The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has received 463 requests from the public to remove false content related to the global supply crisis as of 7 am on Wednesday (April 22), Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil said.

Fahmi said all requests have been forwarded to the respective social media platform providers for further action in accordance with existing procedures.

00:51Berdasarkan aduan yang telah dibuat, jumlah terbesar adalah bagi platform Facebook sebanyak 185 permohonan.
01:07Manakala jumlah kedua tertinggi adalah di TikTok sebanyak 142 kandungan dan yang ketiga di Threads sebanyak 131 kandungan.
01:24Dari 463 permohonan ini, sebanyak 65 ketasasatan telah dibuka di mana satu kes telah diputuskan oleh pihak Jabatan Peguam Negara
01:40untuk dituduh di mahkamah.
01:45Lima telah mendapat nasihat peguam negara untuk dikenakan arahan kompaun, manakala yang baki masih dalam siasatan.
