00:00In terms of the job long-term, when it is brought up outside the walls of Carrington,
00:05sceptics kind of bring out Oli's time at the club in terms of comparisons to your term at the moment.
00:12Just wonder your thoughts on that comparison, but also do you find maybe that discussion
00:17sometimes disrespectful to maybe your own development as a coach over the last few years,
00:21but also to a good friend in Oli as well?
00:25I don't think it's disrespectful. I think I've got the utmost respect for him.
00:28He's a close friend of mine, and I worked closely with him when he was here,
00:31so I was quite attached to that, and I thought we did a lot of good things, really.
00:38It became close, and in the end, obviously, it changed and it went a different direction.
00:42That's football. I think comparisons, you could compare to all sorts of different situations
00:46in managers and coaches and teams over the years.
00:49It just depends on what you want to choose to compare, but it's irrelevant, really.
00:54It really is, and that's not a negative or a positive.
00:58It just doesn't really have any link at all.
01:01I think we're a different team now, irrespective of me, who's in charge.
01:08It's a different team. It's a different time,
01:10so I don't really think comparisons literally make any difference at all.
01:14All right.
