00:16I was driving and my car hit the divider.
00:20I'm just lucky to be alive.
00:24With the quadruplets, it was like my whole entire body was pregnant.
00:29And I knew that there is no coming back from this.
00:33The scars make me feel like a legitimate monster.
00:38I'm so ready to bring back the old me and have self-confidence again.
00:43I look in the mirror, I now see myself and I see an extremely bright future.
00:51There's a revolution happening in the world of beauty.
00:55Skin procedures and plastic surgery doesn't have to mean changing who you are.
00:59It's about becoming the best version of yourself.
01:02I'm Dr. Sheila Nazarian, a board-certified plastic surgeon.
01:06My philosophy is to deliver natural results to men and women to give them their confidence back.
01:12But cosmetic procedures are no longer limited to going under the knife.
01:17I'm Nurse Jamie, one of the world's top beauty and skin experts.
01:21The reason I've gained and maintained so many celebrity clients is because I'm able to achieve amazing results without ever
01:30picking up a scalpel.
01:33Whether it's surgical or not, our goal is for people to look in the mirror and feel good in their
01:39own skin.
01:50I haven't taken a photo in seven years.
01:54I just don't like showing my face too much.
01:58It's largely due to the scars that I have on my face.
02:06My name is Nicholas.
02:08I'm from Los Angeles, California, and I'm in the transportation industry.
02:12When I look in the mirror, I see someone who has overcame a lot of adversity and is extremely strong.
02:18I would describe myself as inquisitive and highly ambitious.
02:24I was the only person in my family to attend college.
02:28I always had compliments on my looks.
02:31I was on top of the world.
02:33Job, school, just everything is just going perfect.
02:39I was driving down the freeway at nine at night.
02:44And my car hit a pothole.
02:46I couldn't turn or brake.
02:48It hit the divider at 75 plus miles per hour.
02:52And my car flipped about three or four times.
02:57My car was a legitimate pancake.
03:00I'm just lucky to be alive.
03:03The accident caused me to have severe lacerations all over my body and specifically my head.
03:09My recovery was seven months and it was extremely painful physically and mentally.
03:16Once the head guys came off, my scars were very prominent.
03:21When I re-entered the world, I noticed that the way that people treated me was different.
03:27No matter how I dressed, no matter how I behaved, no matter what I was doing,
03:32it was almost like a scared feeling, almost as if I was going to hurt them.
03:38They say I look intimidating, like, do you sell drugs or like, you in gangs?
03:43And they legitimately treated me as if I was a criminal just because I'm black with scars on my face.
03:50My whole life, I've been trying to battle and fight that stigma that comes with being African-American.
04:00That is what changed me.
04:02I became withdrawn and less sociable.
04:18The scars make me feel like a legitimate monster.
04:25I've always believed that my path was to do something for people and promote love.
04:30I'm not trying to change who I am.
04:33I just want what I naturally am to show.
04:35Getting rid of the scars that mean the world to me is unlocking the potential that I feel I already
04:42have.
04:50Hello.
04:52Hello.
04:53Hi.
04:53How are you?
04:54We're huggers.
04:54We're huggers.
04:55I know.
04:55Hi.
04:57Nice to meet you.
04:58Welcome.
04:59Tell us a little bit about you.
05:01I'm Nicholas Bravo.
05:02Graduated with my degree in psychology.
05:04And I'm just an entrepreneur.
05:07Amazing.
05:07So, what kind of businesses are you building?
05:09So right now I'm focused on something
05:11in the transportation industry.
05:13So tell us a little bit about your story.
05:14Why are you here?
05:15Yeah, so I got into a really, really bad car accident.
05:19Almost lost my life.
05:21After the accident, I was left with scars.
05:24A lot of them on my forehead here.
05:27Mm-hmm.
05:27The corner right here in between my eyebrows.
05:31Then above my eyelid, my left eyelid here.
05:34I was lucky that it healed a certain way,
05:37but I literally could see the difference
05:40after the accident.
05:42People just didn't want to be around me
05:43almost like I had leprosy or something.
05:45You could tell they had instantly had questions
05:48and dealing with that every single time
05:52you step out of the house for seven years
05:54is very, very traumatizing.
05:56It changes you on many levels.
05:58My whole life, I've always been confident,
06:00but after like two years,
06:02I began to become insecure about the scars.
06:06There was jobs that I applied for.
06:09Mm-hmm.
06:09Dating, of course, that was different.
06:12I've had people tell me,
06:14like, I just look gangster, thuggish, dangerous,
06:18all these different types of things.
06:19That's just not who you are.
06:21No, not at all.
06:22So it's just really distracting
06:24to what I'm trying to portray
06:26and what I'm trying to do with my future,
06:28especially at a startup company.
06:30I just look less trustworthy.
06:32Unfortunately, we live in a world
06:34where the reality is what you said.
06:37Facial scars are associated with being hard,
06:39and we just, we need to take that away.
06:42You couldn't be further from that?
06:44Well, Jamie and I are going to put our heads together,
06:46and really, we want to help you
06:49because you're so inspiring,
06:51and honestly, there's no reason for these scars
06:53to get in the way of your life
06:55and your success and your confidence
06:57for, like, one more second.
06:58So we're going to get some scans done.
07:00We'll put our heads together
07:01and see what's really going to be
07:03the best treatment for you.
07:05Careful.
07:18Oh, my God.
07:19How handsome is this young man?
07:21He's beautiful.
07:22I, I really want him.
07:24Hashtag inspired, okay?
07:26Here we are.
07:27Okay, what makes me go to crazy town is this.
07:31He looks, like, angry, right?
07:35Mm-hmm.
07:35And it's this line right here.
07:37But if I take this pigmentation away...
07:40The space between his brow
07:41is going to be a little bit longer.
07:43Mm-hmm.
07:43Here's the plan for Nicholas.
07:45I want to start by softening his brow line
07:47by giving him cortisone injections.
07:50Cortisone is often used
07:51to reduce inflammation in the body.
07:53It can also be injected locally
07:55to break down scar tissue
07:57and hypertrophic scars
07:58like the ones above Nicholas's brow.
08:01And then I'll be using a series of lasers
08:03to resurface and soften that area.
08:05Once I finish balancing out
08:07the structure of the brow,
08:08then we're going to work
08:09on restoring the actual eyebrows
08:11with some cosmetic tattooing.
08:14So would you do a little bit of filler
08:16under his eyes?
08:17I definitely would.
08:18I just want to talk to him
08:20and feel it out
08:20because you can see
08:21he has more lipoatrophy on this side.
08:23So I could add a little bit more filler.
08:26I could add a little bit of filler here and here.
08:28He just didn't mention any of that.
08:30Certain things, especially men,
08:31they just don't know it exists.
08:33So if you tell them,
08:34listen, I'm just going to throw this out there.
08:36I'm giving you all of the possibilities.
08:38So I think anything that we can do
08:40to really make him look refreshed,
08:43powerful, confident,
08:45all of those, healthy.
08:46Yeah.
08:47Next, we'll be restoring the volume
08:49with some filler
08:50and then improving the overall skin texture
08:52with a technique called microdosing.
08:55But this is the guy that I really think
08:57just throws the look of the face off
08:59because he has these great eyes
09:01and this just distracts.
09:02I think that's a great plan.
09:03Nicholas is such a handsome guy.
09:05I don't think surgery is going to be worth it for him.
09:09I totally think Nurse Jamie can take him on
09:12and just get his confidence back.
09:14Hi.
09:15Hi.
09:15Welcome back.
09:17Welcome back.
09:18Yeah, yeah, yeah.
09:21We are so excited to share a plan with you.
09:24Awesome, awesome.
09:26Talk to me.
09:27So I have a laser extravaganza planned for you.
09:32Okay.
09:33Okay, so don't panic.
09:34Let me show you in the mirror what I'm talking about.
09:36Okay.
09:37The thing that stands out to me the most
09:39is this scar right here
09:41and this one on your nose.
09:42So after we take some cortisone
09:45and kind of lower this
09:46where the trajectory is off,
09:48it's protruding too much,
09:50then it's this discoloration,
09:51this pigmentation that you have here and here
09:54that I want to remove.
09:55So I'm just going to put a little bit of cortisone in there.
09:58We'll probably do some microneedling.
09:59The other thing is where they approximated this wound
10:02where they sewed you up.
10:03You've lost some of your eyebrow there.
10:05I have a girl in my office
10:06that can do cosmetic tattooing.
10:09What it's going to do
10:09is kind of just trick the eye
10:12into completing this brow.
10:14So you have a little bit of loss of fat here.
10:17So since I'm going to be in there
10:18and doing stuff,
10:19if you want to,
10:21I can do some filler.
10:24Have you ever heard,
10:25you've heard of filler?
10:26Yeah, I've heard of it.
10:27People think that filler
10:29is just used to like make big lips
10:32and like crazy women
10:33walking around the streets.
10:34But really think of filler more
10:36as like putting things back
10:37where they used to be
10:39rather than cosmetic.
10:42It's just going to complete the look
10:43because your eyes underneath it
10:45just looks a little tired
10:47even when you're not.
10:48And I don't think you're...
10:49Are you wearing any sunscreen?
10:50I was always told
10:51that black people
10:52don't need sunscreen.
10:53What?
10:54Yeah.
10:54Everyone needs sunscreen.
10:55I know, we're about to like,
10:56oh!
10:57No, yeah.
10:58No, yeah.
10:59I mean, you're less likely
11:00to get skin cancer,
11:02but absolutely you need
11:03to protect your skin.
11:05Just so you know,
11:05the reason why your scars
11:07healed so dark
11:08is because you got sun on them.
11:10Whenever your skin's pink,
11:11it's susceptible to the sun.
11:13We call pink scars immature.
11:14As long as your scar is immature,
11:16you get sun on it,
11:18it's going to heal darker
11:18than your normal skin.
11:20Our goal is to get you
11:22taking more photos of yourself
11:24because we see a beautiful man.
11:28We don't want these scars
11:29to represent you anymore.
11:35I love my job.
11:36It's so powerful
11:38when I can help
11:39to wipe away trauma and scars
11:41and build people back up again.
11:43That's what I hope to do for Nicholas.
11:46Hey, Nicholas.
11:47How are you doing?
11:49Oh, fantastic.
11:49The first thing I'm going to do
11:51is I'm probably going to have
11:52to do some cortisone injections.
11:54Then we're going to do
11:55some dermal fillers
11:56just to restore some volume.
11:58Then we'll do a little bit of infrared
12:00just to kind of heal the area.
12:02All right, here it goes.
12:04All right, here in the center.
12:06For Nicholas,
12:07I'm going to use steroid injections,
12:08not the kind that makes you bop,
12:10the kind that's used
12:11to break down scar tissue.
12:15Oh, man, oh, man.
12:16You've got a lot of scar tissue here.
12:18When I really start poking around,
12:20it's going to take more than one time,
12:21but it's going to be better.
12:23So you have some fat loss
12:26from where this stuff has happened.
12:28It does make the right side of the face
12:30a little bit more hollow.
12:31I'm just going to kind of
12:32restore a few things.
12:35Because of the accident,
12:36Nicholas has lost a lot of volume
12:38on one side of his face.
12:41So I'm going to use filler
12:43to restore that volume.
12:47I'm really good at filler.
12:48I mean, I'm like the best
12:50in the world at filler.
12:52Two more tiny pugs close to the eye.
12:54Basically, I got into this field
12:56because I wanted to get my lips done,
12:58and I was a young woman with no money.
13:00I work for a group of derm
13:01and plastic surgeons,
13:02and I just, I loved it.
13:05And I had a knack for it,
13:06and it just kind of,
13:07I never left it.
13:12All right, so you're going
13:13to sense a bright light.
13:14I just went to town
13:15on Nicholas's face,
13:16so I'm going to use
13:17LED light therapy.
13:18I can't tell you
13:19how cool this machine is.
13:21It was originally created by NASA,
13:23developed for plant growth experiments
13:25on space shuttle missions.
13:27It has since been proven
13:28to help inflammation in the body,
13:30reduce pain,
13:30and produce collagen,
13:31which is really good
13:32to calm down the skin
13:34and help the healing process.
13:36Take a peek.
13:37It's not done, not done,
13:38but you see,
13:39like, minus this,
13:40the swelling's still there,
13:41and this is swollen.
13:42So I'm going to be sending
13:43Nicholas home
13:44with some skin care.
13:45The thing about
13:46a lot of my male clients
13:47is they're typically oblivious
13:49to the need for skin care.
13:50You're a magician.
13:51Wow.
13:52It's starting to look good.
13:54It's starting to restore.
13:56My face healed up,
13:58like, after three days.
13:59I didn't notice a change
14:00from too many people,
14:02but what I did notice
14:03was a change
14:04with my,
14:05surprisingly,
14:06with my confidence.
14:08Let's get it.
14:15Don't be sorry,
14:16so I'm marching.
14:17Let's go home.
14:19You don't want to go home
14:20and get a snack?
14:21Good walking, Jax.
14:23My name is Michelle Zamora,
14:25and I am a mother
14:27to five beautiful children.
14:32You're welcome.
14:33Being a mom of five kids
14:34is chaotic.
14:37It's craziness.
14:38Go on your beds, please.
14:39Beds.
14:40Okay, lay down.
14:41But then there's the great times
14:43when everybody
14:44is wonderful and loving,
14:46but mostly it's like
14:48a hurricane set on fire.
14:50Me and my husband
14:51struggled with infertility
14:53for three years.
14:54We went and seeked
14:56fertility help,
14:57and we started
14:58the IUI process,
14:59and we were lucky
15:00to get pregnant
15:01the first try
15:02with our first son, Jax.
15:04Then when he turned one,
15:05I was getting that itch,
15:07so we went back
15:08to the fertility clinic,
15:10and I got pregnant
15:11with four babies.
15:15I was so happy.
15:19My husband,
15:20after he got used
15:21to the idea,
15:23he was super excited
15:24to be the quad dad.
15:26He's a proud dad.
15:27I'm a proud mom.
15:30The first pregnancy,
15:32I gained a good amount
15:33of weight.
15:34I call it happy weight
15:35because I was so happy
15:36I was pregnant.
15:37But with the quadruplets,
15:39there were so many babies
15:40pushing on so many different
15:42things inside of me.
15:43It was like my whole entire body
15:46was pregnant,
15:47and I knew that there is
15:49no coming back from this.
15:54And then after giving birth
15:57to them,
15:57the stress of taking care
15:59of four babies,
16:00plus managing my two-year-old
16:03at the time,
16:04who just got diagnosed
16:05with autism,
16:06so that was a big hit for me.
16:10It was like,
16:11okay, now how am I
16:12going to help him?
16:13Well, I'm trying to help
16:14these four other babies.
16:19I have these five kids
16:20that need every part of me.
16:23How dare I think about myself?
16:26But I know that I need
16:28to really take a little bit
16:31of time for myself
16:32because that, in the end,
16:34is going to make me
16:35a better mom.
16:36I'm ready.
16:37I'm so ready to bring back
16:39the old me
16:40and have self-confidence again.
16:50So I saw a patient once
16:51use this peel on herself
16:53at home,
16:54like a very strong one
16:55that you should, like,
16:56have no business doing
16:56at home.
16:57And she gave herself
16:58second-degree burns
16:59was in the burn unit.
17:00And the first question
17:01she asked me is,
17:02when can I do a peel again?
17:03Oh, my gosh.
17:04Did she have Virgo?
17:05I mean, check it out.
17:05I'm telling you.
17:06Michelle is here.
17:08Hi.
17:08How are you?
17:09Good, how are you?
17:10I'm a hugger.
17:11All right, welcome.
17:12Nice to meet you.
17:15Have a seat.
17:16Please.
17:17So good to have you.
17:19I'm excited to be here.
17:20Yeah.
17:21You have me beat.
17:22I am a mother of triplets.
17:24Oh, wow.
17:25Yes, I have seven-year-old
17:26triplet children.
17:27Wow.
17:28I bowed down, so, yeah.
17:31That must have been
17:32a tough pregnancy.
17:33Yes, it was very tough.
17:34I was sick the entire time.
17:36I was huge.
17:37I was in the hospital
17:38the last month
17:39and took a toll on my body.
17:40My sister has quads
17:41and also had a one-year-old
17:43when she had quads.
17:44Oh, wow.
17:44Yeah, I had a two-year-old
17:46when I ate quads.
17:46There you go.
17:47So it's almost like
17:47having quintuplets.
17:49Yeah, it really is.
17:50So tell us kind of
17:50what brings you here.
17:51So I had quadruplets.
17:53Yes.
17:54And it does something
17:56to your body
17:56that you can't, like, imagine.
17:58Like, you just saw parts
17:59sticking out everywhere.
18:01My skin's been stretched
18:02to the max.
18:03They went in places
18:04they weren't supposed
18:05to be going.
18:06It still feels,
18:07in some things that I wear,
18:09like I still look pregnant.
18:10When we're in the bed,
18:11it's like me,
18:12my stomach kicking over,
18:14and then my husband.
18:15So, like, don't touch me
18:16right here.
18:16Don't touch me
18:16when I'm over here.
18:17Above the shoulders,
18:19you're good.
18:20It has changed
18:21our relationship so much.
18:22I don't like me now.
18:24Like, I still am not
18:25comfortable in this body.
18:26Even looking in the mirror,
18:27I'm like, that's me.
18:28Like, that's really me.
18:30I just think it's so beautiful
18:31that you've come
18:32to this place
18:32that you're going to
18:33take care of yourself
18:34for a little while.
18:35Yes.
18:35If I'm not happy,
18:36really, our family's
18:38not going to be happy.
18:39So I need to be happy
18:40with me.
18:41You really do have
18:42to put your oxygen mask
18:43on first.
18:44You have to take care of you
18:45because you can't pour
18:46from an empty cup.
18:47Yeah.
18:47And you carry yourself
18:48differently.
18:49Your kids are going
18:50to feed off of that.
18:51They do.
18:51We love mommy makeovers,
18:53and I think you just
18:54need, like, a reboot,
18:55a restart.
18:56Yes.
18:56Totally agree.
18:57You deserve it.
18:58Yes.
19:04There is no exercise
19:05for the skin,
19:06so I really think
19:07I will have to defer
19:08to you on this.
19:09For Michelle,
19:10with the amount
19:10of black skin
19:11that she has
19:12and the results
19:12that she wants,
19:13she's going to be
19:15a better surgical candidate.
19:16Laser and diet
19:17and exercise
19:18are not going
19:19to do the trick for her.
19:20I think there's
19:21definitely things
19:21that can be done
19:22non-surgically,
19:23but it'll take months
19:24and months
19:25and months
19:25and months.
19:25And there's also
19:26the misconception
19:27that it'd be cheaper.
19:28It's not.
19:29Sometimes it's
19:29so many more treatments.
19:31Mm-hmm.
19:31So she just needs
19:32a little bit of love
19:33from you.
19:35I always look
19:36at a patient
19:36and I say,
19:37what's their goal
19:38and can I get there
19:39without surgery?
19:40And if the answer's no,
19:41I have no qualms
19:42about jumping
19:43to a surgical procedure.
19:47Here's my plan
19:47for Michelle.
19:48I'm going to perform
19:49a tummy tuck,
19:51liposuction her upper
19:51and lower back,
19:53and do a breast lift
19:54to give her a nice shape.
19:56Even when you lift
19:57the breast up,
19:58with gravity,
19:59all the weight
20:00goes down.
20:01Goes down,
20:01so you still have
20:02this, like,
20:02cut-out divot
20:04in the top.
20:05Mm-hmm.
20:05So I'm definitely
20:06going to take some fat
20:07and literally
20:08just fill it in up here.
20:09Not to make her
20:10look, like, super cleavage-y,
20:11but, like...
20:11No, but I like that
20:12it's her own tissue.
20:13It's not an implant
20:14you're repurposing.
20:15There's definitely
20:15the place for an implant
20:16when, you know,
20:17it's indicated,
20:18but for her,
20:18I mean, she's got
20:19enough volume.
20:19She's got plenty.
20:20Okay, so why don't we
20:21talk about her face
20:22a little bit now?
20:24Now, Michelle didn't ask
20:25for anything for her face,
20:26but I've been doing
20:27this long enough
20:28that I know I need
20:29to get ahead of this,
20:30and since she's going
20:31to be under anesthesia
20:32anyway, I'm going
20:32to present her
20:33with an option
20:34that I think
20:34she's going to love.
20:35Mommy makeover.
20:36Quad mommy makeover.
20:37I know.
20:38She doesn't need
20:39a makeover.
20:39She needs an award.
20:40She needs a trophy.
20:41Exactly.
20:42Hey, Michelle.
20:44Have a seat.
20:45We're excited
20:45to share some stuff
20:47with you.
20:47Me too.
20:48Yes, so we want
20:49to be your fairy godmother,
20:51fairy god sisters
20:52of skin.
20:54So, yeah,
20:54there are definitely
20:55some things
20:55I could do
20:56non-surgically,
20:57but there is
20:58no exercise
20:58for the skin.
20:59So, in this case,
21:01I'm going to defer
21:02to Dr. Nazarian.
21:04Looking at your shape,
21:05you have hips.
21:06I don't want
21:07to make your breasts
21:08smaller because then
21:08you'll look like a pear.
21:09We don't want that.
21:10We want you to look
21:10like an hourglass.
21:11Yeah.
21:12So, we're going
21:12to give you
21:13a breast lift
21:14and a tummy tuck.
21:16Yes, fantastic.
21:17Yeah?
21:18Is that what you
21:18sort of found out
21:19in your research?
21:20Yes.
21:20Just by lifting
21:21your breasts up,
21:22it's not going
21:23to fill out
21:23that top part.
21:24So, to fight that,
21:26I'm actually going
21:26to take some fat
21:28from your upper
21:28and lower back,
21:30give you a really
21:30nice silhouette,
21:31a nice waist,
21:32and use some of that
21:33fat in the top
21:34part of the breast.
21:35And just by taking
21:36this fat out,
21:37your butt's going
21:38to look like,
21:39ooh, I got a lift.
21:40It's a dream.
21:41You're going
21:41to look so good.
21:42I can see it
21:43in my head.
21:44It does.
21:45Yeah.
21:46So, there is
21:46another option
21:47that I do want
21:48to discuss with you.
21:49So, if you hold
21:49that mirror up,
21:50there is something
21:50that is done
21:51minimally invasively
21:52and it actually
21:52can be done awake
21:54or it can be done
21:55along with other
21:56surgeries.
21:57This is your
21:57buccal fat,
21:58and it's a completely
21:59different type of fat
22:00in the face.
22:01Now, when you were
22:02a kid and you were
22:03lighter, did you
22:03always kind of have
22:04a fuller cheek?
22:05Yeah, I always had.
22:05Because it's a
22:06different type of fat.
22:07So, through an incision
22:09on the inside
22:09of the cheek,
22:10so there's no
22:10external scarring
22:11at all,
22:12I can actually pull
22:13this little fat out.
22:14So, suck in your
22:14cheeks a little bit.
22:15Yeah.
22:16Now your jaw
22:17makes sense
22:17with your face.
22:18The shadowing
22:20underneath your lips
22:20is less.
22:21And your face
22:23went into that
22:23sweetheart position
22:24without volume.
22:25So, if you're
22:26open to that,
22:27I think that
22:27that would really
22:28just make you
22:29look lifted.
22:29And who doesn't
22:30want lift, right?
22:31And the buccal fat
22:32would be, like,
22:32more permanent.
22:33It would be
22:34more permanent.
22:35My only concern
22:35on that is that
22:36as we age,
22:37your face is going
22:38to become exponentially
22:39leaner.
22:40So, I worry about
22:41you having that
22:42fat as you age.
22:44And that is a concern.
22:45The one question
22:46that I always ask
22:47is, when you were
22:47younger, did you
22:48still have that cheek?
22:49And you said yes.
22:50So, that just means
22:50if you lose weight,
22:51you're not going
22:51to lose the cheek.
22:52Okay.
22:52And the second thing
22:53is, who did you
22:54get the cheek from?
22:55My mom.
22:56Okay.
22:56Is your mom gaunt now?
22:57Or does she still
22:58have a full cheek?
22:59She still has it.
23:00Yeah.
23:00So, I'm not worried
23:01about you getting gaunt
23:03as you age.
23:03So, I really do
23:04recommend that.
23:05Okay.
23:05Or it's something
23:06that we can always do
23:07before or after
23:08with injectables as well.
23:09Yeah, I'm leaning
23:10more towards removing
23:11the buccal fat.
23:12Okay.
23:13Super excited.
23:14I mean, it is going
23:15to be definitely
23:15a process, but...
23:17It'll be so worth it.
23:18It'll be so worth it.
23:20We got you.
23:22I'm full of nerves
23:23right now.
23:25Um, it's a mix
23:27of nerves and stress
23:29and excitement.
23:31So, I've laid down
23:32my children a few times
23:33now.
23:34Looks like I gotta
23:34go do it again.
23:36Good thing I'm not
23:37getting to sleep
23:38tonight anyways.
23:39So, wish me luck
23:40for tomorrow.
23:48Okay.
23:49I still can't believe
23:51that this is really
23:51happening.
23:53There's a little anxiety
23:54about, okay,
23:55is this gonna be
23:56super freaking painful?
23:58Is this gonna be
23:58the most pain
23:59I've ever been
23:59in my life?
24:01Even topping,
24:02carrying quadruplets.
24:02You're just gonna focus
24:03on how amazing
24:05you're gonna look,
24:06romantic evening
24:07with your hubby.
24:08Yes.
24:10But even over that,
24:11my fears are
24:13being away from my kids.
24:14Like, is everyone
24:15gonna be able to handle
24:16everything?
24:16Are they getting to school?
24:19I'm always gonna worry
24:21about them,
24:21because my kids
24:22are always gonna be
24:23the number ones
24:25in my life.
24:28Okay.
24:29There you go.
24:31All right.
24:31Let's get all hands
24:32on deck.
24:33One, two, three,
24:35wrap, and over.
24:37Perfect.
24:38That's amazing for me.
24:39Okay, let's get ready
24:40to go.
24:46Knife?
24:47Michelle has
24:48super thick fat
24:50in her back,
24:51so I decided
24:52to do liposuction,
24:53and also I needed
24:54the fat for fat transfer
24:55into her breasts.
24:56So it's gonna make
24:57her butt look
24:58a lot more projected
24:59because her lower back
25:00will be down.
25:02Growing up in Iran,
25:04my mom used to
25:04always say,
25:05oh, I wish I could
25:06take the fat from here
25:06and put it up here,
25:07and we'd laugh
25:08and be like,
25:08ha-ha, whatever,
25:09but that's exactly
25:10what we're doing now.
25:11So you can really see
25:11the fat coming out now.
25:12You see the yellow?
25:15Sometimes it's just
25:16putting a little fat in.
25:17It gives it
25:18a little bit of a lift.
25:19When I look at a patient,
25:21I used to get
25:22super excited
25:23and be like,
25:23I could do this
25:24and this and this
25:24and this and this
25:25because there's
25:25hundreds of things
25:26we can do on anybody.
25:27I'm almost done
25:28with the breast,
25:30but it's really about
25:31what's affecting
25:32that person's life
25:33because if it doesn't
25:34bother them,
25:34you're not really
25:35improving their quality
25:36of life.
25:45I will need
25:46electrocautery
25:47for this portion
25:48of the case.
25:50Buckle fat is actually
25:51quite different
25:51from the fat on your body.
25:53So you can actually see
25:54how much fat was in her cheeks.
25:56It's like immediate results.
25:57The fat on our body
25:58is like tiny little globs
26:00versus the buckle fat.
26:01Refresh 15 blade.
26:04Moms are such
26:05incredible people.
26:06We affect so many
26:07people's energy,
26:08that confidence.
26:09Take care of everybody.
26:10Feel good as a mom.
26:12Everybody's life
26:12improves around.
26:13So here I am
26:14still in recovery.
26:15Just feeling really
26:17appreciative of my family
26:18that's helping
26:19hold down the fort.
26:20They're taking care
26:21of my babies
26:22that I'm missing so much.
26:24But I'm enjoying
26:25a little bit of quiet
26:26and being waited on
26:30for once.
26:35My skin has come along.
26:37These scars have faded
26:39drastically.
26:40But she still has work to do.
26:43We're going to get
26:43these removed.
26:44Wow, it's a lot smoother.
26:47Yeah, it is.
26:47The skin care routine
26:49that you gave me,
26:50it's time consuming.
26:51Tell me about it.
26:52Oh my gosh.
26:53You can do it.
26:54You can do it.
26:55You can do it.
26:56But look at the results.
26:57This is looking so good.
26:58We're going to start
26:59resurfacing,
27:00brightening of the scars.
27:02And just like overall
27:04skin tone texture.
27:06And then we're going
27:07to do micro tattooing.
27:08Okay.
27:09You'll like it.
27:09Hang with me.
27:10I haven't led you
27:11astray so far.
27:12All right.
27:13So let's get started.
27:16Nicholas has beautiful skin,
27:18but he still has
27:18some pigmentation
27:19from those scars,
27:20which is why I want
27:21to use the laser
27:22that's really good
27:23for darker skin tones.
27:25The laser is so effective
27:27because it delivers energy
27:28in a picosecond,
27:29shattering the dark pigment
27:30without a lot of heat,
27:32which means faster results
27:33without the downtime.
27:35If 10 is the worst pain
27:36you ever had,
27:37what would you put that
27:37as pain-wise?
27:38Mmm, two.
27:40I told you I was going
27:41to dazzle you
27:41with a laser light show,
27:42did I not?
27:43I'm now using laser resurfacing
27:45to break up the pigmentation
27:47for his facial scarring.
27:48The reason I love this machine
27:50is because it hits the pigment,
27:53fragments it,
27:54and then your white blood cells
27:55carry away the fragment
27:56and pigment.
27:57And don't panic,
27:58that smell is your skin,
28:00but it's perfectly normal.
28:02Okay.
28:03What does that smell mean?
28:04It is filet of Nicholas.
28:08So now we're going to do
28:10the microdosing.
28:11Okay.
28:11I'm going to do a little bit
28:12all over just for, like,
28:14the...
28:14Oh, okay.
28:15Gotcha.
28:15Okay?
28:16Microdosing allows me
28:17to combine different injectables,
28:18such as fillers and freezers,
28:20at the same time
28:21in tiny little amounts.
28:23Thyronic acid, vitamins,
28:25and paralytic
28:26to plump the skin
28:27and restore that glow.
28:31Because of the accident,
28:33Nicholas is missing
28:34part of his brow.
28:35So the last thing
28:36that we're going to do
28:37is the cosmetic eyebrow tattooing.
28:41It's a simple procedure
28:42that is going to last him
28:43for years.
28:44How did that feel?
28:45Because I just put, like,
28:46one, um...
28:47I didn't even know
28:48you did it.
28:48You didn't feel it?
28:49It filled in that spot.
28:50You did?
28:51You're done?
28:51Oh.
28:52I feel like
28:53my face has been beaten
28:54with the bat,
28:55but after Jamie's procedures,
28:57every time I look back,
29:01it's better.
29:02Okay.
29:03Eight weeks.
29:04This week,
29:05the big news is
29:06I tried on bathing suits.
29:09Usually not fun.
29:10It was fun.
29:11I even did a little fashion show
29:12for the kids,
29:13and they were clapping for me
29:15and saying,
29:16wow, Mommy, you're so pretty,
29:17and what nice underwear I had.
29:21Because it was a bikini.
29:22I mean, your kids,
29:23what your kids think of you
29:24is everything, right?
29:25So that was...
29:26that was big.
29:29Hello.
29:30Hi.
29:31Christmas came early.
29:32Yay.
29:33Should we take a quick peek
29:34at everything going on?
29:36Yeah.
29:37Still a bit swollen.
29:38Yeah, swollen down here.
29:39Yeah, but that'll continue
29:40to go down.
29:41Okay.
29:41I think you're right
29:42where you should be.
29:42Okay.
29:43So I think what I want
29:44to do today is just,
29:44like, a little bit of filler,
29:46a little bit of neurotoxin,
29:47just, like, the cherry on top.
29:49In here, you see how you have
29:50that little bit of a shadow?
29:51I think removing the buckle fat
29:52really helped with that,
29:53but I still think we need
29:54to give you a little bit
29:55of filler right in here,
29:56and it's gonna really help
29:57make that more smooth,
29:58and that will give the illusion
30:00of a tighter jawline.
30:01Yeah.
30:02I went from 25 to 45,
30:05like, within the kids,
30:06and I feel like it chills
30:07on my face.
30:07So, like, all these things
30:08that we're doing,
30:09I think it's gonna bring back
30:11the time that I feel like I missed.
30:14So we're basically going
30:15to straighten out that jawline,
30:17give you a lifted appearance.
30:19Okay, now I'm gonna get
30:20this little divot down here, okay?
30:22We call that the pre-jowl.
30:24Holy moly.
30:25That looks so good.
30:28It's amazing how much
30:29I've changed from before
30:31to this moment right now.
30:32I can't believe what I look like,
30:34what I feel like.
30:35Just look at that.
30:36Yes.
30:37Versus that.
30:38Yes, yeah.
30:38Okay, the rest of this one
30:39I'm just gonna put
30:40into that temple, okay?
30:42Well, let me ask you,
30:42do you want it in your lip or temple?
30:44Have you ever thought about
30:45putting lip filler in or no?
30:46Yeah.
30:46Yes?
30:47Yeah.
30:47You have?
30:48So you prefer your lip?
30:49Yeah.
30:49Okay, let's do her lip.
30:50Every week something changes,
30:51something gets better.
30:52I can't even imagine
30:53what the end's really gonna look like.
30:55I think the word
30:56for your transformation
30:57is liberation.
30:58You've been set free
30:59here and here.
31:01Yeah, yeah.
31:02When Michelle looks in the mirror,
31:04I hope that she sees Michelle,
31:08the woman who deserves
31:09to be cared for,
31:11deserves self-love,
31:13and understands that
31:15we're all a bank.
31:19And in order to make credits
31:21to other people
31:22and to give to other people,
31:23we also have to make deposits
31:24into ourselves.
31:33It's crazy what I see
31:35in the mirror right now.
31:36This is definitely
31:36not a mom of five.
31:41Once I became a mom,
31:43the Michelle before that
31:44was gone,
31:44and now this brought her back.
31:47I feel my age.
31:49I feel 30.
31:50I feel just alive again.
31:53Before, I had so much weight
31:55in the front of me
31:56from my boobs
31:56and from my stomach,
31:58and now I have that muscle back.
32:00I can hold myself up
32:01without feeling that weight
32:01pulling me forward.
32:03My boobs are way perkier.
32:05They pulled them back up
32:06where they belonged.
32:07My waist is there again.
32:10And then all my facial features
32:12are poppy.
32:14The biggest surprise
32:16out of this whole process
32:18I think is my mental state.
32:19I didn't think
32:20I was going to have
32:20as much confidence
32:21that I have now.
32:23I always thought
32:24that no matter what,
32:25I was going to have
32:25some kind of insecurity,
32:26but I love myself again.
32:31I think every mom
32:32needs to take time
32:34for yourself
32:34to do the things
32:35that you need to do for you.
32:37If you're not happy,
32:38your kids aren't happy.
32:39Your husband's not happy.
32:41I don't have boundaries
32:42with my husband anymore.
32:44There's nothing
32:44that's off limits.
32:45It's almost like
32:46we started dating again
32:48in a weird way.
32:51And then as a mom,
32:52I'm not worried about,
32:53oh, am I going to be able
32:54to chase my kids?
32:55Now it's being present
32:57in the moment
32:57with my children
32:58and my husband.
32:59Thank you so much
33:01to Dr. Nazarian
33:02for everything
33:02that she's done for me.
33:04There was a light
33:04at the end of the tunnel
33:05and she opened
33:06so many doors for me
33:07in so many different ways.
33:08This is me.
33:09I'm here.
33:10And it's beautiful.
33:29Nicholas and I have put
33:30a lot of work in together.
33:31I can't wait to see
33:33what he can achieve
33:34without anything
33:35holding him back.
33:37For so long,
33:38I was fixated on the scars
33:39because I thought
33:40that defined me.
33:42I thought getting the scars
33:44removed from my face,
33:45it would allow people
33:46to be open
33:47to seeing who I am
33:49and not dealing
33:50with profiling
33:51and judgment
33:52and mistreatment.
33:59Now,
34:00I realize it's not about that.
34:02It's just about
34:03how I feel about myself,
34:04me living in my truth,
34:06bringing out my light
34:07as best as I can.
34:10I see you watch me
34:12as my heart hits the ground.
34:15I bet you for a reason
34:18but you won't make the sound.
34:20Do you know?
34:21I look in the mirror
34:23and I like what I see.
34:24I love what I see.
34:26I don't see a monster.
34:28I just see someone
34:30that truly wants
34:31to love everybody
34:33and just uplift everybody,
34:35all of humanity.
34:37Nurse Jamie,
34:38you've opened up
34:39so many opportunities
34:40that I just wouldn't have had
34:42and it's more so
34:43in business endeavors.
34:45I look more trustworthy,
34:46which I'm really happy about.
34:48Thank you, Nurse Jamie.
34:52When I look in the mirror,
34:54I see an extremely bright future.
34:57So many possibilities opened up
34:59and I just can't wait
35:00to get started.
35:01How does this feel, Nicholas?
35:02Man, it feels fabulous.
35:04I feel renewed
35:05and ready to take on the world.
35:36We'll see you next time.
35:37Bye.
36:14Bye.
