00:00Zechariah (peace be upon him) was a great prophet of the Children of Israel.
00:04They lived in Bethlehem.
00:06And for many years he continued to call his people to worship Allah and repent from their sins.
00:12It is narrated that he taught people for about thirty to forty years.
00:17But the majority of the Children of Israel remained immersed in rebellion and misguidance.
00:21At that time, a cruel king was ruling over the Israelites.
00:26This was the king who had previously martyred Hazrat Yahya (AS).
00:31Because they prevented him from sin and forbidden acts.
00:34When Hazrat Zakariya (peace be upon him) also forbade this king from oppression and disobedience
00:40So he became very angry.
00:42And he ordered that Zakariyya be captured and killed.
00:46The king's soldiers began searching for Hazrat Zakariya (AS).
00:50When you learned of this danger
00:52So you left the city and went to a deserted place.
00:57Tradition says that there was a large tree standing there.
01:00By the command of Allah, a crack appeared in the trunk of this tree.
01:04And Hazrat Zakariya (peace be upon him) took refuge inside it and hid.
01:08Then the tree closed again.
01:10Meanwhile, Satan arrived.
01:12And he signaled to the enemies
01:14He revealed a part of Hazrat Zakariya's (peace be upon him) garment outside the tree.
01:20When the soldiers saw the edge of the cloth from the tree trunk
01:23So they were convinced.
01:24That Zachariah is hidden within it.
01:27He immediately informed the king
01:29The king ordered
01:31To cut down the tree
01:33So the people brought a big saw.
01:35And placed it on the trunk of the tree and began to cut it.
01:38The saw began to descend, tearing through the tree.
01:42And with that
01:43It even reached the body of Hazrat Zakaria (peace be upon him).
01:46Comes in traditions
01:48That despite this severe pain
01:50From the lips of Hazrat Zakaria (peace be upon him)
01:53No screams came out.
01:54He silently
01:56Trust in your Lord.
01:58The wicked people kept on running the saw.
02:00Even along the tree
02:03The body of this Prophet of Allah also
02:04Divided into two parts.
02:06And they were martyred.
02:08Thus, Hazrat Zakariyya (peace be upon him) said:
02:10He set a great example of patience and perseverance in the path of Allah.
02:14This event
02:16It is narrated in the traditions of the Prophets.
02:19And reminds us
02:20That the true servants of Allah
02:22They do not stop speaking the truth even in the face of injustice.
