00:00Hello, for those from the 1970s, remember when nicknames were like, I don't know, Loud Suits?
00:06And everybody had one.
00:07Hi, Bowie.
00:07Oh, g'day, Fredda.
00:08You know, we all went to school with the Smithies, the Blueies, the Jackos.
00:12And then as years went on, we came up with slightly more clever nicknames, like Rowdy, you know, for the
00:17really quiet ones.
00:18And then, of course, there were those nicknames that those of us who didn't have it absolutely loved it.
00:23But for those who did, it wasn't so great.
00:26Names like Pothole, you know, always in the road.
00:29I love you, Pothole.
00:32So where have all the good nicknames gone?
00:34Let's face it, these days, everybody's known by their initials.
00:37There's TJ, there's PJ, there's SJ.
00:40Australia rode on the sheep's back, but we also rode on having bloody good nicknames.
00:44So we're here at Australian Community Media, ACM, canvassed all our mastheads, and we think we've come up with the
00:50best nicknames in regional sport.
00:52Hope you like them.
