00:04Remember that the past 25th of August, the representative of the Cámara, Carolina Arbeláez,
00:10denounced the wrong state in which was found on the Canal of Agua of the Avenue Boyacá?
00:14Well, more than 15 days later, the Canal is worse than before.
00:19They have seen a lot of ratas and the odors are also prejudiciales.
00:23I have been living here approximately 12 years and I have never seen that they had a limpieza
00:27and I have to remember that once it was done, the Alcalde Carlos Fernando Galán responded
00:33on his account that the Canal had to be intervened, giving the reason to the congressman and
00:39etiquetating Consuelo Ordóñez, who is the director of UASP.
00:43But, what happened in these days?
00:45Have there been any type of intervention?
00:47The Canal Boyacá ended last week on the 10th of September of this operation where more
00:54than 12 people from our squadron, we were able to extract a bunch of residues of all types,
01:01where no only we found residues ordinarily disposed in a indebite manner,
01:05but also we found other types of enceres, such as houses,
01:09such as towels, towels, sanitizers, that were disposed in a way responsible for some citizens.
01:14In the particular case of the Canal Boyacá, we do a cleaning unit of two times per week.
01:21However, by the situation that has been presented in the last few days, we have even had
01:26daily limpiezas in this area in this area of the city.
01:29As have been solicited in several times the residents during the years, the Canal repetidamente
01:35needs an intervention to remove the garbage from the place.
01:39But today, no one has planned an immediate solution, nor a long term.
01:44Unfortunately, this problem we have in the entire city, however, we do a daily effort to
01:51solve it in order to be expedited. We have some channels that are of special care, and we do
01:57a special follow-up, such as the Canal Fucha, Comuneros, Salitre, the Calle 38 Sur, are
02:05channels where we have a recurrent problem of residues and where we focus our efforts to keep
02:12clean and avoid risks for the citizens.
