth, he finally called me.
26:42Where are you, so I can pick you up?
26:47Oh my God, are you kidding me?
26:51What do you want me to do?
26:53Do you want me to go get you?
26:54I don't want anyone to pick me up.
26:56I understand that.
26:57Okay.
26:57Seth, I understand.
26:58Okay.
26:59Seth, I understand.
27:00Are you sure you don't want me to come get you?
27:02Please let me come get you, and I'll take you there, and then you can deal with it.
27:05They have vouchers for a taxi.
27:06I don't want you to just take a taxi there.
27:09I'm trying to help you, babe.
27:10I'm really trying to help.
27:11I'm just walking up.
27:12Don't...
27:13Wait, what?
27:15Who?
27:16What?
27:17Hello?
27:21Hello?
27:24Seth has been in the hospital.
27:25He now wants to leave, but he wants to leave on his terms and go to Los Encinas, but he
27:29wants
27:29to go see his friend Felix first and talk to him.
27:31I'm just concerned if he leaves, that he goes and scores or whatever that he does, and then
27:37decides to go in.
27:38It's like he was just in the hospital.
27:39It's not so pretty.
27:41I care about him, and I really want Seth well.
27:44It's just that...
27:48I don't know if he's really wanting to get well.
27:52I'm Cline's best friend.
27:56Hello?
27:56Tyree?
27:57I talked to Seth, and he doesn't want to be picked up, but he wants to get in a cab
28:01and
28:01go to see Felix and then to Los Encinas.
28:05He's, like, really hurt, and he wanted to punch people out, and he's like, I'm gonna get
28:08violent.
28:08I don't want to get violent, Jen.
28:09And he's short-tempered.
28:10And I told him, dude, I'll take you to Felix, and then we'll all take you to Los Encinas.
28:20Could you pick me up, maybe, if I needed you to, and then we'll go together?
28:25Yes.
28:40Oh, yeah.
28:41Hi, guys.
28:41I have Seth on the phone right now.
28:43Would he freak if he knows if you're with me?
28:44No, no, no.
28:45Seth?
28:48No.
28:48I want to come get you, and I want to come get you with two of your best friends.
28:52I have them with me.
28:54Can I put them on speaker?
28:55Okay.
28:56It's Tyree and Black.
29:00Yeah, they just came to the door.
29:02They just came to get me, because I want to go help you.
29:09Hey, you know we got your best interest, man.
29:11Just all we want to do.
29:14Seth's tone was very adamant, very controlling, and it's my way or no way.
29:17And if you don't do what he says, then he wants nothing of you.
29:21Get away.
29:21Go away from him.
29:22All right, but how long is it going to be for now?
29:24Like 20 to 30 minutes.
29:27All right, hurry up.
29:28All right.
29:33He's hurting, man.
29:35Yeah, it's real hard what he's going through right now.
29:37I know.
29:38I know.
29:39Especially when you hit that last part.
29:41He calls me when he's at bottom.
29:43Uh-huh.
29:44Every time.
29:44That's the thing.
29:45When it's all over.
29:46When it's all over, you guys are right there.
29:47And he wants me to take him somewhere.
29:49There it is.
29:49Ring.
29:50Hey, I don't mess up.
29:51I relapsed.
29:52I'm over here.
29:53Could you please come get me?
29:54Does he get like that?
29:55Very authoritative?
29:56Yeah.
29:56And you know what?
29:57I listen.
29:58Because when you listen, you can understand him.
30:01So I listen to everything he asks of.
30:03Because if he, if you do one thing to the left of what he's asking, he's out of here.
30:13Here he comes.
30:20Actually, he's going to.
30:21There he goes.
30:22There he goes.
30:22He's coming.
30:23He's coming.
30:25Oh, my God.
30:25Did you just see that?
30:27Seth just ran out and jumped right over the wall with what's his name and they ran down.
30:35I got to the hospital today and we saw each other for a second and he jumped over the
30:41wall.
30:42Somebody was waiting for him, that person with a car.
30:47From having a heart attack and hospitalization, he went on another run.
30:50We don't know right now where Seth is.
30:53So it's really dark right now.
30:57He's on the street having a cardiac arrest and then now he's scoring.
31:00It's not Seth.
31:01It's the disease.
31:03Seth is not running nothing right now.
31:05No, you're right.
31:05That disease is running him and it's telling him to be afraid of cameras.
31:09It's telling him not to do certain things that he's supposed to do.
31:12And that's what diseases do.
31:14It takes you out of your ordinary conscience and puts you somewhere where you're not even
31:17you.
31:18But the reality is that he's hurting right now at this moment and we can't do nothing.
31:23I know.
31:32Are you saying because he just had that cardiac arrest?
31:36Yes.
31:37We don't know nothing right now.
31:38We don't know nothing's alive.
31:39The reality is coming.
31:41The more you talk about the reality of us not knowing where he's at, that's what's setting
31:45in on me and that's what's starting to hurt.
31:51I just want him back.
31:54So.
31:57It's really hard to watch people who really love somebody and like how they have to deal
32:01with the consequences of somebody in this disease.
32:04I hope this is a wake up call man.
32:06He had a cardiac arrest.
32:07Like that's serious.
32:11Coming up.
32:12I got a call.
32:19Hi everyone.
32:20How are you?
32:21Yeah.
32:21Hey guys, let's talk.
32:24Nikki.
32:26I'm just giving you an update.
32:28I don't need to talk about it.
32:28I'm just going to tell you what's up.
32:30Um, I, I'm here to talk to you guys about, uh, earlier this morning, uh, I got a call
32:36from Seth.
32:38He just is really hurt.
32:39He was really sad and he was really angry the other night about what happened.
32:43Uh, he ended up using, obviously.
32:46And, uh, he had a lot of Xanax and all that stuff.
32:49Yeah, that 300 Xanax stuff.
32:51Well, if he took too many Xanax, you could die.
32:53He was in the hospital.
32:58So, sometime between 9 p.m. last night and early morning, he, uh, had a cardiac arrest.
33:03What?
33:04Oh my God.
33:05I called Tyreen and I called, um, Black.
33:08By the time he drove in, he already checked himself out.
33:11So when he saw us coming in, he automatically freaked out.
33:15Why didn't you tackle him and bring him in the car?
33:17And he's fast.
33:18Yeah, he's fast.
33:19He's super fast.
33:21He bounces, he climbs, he jumps, he jumps, he leaps, and, like, he was, like, sideways
33:25leaping and he had a car standing by.
33:28So who did he get in the car?
33:29A drug dealer or something?
33:31He went on another run.
33:32He just suffered 12 hours ago.
33:37He's on a run and now his friends are tripping because they don't know if he's alive or dead.
33:41Oh my God.
33:42This is a car.
33:43He's on a run.
33:44We can't find him.
33:45We don't know where he's at.
33:47He doesn't have any kind of phone or anything.
33:49Wow.
33:49Does he want to die or something?
33:52Sounds like it.
33:53He's got so much more waiting for him.
33:56But maybe he doesn't think that.
33:58Maybe he thinks that he's hit his prime and that he's going to go out and, you know, like
34:05a psycho magician.
34:08And, you know, when you're out of your...
34:09Do you think he's trying to kill himself?
34:10Well, he's going to, whether he's trying or not.
34:14Part of me says he's going to be okay.
34:16I'm going to see his shining, happy, beautiful face again.
34:20But the other part of me says he's just going to be dead within days.
34:24Why don't I make it back to you?
34:26He may not.
34:27He may not.
34:29And...
34:30He may not.
34:33Coming up.
34:34Just got word.
34:35We know we're...
34:41It's been three days since Seth's disappearance.
34:50It's been three days since Seth.
35:18For granted, I'm a pug!
35:19Thank you for that.
35:43Thank you for that.
