00:01:51I'm Gail, I'm 32 years old and I work as a farmer in Scotland.
00:01:57My day begins at 4.30 in the morning, we milk over 230 cattle.
00:02:01The milk then goes into our family business
00:02:05where we create our very own luxury dairy ice cream
00:02:08using our very own cow's milk.
00:02:10Growing up on a farm, you developed a strong work ethic.
00:02:14I train six times a week.
00:02:17I would say I developed my strength from carrying
00:02:20two massive 20-litre pails every day.
00:02:23We call that the real farmer's carry.
00:02:27My family are ecstatic, especially my nieces and nephews.
00:02:31One of my nieces calls me Auntie Muscles,
00:02:33so I can't wait to show her what Auntie Muscles can really do.

00:08:35Well, we know what's coming with Cyclone. A slow start, though. She's sizing up her opponent. Now she's got Emily

00:08:47And he's warning Cyclone again. He's on the ball tonight, it's Mark. And it all helps Emily's course.

00:10:03My name's Mark Billings. I'm a PE teacher in Essex, and I'm 38 years old.
00:10:08I'm out every single day teaching children how to do a variety of different sports and having fun.
00:10:13Clear to throw. Yeah, some great throws there.
00:10:16The children probably say, a teacher that joins in way too much.
00:10:19Up, kick, up. I have the dream job.
00:10:23At home, I have my beautiful wife, Kelly, and then I have my son, Thomas, and then my daughter, Ava.
00:10:29I love their sports. Sport and fitness is incredible for just alleviating daily stresses.
00:10:35My brother passed away over three years ago, and that massively impacted me in a way that I can't even
00:10:41describe to you.
00:10:41Mama said, don't give up.
00:10:45I didn't think anxiety was a thing until I had it. I have a lot of friends that I train
00:10:48with.
00:10:48I think it helps us as a group of men with our mental health, the fact that we have that
00:10:52release.
00:10:53And just meeting and talking to each other as well makes a massive difference.
00:10:59The reason that I really wanted to do Gladiators is I want to show children a challenge is a good
00:11:03thing.
00:11:04There's a real buzz around it. A real, real buzz.

00:11:14My name's Jason Melrose. I'm 40 years young. I'm a gym owner from the land of the gods, Newcastle.
00:11:20We can be heroes every day.
00:11:22So I've had my gym now since 2018.
00:11:25And our mission statement is to make people a bigger, fitter, faster, stronger version of themselves.
00:11:31We've also got a group of kids who literally light up the room, compete against it.
00:11:36Even though you tell them a million times, the warm-up isn't a competition.
