00:00Hey everyone, have you ever had a nightmare that stayed with you for years?
00:03One that kept clawing at the back of your mind even though it was just a movie?
00:07Because that's exactly what 28 Days Later did.
00:10It wasn't just a zombie film, it changed zombie films forever.
00:14And now, after nearly 3 decades, it's back.
00:17This, is 28 Years Later and what I'm about to share will send chills down your spine.
00:22Because this isn't just a sequel.
00:24It's a reawakening.
00:26Let's get into it.
00:27It's been over 20 years since director Danny Boyle and writer Alex Garland released 28 Days Later.
00:33The film that redefined what it meant to be afraid.
00:35It wasn't about slow, groaning zombies anymore.
00:39These things, they ran.
00:40They screamed.
00:42They hunted you.
00:43That raw fear?
00:44That wasn't fantasy.
00:45That was something you felt in your gut.
00:47And now, in 2025, they're back.
00:51Boyle.
00:52Garland.
00:52The Rage Virus.
00:54This is 28 Years Later.
00:56So what do we know?
00:57Let's start with the latest news and trust me, it's huge.
01:00At CinemaCon 2025, a brand new trailer dropped behind closed doors.
01:05The public hasn't seen it yet, but insiders?
01:08They haven't.
01:09What they've shared is intense.
01:11The trailer opens with three soldiers in pitch black darkness.
01:14Tension builds.
01:15Silence, then boom.
01:17One infected charges out of the shadows.
01:20Cut to a haunting voice.
01:21Many people dead, infected and non-infected alike.
01:24We see an island.
01:26Then we hear it, once you walk onto that mainland, there's no rescue.
01:30The screen flashes.
01:32People running.
01:33Screaming.
01:34Fighting.
01:35Blood.
01:36Fire.
01:36Aaron Taylor Johnson and a young boy are sprinting, terrified, with a swarm of infected behind them.
01:42It's chaos.
01:43But it's also, familiar.
01:45Like the world we left behind in 28 Days Later, just even more broken.
01:49So, when is it coming?
01:5228 Years Later hits theaters on June 20, 2025.
01:56Mark that date.
01:57Set your alarms.
01:58This isn't just another movie this is a moment in horror history.
02:02And there's more.
02:03The sequel, titled The Bone Temple, is already scheduled for January 16, 2026.
02:09That's right this is a trilogy.
02:11A full story arc is coming.
02:13And the third film?
02:14It's planned, but not yet finessed.
02:16That means our support could help make it happen.
02:19Now, let's talk cast and wow, it's stacked.
02:22The leads?
02:23Aaron Taylor Johnson and Jodie Comer.
02:25Powerhouse actors.
02:26You've seen Aaron in Bullet Train, and Jodie in Killing Eve now.
02:30They play Isla and Jamie, a married couple living in a fragile world.
02:34They're raising their son, Spike, played by Alfie Williams, on an isolated island.
02:40Safe, for now.
02:41But things don't stay quiet forever.
02:44Then there's Ralph Fiennes as Dr. Kelson.
02:46We don't know much, but from the trailer?
02:48He's seen things.
02:50He's a survivor.
02:51But whether he's a friend, or a threat?
02:54That's the mystery.
02:55Jack O'Connell plays Sir Jimmy Crystal, a cult leader who's set to appear in all three films.
03:00Creepy?
03:01Definitely.
03:02Dangerous?
03:03Almost certainly.
03:04We've also got Aaron Kellyman.
03:06Her role is unknown for now, but she always brings depth.
03:09And Edvin Riding is Isun Kvist, a Swedish NATO soldier, crossing into English territory during
03:15his patrol.
03:16That means yes NATO is still out there.
03:18The world hasn't ended, just England.
03:20Here's a quick look at the full cast.
03:22Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Jamie, Jodie Comer as Isla, Alfie Williams as Spike, Ralph Fiennes
03:28as Dr. Kelson, Jack O'Connell as Sir Jimmy Crystal, Aaron Kellyman role unknown, Edvin
03:33Riding as Isun Kvist, oh, and Cillian Murphy?
03:37The original star?
03:38He's not in this film, yet.
03:40But he's producing.
03:42That tour?
03:43Very much open.
03:44Now let's dive into the story and this is where things get really interesting.
03:47It's been 30 years since the rage virus first tore through London.
03:52Three decades.
03:53Britain?
03:54It's been in total quarantine.
03:55The rest of the world?
03:57Moved on.
03:58But the UK?
03:59Frozen in time.
04:01Paused.
04:02Like a wound that never healed.
04:03A community of survivors has managed to live in isolation on an island off the coast of England.
04:08This is where we meet Isla and Jamie, raising their son, Spike.
04:12But now Spike is coming of age.
04:14And that means he has to leave.
04:16It's part of a rite of passage.
04:18A journey to the mainland.
04:20But the moment they step foot on the other side?
04:22Everything changes.
04:24The rage virus hasn't died out.
04:26It's evolved.
04:27And what they find there, isn't just terrifying.
04:30It's inhuman.
04:31The world they once knew is gone.
04:33What's left is something else.
04:35Something darker.
04:36So what happened after 28 weeks later?
04:39You remember the ending the virus spreads to Paris.
04:41Well, the new movie doesn't ignore that.
04:44The creators Garland, Boyle, and producer Andrew McDonald have said that the world did see the virus go beyond Britain.
04:50But it's unclear how far it spread.
04:53Maybe France contained it.
04:55Maybe the rest of Europe never got infected.
04:57But England?
04:58England stayed sick.
05:00And the question now?
05:01What if the virus doesn't stay there forever?
05:04Let's talk about the trilogy.
05:0528 years later is just the beginning.
05:07The second film is The Bone Temple, coming January 16, 2026.
05:13No plot details yet, but we know Jack O'Connell's cult leader will return.
05:17And something about that title?
05:19It screams ritual.
05:20Secrets.
05:21Blood.
05:22The third film is still a mystery.
05:24No title, no date.
05:26But Danny Boyle is set to direct it.
05:28And that means we're in for a proper ending to the story.
05:31This isn't just a cash grab.
05:33It's a planned arc.
05:35A vision.
05:35And it's personal for the creators they've waited decades to tell this story the right way.
05:40Now the trailers.
05:41In December 2024, a teaser dropped.
05:45No dialogue.
05:46Just flashes of images of skull.
05:48A biohazard symbol.
05:49The sound of Morse code.
05:51Spelling out one word, Tuesday.
05:53Chilling, right?
05:55And then the full trailer arrived.
05:57It started with a recap.
05:59The outbreak.
06:00The chaos.
06:01The collapse.
06:02Then we jump forward.
06:04Over 10,000 days later.
06:05A society has formed.
06:07Heavily fortified.
06:09Paranoid.
06:10Alone.
06:11But when some of them go back to the mainland.
06:13All hell breaks loose.
06:15The infected are still out there.
06:17And they're not done.
06:18You know what's powerful about this film?
06:20It's not just zombies.
06:22It's us.
06:23It's the fear of the unknown.
06:25The need to protect our families.
06:26The desperation to survive.
06:28It's about what happens when we isolate ourselves for so long, that we forget how to be human.
06:33And it's real.
06:35Not in a literal sense, but emotionally.
06:37It taps into everything we've been through.
06:39Isolation, fear, a world that suddenly changed overnight.
06:43We know that feeling.
06:44We lived it.
06:45That's what makes 28 years later so powerful.
06:48It's not just horror.
06:50It's heartbreak.
06:51And here's where you come in.
06:53If you're excited about this film if you want this trilogy to succeed share this video.

07:21In a world that's paused for 30 years where fear lives in every shadow and the infected are still waiting
07:26only one question remains.
07:27How much time do we have left?
07:29Thanks for watching, everyone.
