00:05Yes, season 17 is crazy.
00:07Well, I am curious because now that you have
00:09a year under your belt, what was it like
00:12going into this season?
00:13Oh, I was prepared.
00:14I'm like, who wants some?
00:16Who gonna get it?
00:18So yeah, this season I was ready.
00:20I came in ready.
00:20Yes, yes.
00:21Yeah, I didn't know what was gonna happen,
00:22but I was ready for any drama if it came my way.
00:25I am excited to jump into everything.
00:27I know we've only seen two episodes so far,
00:29but so much has already happened
00:30and there's still so much lingering even from last season.
00:33In the premiere, it was revealed that Drew questioned
00:36the validity of your receipts at the reunion
00:38when she spoke to Phaedra.
00:40That's how me and you talk was at reunion.
00:42The receipts weren't receding, which I told my friend.
00:44All right, receding, receding means that you're questioning
00:46the receipts that your friend brought.
00:47What was your reaction to hearing that?
00:49You know, I wanted Drew to, you know,
00:54support me in the moment because I was gung-ho on Phaedra.
00:57I'm like, it's Phaedra.
00:59I don't care what anybody says, it's Phaedra.
01:01And Drew had some reservations and she was like,
01:05but maybe, I know the guy said it was Phaedra,
01:07but, you know, let's make sure these receipts recede.
01:10Yeah.
01:11And, you know, when she said the receipts weren't receding,
01:14I was like, no, you're supposed to stay on my,
01:15I'm like, uh-uh.
01:18I don't care, you have my back, right?
01:21So yeah, Drew was just keeping me, you know,
01:23making me see, allowing me to see that maybe, you know,
01:26you should take a second look at this.
01:27You referred to Shamia as Shemessi,
01:29and you kind of said that she,
01:30it almost seemed like she wanted you and Drew
01:33to have a problem.
01:34I don't understand why Shamia warns Drew and I
01:36to have an issue.
01:37She definitely is trying to invoke a reaction from me.
01:41Shemessi is active.
01:44What do you think Shamia would get out of that?
01:47Uh, her leg back, retribution.
01:50She feels like I destroyed or I had a hand
01:52in destroying her relationship with Portia,
01:54which wasn't true.
01:56However, I feel like Shamia's like,
01:58yeah, I'm gonna get my leg back.
01:59I mean, she didn't come in accommodating.
02:02Like, she was like, why don't you feel this way?
02:03Why, why?
02:04You should.
02:05I'm like, damn, I don't like that energy.
02:07So yeah, I think Shamia wants her leg back.
02:09Drew, I know there's been some news lately
02:12that's come out, a judge ordered that she has
02:13to vacate her house by the end of May.
02:15Her ex-husband is getting sole physical custody
02:18of their kids.
02:19What was your reaction to hearing that?
02:21I was sad, it was definitely hurt for Drew.
02:23I know as a mom, we all want to be with our kids.
02:27And I don't think there's a court in the world,
02:30unless you're an abusive or anything like that,
02:32that should separate a mother,
02:34a loving, kind mother from their children.
02:37So my heart goes out to Drew
02:39and I know that she will bounce back
02:42and her kids will be right with her.
02:44Because I know she's gonna fight for her children.
02:46Yes, have you spoken to her at all?
02:47You know, I told her I was praying for her and I'm thinking
02:51about her because it's tough.
02:53I can't imagine.
02:54I wake up every morning with my kids
02:56and that's something no mother,
02:58no loving mother should go without.
02:59Just too much.
03:00So I want Drew to be with her family
03:03and Drew wants to be with her family
03:04and she should be with her family.
03:05She loves her kids.
03:07In last week's episode, you apologized to Phaedra
03:09for accusing her of orchestrating the whole Marcus thing.
03:12Did you send those people to think why Kelly's back?
03:16Absolutely not.
03:19And you know why I apologize for not even asking?
03:22Because it was a bunch of BS.
03:24Well, thank you.
03:25What made you finally decide
03:26to kind of believe what she was saying?
03:29You know, I apologized to Phaedra
03:31for not asking her first.
03:34That was what the apology was for.
03:38I didn't ask her.
03:40You know, I didn't sit down and say,
03:41Phaedra, did you do it?
03:42No, I actually took the guy's word for it
03:45and ran with it.
03:46And so I didn't allow her an opportunity
03:48to defend herself, an attorney, you know.
03:51She didn't have the opportunity to just say no.
03:54And so I apologized for that.
03:56And I thought it was necessary for us to move on
03:59and move forward and that's the opportunity.
04:02You know, I'm happy I allowed her
04:05to speak her piece and say,
04:06no, I didn't do it, finally.
04:08Like, you could ask this last year.
04:10Now you want to ask it?
04:12But no, you know, I apologize for that.
04:15Are you still looking into
04:16who may have orchestrated that
04:17or is it just kind of in the past?
04:19I think I know, you know, what it was.
04:20And yeah, it's a thing in the past.
04:23Yes.
04:24Those were rookie mistakes for me.
04:26You know, I didn't know this was a new world.
04:28I'm like, so, oh, who did it?
04:30You're going to tell me the truth, right?
04:31I believe you, stranger off the street.
04:34You know what I mean?
04:36Whatever you say is the truth.
04:38Yeah.
04:38And so rookie mistakes in this season.
04:40And that's why I didn't take what Shamia said to heart.
04:42I was like, you know, I'm taking my time
04:44with anything that comes to me this season.
04:46Yes.
04:46And so, yeah, you'll see a lot of that.
04:48When we had Phaedra here,
04:49she was like teasing a blossoming friendship
04:51between the two of you.
04:52How, what is your,
04:53the current state of your friendship today?
04:55What's that like?
04:55I think Phaedra is fun.
04:57She's a good time.
04:58And I am enjoying Phaedra's company, her reads.
05:02She is so quick with her reads.
05:03She can get you together so quick.
05:05And not to be on the receiving end of that feels good,
05:07you know, because you got to sharpen your tools with Phaedra.
05:10So I enjoy Phaedra's company a lot this season.
05:13Yeah.
05:13Well, I have to say, kudos to Charles
05:16for coming back this season,
05:17still fully supporting you doing it.
05:19Because I feel like, you know,
05:21you get somebody who's already kind of in the public eye,
05:23who already is a public figure,
05:24and they may get scared and be like,
05:25nope, I don't want the cameras on me anymore.
05:27Was that a conversation you guys had?
05:29We have a funny dynamic.
05:31And like I said before, what you see with Charles and I,
05:33it's a real relationship happening in real time.
05:36And he really got on my nerves.
05:38And, you know, you get to see that.
05:40We're not sugarcoating anything.
05:41Yeah.
05:42We're 10 years married.
05:44And so, you know, he's here to support me.
05:47He's always going to be there to support me,
05:48even in, you know, at Portia's house.
05:50He was sitting right in the kitchen, like, okay.
05:53Like, my wingspan can reach over there.
05:55Like, y'all done messing with her.
05:57So Charles is definitely, you know, going to be in my corner.
06:00Well, shifting gears a little bit,
06:02everyone is loving Portia's new era also.
06:04We got to meet Sway in last week's episode.
06:07Yeah.
06:07This is my friend Sway.
06:09How you doing Sway?
06:10Yo, Sway.
06:11I love these hands.
06:13What do you think of their relationship?
06:14Do you approve?
06:15I approve.
06:16It's funny because when we met the gentleman,
06:18I was like, oh, he's nice.
06:19And then we met Sway.
06:21And every time I would see Portia, I'd be like, where's Sway?
06:23Like, I just stopped asking about the guy.
06:25I'm like, where's Sway?
06:26She was like, girl, if you don't stop asking about Sway,
06:30you know, because when she was around Sway,
06:32when we met Sway, she was just, you know, a ball of energy.
06:35Yeah.
06:35So you could feel the attraction between those two.
06:39I'm happy that the fans get to see that.
06:41I think Portia's in a good space.
06:43Well, there are also rumors floating around
06:44that Kelly allegedly slept with a married man.
06:47Obviously, she's denied that.
06:48But what do you make of those allegations?
06:50You know what?
06:50Kelly denies it.
06:51So I don't want to say it's true if Kelly says it's not.
06:55That's Kelly's, you know, she has to make that truth known.
07:00And so far, she said it's not true.
07:02And I believe her.
07:04And Kelly, you know, Kelly don't take that laying down.
07:07You're going to see a lot of Kelly.
07:10Yes.
07:10Maybe too much, but you're going to hear it for sure.
07:14But, you know, Kelly does not take that laying down.
07:17It's going to be a good dynamic between those two.

07:20Well, some social media users noticed,
07:22it was in last week's episode,
07:23that someone grabbed your iconic fan away.
07:26Took my fans.
07:26I was like, who told you to do that?
07:28I didn't feel like that was necessary.
07:31I had it the whole entire day.
07:33Yeah.
07:33And it was hot in there.
07:35So much so that I brought multiple fans,
07:37and I was passing them out to people
07:38because everybody was high.
07:40It wasn't just me.
07:41And so here I go outside, like, ooh, let's go.
07:44It's time to go.
07:44And now you want to take my fans?
07:46I didn't appreciate it at all, at all.
07:48And I was shocked that they would even do that.
07:50Yeah.
07:51Well, somebody was like, I think somebody posted a clip,
07:53and they were like, now, why did they take Angela's fan away?
07:56Yes, I saw that on Twitter, and they are defending me.
07:58Yes, for Angela's, they're like, give Angela her fan.

08:01And I needed my fan.
08:03That, yeah.
08:04It's hot down there in Atlanta.
08:05It's hot, but they hated the mics, the sound.
08:08Okay, that makes sense.
08:09It's a lot.
08:10It was a technical issue.
08:11It was a technical issue, but they had to snatch it.
08:13Like, you couldn't pull me to the side and say, we need Japan.
08:16We just snatched it.
08:17So you went to your first BravoCon this last year,
08:20and I saw a video, your dress got stuck to Lisa Barlow.
08:24Can you please walk me through that moment?
08:25I was mortified.
08:27I'm like, ah, of all the people.
08:30Was that your first time meeting?
08:31No, I met Lisa before at an Amazon event.
08:34I love her.
08:35Like, I am so Lisa Barlow, team Lisa Barlow.
08:39I love her.
08:39And so I was like, give me a hug.
08:41And it was actually our third hug.
08:43Like, we didn't even need to hug then.
08:45And when we hugged, I'm like, I know my dress.

08:49Like, I'm like, somebody help me help.
08:51And she didn't know what was happening.
08:53I'm like, this damn dress.
08:54But I thought I looked good.

08:58When Portia was on Watch What Happens Live the other week,
09:00she said that she'd like to see you on Traders.
09:02Hey, Angela, Angela just sits back, she watches the situation.

09:06And she comes up with her own idea of it.

10:15I'm excited for the season as a whole, but I feel like this season fans will get closure
10:20to some unanswered questions, I'm sorry, that they may have.
10:24And, you know, I feel like the fans will get closure to, you know, some questions they
10:30may have, new relationships forming and blossoming, some may be falling off.
10:36So, you just got to stick around and see.
10:38Yeah.
