07:40Carson Kressley, and Jamal Sims.
07:42Hello.
07:44Hello.
07:45Hi, baby.
07:48For the grand finale, we challenged each of our top three queens to collaborate with composer
07:55Leland to create and sing their own personal anthem.
07:59And tonight, they're ready to entertain us like only they can.
08:04In the end, I'll choose the top two queens of the season, and they'll face off in a final
08:09lip sync for the crown, plus a grand prize of $200,000.
08:17Razors, start your engines, and may the best drag queen win.
08:29Welcome back to the grand finale of RuPaul's Drag Race.
08:32Our first finalist is a little big country and a whole lot of stupid.
08:38It's Darlene Mitchell.
08:44I'm Darlene Mitchell, and I am the country-cunty camp queen of season 18.
08:48She's corny.
08:50My journey has been a wild one.
08:54Highs, lows, up, down, all-around, tears, laughs.
08:57We have done it all.
08:59Being a bedroom queen, I had a little bit of trouble being confident.
09:02And my voice.
09:03Yeah, we gotta get you back in the bars.
09:04I didn't realize how much I missed and needed the queer joy that all of these girls have
09:09given me.
09:10It took a while for me to give myself permission that I deserve my dream to.
09:14It's so fun to watch someone who's having fun.
09:17They really like me.
09:19A lot of my looks lean into the fun.
09:22That's the whole point of drag.
09:23Move, bitch!
09:24I have a flavor that's a little bit different than the rest of the girls.
09:27I dislike those shoes.
09:28But it doesn't hinder me from being who I am in any way.
09:33If anything, it makes me want to go harder.
09:35Why you now?
09:37Why you now?
09:38Banana!
09:40I was starting to catch on that Rue was liking my flavor.
09:44You're so stupid.
09:46I'm like, you have what it takes to place in the top.
09:48Now, you gotta start winning.
09:50Condrag-ulations, condrag-ulations.
09:52You're the winner of this week's challenge.
09:55I have made it to the end without ever having to lip sync.
09:59My time in this competition has really changed my life.
10:02We see you get it and live in your skin.
10:05And it is what this life is all about.
10:08I have wanted this since I first started drag.
10:12And I'm going for it full throttle.
10:15The time has come.
10:16The engines are revving.
10:17I am doing anything necessary to make sure that I am standing there with that crown on my head.
10:25First up, performing her original song, Cookin' With Gas, it's Darlene Mitchell.
10:31Now I'm cookin' with gas, a little bit of sass.
10:35If you don't like it, then kiss mine.
10:42Come on, man!
10:45My wigs won't even fit in this little 4x4.
10:49But I don't give a lick, you got a lot of shit when you're dressin' like a whore.
10:53Now I'm just speedin' up, I ain't tappin' on the brakes.
10:57Let me rearrange this meaty tuck, cause damn, this car shakes.
11:02Turn it on.
11:04Get it on.
11:06Here we go!
11:09Now I'm cookin' with gas, a little sass.
11:12If you don't like it, then kiss my ass.
11:14Clones are still, keepin' it real.
11:16Two high heels and I'm hard at blast.
11:18Coffee dreams, strong as themes.
11:20Book cut jeans and I got no class.
11:23Get out the way, bitch, I'm about to pass.
11:25Cause I'm cookin' with gas.
11:28Hey!
11:29Hey!
11:32Hey!
11:33Hey!

12:20Yes!
12:22Yes!
12:24Oh, my gosh!
12:27Darlene,
12:28that was so
12:30dumb!
12:32Now fill her up and check
12:34the oil.
12:36Okay,
12:37it's time for the judges' critiques.
12:40Darlene,
12:41I loved that performance.
12:43First of all, I love that you did
12:45this kind of rainbow
12:47choir robe, and then the
12:49reveal to my favorite thing,
12:51gauntlets!
12:52You had them on! You know, it's been so
12:55much fun, this whole competition, to be able to watch you
12:57come into your own. You really,
12:59in the beginning, were kind of low-key
13:01and struggling, and then I think
13:03something clicked and you just realized
13:05who you were. That's why that shirt that
13:07you're wearing right now is so
13:08very important. And I think the most
13:11important thing I'd like to thank you for
13:12is not wearing those shoes
13:15tonight.
13:17Save a horse, ride a drag queen.
13:19That was fantastic!
13:21Putting the ho back and ho down.
13:23I loved every second of it.
13:24And I have this same t-shirt, but
13:27I'm really resonating with this one
13:29right now because I love you as well.
13:31Great job.
13:32Thank you. Lovely.
13:33Jarlene Flo Mitchell.
13:37I love you so much.
13:38I mean, you weren't just cooking with gas.
13:40You had a little bit of electric up in there.
13:42You were a hybrid tonight.
13:44You killed it, and I could not
13:46take my eyes off you. Congratulations.
13:48So proud of you tonight.
13:51Okay, listen, I'm afraid to ask this question,
13:53but where did you get your sense of style?
13:56Just lucky, I guess.
13:59Some chose books.
14:00I chose looks.
14:04Now, as the judges said,
14:06you were the dark horse of this season.
14:08When did you realize you could
14:10win this whole competition?
14:12When I took the roast,
14:14relying on nothing but my
14:16stupid, that
14:18really kind of let me know
14:20like, oh, I'm
14:21winning this whole thing.
14:23Like, it was...
14:25That was it.
14:27Now, before you were Darlene Mitchell,
14:29you were Trash the Drag Queen.
14:33So, I have to ask,
14:34Darlene,
14:35what would you say
14:37to 24-year-old Trash?
14:41Oh, no!
14:43Work, bitch!
14:45Girl, you have work in the morning.
14:47You need to...
14:48You need to get to bed
14:50and blend, bitch!
14:54And now, what would you say
14:56to five-year-old Blake?
15:00Oh...
15:00I would say that there is
15:02absolutely nothing wrong with you,
15:05and that there will come a day
15:07when you might not think that
15:08you will see another one.
15:11But I am standing here today
15:13to tell you that you find your light,
15:15you find your purpose,
15:17you find a smokin' hot fiancƩ.
15:24And when it comes to
15:26your family,
15:27you will be delightfully surprised
15:29at how hearts and minds
15:31can change.
15:34And I love you.
15:37What a precious, precious baby.
15:40Now, who's here supporting you tonight?
15:42I have my beautiful fiancƩ, Brandon,
15:44and my dear friend, Molly.
15:46Hi, y'all.
15:47Hi.
15:47Hi.
15:48Now, Brandon is your creative collaborator.
15:51What's it like seeing her
15:52up on the stage, Brandon?
15:54Uh, surreal.
15:55Um, I'm so proud.
15:57We've been working together
15:59for, like, almost ten years,
16:00and we've been dating
16:01for almost ten years,
16:02and to see him here at the finale,
16:05I can't believe it.
16:06I'm so proud of you,
16:07and I'm rooting for you.
16:10Very sweet.
16:12Very kind.
16:13Your friend Molly's here also.
16:15Molly, you've been on
16:15Team Soldiers for Darlene
16:17for a long time, haven't you?
16:19A long time.
16:19What is your role?
16:21Um, it was mostly
16:22a passenger princess.
16:24You mean Uber driver?
16:27Sort of.
16:28Lots of sing-alongs in the car
16:29on the way to the show
16:30in full face.
16:31Uh-huh.
16:32Lots of weeknight shows
16:34with varying degrees
16:35of crowd attendance.
16:38Well, that's gonna change now.
16:40Yes, definitely.
16:41Now, Darlene,
16:43what would it mean to you
16:43to become America's
16:44next drag superstar?
16:46It would mean that
16:48every success
16:50and struggle
16:52and tacky outfit
16:53along this journey
16:55had a purpose,
16:57and that the voice inside me
17:00that was telling me
17:01to never give up
17:02on this dream
17:03was right.
17:04It would also mean
17:05that y'all are about
17:06to see a lot more
17:07from all drag in the streets.
17:10All right.
17:12Ladies and gentlemen,
17:14Darlene Mitchell.
17:20If you're team Darlene Mitchell,
17:22sound off using hashtag drag race.
17:25See ya.
17:28Welcome back to the grand finale
17:29of RuPaul's Drag Race.
17:31Up next,
17:32she came here a chorus girl,
17:34but she's leaving a star.
17:37It's Mikey Meeks.
17:42I am Mikey Meeks,
17:44and I'm known as the drag ingenue.
17:46But lately I've been feeling
17:47more like the leading lady.

18:12We just want to watch you
18:13and see what you do.
18:14I will.
18:19My highest point
18:20was the rusical.
18:21I found an art form of mine
18:23that I put to the side
18:24because I thought I wasn't
18:25good enough for it.
18:26Tonight was so incredible for you.
18:29My lowest point was that damn
18:31greater queen.
18:32Fifth position,
18:33Miss Mikey Meeks.
18:35Damn.
18:35These girls really tried it.
18:37They voted me to be in the bottom,
18:39but the Meeks lives on.
18:41I wore that shirt that said revenge.
18:43Baby, I got it.
18:43Who do you think you're talking to?

19:13Let's do this.
19:15Here to show us what she could do,
19:18performing her original song Versatile,
19:21it's Mikey Meeks.
19:22I've played the leading lady.
19:25I've been the ingenue.
19:28Comedy and drama,
19:30I can switch between the two.
19:33Just give me any role and I'll go that extra mile.
19:39I'm a natural performer and by God,
19:42I'm versatile.
19:47I can do it all.
19:49I'll bend over backwards so I'll play it on my knees.
19:53I can handle any part, big or small.
19:56Cause baby, I'm versatile.
19:58And I can do it all.
20:01I can do it all.
20:03Broadway, virgin or theater geek.
20:06I can make you come eight times a week.
20:09I can make you come eight times a week.
20:10In a group scene or a one woman show,
20:13I'll leave you with a standing up.
20:20As an orgasm, get ready for my beat finish.
20:23I like to show off.
20:26You like to wash me off.
20:29Whatever you need, just give me a call.
20:33Cause baby, I'm versatile.
20:36And I can do it all.
21:04Oh my goodness.
21:06Mikey, wow.
21:09What a whore.
21:12Now it's time for the judges critiques.
21:14First up, Michelle Visage.
21:15Daughter, you look like a Visage tonight.
21:17And I am very proud of that.
21:20You know what, Mikey?
21:21You've been strong through this whole conversation.
21:23It's a competition, but I think what you did tonight
21:25was really smart.
21:27Because your song, what's it called?
21:29Versatile?
21:30Correct.
21:31I'm versatile too.
21:32I've heard that about you.
21:34Here you are at the end and you are branding.
21:38You are letting people know what you are able to do.
21:42You sang it, you danced it, you showed it.
21:44I thought it was fantastic.
21:48Thank you, Michelle.
21:50Wow, you are what they call a triple threat.
21:52You can sing, you can dance, and you can serve gorgeous face.
21:56I mean, you looked stunning from the moment you started.
21:58It was a smash performance.
22:00You are versed, but you're actually a top performer.
22:04Because that was amazing.
22:07Thank you, Chrissy.
22:09Mikey, that was a hard performance to do.
22:12And you did it perfectly.
22:14It was well executed, and you could see your heart on the stage.
22:19Like, you left it on the floor.
22:21Great job tonight.
22:22Oh, thank you so much.
22:24All right.
22:26Now, what did you learn about yourself on Drag Race?
22:28You know, coming in, I would get a lot of positive affirmation from others.
22:34And I would hear it, but I didn't always feel it.
22:37Well, being here, I learned how to channel that energy and what other people see in me.
22:43And now I'm standing here with that power.
22:46I came in as an ingenue, but now I'm leaving a leading lady.
22:50Yeah!
22:54All right, leading lady, if you could turn back time, what message would you give to little five-year-old
23:00Michael?
23:04That's from my college graduation.
23:08I would say, little Michael, you're about to experience a life full of love and laughter with the best friends
23:20in the world and two parents who support you for who you are.
23:25And you may be teased for that same reason, but just know that they're pointing out your superpower.
23:33You were born to stand out, so go for it.
23:36And every time you wrap yourself in a blanket skirt like it's the only gown, you're preparing yourself for greatness.
23:46And stick with the name Mikey.
23:48I love it.
23:49I love it.
23:52It's funny.
23:53Mikey, you look exactly the same.
23:55You look exactly the same.
23:57And I'm looking what appears to be your father and your mother.
24:00Correct.
24:00You look exactly like the both of them.
24:02I know, I know.
24:03It looks like Dad Bernie is wearing one of my jackets.
24:05Yes, yes.
24:06Gorgeous.
24:07Faye, did you dress him tonight?
24:08I did.
24:09You did?
24:10I bought the clothes she dressed mixed.
24:12He bought it.
24:13So, now, where does Mikey get her stage presence?
24:17Which one of you?
24:19Mom?
24:19Well, I was a dancer.
24:23You were a show girl.
24:24I was a little bit of a show girl.
24:26Yes, yes, yes.
24:27But no, he was born that way.
24:30Yeah.
24:30He had the passion to be a performer when he was a youngster.
24:34Really?
24:34Always entertaining.
24:35When Regis Philbin had his show, who wants to be a millionaire?
24:38Yeah.
24:38He would do the imitation to anybody who walked by.
24:43Well, Faye and Bernie, you done good.
24:46You done good.
24:48Now, Mikey, is there anything you'd like to say to your parents?
24:51Oh, man.
24:52This is crazy.
24:53Don't move out.
24:54I love you both so much.
24:56We love you too, honey.
24:57Thank you for always supporting me in my dreams.
25:01And, uh, I couldn't be standing here today without what you've given me.
25:07And I hope to be making you so proud.
25:09So proud.
25:10I'm so proud.
25:13Mikey, what would it mean to you to become America's next drag superstar?
25:17You know, Ru, I'm a big believer in everything happens for a reason.
25:22And in my life and career, I have faced a lot of rejection.
25:26But I never lived by the no's.
25:30Because I knew it was leading to my ultimate yes.
25:32And that's what this moment is right here.
25:34You've said it yourself.
25:35You can look at the darkness, but don't stare.
25:40So with this title, I'm stepping into my light.
25:43And I hope to inspire others to do the same.
25:47I love it.
25:49Well, she worked her fanny off this season.
25:53Give it up for Mikey Meeks.
26:01If you are Team Mikey Meeks, sound off using hashtag drag race.
26:09This is the grand finale of RuPaul's Drag Race.
26:13This next queen has turned the art of drag into a science.
26:18It's Nene Coco.
26:24I'm Nene Coco.
26:25I am the high-energy, high-fashion diva from Denver, Colorado.
26:31My journey started off very hot with a win.
26:34I will wear this outfit outside.
26:36I love it.
26:37And it was not long before the reality of the competition hit me.
26:42I feel like I was overthinking what I had to do.
26:45Wait, I'll go with two.
26:47There have been a couple hiccups.
26:48Mr. Paul!
26:49It's not a family resemblance to me.
26:52But at the end of the day, I have pushed through
26:54and given my all every step of the way.
26:58There are so many moments of joy sprinkled throughout this experience.
27:02Let's breathe, baby!
27:04I've proven that I am funny.
27:07I'm a talented designer.
27:09She created a wow effect.
27:11From making most of my runway looks
27:13to fighting to the end of this competition
27:15through lip sync after lip sync after lip sync.
27:20I feel like I got off to a rough start with some of the queens.
27:23He-He has a gun!
27:24He-He has a gun!
27:24He-He has a gun!
27:25He-He has a gun!
27:26But by the end of the competition,
27:27I found a way to communicate better.
27:30I want to connect with y'all,
27:31and I, like, struggle to do that in moments.
27:34This experience taught me that the art of drag
27:37is an amazing way to express emotion,
27:40but you have to understand the core humanity within all of it,
27:45and that is the most important.
27:49I walked into this competition as a mechanical engineer,
27:52and I am leaving a drag superstar.
27:54I'm so ready for this final performance.
27:56I have one last thing to prove,
27:58and it's that I deserve this crown.
28:01Bitch, get ready.
28:02And now, performing Stimulate is the electrifying Nene Coco.
28:10Automate.
28:12Concentrate.
28:14Imitate.
28:16Calculate.
28:18It is t-t-time to-to get to-to work.
28:22Walk in, talk out and submit it.
28:25Concentrate.
28:26Don't ever quit it.
28:27You'll forget you ever did it, did it.
28:30Uh.
28:31Keep your body at attention.
28:33See perfection and precision.
28:35Emotion is inefficient.
28:37Fishing.
28:38Fishing.
28:39Fishing.
28:40Fishing.
28:41Stimulate your soul.
28:43Stimulate your mind.
28:45Stimulate your ears and eyes and all your senses.
28:49I want to free you from your loss and take you to your highs.
28:54Stimulate your ears and eyes and all your senses.
29:21I want to free you from your loss and take you to your highs.
29:27Stimulate your ears and eyes and all your senses.
29:31No!
29:35No!
29:37No!
29:38No!
29:41No!
29:42No!
29:45No!
29:47No!
29:47No!
29:50Yes!
29:51No!
29:52No!
29:53No!
29:54No!
30:02Wow, I want to work in your office.
30:05You're welcome, too, anytime.
30:07Let's hear from the judges.
30:09Come on, cold-hearted snake.
30:10That was so amazing, so tight,
30:15and you had to be with that type of choreography.
30:17This is what it looks like when you keep your eye on the prize.
30:21It's been so fun, and you've been amazing.
30:23Thank you, Michelle.
30:24Yeah.
30:26Oh, my gosh, I'm cuckoo for Nene Coco.
30:29It was just so captivating.
30:31From the moment you started that really intense choreography,
30:34we were all drawn in, we were locked in,
30:36the audience was with you the entire time.
30:38That was really phenomenal.
30:40Congratulations.
30:41Thanks, guys.
30:44Nene, you ate that performance up.
30:47Yes, and I'm so proud of you because that was not easy.
30:50From the reveal to coming down off the table,
30:53onto a chair, in the heel,
30:54and then doing the fast performance in the chair,
30:56that was crazy.
30:57So just all season long,
30:59you really showed what it takes to be a real entertainer.
31:04Beautiful job.
31:06Beautiful.
31:09Now, Nene, what did you learn about yourself during your time at Drag Race?
31:13The moral of the story for me was it's not that serious,
31:17and for so much of my life, I've been afraid of taking risks,
31:21and this competition throws that out the window.
31:24So let it all go and just have fun.
31:27Yeah, yeah.
31:27How did you get along with the other queens?
31:30Queens?
31:31Care to share?
31:34I feel like there was a point at the beginning of the competition
31:36where I was coming in a little bit hot with some of the shade.
31:40I learned a lot that half of this competition is the challenges
31:44and the other half is the relationships that you build with these other girls.
31:48And thankfully, throughout all of that
31:50and letting go of some of that insecurity,
31:52I feel like I've been able to find so many friends in all of you.
31:56And thank you all for being patient with me
31:58as I learned how to communicate really what I meant
32:01and what I was trying to say.
32:02We love you.
32:02We love you.
32:03We love you.
32:05Love you, girls.
32:06Now, Nini Coco, what words of wisdom
32:09do you have to share with three-year-old Nico?
32:14Oh, my God.
32:21You are such a happy little kid,
32:24and I want you to hold on to that for as long as you can.
32:31Because I think when you realize that
32:33you're a little bit different than everybody else,
32:35you're going to start to feel scared of who you are
32:38and what people think about you
32:39and get scared of this future that you can't control.
32:44But I want you to know and remember one thing,
32:47and that is your queerness is the greatest gift
32:52that this life has to give you.
32:54And I want you to go to more parties
32:59and don't study so hard.
33:01Be faggy every single day.
33:05And I hope that I made you proud
33:08because you make me so proud.
33:11Ah, lovely.
33:13Now, I see a beautiful woman
33:16and a gorgeous man in the front row here.
33:19Yes, that is my mom, Kim, and my boyfriend, AJ.
33:23Mom, are those cheekbones natural?
33:25I'm afraid they are.
33:28They are gorgeous.
33:32Now, when you saw Nene Coco in drag the first time,
33:35did you see yourself?
33:36Who did you see?
33:37Oh, absolutely saw me.
33:39Uh-huh.
33:40The very first time,
33:42he was in a dark wig.
33:44Uh-huh.
33:44And he goes,
33:46he looks just like you.
33:47It freaked me out.
33:48So...
33:49Now, AJ,
33:50you are also in the science world.
33:52How did two nerds like you meet?
33:54Is there a grinder or something for nerds?
33:58Is it called nerder?
33:59Yeah, science nerder.
34:02How did you guys meet?
34:03Yeah, we were in school,
34:04just going at it and...
34:06Oh!
34:07Hey!
34:11How do two smart people
34:13make a relationship work for so long?
34:16Honestly, he's...
34:17He's the wings to my anchor.
34:19We just...
34:21We...
34:22We're paired really well.
34:23I love that.
34:25I love it.
34:26Final question.
34:27Nene Coco,
34:28why do you want to be
34:29America's next drag superstar?
34:33I feel like
34:34drag is my own liberation
34:37and it is the thing
34:38that makes me feel the most alive.
34:40And to be America's next drag superstar,
34:42I feel that calling
34:44and that responsibility
34:44to progress all of us
34:47towards a queer future
34:49that is better for everyone
34:50because the life we're living today
34:52feels kind of fucked.
34:53And if we can bring some more joy
34:55and some more power
34:57to queerness
34:58and all of us people
35:00who are struggling,
35:02that is the purpose
35:03that drag gives me.
35:04And I want to share that
35:05with the rest of the world.
35:06Lovely.
35:07One more round of applause
35:08for Nene Coco.
35:15If you are team Nene Coco,
35:18sound off using hashtag drag race.
35:24Welcome back
35:25to the grand finale
35:26of RuPaul's Drag Race.
35:28There's only one word
35:29to describe Miley Cyrus.
35:32Charisma, uniqueness, nerve,
35:33and talent.
35:36M is for music.
35:38Miley doesn't just make hits.
35:40She creates bangers.
35:42The Grammy award-winning
35:43singer-songwriter can do it all.
35:45Country, rock, pop, and hip-hop.
35:47Her unique voice
35:48is always rich, raspy,
35:50and revolutionary.
35:52I is for iconic.
35:53Whether swinging from a wrecking ball,
35:55duetting with her godmother,
35:57Dolly Parton,
35:57or storming the red carpet
35:59from TV specials to the VMAs,
36:01Miley is the moment.
36:03Miley commands every stage
36:04she's on
36:05and every stage she's in.
36:07Elle is for the love

36:12to fight against judgment.
36:14By raising millions
36:15with her Happy Hippie Foundation,
36:17an important branch
36:17of the Miley Cyrus Foundation,
36:19she fights for homeless queer youth.
36:21And by using her platform
36:22to advocate for equality,
36:24Miley has already created
36:25an impactful legacy
36:26and achieved LGBTQ plus icon status.
36:30E is for extraordinary.
36:32Miley was just 11 years old
36:34when she secured the lead role
36:35of Hannah Montana,
36:36a show that bridged her childhood
36:38with rapid pop culture fame.
36:40Her ability to evolve,
36:41like her talent,
36:42is extraordinary.
36:43She's an inspiration to us all
36:44as she continues to grow
36:46as a person and an artist.
36:48And why is for the 20 years
36:50Miley has spent rewriting the rules,
36:52reminding us that reinvention is power,
36:54that the bravest thing you can be
36:56is unapologetically yourself.
36:58And at 33,
36:59she's just getting started.
37:00For her dazzling contributions,
37:02past, present, and future,
37:04tonight we celebrate Miley Cyrus
37:06with the Giving Us Lifetime Achievement Award.
37:12All rise for Miley Cyrus!
37:41Come on, boys!
37:54This makes the Grammy look cheap.
37:58Miley, my darling,
37:59now you've been working in this business
38:00since you were a child.
38:03What keeps you going?
38:04Moments like this,
38:06to stand beside my idols and icons,
38:09like mother-roo,
38:12and get my flowers.
38:14Yes!
38:15But to also use my platform
38:17to serve this incredible community.
38:20I love that.
38:21I love that.
38:22Now, I always wanted to ask you,
38:24why do you love drag so much?
38:26Well, because I'm a drag queen.
38:28Yeah, well, there you go.
38:29And I love the idea
38:30of an alter ego giving us power.
38:32You know, my persona
38:33just performed in Paris
38:35with Beyonce,
38:36so she's my hero.
38:38Oh, my gosh.
38:39Now, as a super fan,
38:41is there a drag race challenge
38:42that you would absolutely kill?
38:45Snatch Game
38:46as Hannah Montana.
38:48Yes!
38:52That's right.
38:56All right, Miley,
38:57one last question.
38:59What would you say
39:00to your four-year-old self?
39:03Aw.
39:05Life's a climb,
39:07but the view is great,
39:08especially from Beverly Hills.
39:15Miley, we love you,
39:17we thank you,
39:18and we will always be there for you.
39:21Give it up for Miley Cyrus.
39:33Welcome back to the grand finale
39:35of RuPaul's Drag Race.
39:37Tonight, we salute
39:38three legendary queens
39:40who kept the lights on
39:41so the rest of us
39:43could keep on shining.
39:47William Dorsey Swan,
39:48a formerly enslaved black man,
39:50was the first person
39:51to call themselves
39:52the queen of drag.
39:53In the 1800s,
39:54Swan threw secret balls
39:56in Washington, D.C.
39:57When the police raided
39:58one of her parties,
39:59she didn't run.
40:00She resisted
40:02and became the first American
40:03to take legal action
40:05in defense of LGBTQ rights.
40:08A World War II veteran,
40:10Jose Saria,
40:11also known as Mama Jose,
40:13and the Nightingale

40:19she led the patrons
40:20in rousing rendition of
40:21God Save Us, Nelly Queens.
40:23In 1961,
40:25in full drag,
40:27Jose ran for San Francisco
40:28Board of Supervisors,
40:30becoming the first openly gay person
40:32to run for public office
40:33in the United States of America.
40:36In the 1960s,
40:38Mother Flawless Sabrina
40:40organized hundreds of drag pageants
40:43across the country.
40:44In cities where it was illegal
40:46for men to wear women's clothing.
40:48And when the police showed up,
40:50Flawless faced arrest
40:51so her queens wouldn't have to.
40:53Jailed over 100 times,
40:55she continued to be a fearless
40:57and outspoken advocate
40:59into her late 70s.
41:00And her work is immortalized
41:02in the iconic documentary,
41:04The Queen.
41:07Attention, dolls and divas,
41:09cubs and chubs,
41:11twinks and twunks,
41:12thims and fems.
41:13Now it's your turn
41:14to keep the lights on.
41:16You can start by donating
41:17to the ACLU Drag Defense Fund
41:19so future generations
41:21can share their queer joy
41:22with the world.
41:24Bob, does that mean
41:25we can't stop pedaling?
41:27Nuh-uh.
41:28We gotta keep on keeping on.
41:31I'll drink to that.
41:34And now,
41:35please welcome
41:36our reigning Miss Congeniality,
41:39Crystal Envy.
41:40I'm that bitch.
41:42I'm that bitch.
41:43I'm that bitch.
41:44That's the way it is.
41:45I'm that bitch.
41:46I'm that bitch.
41:47I'm that bitch.
41:49That's the way it is.
41:50Don't go so too rich.
41:51If you be that bitch,
41:52but you like that bitch,
41:54it's unanimous.
41:56I'm that bitch.
42:05Good evening.
42:07You know,
42:08when it comes to being
42:09congenial,
42:10I'm 100%

42:35Jane Doe!
42:44How did that happen?
42:48Oh, my God.
42:51Congratulations, Jane Doe.
42:53What do you have to say?
42:54Well,
42:55congeniality
42:55is not something
42:56the women in my family
42:57generally aspire to,
43:00but one of the best,
43:01like, gifts
43:02that this whole experience
43:02has given me
43:03is my relationships
43:04with these girls.
43:05You are the best prize
43:07that I think any of us get,
43:08so thank you so much.
43:09I love you.
43:09I love you.
43:10I love you.
43:10Thank you!
43:13But hold up.
43:15Hold up.
43:15Do you smell that?
43:17Ooh,
43:18it's the sweet smell
43:19of success.

43:32Congratulations, Queens.
43:34Now France, Queens.
43:35France!
43:36A little bit of love
43:37goes a long, long way
43:4050 years, one or two
43:42Friday, a little bit of love
43:45Come on, love
43:49Welcome back
43:50to the grand finale
43:51of RuPaul's Drag Race.
43:53Now, I have some exciting news.
43:55For the first time
43:56in Drag Race herstory,
43:57this season's winner
43:59will snatch up
44:00an official makeup collaboration
44:02with Anastasia Beverly Hills.
44:05Earlier this week,
44:06our top three queens
44:07met with ABH president
44:09Norvina.
44:10Take a look.
44:16Studio Anastasia Beverly Hills.
44:18Bitch!
44:18How are you?
44:19Welcome!
44:20This is a dream come true
44:23going through all this stuff.
44:25I wanted to know from you
44:26like what would be you
44:27in a product.
44:28My drag is all about
44:30bold colors,
44:32super pigmented eyeshadow.
44:33Two aesthetic points
44:34that I really go for.
44:35Old Hollywood glamour
44:36and then that party girl
44:37aesthetic.
44:38Bright blush,
44:39bright highlight,
44:41tacky, trashy,
44:42you know what I mean?
44:42The girl you would see
44:43outside of the truck stop.
44:45You know, the blue eyeshadow.
44:47Okay.
44:47This is so incredible.
44:49This is a long time coming.
44:50What I've always wanted to do
44:51is just share some of the
44:52excitement for the winner
44:53and really highlight
44:55and prop them up
44:56with something that I feel
44:57could express themselves
44:58in a way that they do
45:00every single day
45:00on the show,
45:01which is makeup.
45:02So what colors are you feeling?
45:03I feel like a pinky highlight
45:05would be great too
45:06to go into the blush.
45:07Like a silvery pink.
45:07Silvery pink would go
45:08into the blush.
45:09My whole idea is
45:10when the spotlight hits,
45:12you see the glow going on.
45:14It glows.
45:14So it's an undercover
45:16explosion.
45:17Oh, I love that.
45:18Right?
45:18Yeah.
45:19Okay, so you want
45:19like a gradient of blue.
45:20Like a gradient of blue
45:22would be fantastic.
45:23I love it.
45:24Kind of do like a darker tone
45:25right under here.
45:26Exactly.
45:26That really pops
45:27the green in your eyes.
45:28Okay, you know
45:29all your compliments.
45:30Yeah.
45:30It's amazing.
45:31I'm so impressed.
45:32I grew up
45:32with these big Texas sunsets
45:34and you're getting ready
45:35for the night.
45:35That golden hour
45:36is that last moment
45:37to make that impact
45:38in the light.
45:39And I do always lean
45:40into those sunset colors.
45:41This is wild.
45:42I like it though.
45:43Drag is so important.
45:44It always has been,
45:45but especially right now.
45:47Makeup is a big part of it
45:48and we want to show
45:49that we're here
45:51to celebrate drag.
45:52I think that drag
45:53is like the beacon of light
45:54amongst all the fuckery.
45:56Can I say fuckery?
45:58Sorry.
45:59I got way too passionate
46:00right now.
46:02Oh my, you look amazing!
