00:00Hazrat Qatadah bin Nu'man (may Allah be pleased with him) was fighting bravely against the enemy on the battlefield of Badr.
00:06The glitter of swords, the clash of shields, and the sounds of Takbir echoed all around.
00:12Muslims were few in number, but their hearts were full of faith.
00:16During this fierce battle, an arrow suddenly came from the enemy.
00:20And it hit straight on the eye of Hazrat Qatada (may Allah be pleased with him).
00:24The arrow was so powerful that his eye popped out of its socket.
00:28This scene was very disturbing.
00:30But Hazrat Qatada (may Allah be pleased with him) did not waver.
00:33He held his eye in his hand and fought in that position for some time.
00:38When the opportunity arose, he quickly appeared before the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
00:43There were signs of pain on his face, but patience was on his tongue.
00:47He requested.
00:48O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)!
00:51An arrow hit my eye during the war.
00:53And it has come out of place.
00:55You pray to God that it will be okay again.
00:59The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) looked at Qatada with compassion.
01:05Then he said
01:06O Qatada, if you are patient and lose an eye,
01:10So I give you the good news of paradise.
01:13Hearing this, Hazrat Qatada (may Allah be pleased with him) humbly said:
01:16O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)!
01:19I am sure that with the blessings of your love and prayers, I will be blessed with paradise.

01:24But if possible, please correct my eyesight too.
01:27So that I can continue to serve the religion of Allah in the future.
01:30The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) listened to him and placed his eyes in his blessed hand.
01:36Taken
01:36And very gently put it back in its place.
01:39Then he (peace be upon him) applied his blessed saliva on it and bandaged it.
01:45This was the burning of saliva in which Allah Almighty had placed healing.
01:48Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to Hazrat Qatada (may Allah be pleased with him):
01:53Show your eyes when it's time for impact.
01:55Hazrat Qatada (may Allah be pleased with him) kept waiting.
01:58When the time came for the impact, they slowly untied the bandage.
02:01The people who were there were amazed to see this scene.
02:05His eyes were completely healed.
02:07There was no wound, no pain, no mark left.
02:10Rather, that eye seemed clearer and brighter than before.
02:14Some of the companions (may Allah be pleased with them) narrated:
02:17That later it became difficult to recognize
02:19Which eye was injured?
02:21Because both eyes became equally healthy.
02:24This incident teaches us this lesson.
02:26That in the love and obedience of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)
02:29There is a blessing that makes the impossible possible.
02:33The belief of the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them)
02:35Their patience and obedience to the Prophet (peace be upon him)
02:39Their love was that power.
02:40Who made them successful in every test
