03:18gonna go to the olympics i didn't even know what that was i'm like okay so from day one i

03:24i'm going to the olympics yeah and so i was just hardcore from like the very beginning i knew that
03:29gymnastics i didn't know was like your life gymnastics forced me to have a very disciplined
03:35life and i had a very strict schedule growing up and i enjoyed it this is why i'm very strong
03:41today
03:42life has thrown me so many curveballs but i always just look forward so when did you stop doing
03:49gymnastics yeah i stopped at like 15 when my parents divorced my dad had a mental illness
03:58so he didn't leave my mom because like they fell out of love he just left because
04:03in his mind he was trying to protect us
04:08i'm sorry it's okay so i think i don't talk about it because i have a lot of memories with
04:14my dad about it
04:14yeah my dad has never been diagnosed but in his mind he thought that there was people after us and
04:24so he thought people wanted him so he thought it would be safe for us if he just left and
04:30we were
04:30home alone he had asked if it's okay if he left my mom and i he asked you yeah and
04:38i said yes like i
04:40understand yeah i didn't understand but i kind of did and my dad's still in la he's still in la
04:46yeah
04:46so when they separated was it just they like didn't talk again for a while or like what was
04:52that he just kind of disappeared for years yeah but they always had love for each other at my mom's
04:59funeral like my dad went and it was really sweet because he we like went out and got coffee and
05:05he was
05:05like oh my wife just passed away like even after all those years that they were divorced like yeah
05:10i could just still feel they still have so much love yeah hands down and roll like a ball beautiful
05:19by the way um last night i started inviting people and i want to invite you uh-huh we're gonna

05:25little san diego trip i feel like we could use like a little like a little getaway like a little

09:57the picture we had an agreement that once she was like before school age we would move and we would

10:05closer to family we would have more land but for right now this is where we live and so to

10:12that on an almost daily basis how miserable he is and how much he hates it here it is so
10:20frustrating
10:21it's not easy on relationships like whoever thinks that having a baby fixes everything like having a new
10:26baby is hard yeah but i do feel like there are some elements of like that past trauma from having
10:31such
10:34exes yeah that like sometimes when you when you guys get in a fight you go for the jugular
10:39sometimes and he's not used to that and i think that it makes it hard that's why i'm like couples
10:45counseling or something just so that you guys can have neutral people you know giving it in kristen
10:50language to you and luke language to him and like kind of coming to a combined language together my defense
10:57mechanism when it gets really bad it's i'm like just leave them and he hates that it's good that
11:03you're talking about it you need to say what's bothering you after i had cruise i was all about
11:07cruise 100 and jack's made me feel like i just did not matter after i had a baby with him
11:14i'm glad
11:15that luke is trying but i also want him to like understand a little bit more about how she's feeling
11:21because what kristen's going through is only what kristen is going through also like postpartum is

34:07any criticism to kristen is about how she talks to me or responds to things i'm not criticizing
34:12anything she's doing how she's doing anything and it turns into this pissing match that i don't want and
34:17and that's honestly how many times have i heard both of you say something where i'm like you need to
34:23like talk to the other person or like and i've even told you if you want me to sit there
34:27and mediate to
34:28try to you know translate between you two i will but like again it's not really healthy for you all
34:35to have me do that nor is it healthy for me and i think it's better with the third party
