00:00But I feel like at the very least, the Giants need,
00:04and Sean and I came to this conclusion of what to call this player
00:08because it's not a specific position.
00:10The Giants need a green dot defender.
00:13They need a defender who is your leader, who is taking charge,
00:17who is in command of everything that's out there.
00:21And I'm not necessarily saying that needs to happen in 2026,
00:24but you need a player that by year two or very least year three
00:29is wearing that green dot and is the team captain,
00:33has become a dominant player.
00:34And I think it's either Sonny Stiles or Caleb Downs.
00:39Now, maybe they go Mansoor Delaney.
00:41He won't be a green dot guy because you can't do that out on the corner.
00:43But I feel like they need an impact defender,
00:47and I would love to have that happen at five.
00:50Now, you could do it at 10, like take whatever, wide receiver.
00:54It doesn't even matter.
00:55You could take something else at five and then go get that defender at 10.
00:59But I'd like to take the best defensive player available.
01:03It's going to be an impact player at number five.
01:06Because, look, if they're going to run a 3-4, you need impact players.
01:10You really do.
01:11You can't have small linebackers.
01:13You've got to have big linebackers in 3-4.
01:14You've got to have athletic linebackers in a 3-4.
01:16Or you've got to have a safety that is dominant in the box and also in coverage.
01:21So, to me, I'm thinking Sonny Stiles or Caleb Downs,
01:27even if taking Caleb Downs, who's a safety, and the top 10 is unprecedented,
01:32you're not desperate for any position so you can afford to do it.
