00:00I have a tendency to believe that that will be an intellectual civil war.
00:04It won't just be an extension of Trumpism or MAGA, because there's a personality cult around the president.
00:10And once his political personality extinguishes itself, I don't think anybody else in that party can carry the mantle of
00:19that MAGA leadership the way Donald Trump can.
00:22So I predict there'll be an intellectual fight.
00:25But he is beatable.
00:26And I'll use his words. Sleepy Joe Biden beat him while he was a sitting president.
00:32So we just have to remind people he's never gotten above 50 percent in terms of the way people think
00:38of him, except in that last election.
00:41And his approval ratings throughout the two terms of his presidency have always been below that number of 50 percent.
00:47You say there'll be an intellectual battle, an intellectual fight to take over from him in terms of the next
00:56Republican presidential candidate.
00:57But can it be someone from within this administration if the legacy of the Iran war becomes really toxic?
01:08Well, I mean, maybe, you know, I have predicted, I've said this over again, that he likes eating as young.
01:14And so I think he'll end up destroying the careers of Rubio and Vance before the term is over.
01:20And if you don't believe me, pick up the phone and call Vice President Mike Pence and ask him how
01:24his political career is going.
01:26But, you know, if the war really turns badly, Vance wasn't a proponent of the war.
01:33He tried to distance himself from the war.
01:36And I think Vance's brand of disengagement and sort of ending foreign forever wars, I think, is still intact.
01:44So I think if it goes in that direction and he decides to run for president, it's not clear to
01:50me that he's actually going to do that, you know, he'll at least be able to make the case to
01:56the American people.
