00:56stance towards a significant part of the Australian community and that's why we're so keen to get out the word

01:01that this is not who we are, this is not what our faith is about.

01:12We're having a conversation with the Australian people about the consequences of redefining marriage and that they include consequences for

01:21freedom of speech, freedom of religion, people not being allowed to then express a view about marriage being between a

01:29man and a woman, that that freedom will be taken away from people and from Christian and Muslim schools.

01:44What we find is that it's the church attitudes to gay people across the board that has actually pushed them

01:53into that area where they're so fearful. So insignificant, inferiority and no dignity for themselves and they're not welcome within

02:03their arms.
