00:07Just love being out in the woods tonight.

00:09with an eerie apparition.

00:12That's considered the holy grail is capturing a full apparition.

00:16A couple on a notoriously dangerous highway in California

00:22drives by a ghost.

00:24This is the spooky fuel that I fill my car up with.

00:30Did the owner of a haunted hotel capture the spirit of a young boy?

00:36You can see the little boy had a jacket on, buttons.

00:40It's almost like he was disfigured.

00:43And even more paranormal footage you have to see

00:49to believe.

01:05When it comes to haunted locations, the Jefferson Palace Hotel in Texas ranks amongst the spookiest.

01:17The nearly 175-year-old building has changed hands dozens of times, and was once

01:24a livery stable, a family's home, a brothel, and a speakeasy during Prohibition.

01:35It's also where at least 30 deaths are said to have occurred, with such a long, dark history, it's

01:44no surprise the hotel is said to be brimming with paranormal activity.

01:49Just ask the current owner, who not only runs it, but also lives there with his family,

01:59who the spirits interact with nearly every day.

02:13June 2023, Jefferson, Texas.

02:19Jeremy Jones and his daughter, McKenna, are sitting in what they refer to as a disappointments room.

02:28A small, secret room in the Jefferson Palace Hotel's attic that's believed to have been used in the 1800s

02:35by a family who, to avoid shame, hit a child with a disability or disfigurement when guests came over.

02:50And while such a room is inconceivable today, Jeremy is parked here.

02:56Because he thinks the room's dark history could make it the source of some paranormal activity within the building.

03:04And just moments into his vigil.

03:13My name is Jeremy, and these are my videos.

03:19As we were in there, we were hearing noises, footsteps, the usual thing we hear here at the hotel.

03:25So I decided to snap some photos.

03:30It's really dark in that disappointments room, so as I was snapping the photos, I was editing them, just making

03:36them brighter.

03:38One particular photo stood out.

03:42I kind of froze up, because I knew what I saw.

03:48And what he saw was this.

03:53It was a little boy, pushed back about five feet, coming out of the hole, which is the original entrance

04:02to the disappointments room.

04:04You know, I started getting emotional.

04:08You can see the little boy had a jacket on, buttons.

04:12The thing that really stood out to me, though, is the facial expression on the boy.

04:18It's almost like he was disfigured, which would make a lot of sense if it was in, you know, a

04:24disappointments room.

04:29This image is really impressive, in my opinion.

04:34A lot of times, you look at these so-called ghost photos, and you have to squint to try to

04:41figure out what the other person says they've captured.

04:45But, in this case, this looks like a young person, likely a little boy, with a cropped collar and this

04:56somewhat mournful expression.

05:01It's unmistakable.

05:03There is an image of what looks like a, perhaps, young boy wearing, it looks like a peacoat.

05:10Right?

05:10I don't know how you can say that is not.

05:12And the face itself, I will point out, does have some kind of grotesque features.

05:21The look on the face of the boy is really kind of sorrowful.

05:29If, in fact, this is the spirit of the boy who once inhabited that bedroom in the attic, you can

05:37certainly understand why he would feel that way.

05:40My immediate thought is that his spirit stayed within this place.

05:45He was almost held into this room, not allowed to leave.

05:48So, it almost seems he was a prisoner in real life.

05:53And in the spirit realm, he's also stuck in this particular room.

05:58And it seems the boy's spirit isn't the only one stuck within the hotel walls.

06:06Another day, Jeremy wakes up to find some curtains drawn across one of the hallways.

06:12But when he checks the security camera to see who pulled them closed,

06:20no one is there.

06:23And what Jeremy sees when he looks at the curtains from another camera angle is even creepier.

06:32Probably about eight feet past where the curtains got pulled, there was a shadow on the door.

06:39Well, then all of a sudden, the shadow turns into a solid figure.

06:49It almost looked like it was cloaked.

06:51And it was approximately eight feet tall.

06:59If, in fact, this is what's known as a shadow figure,

07:02it's certainly doing just what shadow figures seem to always be doing in videos.

07:07And that is to kind of peek around from around a corner

07:12and then quickly make their exit.

07:19You would probably be not too far off if we said that is connected,

07:24whatever the shadow was, to the movement of the curtains.

07:29So you kind of have a culprit, you have an action,

07:32and it's captured from at least two different angles.

07:40When you see something like that on camera,

07:44you start to wonder,

07:47am I being watched all the time?

07:52Are there spirits everywhere,

07:54and I just can't see them, but they can see me,

07:56and they're playing tricks on me?

08:01If they are,

08:03Jeremy and his family

08:04don't seem to be too bothered by them.

08:07It seems like almost every day

08:09something happens to where

08:11a normal person would come in here

08:13and be very shocked

08:14about, you know, maybe something flying off the wall

08:18or hearing a disembodied voice in the next room

08:21or a door opening and closing.

08:23Whereas, you know, that's our daily lives,

08:27and so it doesn't really shock us

08:28that much anymore.

08:31Which is good,

08:33because let's face it,

08:34they did purchase

08:36a haunted hotel.

08:45Coming up,

08:46a couple driving in California

08:51has a close call

08:53with a ghost.

09:05Because of its sharp curves,

09:08narrow lanes,

09:10roaming wildlife,

09:11and hilly terrain,

09:15California's Highway 17

09:17is known as one of the most dangerous freeways

09:20in the country.

09:23So much so

09:24that locals have dubbed the road

09:28Killer 17.

09:30A nickname earned

09:32not only for the treacherous driving conditions,

09:36but also

09:38as one couple recently discovered

09:40for the ghosts

09:42of those who've been killed there.

09:55May 2025,

09:57outside of Santa Cruz,

09:59California.

10:01Sabrina Valderrama

10:03and CJ Esparza

10:04are traveling back home

10:06from a friend's concert.

10:09when their vehicle's

10:10navigation app

10:11takes them

10:12unexpectedly

10:13onto Highway 17.

10:20And while the

10:21unfamiliar stretch of road

10:23is a bit of a challenge

10:24for Sabrina,

10:25it seems

10:26straightforward enough.

10:28That is,

10:29until this happens.

10:31Watch closely.

10:42As Sabrina and CJ

10:44cruise down 17,

10:47a figure

10:48seemingly

10:49standing between

10:51lanes of the highway

10:52and scaring the life

10:56out of both

10:57Sabrina

10:58and CJ.

11:04I'm CJ.

11:05And this is our video.

11:07When we were driving downhill,

11:09we didn't realize

11:10we were, like,

11:11in mountain area

11:12and up high

11:14and going downhill

11:14because we were unfamiliar

11:16with the road.

11:17We didn't drive it

11:17during the day

11:18when we drove up.

11:19So I'm just trying

11:21to control

11:21and just focus

11:22on coasting,

11:23realizing we're

11:24picking up speed.

11:28And when

11:29that thing appeared,

11:31I screamed

11:34because I don't scream.

11:35I'm not a screamer.

11:36It scared me

11:38half to death

11:39because then

11:40my thought process

11:41says,

11:42what was that?

11:42And then,

11:43oh my God,

11:44we almost died

11:44because if I would've

11:45hit that person,

11:46it would've, you know,

11:46injured them,

11:47killed them,

11:47and then we could've

11:48pulled off the road.

11:50It was hurt.

11:53But for Sabrina

11:54and CJ,

11:55perhaps the most horrifying

11:56part of the experience

11:58happens the following morning

11:59when they check

12:01what their vehicle's

12:02side and back dash cams

12:03recorded at the time

12:05of the incident.

12:07Watch and listen

12:09very closely.

12:20while the front dash cam

12:22and Sabrina and CJ

12:24pick up a figure,

12:26the back dash cam

12:27and side dash cam

12:30capture nothing.

12:32On that back window angle,

12:34we didn't realize

12:35until later

12:36that there is

12:38a street light

12:39shining in that space.

12:40So if he were to just

12:43run towards

12:44the cliff wall,

12:46you would've been able

12:48to see something.

12:49You would've been able

12:50to see if he, like,

12:51got stuck in his footing

12:52and he went back

12:54or continued onward

12:55down the free hill.

12:56You would've been able

12:57to see it,

12:57but you don't see

12:58any of that,

12:58which makes it

12:59really weird.

13:04This is the spooky fuel

13:07that I fill my car up with.

13:09I thrive on this

13:11kind of footage.

13:12I love it so much.

13:13It's so weird and creepy

13:15and also frickin' unsettling.

13:18It looks like a fairly

13:21contemporarily dressed person.

13:22This isn't like an

13:23old-timey image

13:24of a person

13:25standing in the middle

13:26of the road.

13:26It looks like

13:27it really could be

13:29a living human

13:30standing in the middle

13:32of the road

13:32just narrowly missing

13:34being seriously injured

13:36or killed by being hit

13:37by this car.

13:40It really has me confused,

13:42right?

13:42It's semi-transparent

13:43at first,

13:44then it's solid enough

13:46that it casts a shadow,

13:47but then when you look

13:48in the rear-view camera,

13:49it's gone.

13:50It's not there,

13:51sort of there,

13:52and then gone altogether.

13:54So then,

13:55if it just simply vanished,

13:58then what exactly

14:01was that thing?

14:02The first thought

14:03that pops in my mind

14:04is this person

14:05may be there

14:06because they were

14:07in a car accident

14:08or there was a fatality

14:10in this particular spot,

14:11and that's why

14:11they seem to be

14:12showing up

14:13or revealing themselves there.

14:16Possibly.

14:17And given the stretch

14:18of road Sabrina

14:19and CJ were driving on,

14:21that certainly makes sense.

14:24California State Route 17,

14:26or as it's better known,

14:27Killer 17,

14:28is a 27-mile stretch

14:30of road

14:30that is known

14:32to be quite treacherous

14:33because of its narrow lanes

14:35and blinds

14:36and sharp curves.

14:39History is full

14:40of stories

14:41of roadside ghosts.

14:44Ghosts who appear

14:45at the site

14:46of an accident,

14:47at the site

14:47of their own

14:48tragic accident,

14:49at the site

14:49of other accidents

14:50as warnings,

14:51to forestall

14:52future accidents.

14:54This whole concept

14:55is incredibly common,

14:57something that we see

14:58worldwide.

14:59So the fact

15:00that this footage

15:01was captured

15:02on this particular road

15:04to me says

15:05100% paranormal.

15:10It was in the back

15:10of my mind,

15:11I was like,

15:11oh man,

15:12I've heard this story

15:12so many times

15:13about the ghost

15:14crossing the Warwick Road

15:15or I almost hit someone

15:16or, you know,

15:17but they weren't there,

15:18you know,

15:19mysteriously.

15:20But yeah,

15:20it was in the back

15:20of my mind.

15:21I definitely went there.

15:23And having done so,

15:25both CJ and Sabrina

15:27learned what they consider

15:29to be some life-changing

15:30lessons.

15:32Growing up

15:33in the Bay Area,

15:35you always heard

15:35about Highway 17,

15:37always about the watchers

15:39or the ghost stories,

15:41how, you know,

15:42so many people die

15:43on that highway.

15:45I learned that

15:46all the stories

15:46of Highway 17

15:47are real.

15:49The ghost stories

15:50are true.

15:52And if you believe

15:53in them

15:53or if you don't,

15:54you'll probably

15:55see something.

15:57And then also

15:58to be a cautious driver

15:59and, you know,

16:00pay attention

16:00to your surroundings.

16:01And to invest

16:02in a dash cam

16:03because you never know

16:04what you're going

16:04to catch.

16:05Yeah.

17:19farmstead.

17:20They say it's haunted.

17:21who passed

17:22right by something

17:23that his camera

17:24couldn't miss.

17:42November 2017.

17:44Just outside of

17:45Knoxville, Tennessee.

17:49Look at this.

17:51out here in the middle

17:52of nothing.

17:53It's about 3 a.m.,

17:55and John Turner

17:56is exploring

17:57a 100-year-old farm

17:59for his online followers.

18:01This is an abandoned

18:02farmstead

18:03that has been abandoned

18:05for a long time.

18:06They say it's haunted.

18:08Growing up nearby,

18:10John has heard

18:11macabre stories

18:12about the property,

18:14including

18:15someone being murdered there,

18:18and another person

18:20dying by suicide,

18:24which has led him

18:26to believe

18:26that its haunted

18:27reputation

18:28is well-earned.

18:31My name is John,

18:32and this is my video.

18:37As I got on the property,

18:38it was just a calm

18:40stillness.

18:40You know,

18:41you kind of felt

18:41the eeriness.

18:42I attributed it to being

18:44an abandoned building

18:45setting in the woods

18:46for many years.

18:47This is actually

18:48a thriving farm

18:49at one point.

18:49I felt really

18:50at peace there,

18:51but it definitely

18:52had kind of

18:53that eerie vibe

18:54of, like,

18:55you didn't feel

18:56like you were alone.

18:58And it turns out

18:59he may not be,

19:02because as he moves

19:03to scan the property

19:04with his camera,

19:06watch very closely.

19:16Did you see it?

19:19Watch again

19:20as John's camera

19:22picks up

19:23what appears to be

19:25an apparition

19:26of a woman

19:26with long,

19:27dark hair

19:28standing

19:29next to a tree,

19:32which John

19:33doesn't notice

19:34until he posts it online,

19:36and one of his

19:37eagle-eyed viewers

19:39points it out.

19:41I got a message

19:42from someone saying,

19:44hey,

19:44at this timestamp,

19:46there's something weird

19:47in the background.

19:47It looks like

19:48a woman.

19:51Sure enough,

19:52as you slow it down

19:53and freeze it,

19:55there is an apparition

19:56of a woman

19:57standing there

19:58watching me,

19:59essentially.

20:00And I realized

20:01what I was looking at,

20:02I'm like,

20:02I kind of put chills

20:03on it,

20:03because I didn't even

20:04see it.

20:08When you kind of

20:09hone in on that moment

20:10and you freeze

20:11on this apparition

20:12of a woman,

20:13it's almost kind of

20:14phantom-esque.

20:15And one thing

20:16that really unnerves

20:18me about this

20:18is the way

20:20she's kind of

20:21positioned,

20:22the way she's

20:22standing kind of

20:25in this bent

20:26neck

20:27and straight

20:28body.

20:32It almost

20:33is reminiscent

20:35of when

20:36somebody,

20:37you know,

20:38has hanged

20:39themselves.

20:40It's very

20:41unnerving.

20:44It's a solid

20:45full-bodied apparition.

20:47It seemed

20:48to be

20:49glowing

20:50in its own

20:51kind of

20:52ethereal light,

20:53comparatively speaking,

20:55to, like,

20:55the rest of the

20:56things that

20:56he was shooting.

20:59She obviously

21:00stood out

21:01against the

21:02backdrop

21:02of the

21:03night woods.

21:08The fact

21:09that he didn't

21:10see it

21:10until he

21:10played it

21:11back later,

21:12you would

21:12think

21:13a white-clad

21:15jet-black

21:16haired

21:17figure,

21:18you would

21:18see this.

21:21This happens

21:22a lot.

21:23We still

21:24don't know

21:24why sometimes

21:25we don't

21:26catch things

21:26with our eyes

21:27or our senses,

21:28but our

21:29devices do.

21:34A lot more

21:35foliage in here

21:35since the last

21:36time I was here.

21:38Blown away

21:39by the possibility

21:40he crossed paths

21:41with a spirit,

21:42John returns

21:43to the farmstead

21:44later to see

21:45if something

21:46else could

21:46have been

21:47mistaken for

21:48the apparition.

21:49Okay, so

21:50we're here

21:50at the tree.

21:53I searched

21:54the place

21:55high and low.

21:56I set up

21:56exactly the way

21:57I was in the

21:58daytime.

21:59You see that

21:59tree right here.

22:01I waited

22:02until dark

22:02and did the

22:04exact same

22:04movements I did

22:05to try to

22:05recreate this

22:06moment.

22:07I explored

22:07the area

22:08around the tree

22:09where you

22:09see the

22:10figure.

22:10As I started

22:11here, I just

22:12kind of panned

22:13around and

22:14could not

22:15create it or

22:16find anything

22:17that would

22:18have caused

22:18that apparition

22:19to be there.

22:23So, if there

22:25is no natural

22:25explanation for

22:26it, who

22:28or what was

22:30out there with

22:31John that night?

22:32You know, a lot

22:33of these locations,

22:34even though there's

22:35no longer human

22:36activity or anybody

22:37living there, they

22:39do have some sort

22:40of energy or

22:41memory from when

22:44someone was living

22:45there.

22:45And that apparition

22:46could be a previous

22:47owner or someone

22:49associated with that

22:51home.

22:56Whatever the case,

22:58even though John

22:59didn't see the ghost

23:00with his own eyes

23:00that night, he

23:03believes that what

23:03his camera captured

23:04is tangible proof

23:06of the afterlife.

23:08To someone who is

23:09into the paranormal

23:10community, that's

23:11considered the holy

23:12grail is capturing

23:13a full apparition.

23:14I'm very happy and

23:16proud that I was able

23:17to capture that.

23:26Coming up, did a

23:29Loch Ness.

23:32Capture proof of

23:34Nessie.

23:43It's believed that

23:45cryptids possess the

23:47ability to evade

23:48humans in a variety

23:51of ways, like skin

23:55walkers, shape-shifting

23:58into animals or

24:00people.

24:04Bigfoot, camouflaging

24:05itself to blend into

24:06the environment.

24:08And the Mothman,

24:11flying away at speeds

24:13of up to 100 miles

24:14per hour.

24:15But as more and more

24:17cameras cover the

24:18earth, some recording

24:2024 hours a day, seven

24:23days a week, that ease

24:25of anonymity could be

24:27coming to an end.

24:28And one need look no

24:30further for proof of

24:31this than what one

24:33webcam captured at the

24:35birthplace of perhaps the

24:38biggest cryptic of them

24:40all.

24:54An avid Nessie hunter is at

24:57home on his computer,

24:59watching one of several

25:00live webcam streams that

25:02overlook Scotland's

25:03Loch Ness.

25:05Hoping for the off chance,

25:07he'll spot the legendary

25:09cryptid.

25:10When lo and behold,

25:13something catches his

25:14eye.

25:16Watch closely.

25:21Did you see it?

25:23Watch again, as what

25:25appears to be a large

25:27mass breaches the surface

25:30before quickly disappearing

25:33back into the abyss.

25:36Thinking it may be a

25:38glimpse of the elusive lake

25:39monster, the viewer reports

25:42the sighting to the tourism

25:43board that maintains the

25:45cameras, which quickly

25:46triggers a close review of

25:48the footage by Ellen

25:49Walker, destination

25:51director, a visit in

25:53Verness, Loch Ness.

25:55I'm Ellen, and this is footage

25:57from one of our webcams.

25:59The cameras that we have set

26:01up cover the length of the

26:02law.

26:03We are very fortunate to

26:05have a team of very

26:08dedicated Nessie hunters who

26:10do surveil our footage and

26:13watch the webcams on a daily

26:15basis.

26:15And they are very well trained at

26:18looking out for very minute

26:20changes in waves and things

26:22like that to distinguish

26:23between what they consider to

26:25be optical illusions and real

26:28Nessie sightings.

26:29So what I see in the clip is

26:31absolutely a disturbance in the

26:32water, and there's potential of

26:35it being a large creature in the

26:36water for sure.

26:37And I think it's one of the most

26:39compelling instances where we've

26:40been able to capture it on

26:41footage.

26:44It does really kind of have the

26:46hallmarks of what we would see

26:47in those grainy old black and

26:49white images of Nessie coming

26:52out of the loch.

26:53Something black is kind of

26:54emerging from under the water.

26:56We can see it rising up, and it

26:58appears that this long neck

26:59creature, if you will, comes out

27:01with a very small head, prehistoric

27:04in nature, and obviously it's not a

27:05massive piece of driftwood bursting

27:08up and then going back down.

27:09This was something that was sentient,

27:12aware, mobile, and intelligent.

27:16It has to be large.

27:18I mean, this is something that, to

27:20me, seems to be bigger than a boat.

27:23It's so visible when it does come out

27:25of the water and go back in that we

27:27might just be seeing a small piece of

27:30the Loch Ness monster.

27:31Whatever this thing is, it's certainly

27:34much larger than the usual species of

27:39all the fish and other wildlife that

27:41live in Loch Ness.

27:42But despite its relatively

27:44substantial size, the dark figure

27:47isn't quite the behemoth one might

27:49expect, especially when compared to

27:53previous sightings, leading some to

27:56belief. It could be a juvenile.

28:00It's reasonable that this wouldn't be

28:03the same creature that's been sighted

28:06throughout the centuries.

28:08Instead, it would have to reproduce.

28:11So maybe this is not Nessie the original,

28:16but maybe Nessie 2.0, 3.0, maybe 6.0.

28:22And if so, maybe this newer Nessie will

28:26be a little more amenable to being

28:27captured on camera, considering how

28:30many of these devices are now

28:32continuously streaming from its home

28:33base.

28:34The fact that now we can use technology

28:38to really enable us to better engage

28:41the marvelous and the fantastical is

28:45maybe, in my obviously biased opinion,

28:47one of the best uses of this kind of

28:49technology that we have.

28:51We can tune in.

28:52We can go back and review footage.

28:54We can let artificial intelligence

28:56tell us motion was detected.

28:58Make sure you look at this particular

28:59time window.

29:00All of that just ups our chances of

29:03being able to engage with these

29:05incredible legends.

29:06And I think that is an incredible

29:08benefit.

29:09Which, according to Ellen, is not just

29:12the point of their webcams, but the

29:14Loch Ness monster legend itself.

29:17Nessie is more than just a monster, and

29:20so is this entire area.

29:21I think Nessie is a symbol of the

29:24community of storytellers that we have

29:26within the highlands, and that spirit

29:29And for many people, a trip to Loch Ness

29:31is not as achievable.

29:32And the webcams that are around Loch Ness,

29:35the Nessie cans, are one of the services

29:37we feel is necessary to provide, and

29:39hopefully enable people to feel connected

29:42to the Loch in ways that they might not

29:44have been able to.

31:09January 17th, 2024, Rock Springs, Wyoming.

31:17Rachel Yednack is outside when she spots something peculiar in the sky.

31:25So, she pulls out her phone, and starts to record.

31:31It's a distant, white, tic-tac-shaped object, darting across the sky.

31:37And Rachel is sure that it's not only a UFO, but it's also very aware of her presence.

31:52My name is Rachel, and these are my videos.

32:01I looked up in the sky, and there it was.

32:04And I saw it go behind that pine tree.

32:07So, I walked over there, and I stood in front of that pine tree.

32:10And any time I would move right, it would shoot out the back side of the tree left.

32:16Any time I went left, it shot out to the right side.

32:24And it really felt playful and intentional.

32:31You can clearly see this isn't a plane.

32:33This isn't a helicopter.

32:34It seems to be reacting to the person, the experiencer.

32:39There seems to be some sort of a connection to them.

32:43A connection that, according to Rachel, started over a decade ago.

32:50With one extraordinary event.

32:54I stepped out onto my front porch one evening to watch the sky.

33:00And saw a strange object coming from the west, headed east in my direction.

33:06And I questioned, is that an airplane?

33:12The next thing I know, I am in a triangle craft.

33:21Then, I was placed back on my porch.

33:25Kind of at what I describe as a time loop.

33:33Repeating the same actions that I was prior to being inside of that triangle craft.

33:39And after that happened, it was a slow progression with these orbs and other things that I see.

33:48A slow progression that has led to hundreds of encounters.

34:01This one, glowing red and white.

34:06Those are what I call fireballs.

34:09And that's what they look like in person.

34:11They look like giant balls of fire.

34:15Constantly strobing with different colors.

34:20Even more remarkable is that Rachel claims these objects show up whenever she invites them to.

34:29As evidenced by what happened on this night.

34:37When another orb appears to be responding to Rachel.

34:40As she flashes a red light toward the sky.

34:47It's really not uncommon within the UFO experiencer or abductee community.

34:53For people to believe that they have a special relationship with these extraterrestrial visitors.

35:02I think of it more as being a participant in a relationship, connection, or partnership.

35:11A partnership that has led her to become a MUFON field investigator.

35:18MUFON, or the Mutual UFO Network as it's called, is one of the oldest UFO, or now we call UAP,

35:28You can actually go become certified as a MUFON investigator by going through their training programs, which are actually quite

35:36It's a position that Rachel, needless to say, is uniquely qualified for.

35:56I always feel fascinated and intrigued, and I feel seen.

36:30One's faith can profoundly affect how they see the world and influence how they interpret what happens around them.

36:55And while non-believers may simply chalk these things up to wishful thinking.

37:02Some events, like what happened one day in the Philippines, are so seemingly obvious, it's almost impossible to see it

37:13as anything other than...

37:29Naga City, the Philippines

37:32A local church is holding a youth day

37:36where hundreds of young people have gathered to pray

37:42But this special event becomes much, much more so

37:46as they begin to file out of the church

37:51and see this

37:55A vertical, wispy cloud

38:00that looks remarkably

38:03like perhaps the most meaningful figure

38:07in the Christian faith

38:11This is a pretty traditional depiction of Jesus

38:15We get a sense of legs, arms outstretched

38:18We even get a pretty clear indication that they're wearing a robe

38:22or some sort of flowing garment

38:24You don't even really have to believe that this is a miraculous manifestation

38:29to think, wow, that's incredibly cool

38:33I don't know

38:35I was ready to just say this is pareidolia

38:39and us seeing a recognizable shape in a random pattern

38:45but I can't say that

38:47I see a human-like shape in those clouds

38:51and on top of that

38:54it was spotted over a large community of worshipers

39:00near a basilica

39:02That's a hell of a coincidence

39:04or, sorry, a heavenly coincidence

39:08The way clouds usually form and appear

39:12because of crosswinds and whatnot

39:14it's usually a horizontal vector

39:16This was almost as if something flew up through the cloud

39:20making this vertical column

39:23It didn't look like it was naturally formed

39:27Was it intelligently formed?

39:29Was it meant as a sign?

39:32Maybe

39:33And if so

39:34It certainly

39:38wouldn't be the first time

39:39Throughout the Old and New Testament

39:42of the Judeo-Christian Bible

39:44there are more than 100 references

39:46to clouds as symbols of God's presence

39:51They occur in Genesis

39:53Revelations

39:55Appearing to Noah, Moses

39:58and also as a symbol of the Holy Spirit

40:01So clouds being connected to a heavenly appearance

40:06is nothing new

40:08Whatever it is

40:09It's not something that the powers that be

40:12take for granted

40:14The Catholic Church in fact just updated their policies

40:18on how they determine what is considered a miracle

40:20They have what's called the dicastry of the doctrines of the faith

40:24And there's actually a protocol now

40:27to determine when something can be put in the record books as a miracle

40:31And while it's unknown

40:33what the official stance is on the sighting

40:36After video of it is widely seen

40:39More than 8,000 people travel to the basilica

40:42to pray in honor of the incredible sight

40:46When you see something like this

40:48actually attracting all these other people to go there

40:52People are seeking that spiritual connection to the Creator, to God

40:57And maybe this served exactly its purpose

41:02People are looking for hope

41:05And this is definitely something that makes people want to

41:07really have something that they can look forward to

41:10and be happy about

41:11And nothing says that more than, you know, seeing a sign from the Lord

41:21What should you do in the event you witness something paranormal?
