00:05So, I was wondering if it is safe to say that the civil war is over, or the civil war
00:12is ongoing?
00:15No, I think the civil war has just started.
00:39I would like to start by asking you, what's the current situation in Syria? What's happening today?
00:49Several days ago, the upstream forces started to liberate many cities from the Assad regime in Syria.
01:02Now, all Syria has separated from this dictatorship regime, and Bashar Assad has escaped from Syria to Moscow.
01:12I think everybody knows about the news that the Minister of Moscow has spoken, that Bashar Assad is now in
01:24Moscow.
01:25A lot of officers from the last regime stayed in Syria.
01:34Now, all the opposition forces tried to deal with them.
01:39They announced a forgiveness statement to all Syrian regime officers in Syria.
01:47They came back to work again.
01:50All the employees in the government, they came back to the association and government to work normally there.
02:05Today, also, the government announced and created a new government in Syria and now started to work in Damascus, the
02:17capital.
02:19What happened during the weekend? How would you describe or define what we saw on Sunday?
02:26Yesterday, a lot of people were looking for detainees in the Syrian regime prisons in Syria, especially in Damascus.
02:38I think all the world saw the videos and pictures of the detainees who tortured and kidnapped in Syria, and
02:49there are thousands inside these prisons.
02:54The Syrian opposition forces, the Syrian opposition forces, from these jails.
03:00Actually, it's monsters jails.
03:03Now, there are free.
03:05Some opposition forces are also are looking for a secret prisons belonging to regime, especially in cost.
03:14In cost, I mean, Latakia state and Tartu state.
03:23There is also some secret prisons in Damascus.
03:29Also, opposition forces now searching to liberate all the detainees there.
03:35But they couldn't know any kind or any prison of these secret prisons inside Damascus and its countryside.
03:47Also, the Australian forces, sorry, the Israeli government and its aircraft start to advance in the southern side of Syria
03:58and took over some lands and village.
04:02In the southern countries and Albas city.
04:07Also, a mountain, it's called his Sheikhs.
04:13They took over their side claims that they are trying to secure their borders with Syria because some of Islamic
04:24groups may be defeated or declared their security.
04:29um also during the four days since four days ago uh the aircraft the australian aircraft
04:39shield uh many airports uh headquarters for regime previously um strategic uh guns for regime
04:54actually they destroyed everything especially also i i want to to mention that also they shield
05:03a chemical weapon store around damascus and yabrud kalamon this area's regime used to to hide
05:14the chemical weapon inside the mountains in secret places uh israelian aircraft should
05:21all this store so i i was wondering if it is safe to say that the civil war is over
05:29or the civil war
05:30is ongoing
05:34no i think the civil war has just started yes it has just started because there is a lot of
05:43opposition and loyalty for regime just uh those people will not live together never
05:52now all all the people all the opposition forces uh uh speak about revenge from uh syrian
06:01syrian officers uh regime from criminals who uh comment a lot of uh uh killing people and some
06:12people uh civilians uh uh syrian pilots they are looking for them
06:19uh most of uh of uh killers of uh regime killers are hiding now between the people so the opposition
06:28uh forces or and uh uh people who loyalty to the syrian revolution will well they are looking uh for
06:36for
06:36uh those people those criminal people as they as they as they claim so i think that syrian
06:45syrian civil war will just started now maybe in the uh upcoming uh years there will be a lot of
06:54flood in the street and cities and villages okay and how are people leading or living uh their daily
07:04lives today are people going to work to study life is going normally yes everything back normally
07:13especially in damascus aleppo hama homes and all liberated uh cities in in syria everything back
07:23normally all the people back to work uh school is still working uh police are now back to work
07:35uh everything yeah everything is is working back to normally right now you mentioned that uh many
07:44officers the government officers uh went back to work so how are you how is syria going to decide who
07:52is
07:52going to be held accountable for the crimes for the violence for torture and who is going to be um
08:00pardoned and just let them go back to work and to serve the government how are you going to decide
08:08who
08:08is going to be held accountable and who's not yes right now there is nothing clear about this issue so
08:19uh the political the political the political management announced that all the officers inside
08:26syria who belong to the regime they have to back to work again no one will arrest them no one
08:34will
08:34will kidnap them no one will do anything with them but i told you about the people the revenge of
08:41people uh the revenge of some uh some of uh opposition forces that they want revenge the accountability uh
08:50maybe it will be after one maybe one one year or less than that for some people for some high
09:03-ranked
09:04uh officer uh officer in the syrian regime and uh the people uh the officers who committed uh crimes
09:11against humanity and uh uh some opposition or uh people or civilians in syria but the police uh sorry
09:23there are two kind of uh officers there is police officers and uh uh uh army officers the army officers
09:32they are hiding right now okay most of them committed uh crimes against civilians by shilling by aircrafts
09:39uh back by tanks by artillery but a whole kind of uh uh of guns uh but the the police
09:50officers
09:51they haven't do a lot of crimes against civilians in syria so they normally back to work right now
09:59but the army officers are hiding right now okay uh what can you tell us about um the power transition
10:06we're hearing that there's um these meetings or this um consultation spaces between the opposition
10:15forces the prime minister how can you what can you tell us about this power transition currently yes the prime
10:23minister of regime uh has given up all the association inside syria all the government ministers back
10:33to work right now uh which the opposition forces created right now they took over all the tasks from uh
10:44the the old uh government of syrian regime everything transferred uh peacefully nothing nothing nothing
10:53happened happened all the ministers uh and prime minister uh meeting together and they took over
11:03everything from them um some some of them still working right now are people talking about elections free
11:12elections for example now we can't no one can say about election because there's a lot of guns inside the
11:20streets uh between the people uh the new government will take a lot of heavy tasks to to uh pull
11:31over the guns
11:33from the people there is because you can't you can't do election uh while there's a gun inside the streets
11:40the tanks inside the streets uh the people have a lot of guns uh maybe a civil war is coming
11:47so the election
11:49we are talking about it take up for uh maybe one year or two years to happen one of the
11:56main um fears
11:59that we see from outside is that a new government the the the eventual new government uh turns out to
12:07be
12:08be more uh repressive religious uh driven uh more oppressive with minorities um so um is is this uh the
12:19new
12:19government took all took over all this uh what are you talking about uh but there is islamic group inside
12:28syria uh this is uh islamic groups will make big trouble for the new government
12:37and the opposition forces inside syria but i think nothing uh will be peacefully uh
12:47but while the transaction between the the governments inside syria
12:52there are a lot of tasks tasks that the new government had to do it has to do it uh
12:58inside
12:59syria and the liberated area also uh syrian democratic forces in the uh eastern side of
13:06a fraud uh throughout uh east syria uh they need to to new graduate with it was there with each
13:14other
13:15to uh to make syria united united um i think in this situation the government uh has a lot of
13:25troubles to
13:25do uh inside syria and to solve it yeah you're you're um i wanted to to go that direction and
13:34ask you
13:35today what are the main challenges for syria to live in peace um respect the minorities i respect different
13:45religious and ethnic groups what are those main challenges for syria to reach peace
13:52yes the peace uh all the syrian people want peace after uh 14 years of war inside syria all the
14:01syrian
14:02people want peace inside syria no matter uh the religious no matter uh anything uh but some forces
14:13inside syria uh are playing to uh of a minority and majority inside syria so this merger majority will
14:22make civil war right now also the loyalty of for uh syrian regime and the opposition forces a loyalty
14:30also will make a civil war um maybe maybe uh uh make make syria again uh make syria uh peaceful
14:43again
14:44need a lot of works between the people the community uh united together uh to defeat all these forces
14:51uh which uh which are playing to to uh deforce syria and make it several states okay um as you
15:01said we
15:02have seen israel moves uh during the last days it has taken control of the syrian golan heights turkey
15:11has its own interests uh european countries are halting decisions over the asylum seekers so what what is
15:21concerning you the most about the international outlook towards what's happening in syria the attitude that
15:29other countries are taking towards this problem or this situation actually all all countries that you have
15:37uh speak about uh speak about have have forces inside syria so these forces are are fighting together
15:45here it's like proxy war since 14 years uh until now it's proxy war so uh all all these forces
15:54are
15:54fighting each other to uh to control of the damascus or do control of over syria uh maybe uh maybe
16:04by
16:05uh the international community uh uh and uh the the the countries who are involved inside the syrian
16:13file uh meeting together and find solution to to to end this uh fight inside syria and uh prevent uh
16:24civil war
16:25from outside it's been like interpreted that the situation is resolved that everything is uh going back
16:34to normal in syria so that all the refugees can go back uh to their country to their homes uh
16:40but um
16:41there's still a big humanitarian crisis so what's your message for those countries organizations um to
16:49keep helping syrian people yes actually several countries announced that uh the the syrian uh people
16:59and outside of syria they can back now to syria they can back now to syria actually that's not true
17:05the situation here uh maybe at any time will explode uh and make a civil war here
17:13so that the situation here is not safe right now maybe maybe after one or two uh years the situation
17:22will
17:22be good uh be good uh to beg all the syrian around the world and beg them to syria yes
17:29my message to the
17:33countries please help us to prevent a civil war and how can they help that through diplomatic uh
17:42uh efforts uh efforts aid what kind what can they do maybe maybe aids uh will not will not help
17:53to to
17:53prevent civil civil war uh maybe double also diplomatic uh issues and will uh will not also help
18:02the syria uh to prevent a civil war i think there is there there are benefits from syria some some
18:15countries have had uh need benefits from syria for oil or um humanitarian forces um some commercial uh issues
18:30because these countries uh if they group together and make an agreement between each other uh to make
18:43a syria united and help syria to grow up again and create a new syria this will help the syrian
18:55people to
18:55prevent a civilian war a civil war uh with uh inside syria also the forces which are belonging to some
19:07countries these forces are uh taking orders from these countries inside syria so they uh they must all the
19:18forces inside syria must cut their uh relation with these countries to prevent the civilian war
