00:00What do you think about the future?
00:02Well, I don't think that the book is going to end.
00:05I think there is always a niche for the book.
00:10It's an object that was created, I think,
00:13as said Humberto Eco,
00:16it doesn't have modification because it's like the plate,
00:19like the spoon or like the wheel.
00:22Since they invented it, they are like this.
00:24They can change color or form, but they are the same.
00:39What do you think about the book?
00:40Why did I get to go to the library?
00:44First, because my father had been a librarian,
00:47so there was a transition in the family of the library.
00:52He had been a librarian here in Bogotá.
00:55Second, because he was, as of that, bibliophile.
00:57He was passionate about books,
01:00he had a huge library that I had been presenting,
01:05and in which I was happy.
01:10What do you think about the book?
01:13How can I work here?
01:15And I offered to work.
01:17I offered to work.
01:18I offered to the owner of the library,
01:19who was a very nice person,
01:22and he, after doing some tests in general,
01:27which I passed, of course,
01:29given that my lectures have allowed me to do it,
01:33I went to work as a simple ayudante of the library.
01:38And from there in on, I grew up,
01:42I grew up,

02:08I grew up,
02:10I grew up,
02:12I grew up,
02:17but not the capacity and the conditions of Unicentro.
02:22So we decided to build a library in Unicentro,
02:26to buy a local and build a library here.
02:29All our colleagues, all the editors told us that we were absolutely crazy
02:35because all the libraries were in the center.
02:38The center of Bogotá was the place where all the large restaurants were all there.
02:44I think it was soon enough to the lake,
02:48which was like the limit of the north of Bogotá.
02:51In the area where the Unicentro was not anything.
02:55There were no houses, there were no organizations.
02:58However, he thought that this would have a great development and a future.
03:08The library had an enormous success.
03:10It was a huge amount of money.
03:11It's a huge amount of money.
03:14it was about to sell the weekend.
03:15I could see the rest of the week.
03:17We were all in the area of the Unicentro.
03:18After that, we were creating buildings, houses, apartments,
03:22and we knew what it was made to be.
03:26There is a false thing with respect to the Unicentro.
03:49los autores literariamente consagrados, digamos?
04:58en cuanto a mí
05:01resulta que yo andaba buscando el paraíso
05:04y lo encontré
