Igor Tkachenko, May he will live forever

This is a tribute to the late Igor Tkachenko. Igor was born on 26 July 1964.

In 1985 he graduated from the Borisoglebsk Air Force Academy named after Valery Chkalov and in 2000 from the Gagarin Air Force Command and Staff College.
During his service with the Air Force, he flew the L-29, MiG-21, MiG-29 and Su-27.
He has a total flying time of More than 1,560 hours.

Possesses the "Military pilot-sniper" qualification. He has been flying the Russian knights aerobatics since 1989. Igor passed away when practicing for the MAKS airshow, two of the aircraft clipped in the air, Igor gave the order to eject. During parachute deployment, wrechage struck and caught Igor's parachute on fire, he did not survive the fall.
