00:10It seems there are reports coming in that three vessels have been hit by gunfire in the street of Olmos

00:17The good thing is that the crew members are safe.
00:20Now this is according to Reuters and the news agency Reuters is citing security sources
00:26and also the British Maritime Operations Authority to say that at least three ships
00:31were subjected to gunfire in the Strait of Olmos today while the crew remains safe.
00:37Now these vessels had entered the Iranian waters and that is where they were close to the Iranian waters
00:43and that is where the attack happened.
00:46At least three commercial vessels were under gunfire when they tried to transit the Strait of Olmos.
00:53So this is a huge issue as the Strait of Olmos is one of the sticking points between US and
01:00Iran
01:00and one of the vessels that was transiting the Strait of Olmos reported being approached by an IRGC gun boat
01:09before shots were fired.
01:11Although no injuries were reported and all crew members are also reported to be safe.
01:16Also no fire or environmental damage occurred to these merchant vessels.
01:22So that is important to know.
01:23But still an issue that vessels are not safe in the Strait of Olmos and that they are being subjected
01:30to gunfire.
01:31Remember the Strait of Olmos has been suffering a dual blockade.
01:35We have seen Iran of course since the beginning of the war has been creating a sort of dominance in

01:43And also US which has clearly stated that any Iranian port is blocked and right now their blockade is restricted
