00:00I'm going to try this one second.
00:03So I'm going to take her body on the other end,
00:06but I'm just going to carry her body.
00:22I'm going to put the body on the other side.
00:24I'm going to try this one last time,
00:25I'm going to try this one.
00:46ever since I've been in the public eye I've been accused of using the audit card and I've
00:53always wondered what is this audit card and no one has really been able to respond but I know that
00:58it's used in a negative way so our idea was to subvert this and make audit card something we
01:05can all be proud of so that was the idea behind the show for women talking about issues related
01:11to politics law journalism current affairs anything and everything under the skin that
01:17they are interested in they have expertise in and since they're women we thought we could
01:23use audit card and reclaim this as something positive
01:33is okay thing is everything in your time
01:48we get both kinds we do get positive responses where people praise what we do and especially if
01:55we do something very different then there's a whole group of people who do come out and praise us for
02:00that for example we did an episode where we reviewed sanitary napkins and we thought we would get so
02:06trolled for that we would actually get abused for that but we didn't we actually received most of the
02:11the feedback was very positive and people were very glad that we did that
02:29honestly speaking it does get to you at point at point and you think that you know why is this
02:35happening
02:36why then then you realize that oh actually they are doing this because you have the power to make an
02:42impact you are giving an opinion that's offending their sensibilities or they've been told to troll you
02:49which means that you know you are important your your voice is important women journalists in Pakistan and
02:55women commentators in Pakistan have come to accept as something that's become a part of our job
03:01especially with this new ruling party that has been in power for the last three years there the attack
03:09on women journalists especially online has increased and not just some anonymous accounts from government
03:16officials who are personally targeting us and labeling us and trying to discredit us
03:36another issue that we encountered in Pakistan is censorship so there were a lot of topics that
03:42we wanted to discuss but we couldn't on mainstream channels or get them published so we thought this
03:48would be a great platform which was for me personally very liberating because we can then raise issues and
03:53talk about things that we could not talk about on mainstream channels
04:24but thank you so much for listening so this will never be able to communicate that you've been
04:25able to contribute to this but not particularly….
04:25because if we didn't pretend so just there was like okay with the resistance then you just
04:25don't know john we are looking for somerecious who might do want to deny us and start it as weIS
