00:00Our two biggest criticisms in the games that they had lost was Jalen Brunson and Mike Brown,
00:05and the fact that neither one of them seemed up to the task early on in the series.
00:11Jalen Brunson, too much of the ISO nonsense, too many of the bad shots, did not look like himself,
00:16and Mike Brown with some miserable rotations, keeping Cat and Brunson on the bench at the same time as the
00:21Hawks are rolling back.
00:23And both of those things have changed in a dramatic way,
00:26and this is where the credit has to be given to both of them,
00:30saying that the things that we were doing were not working,
00:33and we found the right ingredients to make it work now,
00:36and it's been so different from the losses in this series with the rotations,
00:42and you mentioned a couple of them, and there's some others, too, that we hadn't even seen.
00:46You saw a lot more of Mitchell Robinson and Cat on the floor at the same time.
00:50That was working.
00:51Jordan Clarkson coming in, getting his minutes again,
00:54and also getting the ball and being someone who's more of a distributor when he's in,
00:58as opposed to Deuce McBride having the ball,
01:00because that wasn't working with him running the offense with the second unit.
01:05And, yeah, going to Alvarado and saying that he was a guy that was on the bench.
01:10He had got some run when Deuce McBride was out.
01:13It seemed like at the beginning of this series we weren't going to see a lot of Alvarado.
01:16Well, he needed to be in this series.
01:18He gave him an opportunity, and he has done exactly what they wanted out of him,
01:23is that energy, that defense, that grit, that chip on the shoulder.
01:27So I am really, really happy that Mike Brown saw what he was doing,
01:31was not stubborn, and said, we're going to try these things,
01:34and we're going to see if they work, and they're working at the perfect level.
01:38We're going to try these things, and we're going to try these things.
