00:00Here comes Matt Hall! It's a great performance for Australia!
00:04When I was told I was going to be racing in the Red Bull Air Race, it's an international sport.
00:09I can live anywhere in the world. And I actually had to write down a list of what do I
00:13want with my life.
00:14And I wanted to be somewhere that I can jump on an airline within two hours, do international travel.
00:19I wanted to be somewhere in Australia because I'm Australian at heart.
00:23I wanted to be somewhere near the beaches. I wanted to be somewhere where I can go sailing and water
00:26skiing and with an airfield.
00:28And when it came down to it, you list all that stuff and it was actually perfect exactly where I
00:32live right now, which is the Lake Macquarie region.
00:45So we just left our airfield and we're just heading down to where I grew up till I was about
00:4910 or 11.
00:50Where I was living when I used to come and fly out of this airfield.
00:53So it's a place I used to come to quite a bit just to watch the planes fly and then
00:58go flying with my dad actually.
01:01And this one here, that's where I grew up.
01:06We gave it a fresh paint job when we were living here, but it's the same shape.
01:10Some bigger trees in here. I don't think we had any trees when we were living here, so that's how
01:14long it's been since I was here.
01:20We used to play hide and seek and this was the home base. If you get here without being tapped,
01:25you were good. It's exactly the same.
01:28Our time ะžั‚ะฒะตั‚ sounds very warm.
