00:00Welcome back. We are going live to Venezuela as the march for a day for a country without sanctions continues.
00:07We're seeing the beginning of this pilgrimage.
00:10The governor of the state of Tashara, one of the starting point, is preparing to start from this pilgrimage that
00:17will last until May 1st,
00:19when they all gather in Caracas for the main event.
00:23And this is the march, as we're saying, for the great pilgrimage for a country without sanctions.
00:28It is a way of the country, of Venezuelan people, across different sectors to demand an end for sanctions,
00:36an end to the blockade that has been imposed against the Bolivarian Republic,
00:40as we see the Venezuelan people to walk side by side, shoulder by shoulder, by the different authorities.
00:46Earlier we had images of Oslo Cabello, the Secretary General of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela,
00:53also taking part in this rally and expecting him to have statements, as we're seeing, over in the set,
01:03as we can see in the middle with the blue shirt.
01:05So as we were saying, this is the beginning of the pilgrimage for a country for peace,
01:11and for a country in peace and without sanctions.
01:14As it continues, we can see the large gathering of Venezuelans that have fun together,
01:19as we're saying, these images are coming from the state of Tashira,
01:23one of the starting points of this great pilgrimage.
01:27So we have seen also, they will also live from Zucre and from Amazonas,
01:32and they will all come together in Caracas on May 1st,
01:36for a great gathering of the people of Venezuela there in Caracas.
01:43Now, as we're saying, the pilgrimage for peace and without sanctions will go over the next couple of weeks,
01:52until May 1st, and this is the reaffirmation of the Venezuelan people,
01:57as they, together with the Bolivarian government,
02:02continue to express their support for the development of the nation,
02:08and continue to follow the call of the acting president, Delce Rodriguez,
02:13to listen, to reach a moment of coexistence, of reconciliation,
02:22which is what has been described, this is the stage that Venezuela must succeed now,
02:26in a moment, as we're saying, of coexistence,
02:28and the spaces have been created with the National Commission for Coexistence and Peace.
02:34This is the main objective of this pilgrimage that is starting this Sunday,
02:39which is also something that is an important historic date for Venezuela,
02:45as this is the date also of the Declaration of Independence over 200 years ago,
02:51over 216 years ago.
02:55Let's listen to what the governor of Tachara is listening, Freddy Bernal.
03:01Now, we are going forward with work, with efforts.
03:20The dynamics with Colombia allows us for a commerce on that side of over a million consumers.
03:28Secondly, the possibility of the binational economic zone of our borders
03:34for the exchange of products constantly,
03:37and install a national and foreign industry with protection and with incentive to grow.
03:44And thirdly, the exchange, the commercial exchange,
03:48which I already talked about, has created millions of dollars.
03:53So, businessmen, if you want to earn money, come here to Tachara,
04:00so that you are among the first when sanctions are lifted.
04:03If you want to grow,
04:06if you want to grow,
04:08come here.
04:15So, Diosdado,
04:25where we were seeing what was being experienced right now in the state of Tachara,
04:31as we were saying, the pilgrimage was beginning,
04:34and was going to be moved forward.
04:36As we were saying, this is a pilgrimage, a nationwide pilgrimage for a country without sanctions and in peace,
04:42which is the call of the Venezuelan people to the immediate lifting of all unilateral sanctions
04:48that are currently being implemented against a country,
04:50which, of course, hinders the economic development,
04:53the correct economic development of the country,
04:54and, of course, the daily life of the people.
04:56This is a pilgrimage that will last for the next couple of weeks.
04:59People are going to take to the streets in unison with their different authorities
05:03and different sectors across the nation,
05:05and it will finish on May 1st with a great gathering in the capital of the Bolivar Republic
05:11as the Venezuelan people, as we were saying,
05:13reaffirms their commitment with Venezuela, with the sovereignty of the nation.
05:17Let's now continue with other topics.
