00:02We're going live to Venezuela, the Great National Pilgrimage.
00:08No, it's not about the Great National Pilgrimage.
00:11It is about the signing of documents.
00:14We lost the images.
00:17Do we have the images or not?
00:18We do have the image.
00:20We're seeing live images of the Miraflores Palace
00:27as the Acting President de Rodriguez is leading the signature of state agreements.
00:35These are information we are receiving last minute.
00:39The Acting President of Venezuela, de Rodriguez,
00:43who's leading the signature of state agreements here at the Miraflores Palace
00:50as part of the continued recovery of the actions taking place in Venezuela
00:57for the recovery of the economy.
00:59We have seen since the Acting President took on the responsibility
01:06following the kidnapping of Constitutional President Nicolas Maduro,
01:10she has called on the nation to unite and lead a process of recovery.
01:21So right now, we continue to see the images as this process continues
01:27as the Acting President is leading this signing ceremony of state agreements.
01:43So the, as we were saying, the documents are being signed right now
01:52in the sector of hydrocarbons, the Minister of Hydrocarbons,
01:57and the President of PDVSA, the state-owned company of hydrocarbons,
02:05are signing this joint agreement.
02:12So these are the, so this is the roadmap, these agreements,
02:19that will lead the relationship of the ongoing partnership of oil businesses.
02:29On behalf of any Venezuela, Guido Brusco,
02:34Director of Natural Resources Operation and General Director.
02:41So this is the roadmap for the negotiations for the contracts of development
02:47of the main activities that have to do with the hydrocarbon sector.
02:58So we continue to see the different authorities signing this roadmap,
03:02these agreements.
03:03Among them, of course, we were saying the Minister of Hydrocarbon
03:07and the President of PDVSA alongside the presidents of the respective companies
03:12that will be taking part in the investments in this hydrocarbon sector.
03:20So an important step that the nation is given following the enactment
03:25of the hydrocarbons law, the reform of the hydrocarbon law
03:28that was approved a few weeks back.
03:53The only company developing and delivering gas to the domestic market.
04:00So we never, we never left Venezuela.
04:04We continue to produce gas.
04:06And through this agreement, through this agreement that we signed today,
04:10I think that we are really putting the basis for additional investment
04:15for the domestic market in the gas.
04:17And for future, that disagreement we signed,
04:20that is in the spirit of this new agreement to also develop gas for the exports.
04:29That, sorry.
04:42But, uh, in Venezuela we are also in a, in the big oil field,
04:46Kunin 5 and the Faka over in Oco, and, uh, with a big potential.
04:53We, in the, in the Kunin 5, we have about 35 billion barrels of resources in place.
05:00Okay.
05:02Okay.
05:02We are here in Venezuela and we have great projections for the
05:05campus of Junin 5, where we have a projection of
05:11...
05:11No production.
05:12Resources in place, not a service.
05:14Ah, the reserves.
05:15Disculpe.
05:15Not a service, resources, okay.
05:16The resources, okay.
05:21The resources.
05:22The resources.
05:23The resources.
05:23The resources.
05:25The resources.
05:27The resources.
05:29Uh, I think that now, uh, we have, uh, the, the condition that are in place
05:34with the new contract, uh, to accelerate the development of these resources.
05:40Uh, crucial resources for Venezuela, for the people of Venezuela, for the development of
05:45Venezuela, and also at the end of the day for E&I.
05:49Y tenemos en este momento con esos recursos la posibilidad de acelerar la producción con estos recursos cruciales para el
05:56bienestar de Venezuela y para el bienestar de su gente y para el futuro de Italia también.
06:06So, I said that we have the conditions in place. We have a very good relationship. We had a very
06:14good meeting with the president and with the institutions, with the ministers and the general directors, with the visa.
06:24And I think that in a few months, I hope that we will be able to present the plan of
06:29development for Culin 5 and with the new contract for provision.
07:11So, I want again to thank you, the president, the minister, the visa director general, for receiving us and also
07:21for working us in a very productive way from the contractual point of view.
07:27That is quite important. And also for the investment. I think that if everything was going well, this investment is
07:34going to be one of the most important investments in the country and also for our company.
07:39Thank you very much.
08:03The CEO of the of the oil company, Italian oil company that just signed these important agreements with Venezuela.
08:11Let's listen to the, let's listen to the, let's listen to the, let's listen to the acting president, Dulcey Rodriguez.
08:16Bueno, muy buenas tardes. Quiero, en nombre del pueblo de Venezuela, dar la bienvenida muy especial.
08:21I want to welcome specially Claudio Descalzi, the ex CEO, the whole director's board of ENI.
08:36All the executive from ENI that have always accompanied the work in Venezuela.
08:42I want to greet the minister of hydrocarbons, Pablo, the president and vice president of PDVSA are here with us,
08:49the vice ministers, because we are witnessing important moments for Venezuela.
08:58I was saying we were being witness of an important moment. First, we said that when we signed with ENI,
09:09ENI never left the country, ENI was in Venezuela, and we have been able to strengthen our cooperation links.
09:16I want to recognize this to them, to this Italian company, European company, that they maintain their ties and their
09:24production plans of gas in our country.
09:27But today, without doubt, marks and milestones in relations between ENI and Venezuela.
09:34I would say, affirming after a working meeting, is one of the most important bets that have been made in
09:44Venezuela in the last times.
09:46And ENI is doing it for our country, for the well-being of the Venezuelan people, for the well-being
09:51of Italy and the peoples of Europe, and for the international economy in general.
09:58Millions of investments that are being planned for Venezuela to increase production comes at the hands of ENI.
10:06I think that the Venezuelan people and the international community deserves to know, and I know that we know how
10:13to be grateful for this important portion in the area of the company Junín Cinco,
10:22which, as you say, is a company that has wide reserves of oil, and the plan that today was signed
10:31was to give a promotion, a push to production.
10:34I know that in the coming months, we will give more good news for the energy world, for Venezuela, for
10:41Italy.
10:41We will have good news, more precisely, of what represents the signing of this agreement today.
10:48And that's why I repeat, today marks will remain marked in the history of relations, of any relations in concrete,
10:57in terms of relations in Venezuela.
11:00Bring the welcome to the Prime Minister Maloney and the Italian people for this step that we are giving together,
11:08both the company and Venezuela.
11:10Thank you very much.

11:34We are affirming their commitment to continue working together.
11:36As the acting president said, the Italian company ENI never left the country, always maintained its ties with Venezuela.
11:45And with the signing of these agreements, Venezuela and this Italian company, in a way, both peoples of Venezuela and
