00:12you did everything but Andalรฉ mean my Season 3, all right? There are nights I went to sleep like
00:18dang, we just ain't going to never get a Euphoria Season 3 and then you going to call it Andalรฉ
00:23like you didn't do nothing but drag your feet all these years? Decades have gone by.
00:26Years have gone by. I've watched my godsons grow up into young men waiting on a Season 3 of
00:33Euphoria, okay? So for you to call it Andalรฉ like you've been rushing to do something is just a
00:40little bit, I'm just a little confused, okay? I don't even remember what happened in Season 1 and 2,
00:44all right? Now if y'all did a rewatch, good job for you, okay? You get a gold star but
00:50you know what?
00:51I just said I'm just going to go on blind and honestly, I don't know if you really needed to
00:55do a rewatch to get into what was happening in Season 3. The only thing that you need to remember
01:01is that Rue ain't gonna never get her ish together.
01:06Cassie and Nate, that's a whole nother topic because I knew y'all were hunching but I didn't
01:10know that y'all was like actually like in love hunching so I'm just really confused about that
01:15one. But yeah, before I actually get into this week's episode, I just want to give like a little
01:19bit of ground rules, okay? Because lately you guys have been coming to the channel and y'all been wanting
01:23to tussle in the comment section and I just don't understand. So let me just do a disclaimer,
01:27all right? Just in case y'all forgot. I do recap some reviews. I'm going to recap the episode and
01:32I'm going to add some commentary in between that. It's going to be funny. I might go a little hard
01:38on some of the characters and that's okay because guess what? They're not real. They're not real.
01:42And I'm going to say that one more time because some of y'all forgetting that, especially when we get
01:45to our Testaments review, they're not real, okay? So I'm not attacking a real person. I'm not attacking
01:52the actor or actress that are, that is playing that character. I'm just talking about these bad
01:56choices that everybody be making in Euphoria, all right? Because I know y'all like to tussle in the
02:01comment section, but I'm just letting y'all know I can tussle too, all right? Okay. Now, I want to
02:07start with Rue, but actually I'm going to hold off on Rue for a moment because I do need to
02:12talk about
02:12Cassie and Nate because I'm just actually very confused, flabbergasted. Okay, Cassie is, is, you know,
02:21Rue does this voiceover where, you know, she says that Cassie's living in a right-wing suburban
02:25neighborhood. Um, I'm just trying to understand why Cassie is dressed like a dog doing these woof,
02:32woof song, like videos and stuff. She's trying to become social media famous. And I was just like,
02:38Cassie, I just really hoped and prayed that after all these years that you will find some self-worth,
02:43but obviously you still have not found that sweetheart. So I'm going to put you back on the
02:47prayer list. And if I find you, I'm going to tell you to go to the altar because you, we
02:53might
02:53actually have to do an exorcism because there has to be some type of spirit in you that will make
02:58you
02:58want to marry Nate and do these dog videos. Like sweetheart, whatever you're doing is not working.
03:04You look cute and all, but you ain't got to do all of that baby girl. But of course Nate
03:08would have a
03:09cyber truck that actually really tracks for him. But what I'm confused about is did Nate have a
03:15redemption arc that I missed. He not a psychopath no more. He not like, I was just a little confused.
03:22I don't know if y'all were confused while watching. I know I didn't do my rewatch, but last time
03:26I
03:26remembered Nate is still a bad person. I mean, clearly he's a scammer now, but I was just very
03:32confused. Even his reaction of walking in, watching his fiancee do these doggy videos, the housekeeper,
03:39like Wanda can't even do what she needs to do. Now, when he did that snap, like go downstairs,
03:43I was like, no, that's the Nate that I know. But the fact that he didn't like spaz out on
03:48Cassie,
03:49like the fact that I've been gone scamming all day, scamming from sun up to sun down to try to
03:56help with this raggedy, ugly looking house. And I'm gonna get on that house later. Cause I'm like,
04:01what in the Elvis Presley is going on? Okay. But I was just confused him walking in on her. She's
04:07trying to explain that she wants to do videos. And he was like, so you're a prostitute. And I was
04:10like,
04:10sweetheart, we don't do that. Sex worker. Okay. Have some class. Okay. Have some decorum, Nate.
04:15All right. But she basically saying like, you know, I want to make money. We got the wedding
04:19coming up. And he was like, baby, I got money. And I was like, no, he don't. So he said,
04:23we got money.
04:23You don't need to do that. You don't need to work. And she was just like, but I want to
04:26like do stuff
04:27for the wedding. I want to carry my own weight. And he was just like, baby girl, you ain't got
04:30to do
04:30that. But what I know that you're not going to do, you're not going to be on OnlyFans. All right.
04:35You're not going to be doing these doggy woof woof videos because that's just beneath you.
04:40And honestly, I was like, girl, if you want to do OnlyFans, that's fine. But like, we can find
04:44something better than you doing this little woof woof. I just felt like, sweetheart, we could do
04:49something else. Okay. You could have did a whole like Elvis thing type of thing. I mean, with the
04:55ugly house that you got, you could at least put the ugly house to you so you can please do
04:59some
04:59remodeling very soon. Okay. Cause I don't know what this was about. Obviously it was a fixer upper,
05:04but I don't see no fix it. And I don't see the decor upping itself right now because it looks
05:10a hot
05:10mess. All right. So I guess Nate does enough to get her to like, not think about it. Um, and

05:18know, he basically says like, Hey, like I thought I invested in myself first. Absolute red flags. Okay.
05:23You got to invest in yourself or are you investing in us? Cause I'm just confused. You said that you
05:27don't have to worry about money. We got money, but then you saying you ain't got no money. Cause I
05:30want
05:30my $50,000 floors. And you say that you can't afford the $50,000 floors.
05:33So then the math isn't math for me because then obviously you don't have money. Right.
05:37Right. I just didn't understand that. So, okay. I just knew that Nate was going to blow a gasket
05:44when he walked in on this, but I guess he's okay. I guess he, he took over his dad's business.
05:49He's in love with Cassie. I was confused about that. Like I knew y'all was hunching, but I didn't
05:53really, really think that he was like in love with her to be marrying her. And then especially with her
05:58doing all of this foolishness and the fact that she's willing to tell the neighbor's wife,
06:01like, yeah, I'm going to do these pictures and stuff. And then she was like, sweetheart,
06:05like girl, who finna pay $50 for that? And you think Nate finna marry you with all of that?
06:09But I guess he is. I'm just very perplexed by this. I'm sorry. Like to me, Nate is crazy.
06:16Right. And I never believed that he was really in love with Cassie. I know Cassie would do anything
06:21for any man that will show her an ounce of attention. So I understand the Cassie part of this,
06:25but now he's a scammer. Cassie, you could do so much better, honey. Okay. You could do so much
06:31better, honey. You not no ugly girl. You know, you got a nice body. You got some body. You don't
06:38need to be with scamming Nate and you can't tell that he ain't got no money. Girl, I just don't
06:46understand. So we see that later she's like stalking Maddie in the bathroom. Maddie's living this life.
06:53She's like, everyone thinks she's like this Hollywood talent manager, but really she's like
06:57the assistant to the talent manager and she ain't making no money. And I want them to really hone
07:00in on this because a lot of times people think because you work in Hollywood that you have this
07:04like proximity to money. So then you have money. And a lot of people have messaged me like, Hey girl,
07:09like, are you doing this full time? Did you quit your job? Hell no, I didn't quit my job. I
07:13talk to
07:14rich people for a living, but that does not make me rich. They're rich. Okay. Just cause I'm in a
07:19room
07:20with, with richness and money. That doesn't mean that I have money. And I just really,
07:24I hope that they really drive that home about showcasing Maddie and Lexi who are both working
07:30at Hollywood and different ways about how baby we live in Cali. The rent is high. That's why I'm
07:36not moving to Cali. Now, Lori, if you want to send me a husband that can afford, not no Nate
07:40that ain't
07:40got no money. Okay. Broke dudes don't want it. All right. But if you want to send me a rich
07:46man that
07:46says, Hey, I want to move you to LA and I want to give you the desires of your heart.
07:50Cause you
07:51said you would give me the desires of my heart. But if you want to do that, then you can
07:54do that.
07:54But I'm not going to, I'm not going to LA with no money. All right. So I really want y
08:00'all to pay
08:00attention to Maddie and Lexi struggling. Okay. They might be living the Hollywood life,
08:06but they're not going home to the Hollywood life. So I really need y'all to get that message.
08:10Cause I feel like it's going to go over your heads and it probably went over your heads,
08:13but hopefully we're going to, we're going to reign that in throughout the course of the season.
08:17All right. So she's talking Maddie on the gram and I don't know if she wants to, I don't know
08:24what
08:24she's going to do. Cassie just always made bad decisions. So I'm not even going to try to think
08:28in that mindset, but we see that, um, you should know, she tells her neighbor, like, let me worry
08:33about Nate. Like, girl, I got this. Okay. I got the ring and I'm going to show you how I
08:37got it.
08:38So she has his dinner. She's all these beautiful candles. And then I see what he eating.
08:43And I said, now girl, and maybe this is childhood trauma right here that I'm talking about. It's
08:49something about spaghetti that disrupts my spirit. Is spaghetti good? Absolutely. Is spaghetti a main
08:55dish? Absolutely not. And I don't care what y'all say. It is a side dish. It's not a main
08:59dish.
08:59I grew up in the Midwest. So y'all understand we do the catfish with the spaghetti as a side.
09:04All right. Now I don't know about y'all household because black people are not a model lift,
09:08but I know that when spaghetti is made, you're going to eat spaghetti for the rest of your life. All
09:12right.
09:13It feels like that pot of spaghetti is never going to end because for some reason, our ancestors
09:17didn't teach and pass down that you're not supposed to cook the whole box of pasta.
09:23You're not. That's too much. That's why we're eating spaghetti the whole month.
09:30Okay. I'm sorry. The spaghetti really did something to my spirit, y'all. And I'm not even going to get
09:34to the boo-boo spaghetti with Rue and them, but I'm going to get to that later. But you asking
09:39your
09:40husband or your fiance for something, $50,000 in floral arrangements, and you're going to make him
09:45a spaghetti with a dirty martini? Cassie, get it together. Get it together. Please and thank you.
09:53They know he didn't like it. How about did you like the dinner? No, he didn't like that nasty dinner.
09:57He didn't even have enough sauce on it. Just slurping up noodles with probably no seasoning and no sauce.
10:03Okay. I'm sorry. I said, I won't let her get me worked up this season, but I can already tell
10:07she about to do it. Okay. So Cassie wants to spend $50,000 on florals. I said, Cassie. Now,
10:12even if we did have money, like $50,000 on florals, like girl, that just feels like a little excessive.
10:18Okay. I know weddings cost a lot, but $50,000, that's just a lot of money. I was like, I
10:24don't
10:24even like Nate. And I got to side with Nate on this one. Okay. Now here's the part that really
10:28like, it really like did something to my spirit. When she said this, she said, I didn't wait my
10:33entire life to have a ghetto wedding. And I said, Sam, Sam, Sam, Sam, ghetto wedding coming out of
10:44Cassie mouth. Cassie was ghetto. It did something to me. I'm not here. I'm gonna let that one slide.
10:52I'm gonna let that one. I'm gonna let it slide. I really shouldn't let it slide, but I'm gonna let
10:55it slide. I just thought it was a little weird. Cause why would Cassie say like, I didn't wait
10:58my entire life to have a ghetto wedding, but fine. So she says that. And then she says,
11:03well, maybe we should just have a wedding. Cause baby, if you don't have the money that you said
11:06you have, and I said, I was going to have a good wedding. I said, I was going to go
11:09all
11:09out. I've been waiting my whole life for this day. So if you don't have the money that you say
11:12that you have, then baby just say that. And then we don't have to get married. So Nate, he actually
11:17loved his girl. Cause he really agreed to her doing the OnlyFans. Like I thought he was going to be
11:21like, you don't have to do that. I'll pay for the flowers. But he said, no, you can do the
11:24OnlyFans.
11:25But don't put your face with your tits in the same photo. And I was just like,
11:32I know I should be a little bit more progressive because there's nothing wrong with OnlyFans. If
11:36y'all want to go on OnlyFans, you, you do that because I'm thinking of starting a feat OnlyFans.
11:40Okay. If y'all want to give some advice to that, let me know in the comment section below and

11:44talk about it. So I don't have a problem with that, but someone like Nate, it just does not make
11:48sense to the character that we've known for the past two seasons that he will be okay with his wife
11:54having an OnlyFans and showing her tits on OnlyFans. And he's supposed to be doing this like
12:00multi-million dollar real estate investment with all these investors. Like you're not worried about
12:05somebody seeing your wife, her tits on social media. Like I just, that doesn't make sense to
12:12me from a character standpoint. I just want to know, did Jacob tell y'all that he wasn't going to
12:17do
12:17this unless you made him a good person. If y'all had that conversation, fine. Everybody else doesn't
12:22want to play like a psychopath. Okay. For multiple seasons. But maybe if we could have saw how he
12:27became a better person, got a voiceover, like maybe he went to therapy. Maybe he found the Lord. Okay.
12:33Maybe the whole stuff with his daddy just helped him realize he needs to be a better person.
12:37But I just don't feel like we got enough backstory or anything that happened at the end of season two
12:42that I don't remember will lead me to believe that Nate is all of a sudden a good person. He's
12:46going
12:46to let Cassie, first of all, that he's going to love Cassie and marry Cassie, but also too, that
12:51they're, he going to let her be our OnlyFans. That just, that don't make sense to me. That, that don't
12:55make sense. Just like her said, the ghetto end, that didn't make sense to me either. So I just need
13:00some answers on that. Okay. Okay. Sam, I just need some answers. All right. So let me go back to
13:04Rue.
13:05All right. So Rue, she was telling the truth. She was like, y'all, I bet you've been wondering what
13:09I've been up to these past five years. Okay. And she said nothing good. And I said, you know what?
13:14In my heart of hearts, I wanted you to say something different, but when you said nothing
13:18good, I said, yeah, absolutely. Absolutely. That tracks that. That's, that's actually what I would
13:23expect out of you, Rue. Okay. So she's somewhere in Chihuahua and she in Mexico. Okay. I did like the
13:31ride, like the wind needle drop. So I guess she's trying to get over the wall. And I'm like, is
13:36that what
13:37the wall that they're supposed to be building? Is that what they did? Because if all people had
13:40to do was just put the little things up to drive the car up and go down, I want my
13:45money
13:46back. Okay. You shouldn't have been doing it in the first place, but just give us our money
13:49back for that. Cause that don't, that don't make no sense. That don't make absolutely no
13:53sense. So she get the car up there and I was actually impressed. And then it looked like,
13:57okay, so all you got to do is go down. I just don't think I could do that. I had
14:00anxiety
14:00the entire time watching this episode. So she tries to like go down, but it's not working.
14:04Then she almost falls back. And then I just had to look away for a moment.
14:10She gets out of the car. Okay. So she gets her back. She gets out of the car. I thought
14:13that the car was going to run over her foot at first. Cause that's what really had me
14:16shook for the majority of this scene, but she ends up getting away. And then she crosses
14:24over into Texas. I did like the score here. Now I know I'm in solidarity with Labyrinth,
14:31but I did like the score. I ain't going to hold you. I'm going to tell you the truth.
14:34Okay. But she gets there and then we see that she's like with this little family,
14:40little house on a prairie family who was obviously like super right wing as well,
14:45just in a different way from Cassie. And so basically she told them that she was like in
14:49college working on the article for the newspaper talking about how the border, like all these
14:54illegals are coming into, uh, America with no, I was just like, girl, I mean, it makes sense.
15:01She, she understood her audience of where she was staying. I love that shot when she's at the,
15:05uh, breakfast table with them. I just like how it looked like she was in this, like, almost like a
15:11Looney Tunes, like play. If it was like a live action Looney Tunes or something. I really love that
15:17shot. I thought it was super cute. Um, but yeah, so the milk did look like it was good. I
15:23know the milk
15:24was busting. My, uh, brother's dad owned a farm and I know that milk was busting. Dahlia, I know she
15:30put, she put her big move into that, that glass of milk. Okay. For, so she ends up telling everyone
15:35by the daughter, uh, takes her to the Greyhouse station. I like this conversation that she has
15:41with her because, you know, the girl is like, I wish I can like go see the world. And then
15:45she was
15:45like, no, I would trade places with you in a heartbeat. And we see that this has a lasting effect
15:50on her, but it gets her thinking about religion. Like what would happen if she had something like
15:55religion to keep her grounded, but also too, if she had like, you know, a family, I wonder if she
16:00thinks like if her father never passed and she had this family unit, you know, would she be a
16:05different person? I think that she believes that she would have. And I do agree. Like, even though
16:10this, this young girl is living this shelter life, I think that she's also sheltered from the bad that
16:16the world can bring in. And we've seen that as we saw who Rue was before drugs and how she
16:21is now.
16:21Um, so I really did like that whole conversation. Now we get more insight as to why she was actually
16:27in Mexico in the first place, because Lori came to collect her coins. So Rue was working at a
16:33smoke shack and then Lori pops up, was like, oh, hey girl, you remember that you owe me money,
16:37hoe? And then she was like, oh, I sure did. But girl, I ain't got the 10k for you, but
16:42I could
16:42probably get in. She was like, oh, you don't owe me 10k. I was like, oh, we, uh, we forgiven
16:47drug
16:48debt too with the student loans. She was like, no, you don't owe me 10k because you really owe me
16:53$43,887,000. And I said, now Lori, 20% interest rate over 46 months, that really like that 10
17:02grand
17:03really went to, to $43,887,000. I would have just jumped right then and there. Cause like,
17:14how I'm going to pay that back to you? And then she was like, well, I can sell it for
17:17a hundred
17:18K. I said, now girl, that's a good deal. Now she ain't got, if she didn't have 10k Lori,
17:24then she ain't got a hundred K because if Johnny had four apples and you took the apple away,
17:30that, that's just not math. And Lori, you knew that girl didn't have that dang old money.
17:33So this girl became a body. What is it? Body smuggling, body snatching, body something. Okay.
17:39So she's smuggling drugs from Mexico, uh, fentanyl from Mexico back to the States for Lori. So Lori had
17:46to move in with her cousin after Fez, RIP Angus, uh, got busted by the cops. And we find out
17:54that
17:54they're actually keeping him alive for the storyline. And I actually think that's like really dope.
17:59I feel like it's like a piece of him that's still, you know, around. I love, I just,
18:05I really liked that they kept him alive, like even in the storyline and he's just doing,
18:10he's doing a bid for 30 years. I mean, so he in jail for the rest of his life basically.
18:14But,
18:15um, we do find out that Lexi, Lexi's not in contact with him, but Rue is actually in contact
18:20with him. So because of everything that happened at the end of season two, Lori has to close her
18:25business where she was and she moved in with her cousin, uh, and they're basically running the drug
18:29business together. And she was absolutely right. They, it's some inbreeding going on. Yeah. Yeah,
18:35absolutely. Absolutely. Some inbreeding happening right there. I'm just, I'm not even going to hold
18:40you. Okay. Um, so yeah, so we see that she goes over there and she has these like bags of
18:49drugs that
18:50she has to swallow. Now I didn't know, like you can ingest KY jelly. I was just like, y'all
18:56is that
18:56safe? It wasn't that else she can take. So she had to put it in the water. I mean, it
19:00was very
19:01informative. You got to put it in the water to make sure that the bag is, uh, sealed. Cause you
19:05know, if it explodes and you, if it gets into your bloodstream, like you did like the girl that
19:10passed and they just took the drugs out of her. I was like, dang, you should at least send the
19:14body
19:14back to the family something. So she's doing all of this, that whole sequence. And then she got
19:19Fay involved in this craziness. The whole sequence of them trying to like stuff this stuff down their
19:23throat and them gagging and then all the spit and stuff. I was just like, yuck. Okay. I was like,
19:31I get, I get it. I don't know if I necessarily needed the visual, but then we saw all them
19:35bags
19:35and that girl body. I was just like, how you even got space to fit all of that in there?
19:40Okay. That
19:40was, that was a lot. So they go to the border and then what dude's like, Hey, like, did you
19:45have a
19:45good time? And Fay was like, no, like do it look like I had a good time. So Rue and
19:52Fay are living
19:53with Lori. I mean, they got a whole little operation. The house was little, but obviously
19:57everybody got a place to sleep. They running a whole drug lab in the barn, underneath the barn.
20:03So I guess they, they got a whole thing going. Okay. Now here's the part that really disrupted my
20:08spirit. All right. And it is back to the spaghetti, but in a different way. Okay.
20:11Okay. So they was carrying Rue in. Okay. Because you got to poop the bags out. So they
20:19said, go get the strainer. Red flag one. They picked up the strainer out of the dishwasher.
20:27They picked up the strainer out of the dishwasher. So that means that strainer that you took so
20:32Rue can go poop in the strainer to strain the poop away from the bags. Y'all be washing
20:38that in the dishwasher with the regular dishes. With the regular dishes. So it's feces in the
20:50dishwasher with the dishes, the plates, the forks, the spoons, the cups. And then to make matters
21:00even worse. They was making spaghetti and they took the strainer that Rue pooped in and they took
21:07it and they put the pasta in the strainer. And I don't care if you washed it out. I don't
21:16care because it shouldn't have been in the dishwasher with the rest of the dishes. That's
21:23like people who wash underwear with their regular clothes or they washcloths. And if you wash
21:31your underwear with your washcloths and stuff, don't admit that in the comment section because
21:36I'm going to let you know right now I'm going to judge you because that's nasty. It's nasty.
21:43So the fact that y'all was eating a spaghetti and Rue up here smelling a dressing, hoe, you need
21:48to be looking. Why are you eating feces spaghetti? That just didn't make no sense.
21:58I mean, they just nasty. Just nasty. Nasty. Okay. I'm sorry. I'm already triggered by their
22:10spaghetti in general. Okay. And then you telling me you doing the spaghetti where Rue be, where
22:14she be shitting. It don't make no sense. Okay. Oh, all right. So Rue be driving Uber too on the
22:22side. I don't know how much money she's trying to make with the Uber, but I'm like, girl, I mean,
22:27I guess she doing Uber XL. She could be making some, she had a little minivan and stuff. So she
22:30could be making some, some decent money, you know, maybe, I don't know. So we do see that
22:38when she, Lexi does let her go to her house and she's like telling her to tea, like how Jules
22:43told
22:43Maddie that she a sugar baby. And, um, you know, this is when we got like all the backstory, her
22:51talking to Lexi about like, Hey, you should call Fez. And then she was like, she was telling her how
22:56she met this Christian family and how it kind of changed her. She was just like, no, you can't do
23:00that. I don't want to be around Christians. And she was like, what's wrong with Christians? She's
23:03like, they're judgmental. But I said, but Lexi, you judgmental. So do it matter? I don't think like,
23:10like that just, that didn't make sense to me, Lexi, cause you're just a judgmental as a Christian.
23:14So, you know, I was like, whatever. All right. So she's having a conversation with Ali. It was
23:19nice to see Coleman. She's having a conversation with Ali. And then they talking about somehow
23:24she tells him about this experience and how she wants to like read the Bible. And she said,
23:28she's going to take everything as fact. And I said, no, Rue girl, you smuggling drugs from Mexico,
23:35you eating spaghetti out of the same pasta strainer that you poop in. And you're also on drugs. So
23:43how you going to take stuff literal, boo? You going to be in for a rude awakening. Okay. Cause
23:48from the moment that I got saved, baby, when you realize all the sinning you be doing, I just,
23:54I just had to be like, Lord, it's just some stuff that I'm just going to have to stand about
23:59until I
24:00get married. Okay. Just a couple of things I'm going to have to send about, but it's,
24:04it's a little bit different when you open your eyes and you start reading the Bible. All right.
24:09So Ali, so then she's like, well, how is that going to work? Because I'm gay. And he was like,
24:13okay. And, and she was like, well, they don't like the gays. They used to kill gays. He was like,
24:16nah, they was only tripping about the men laying with men. And she was like, well,
24:20I don't understand what's the issue with men laying with men. And he was like, they trying to run
24:23away from, from like, they trying to run away from Pharaoh and stuff. So how they going to do that
24:29if they
24:29hunching the men, you know, they draining all the testosterone on everybody, you supposed to be
24:32protecting everybody, but y'all hunching, giving all your little strong powers away. So how you
24:37going to be laid up if you supposed to be protecting people from getting away from the Pharaoh and stuff?

24:49And so he was just like, they just mad about the butt sex. And then he was like, I don't

24:53the butt sex, but I mean, you can't be having butt sex when you trying to run for your freedom.
24:57And I was like, I mean, I mean, they could hunt you or two, you know, like you got to
25:02rest.
25:03And sometimes you might, I don't know. Let me just not even get into that. Okay. But the whole
25:07conversation just, it killed me when he was like, wartime make the time for butt sex. And I said,
25:12okay. And so I like how Ali tells her, like, either you have faith or you don't. Right.
25:17Everyone gets caught up on. Okay. Like we could argue about why I don't agree with this part in the
25:24Bible. And I don't agree with that part, but do you have faith? Do you believe in God? Like that
25:28is the foundation first, right? Before beginning to live in according to his word and what's in the
25:33Bible and how people mistranslate the Bible. Like, do you have faith? Do you believe first
25:37and foremost? And I'll say, okay, Ali, you, you brought that back because we got caught up on butt
25:42sex, but you brought it back to do you have faith? And so she decided that she was going to,
25:47you know, listen to the Bible. She got her little audio CDs and I was like, okay,
25:52Ru, you better bring it back for the CDs. But I think you scared the gay man in the backseat
25:56of your car with a doll. I just don't know if I would be doing that with people in your
25:59car,
25:59but if you don't care about your Uber rating, then that's when you boo. Okay. So Ru gets a call
26:06and she has to take a package of drugs to Alamo. Okay. And so I actually really liked seeing like
26:16Ru with black people. Cause I just felt like she wasn't like, she'd be around her family black,
26:20right. And I leave black, but just around like regular black people. I just really liked that
26:24interaction for the rest of this episode. So, um, we see that Bishop is standing real creepy
26:31in the garage. She acts like, Hey, can I go use the bathroom? She walked past Marshawn Lynch
26:36character. I don't know why he had them floaties. You got, you just big man with these muscles and
26:41stuff. And you got the floaties on in the pool. I was just really confused about that. I did like
26:45seeing Asante, uh, black in there as well, even though he dealing drugs too. But I was like,
26:50you know, it's just nice to see, see him and stuff. Um, but yeah, so we see that while she
26:57delivers all
26:58of this, she gets caught up on the women. Tish asks her like, Hey, can you help me with this?
27:02And then she's like, yeah, you got your titties out? Yeah, girl, I'm finna come help you.
27:05So she helps her get it together. Then she's supposed to be going to the bathroom,
27:09Bishop looking for him. And then he looking like, girl, how you sit up here? You supposed
27:16to be making a package and go to the bathroom and you sit up here partying with all the women
27:19having a good old time. And so then Alamo is like, Hey, how you going to come up in my
27:24house
27:24dancing with my host? And you're not going to say hi. Like, that's a real disrespectful. Okay.
27:28And so she's like, Oh my bad. Like, you know what? I think that God brought us together.
27:33And I said, now Rue, I don't, I don't, I don't think the Lord was bringing y'all together, boo.
27:41I know, I know what you saying, but I don't, I don't think this what the Lord, I don't think
27:47this is a sign that the Lord was trying to send you. Okay, girl. Like my man said that he's,
27:52he's
27:52running the, the hottest commodity on town, uh, the kitty cat. And he said he the king of the
27:57kitty cats and he owns all these strip clubs. And then I was just, I was confused at first.
28:03Cause I'm just like you saying that the Lord brought you together like this. It was just
28:06really confusing for me. But when he said, now when Rue said that this is my dream job,
28:12he's like, Oh, you want to be a hoe? And I was like, Alamo, no, she, she, she not trying
28:16to be
28:17a hoe. She, she just trying to like, you know, she tried to run the hoes like you and make
28:21some money,
28:21you know, get a slice of heaven is what she said. Now, Laura, I'm just telling you what Rue said.
28:26I ain't saying that. Okay. Just want to make sure. All right. So now here's another
28:33part. Okay. So when he was like, Oh, you a gay one. And I did that laughing. Cause it made
28:37me
28:37think of that video me when they'd be like, why is you gay? Or like, I just, I don't know.
28:43It's
28:43just how he said it. It just sent me to the upper room. But when he said, I bet you
28:48run them bees,
28:48like a N word. Now this was another part of the episode. I said, Sam, Sam, Sam, Sam. Was
28:57his ad lib? Did you write that? Why you write that? Why you write that? Why? Why? It just, it
29:13just
29:13wasn't mapping for me. Okay. All right. It just wasn't mapping for me. So Rue asked him for a job.
29:19And then, but in the midst of all of this, Tish ends up overdosing on the pills that relates with
29:24fentanyl after Assange's character tested the drugs. He wasn't too happy about that. And then she,
29:31that's when she said, like, I didn't really think that God brought us together. Like, I didn't know.
29:35They just gave me the bag. I delivered it. I ain't got nothing to do with this foolishness. And then
29:38he was
29:38like, well, if you believe in God, let's see if he believe in you. And so he takes her outside.
29:43He
29:44puts the apple on her head. He pulls the trigger and she survives. So I was like, okay, maybe, maybe
29:48the Lord was looking out. I still don't know if he wanted you to pair with somebody to say he
29:52the
29:53king of the peas, but okay, fine. So I guess for right now, the man above believes in her. And
29:59that
29:59was the end of the episode. Overall, I mean, the episode was interesting. I really only care about
30:05rude storyline to be quite honest with you. Um, we didn't get enough Alexi and Maddie for me to like
30:12really get invested in it. And we really didn't get, we didn't get anything with Jules. Um, I'm
30:17still very deeply troubled by the whole Nate being a good person thing. Yeah, he's a scammer, but like,
30:23I just, I need, can someone let me know that I missed something of the redemption arc for Nate?
30:28Cause that just doesn't make sense to me. And also too, I'm not going to hold y'all. I'm so
30:32tired
30:34of Sydney Sweeney just being objectified for her body. I just like, after Euphoria,
30:42I understand that y'all had to fulfill y'all contracts, but after this, I, I don't want,
30:47I don't want to see you be sexualized unless it just really makes sense for whatever you're in.
30:52But honestly, I just don't want to see her be, it's, it's just like, it was too much. It's just
30:58too much for me. Cause I know this only the first episode, so I'm sure it's going to get worse.
31:01And it just, I, I'm kind of tired of that, but I do like Ruth being around some other black
31:07people.
31:08Now I didn't want her to be selling drugs and running hoes and stuff for the other black people,
31:12but it is nice just to see her around more blackness. So like, give me more of that.
31:17Maybe less of the running the hoes, but you know, whatever you got to do, girl, I understand people
31:23got bills to pay and contracts to fulfill. But overall for me, the episode's fine. It's fine.
31:30I'm more interested just to see what trouble Ruth's going to get herself into and what everybody else
31:34has been up to. But I just hope that the majority of this season isn't going to be us looking
31:39at Ruth
31:40and looking at Cassie. Cause Cassie really be arcing my everlasting nurse and the few nerves that I have
31:45left, I really don't want to spend them with her getting on them. So I hope that we get to
31:50see more
31:50of the other characters in the next episode. But yeah, overall, this episode was fine. It was fine.
31:56Beautiful gowns, great set design, great, great production design. I like the needle drops,
32:01the little temptations at the end, but yeah, like overall it was fine. It's fine. It's fine.
