00:04hello what's up i'm brian here doing another video for you guys and this time we're talking

00:08more about blockies because i like the blockies lineup this is going to be the blockies transformers

00:13galaxy version series 10 so we're getting into the double digits the galaxy line is basically

00:19like a main line for blockies you know we have the defenders which is the small stuff we have

00:24the classic class which is more uh i i guess more elaborate built figures and then we have the

00:31action edition which is the largest figures this is kind of like the main run that actually started

00:36the collaboration between blockies and transformers also they're going to have the updated designs for

00:41the core figures so you're going to have updated articulation for the waist for the knees and

00:46whatnot especially for the hips so let's go ahead and start off with the eronymous prime this was

00:51actually the first figure that was revealed for the lineup because we got to see that silhouette

00:56that teaser image but we didn't actually get to see it in colors up until i think it was like

01:00a toy fair

01:01it wasn't the the toy fair like the new york one but it was some sort of i think it

01:06was a japanese toy

01:07fair that was showing off some of their products uh but we did get to see it so now we

01:12have the full

01:13official image and i think it looks pretty cool you know it does have the you know original colors of

01:18the orange the red kind of like a purplish hue in the gray uh the colors are very similar to

01:24the hot

01:24rod that they also did because well i mean it's the same character it does also have the pipes on

01:29the

01:29side of the arms they look much bigger it does have the yellow spoiler which looks really cool and then

01:34you can see the flame on the chest now we already know from a previous image that the chest has

01:39a

01:40multi-layer construction because you'll be able to open that and reveal the matrix of leadership

01:45molded inside now it doesn't look like the matrix of leadership can actually be removed in this

01:51version of the rodmus prime i'm sorry that i started there but uh it doesn't look like a

01:57removable piece but it's just sculpted into the chest which i think is pretty nice and i like how

02:02it's got the beams up here closer to the shoulders speaking of the shoulders you can see that it's

02:07sculpted in with the silver there which looked very nice and then you can see more of the wings

02:11kind of going out from the side there and then we also have the metallic version of the arise rodimus

02:19prime so what the blockies line will normally do is you have a set of nine figures in the blind

02:26box

02:26but then or in a set and then you could get the chance of a chase figure and that being

02:33the arise

02:34rodimus prime so this is going to be the deeper metallic version you can see that with the red and

02:39orange and how they almost kind of blend into one another you can see how the yellow seems more

02:44faded and actually kind of works and then you can see that the legs are a little more i guess

02:50closer

02:50to a gunmetal but just with a slight purple hue and then he's also got an additional piece of the

02:56matrix of leadership that has a flare effect that's popping out of the front of it which kind of reminds

03:02me of how they did for the studio series lineup so pretty cool stuff i want to get this version

03:07of

03:07uh you know the rodimus prime if anything i think it's done better here than the megatron and the

03:12optimus from the previous two waves not that i hate those ones but they're very specific on the decos and

03:17how they're designed so i'm glad that with this either version it's just the rodimus prime anyways

03:24moving on we can take a look at some of the other bots so half of this is going to

03:28be part of the

03:29transformers the movie and then half of this is going to be basically just the original g1 cartoon so it

03:35does kind of fit together but if anyone's wondering why it's not all the transformers the movie

03:41characters there's a reason why because they're doing half and half uh anyways with galvatron i

03:46love this purple hue it's the same purple that they used for the defenders version or at least

03:51it's very close to that you can see his giant orange cannon that looks like a giant carrot uh

03:56obviously that's going to plug on the upper arm which i think that's better than having it on the

04:01lower arm or at least that's what it looks like it looks like it's very close to the lower arm

04:05actually the way it's positioned it looks like it's going to be part of that lower arm but it's

04:10set back so if you have the arm straight it might look like a it's in either part so that's

04:15cool

04:15you can see the dark gray on the knees you can see the red on the knees as well as

04:20the abdomen

04:20which i really do like that's an iconic piece the angles seem a little more sharp on his chest and

04:27i

04:27like the helmet i like that he's got the crown and then the gray parts on the side they look

04:31like

04:31they might be separate pieces i love the shaping of the boots this figure looks really cool

04:37anyways moving on we also have cyclona so i can imagine that scourge is coming out pretty soon if

04:42they haven't made that already i kind of lost track but i don't think they've made a scourge yet i

04:47know they made one in the defenders lineup so i think that's going to be a cool one and i

04:53think maybe

04:54the reason why they're delaying that is because maybe there's going to be an exclusive version that's

04:59going to be the sweeps i don't know i'm just pointing that out that that's a possibility

05:03but i'm not saying that's confirmed anyways taking a look at cyclonus i love the bunny ears on the

05:09helmet that looks sharp too you can see the wings on the back that looks very nice you can see

05:14the

05:14different tones of purple with what's surrounding the knees it looks like a darker shade and it almost

05:20looks like he's got a third shade for the arms and i could be wrong about that but this figure

05:26looks stellar you know i always love cyclonus i love how sharp and he just looks like a warrior so

05:31yeah he's a pretty cool decepticon so i i definitely want this thing anyways moving on we also have six

05:38shot now six shot is my favorite out of the six changer characters i just think that he's really

05:44cool uh i i love that teal and the purple going on with them and they don't use them enough

05:50but i guess

05:50it's kind of hard to constantly produce a six shot figure in some sort of main line uh without doing

05:56like multiple different figures kind of like how studio series does it with triple changers i love

06:01how he's got the wheels on the shoulders the white looks very nice i love that he's got the wings

06:04it

06:05looks like they're on hinges so he can actually move them out of the way and then he's also got

06:08the

06:09wings on the back which i'm kind of hoping they also adjust because they look like they're a little

06:13too spread out i i think that for me i'll just kind of lean them back kind of like how

06:19i do that

06:20with the titans returns toy he does have two different blasters looking really cool nice big

06:24boots and again i love the colors how it separates from the black purple and the white uh this guy

06:30looks amazing i love the core of the chest here and uh yeah six shot is is definitely really cool

06:36no

06:36matter what anyways moving on we also have scorpinox so they seem to be continuing with the titan

06:42characters uh because originally we had the metroplex and he came with optimus prime then we got the

06:48trypticon now we've got scorpinox so i can imagine that maybe in the next wave we're going to get a

06:53fortress maximus assuming that they're not just going to redeco some of the other characters but

06:58what's cool about this is all the accessories you know you do have the claws which are very nice

07:03but then you have the blasters on the shoulders you also have that shield claw thing on the one side

07:08of the arm i love the head sculpt especially with the orange on the side here for the ears i

07:14love the

07:14forehead on that i love the green elements especially for the shins that looks very nice

07:19and then i also like at the front there it's probably hard to tell but he does have his head

07:25master in robot mode there's zarek just sitting beside his leg so i like that they're continuing

07:31with those little figures and i'm curious to see exactly how that's going to scale with the optimus

07:35prime but does that mean that when they do a fortress maximus is he going to come with cerebrose i

07:41guess

07:42we'll have to wait and see uh anyways moving on we also have retgar so we're moving on to the

07:48autobots and i like what i'm seeing for retgar i like the tan the brown the orange the red you

07:53know

07:53there's a bunch of different elements that is all associated with the junkie on but then you've got

07:59the mustache you don't have a long beard but that's totally fine with this figure actually

08:03i love the helmet and then you've got the little antennas for the ears that looks pretty cool

08:07and then of course he's got his iconic nipple blasters that is super important for retgar

08:13uh and then you've also got the wheel shields now it looks like the two pieces are the same

08:18so maybe we'll see some more junkions in the future and then they'll reconfigure those wheel weapons

08:23uh to be attached to the other leg or the other arm i guess we'll have to wait and see

08:28but he does have those and they're completely in black but they do look very sharp i know i keep

08:34saying

08:34sharp but that's the best way to describe it because you've got all these spikes on the wheel

08:39um so yeah the sculpting looks very nice i i especially love how they're doing the legs with

08:44the tan and the brown uh anyways moving on we also have the most important blockies galaxy figure out

08:52of the entire lineup and the main key reason why i want this entire wave this entire setup

09:00is both six shot because i love six shot and warpath for anyone who doesn't know i love shockwave he's

09:08like my number one favorite transformer my second is warpath i just love the red i love the tank mode

09:15i

09:15love that he's got a turret on his chest i i find him absolutely charming i love the head design

09:20you

09:21know it's got the guard and then it's slapped on this kind of base i i don't know why i

09:25love that

09:25but then i also love the fact that he's got the treaded feet you can see that on the feet

09:31themselves

09:31so they have brought in new sculpts for the feet which is kind of rare usually they have the generic

09:36ones and they could have done that here and i would have been fine but no they went the extra

09:41mile and

09:41gave it the treads that's really cool it seems like he comes with the blast effect for that chest piece

09:47that looks really awesome i'm thrilled about this i definitely need him out of the bunch

09:54there's like no arguing with that i have the shockwave from one of the previous waves getting

10:00this would be just mind-blowing anyway so let's go ahead and move on to brawn so for this character

10:08he kind of draws the line between the 86 movie and the transformers uh just the general cartoon and

10:15what i think is cool about this is it's half and half when you take a look at both versions

10:20of the

10:20rise rod and miss prime but if you cobble them together it's still technically half and half

10:25because we have brawn anyways they definitely stylized brawn here you can definitely see that

10:30from the shape of the backpack and just how that goes over how it almost looks more like a turtle

10:36shell

10:36you could kind of see that with you you can kind of see the jeep front even though it's not

10:41technically

10:42the jeep front it looks similar to a jeep but you can see how it's just angled off and kind

10:48of slopes

10:48at the bottom there one thing i really love is the fact that brawn has a drill for a hand

10:53i'm pretty

10:54sure you could swap that but i love the fact that he includes that uh the legs are very green

11:00you can

11:00see that even within the knees and then the chest and body is yellow and of course he's got the

11:04juggernaut helmet blue eyes fantastic looking figure uh anyways moving on let's take a look at the next

11:11figure we've got trail breaker all my friends are trail breaker fans because trail breaker does not get

11:17used enough this guy can wield force force fields and yet he does not get used enough in transformers

11:25except to be eaten by some guy which is kind of crazy but yeah we need more trail breaker in

11:32our life

11:32and i'm glad that blockies decide to do it i love the blue in the chest the red in the

11:37legs i love the

11:38head sculpt and the coloring for it i mean it's mostly black with the blue visor but i like that

11:43that's part of trail breaker now i'm curious to see if they'll use this mold especially with the

11:49chest for a future hoist that would be pretty cool he does have the laser arm and then he has

11:55also got the accessories on the back i can kind of see that almost like a radar and then the

12:00blaster

12:00on the side of the other shoulder so uh yeah he's looking really cool and as a bonus if you

12:08really

12:08want there is going to be a transparent six shot this is going to be an asian exclusive for blockies
