00:07Our indigenous peoples in Risaralda are suffering several flagelos.
00:13Flagelos of nutrition, of death, mental health,
00:17in which we need to get the program of this government
00:21to reach the most far away from the department of Risaralda,
00:25especially to the indigenous peoples.
00:33The disease that we have had in the communities,
00:37the state does not give us answers,
00:40the issue of armed conflict that is still living in the territories
00:44and we do not have answers to all this.
00:55The situation of the Envenas in territory is complex and very serious in certain regions of Colombia.
01:04The territories of Envenas in this moment have the focus of the conflict practically encended
01:11and part of its mobilization is not only to the government,
01:19but also to the armed actors to the violence against children, against women.
01:24They come because there is a lot of infant children,
01:29there is a lot of adolescent population that is being suicided.
01:33We want to denounce directly to the entire country,
01:37our president, the death of the indigenous children
01:40that is generated in the department of Risaralda
01:44by the cause of the desnutrition.
01:46In the year 2023, we died 78 children.
01:49In this year 2024, we have 32 children.
01:52The death of the suicides that have been generated there,
01:56the death of some indigenous women who also have been suicided.
02:00There are several things that are directly arising.
02:03The indigenous peoples do not have access to territory,
02:07do not have access to a dignified housing,
02:09do not have access to productive projects.
02:11So, there are several things that are directly concerned about coming.
02:28What is the call for the president?
02:29The call for the president is to respond
02:31and to help us to the needs,
02:33and as I said, there are a lot of needs
02:35about health, education, housing, territory,
02:39demanding that we give us more land for indigenous communities
02:43because we have been asking for it for a long time,
02:45and they have not given us a response,
02:46and that is what leads us to come here to La Minga,
02:50and that is all that is the incumplishment.
02:57From the district, we have provided all the guarantees
02:59to allow this mobilization,
03:02maintaining, above all, the public order.
03:04However, we do a call to the nation
03:07to comply with the commitments
03:09that have been acquired with the community in Vera.
03:11Since June of this year, we have been in the Asamblea
03:14of the Naciones in Vera talking about those commitments.
03:16And I take advantage of this space
03:18to make a call again from the national government
03:19that has a couple of weeks told us
03:22that for now, for this year,
03:23there will not be more efforts to return.
03:25We believe that it is fundamental to reactivate this.
03:28The majority of these communities
03:29want to return to their territories.
03:32The majority, about 80%,
03:34and it is the responsibility of the state,
03:36the national government,
03:37to lead that process
03:38so that they can handle
03:39the conditions in that territory
03:41that allow them to remain there.
03:43Bogotá has helped
03:44and will continue to help,
03:45but the main responsibility
03:47is and will continue to be the state.

04:03so that he can sit with the leaders
