00:00I also paid wasting food. How long will you, like, before you, I won't throw it out. I mean,
00:07what do you do? Oh, no, I'm a leftover guy. I'm saving leftovers. I've got them. I eat them. I
00:13recycle into different kinds of meals. You know, I'm the guy that's, you know, taking leftover
00:19Chinese food and adding eggs to it in the morning and making a breakfast sort of scramble. And,
00:26yeah, no, it's as long as I can stretch it for sure. But truth of the matter is I don't
00:30often
00:30have leftovers because I love to eat. So, right. Are you a good cook? I'm a decent cook. Yeah. I
00:36mean,
00:36I'm a good, I'm a good recipe follower, so I can make some really good things. And then just
00:41offhand, I have a couple of things in my rotation that I'm able to, you know, put together sort of
00:45last minute. I'm Italian, so pasta and I have a pasta sauce that, you know, I think is pretty good.
00:51My kids think it's very good. So, if the whole acting thing doesn't work out, could there be a
00:55pasta sauce line? You know what? Even, even while, even if the acting thing works out, I would like
01:01to do a pasta sauce line. That seems to be the thing right now. Yeah. That would be not a
01:05bad idea,
01:06right? Yeah. Yeah. Um, I gotta tell you, I really admire you for speaking out about sobriety. You
01:13didn't have to. Like, I'm always amazed when people come forward because it's scary to do that. Yeah,
01:19you nervous at all about doing that? I was, you know, I think the first time I, I was nervous
01:23because I, I relapse is a big part of my story. So, I spent the first four years of my
01:28journey
01:29in and out of AA and relapsing and struggling and, you know, so, so to talk about it openly like
01:37that
01:37felt, you know, I was, I was, uh, yeah, I was just nervous. It's almost to be that accountable,
01:43you know, knowing that people would hear my story and perhaps, uh, you know, perhaps interest
01:50motivates some people. Here's the man of the night, Mr. Kim. I love you, brother.
01:55Congrats on the new spot.
01:56I gotta get in.
01:58Yep. So anyway, um, yeah, no, I was nervous to talk about it, but I talk about it. I talked
02:05about it first on Dax Shepard's podcast and Dax is a friend and, uh, and, uh, you know, he's
02:11sober as well. So, I felt very comfortable talking with him about it.
02:14Can you, uh, can you sense when someone's struggling or do you feel like a spider sense
02:20from being in sobriety?
02:21A little bit. Yeah, a little bit. I can kind of get a, uh, uh, a feeling from some people
02:26sometimes that are sort of sober curious or, you know, ask me certain questions or have
02:31certain behaviors that I recognize in myself, you know, of course, but you know what? It's
02:35never about me. Uh, so they need to come to me, you know what I mean? Like I, I'm just,
02:41now putting my sobriety out there in a public way. People know that I'm sober and if they
02:45want to reach out to me, I get people reaching out to me on Instagram all the time, you know,
02:48and it's a really beautiful thing and I'll engage with them if I can.
02:51What's your best advice for someone who's sober curious?
02:55Oh gosh, ask for help. Yeah. Yeah. Ask somebody if you know somebody and not even necessarily
03:00someone that's not, that's, that's sober. Um, but, but yeah, but, but, but ask for help.
03:05Yeah, that would be my advice.
