00:28What do you respond to this strategy?
00:31Well, Spain is being coherent with a migrator that is in fundamental values,
00:37in human rights, in integration and in convivencia.
00:41And part of that migrator, which I would say is almost a state policy,
00:49puts focus on that, in the positive support of the migrator.
00:55Also, we have a very important idea.

01:13In Spain, this type of politics, do you have enough support social enough

06:58Bueno, yo creo que es importante hablar de que estamos hablando de un procedimiento que
07:02da el derecho a residir y trabajar en España, respetando absolutamente el espacio Schengen,
07:08pero son personas que están en nuestro país y que van a poder trabajar en nuestro país.
07:13Y además, en un texto estamos hablando de una modificación del reglamento de la ley de extranjería
07:19que cuenta con un respaldo. Se han seguido todos los trámites preceptivos y con la validación
07:24del último trámite antes de llevarlo al Consejo de Ministros del informe del Consejo de Estado.
07:29Y estamos hablando de algo que corresponde, como bien han dicho representantes europeos,
07:34a la soberanía y a la decisión de nuestro país, porque es en nuestro país donde van a poder
07:40trabajar y residir.
07:42¿Pero comprende? ¿No se esperaban esas críticas?
07:44Bueno, yo lo que estoy constatando es que efectivamente en muchas cuestiones quizás puede
07:49haber declaraciones que pueden criticar la política migratoria del gobierno de España,
07:55pero que de facto reconocen que efectivamente la visión de España y la coherencia en política
08:02migratoria es también parte de ese éxito que reconocen publicaciones prestigiosas como The Guardian,
08:09The Economist, donde estamos viendo que efectivamente ese crecimiento, que España sea motor de crecimiento
08:14de empleo en Europa. Quiero recordar que más del 40% del empleo creado desde la reforma laboral
08:20son trabajadores extranjeros cada vez incorporándose a sectores más cualificados.
08:25Bueno, eso es al final la realidad que combate claramente las críticas y evidentemente yo soy
08:30absolutamente respetuosa con la opinión y posición de cada uno de los países.
08:34¿Existe una coordinación real entre los Estados miembro para gestionar esos flujos migratorios?
08:38Bueno, yo creo que es importante destacar que bajo la presidencia española precisamente
08:43y no es casualidad se alcanzará después de muchos años ese plan europeo de inmigración
08:48y asilo que España va a implementar desde una perspectiva humanista. Así que efectivamente
08:53somos no solamente conscientes sino también somos coherentes en cuanto a lo que tiene que ver
09:00con esa visión conjunta de la Unión Europea, pero España siempre desde esa perspectiva humanista
09:05del concepto de cómo entendemos la política migratoria.
09:09Ha mencionado el pacto migratorio. ¿Cómo encaja esta nueva medida del gobierno de España
09:14y su política migratoria en general con el pacto migratorio?
09:16Que también ha sido muy polémico.
09:18Insisto que ha habido más de 40 procedimientos de regularización en diferentes países de Europa,
09:24los últimos Italia, Portugal, insisto, en España sería la séptima vez y desde el punto de vista
09:32recuerdo que hablamos de que son personas que ya están, los requisitos son claros,
09:36son personas que tenían que llegar a nuestro país antes del 1 de enero del 2026,
09:40que llevaran cinco meses ininterrumpidos en nuestro país desde el momento de la solicitud,
09:44que carezcan de antecedentes penales y que desde luego a partir de este momento
09:49no solamente van a tener derechos sino también obligaciones y ahí están también las evidencias
09:54de cómo se han comportado procedimientos anteriores que siempre han sido beneficiosos
09:59para la sociedad, fundamentalmente también para las personas migrantes
10:02y también, indudablemente, para el tejido productivo.
10:05Antes de terminar, ministra, le quiero preguntar porque en los últimos meses
10:09España ha elevado su perfil internacional con posiciones firmes en diferentes debates globales.
10:15¿Estamos viendo un intento deliberado del gobierno de España
10:19de ejercer un mayor liderazgo político en la escena europea o incluso global?
10:25Bueno, se está produciendo en diferentes, no solamente desde una posición claramente
10:31a favor de la paz, en contra de la guerra, exigiendo el cumplimiento de la legalidad internacional,
10:38trabajando firmemente por el multilateralismo y por el respeto a los valores fundacionales
10:43de la propia Unión Europea. De facto, España está liderando con coherencia,
10:47que yo creo que es algo muy importante cada vez que ha habido oportunidad de alzar la voz
10:52y como solemos reconocer, quizás llegamos los primeros, pero eso no quiere decir que estemos solos
10:58porque luego estamos viendo como diferentes países se suman a esa posición
11:02que básicamente es la coherencia con valores que nos ha costado mucho trabajo
11:07a todos y a todas alcanzar y que sustentan precisamente la Unión Europea.
11:11Sobre esas posiciones, algunas de las más polémicas han sido aquellas que han sido contrarias
11:16a la visión del presidente de Estados Unidos, Donald Trump.
11:18¿Puede España mantener una relación sólida con Estados Unidos,
11:22dadas las tensiones derivadas de las diferencias con Trump
11:25y sus llamamientos a suspender a España de la OTAN?
11:28Mire, España evidentemente es un socio fiable, tiene un compromiso firme
11:33con todos los acuerdos alcanzados multilaterales y la relación, por cierto,
11:37a todos los niveles, a efectos comerciales. Es muy importante, es absolutamente fluida
11:42con Estados Unidos. Así que yo creo que lo importante es la coherencia
11:46y defender los valores, insisto, que están detrás de estas políticas a todos los niveles.
