00:00He sent to the statements of Pedro Infante, the first vice president of the National Assembly.
00:10Saludos.
00:12Greetings to all present here this day.
00:16In this important meeting in the Nueva Sparta State here in Margarita,
00:21I bring an embrace in the first place from the acting president, Daz Rodríguez,
00:25and also from Dr. Jorge Rodríguez, the president of the National Assembly,
00:29I wanted to accompany this day today, but due to personal family issues, he could not be here.
00:39I want to welcome the message with clarity, with ideas and proposals made by the spokespersons here,
00:49the head of the chamber, entrepreneur sector.
01:07We are in a pilgrimage.
01:12We came to carry out this pilgrimage to the North Sparta State, Margarita.
01:18This is the sixth state that we have visited.
01:21We have been walking since from Amazonas, Bolivar, Guayana Ezequiva.
01:25We were in Monaga.
01:27And yesterday we were in Delta Macuro.
01:29Today we have to be here in Margarita.
01:33We're going to then be in Sucre, in Miranda, until we reach Caracas.
01:38Three routes of the pilgrimage.
01:40Well, we have listened to different opinions, ideas from a group of people, from different people,
01:47businessmen, media workers, people from different political parties,
01:50from all social sectors, cultural sectors, economic sectors of the country.
01:56We have listened and we have received blessings and expressions from different religions even in the country.
02:06But there's a priest that said to do this pilgrimage is not only to walk.
02:14It was in Bolivar.
02:16He said it's not only about walking.
02:18It's about walking together with faith and hope.
02:24And I would say that today this act of pilgrimage in Venezuela, across the country, in the three routes,
02:31and here in Margarita, we are walking together.
02:34Acknowledging that we are different, respecting each other,
02:39and putting above all of any individual interest something which is a common interest, which is Venezuela.
02:52It says, united for Venezuela, free of sanctions and peace.
02:57This is the main idea, to be united for a Venezuela free of sanctions and in peace.
03:04And in this pilgrimage, we're making great efforts to call on us, to include all of us.
03:13Recognizing that in Venezuela and Margarita, there's not only Chavistas, there's not only opposition sectors.
03:21We recognize that there are Chavistas, that there are opposition sectors, and there's a lot of independence.
03:26There are many people that are not part of any political party.
03:30But recognizing as well that the blockade sanctions have harmed all of us.
03:38It has also harmed the economic circuits, the private sector.
03:43It has impacted the family economy.
03:46It has also harmed the budget of a municipality for the public management of any mayor or governor.
03:57I'm certain that fishermen of Trestinga have also suffered, they have suffered, also the impact of the sanctions and the
04:10blockade.
04:11And an owner of a restaurant, or of any small cafeteria, they have also felt the impact of the sanctions
04:26and blockade.
04:27I'm certain that from the businessmen here in the chamber, all the way down to the fishermen,
04:36they will all come to the same conclusion that it would be better for Venezuela without sanctions.
04:42So what are these sanctions?
04:45Someone tried to say many times that that has nothing to do with us, that it only attacks the government,
04:51it's only these people.
04:53Well, it's not true.
04:55When we cannot import the engines for the boats of the fishermen, you see there the impact of the sanctions.
05:02And if we have an issue for the production of fuel, there you have the impact of the sanctions that
05:10also impacts all of us.
