00:33in Iran in 2007 believed to have died in custody and his family says one of those round of those
00:39round 1 negotiators was involved in the kidnapping Robert Levinson son Dan joins us now Dan is the
00:47son of Robert and he is joining now I should correct it your dad was SCIA right yes yeah
00:55he was the contractor for the CIA at the time gotcha so first on his disappearance last time
01:00we saw you you knew of him his location was Kish Island now we're all getting to know these islands
01:06and what do you know about this ambassador that attended that now ambassador to Pakistan from Iran
01:12that attended these talks his name is Rosa Mogadam he's the current ambassador to Iran and there's
01:20only a few people in the world who know exactly what happened my dad yes so his dad was a
01:26CIA
01:27contractor and they got studied him and in that meantime his dad died involved in what happened
01:35my dad the FBI identified five of them one of them was killed in the initial airstrikes at the
01:41start of this conflict and another one is hiding in plain sight he's right out there he was at these
01:46talks helping coordinate things and it's a slap in the face to our family slap in the face the United
01:51States of America yes the US CIA contractor CIA agent of US is going like that and nobody is doing
01:59something is a slap in the face of US and they are doing negotiations with the terrorist I don't know
02:06what the heck he's doing over there and that Pakistanis allowed this it hurts their credibility as
02:12an independent intermediary between the two countries because they're allowing this man to take part in
02:18all this but it just shows you this regime is the one who put him in place they're proud of
02:23these these
02:24killers yes the top level officers in the Iranian regime are killers are terrorists and they put them in
02:33a top place yes it's it's shameful they need to be confronted the way that President Trump has been doing
02:40as he he noted um they only respond to pressure they only respond to strength uh he said the other
02:46day that he was screaming at the Iranians because that's the only language they understand they don't
02:51understand kindness we learned that in almost two decades of dealing with the Iranians and it's time
02:55that we need to keep confronting them and calling them out on things like this yes Trump warns Iran as
03:03a ceasefire set to end tomorrow everybody in US warns that the US will throw the war on Iran and
03:11show them
03:11who we are how stronger we are right so when people say oh this is a war of choice uh
03:17Iran was in a box what
03:18was your thought about that no well it needed to be done in my opinion because uh they were getting
03:25close to a nuclear
03:25weapon uh they massacred tens of thousands of their own people um they we had let things slide with
03:32the Iranians and given them back money and all of these exchanges and the that needed to be done that
03:39they needed to be held accountable it needed to be done and we really we really want to learn them
03:45a
03:45lesson that what it would be to do so bad in the world and not in the world into the
03:51international things
03:53okay three ways we're looking at from our family's perspective yes looking for them to be held
03:59accountable and justice for my dad and what they did yes we want justice for Robert so what have you
04:05learned in trying to find out what happened to your dad and you were informed by the trump
04:08administration that they have reason to believe that he's no longer alive what did you learn in
04:12trying to deal with the Iranians all those years exactly that they really just um they don't respond to

04:29Iran yes for mercy or anything like that that um you have to be tough with them we've met with
04:36them
04:36many times over the years my mom and i traveled to iran in the first year after my dad disappeared
04:40i went back 10 years ago just begging for any kind of um answers or any kind of justice for
04:47us and
04:47they just ignore it so what do you hope happens here i don't know um with with regarding the
04:55Iranian ambassador he should not be as part of the talks he he may have diplomatic community but he
05:00should not be there um the pakistanis need to continue to be called out for yes pakistanis need
05:06to be called out and everybody everybody who is helping them are killers are terrorists in this having him
05:13there and accepting them as iran's ambassador uh but we're hoping that iran's going to continue to
05:17pressure them uh that uh president trump's going to continue to pressure iran yes pressure the iran
05:22and make them surrender they had to surrender their nuclear weapon we cannot let them build it if they
05:27build it they will throw it to the america or miris uh hold them accountable um demand answers and
05:34justice for my family justice for robert and for a lot of other families too uh yes dan thanks so
