00:00Of course I'm happy.
00:01Anytime you add to your offensive line group, you build depth.
00:07Maybe you have an instant starter if he slides in to play right guard
00:10while Luminor is your right tackle.
00:13And when Luminor ages out, then he slides over to right tackle.
00:15Anytime you build that kind of depth up front,
00:18you've got to feel good about an extra pick that you secured in the first round.
00:22But I think the Arvel Reese falling to the New York Giants,
00:28it's more outstanding than I could have thought.
00:32One, I've always thought the Giants in this draft were taking a linebacker
00:36because they needed to fill a void that they've had for a couple of years.
00:40This impact, green dot as we talked about, leader who is versatile,
00:45can do so many things.
00:46I was listening to, I forget what podcast it was,
00:49but they were talking about the draft and it said the Giants right now
00:52with Brian Burns and Abdul Carter and Kayvon Thibodeau
00:57and now with Arvel Reese have a bunch of werewolves on defense.
01:01And I thought it was a good description
01:02because they're a pack that can do a lot of different things.
01:06Now, I think people are confused by Arvel Reese
01:09and it's probably why the Jets decided to go with David Bailey instead
01:12because he gets classified as this edge rusher.
01:16But he only was sometimes an edge rusher.
01:18A lot of times he was in the well.
01:20Sometimes he was a QB spy.
01:22He's like this elite athlete that you sometimes forgot about
01:24because there's so many great players on Ohio State's defense.
01:28But he's going to give Denard Wilson a ton of versatility defensively
01:34and it's what I thought the Jets would draft him for.
01:36We talked a lot about Arvel Reese with the Jets more than the Giants.
01:39Because of that versatility.
01:40Yeah, yeah.
01:41And now he's going to get to do it with my team?
01:43I think it's outstanding.
01:45I think they nailed this draft
01:47and maybe they got lucky because of Arvel Reese fell.
01:50But I love that as soon as he was available,
01:53Pick was in.
