00:20of the acting president Delsi Rodriguez who is in the Caribbean country on official visit.
00:26This is the first official visit of the acting president to Barbados, the second international trip that the acting president
00:33has done since taking on the responsibility of the acting president.
00:41So we continue to see live images as we were seeing as the acting president of Venezuela, Delsi Rodriguez, continues
00:48to share these moments and she was being hosted by the authorities of the Caribbean nation.
00:55The acting president as we are seeing right now is greeting the people that have gathered here and the official
01:02as part of the protocolary ceremony is being held to receive the acting president.
01:08So, as we were saying, the acting president arrived on Sunday night, late at night, and she's expected to carry
01:15out a powerful agenda of exchange to continue fostering and strengthening the bilateral relations and cooperation ties that exist between
01:25Venezuela and the Caribbean as a region as to continue working in the integration of the Caribbean region for common
01:32prosperity and to fight against imperialist aggression.
01:36So, the acting president was welcomed on Sunday at Grandly Adams International Airport in Barbados with the honors within her
01:45office.
01:45She was accompanied by several ministers and political figures from the Bolivarian government and also was greeted by the Barbadian
01:54foreign minister, Christopher Peter Sinclair, and other officials.
01:58As we were saying, this is the first official visit to Barbados and the second international tour by the leader
02:04since she assumed the highest office of the Venezuelan state in January as acting president.
02:10This trip comes just 17 days after her visit to Grenada reaffirming cooperation ties with the Caribbean.
02:19The agenda that the acting president is developing in Barbados today aims at strengthening bilateral relations within the framework of
02:30regional integration and the defense of sovereignty against imperialist aggression.
02:36Caracas and Bridgerton have established diplomatic relations since September 25, 1969 and increased cooperation after Prime Minister Mia Amor Morley's
02:49visit to Venezuelan capital in July 2023,
02:52who met with the president with the Constitutional President Nicolas Maduro and several agreements were signed back then in that
03:01year 2023 on Earth Services, Education and Agri-Food Sovereignty in addition to a joint declaration that established a formal
03:10commitment to continue bilateral work in various areas of cooperation.
