00:11the wind direction is changing so we've got to get out of it because if that mum wakes up we're
00:16in trouble as soon as she woke up it was like go time for most of us the idea of
00:35being eaten by
00:36wild animals feels impossible because today more than half of us live in cities
00:45we've traded open horizons for walls and left just a handful of people still living by the
00:50land they're the earth's original explorers the nomads and as their land disappears so does their
00:57way of life it would be easy to believe that there's no area left still classed as truly wild
01:04but you'd be wrong there are still majestic pockets of land that are rugged wild and teeming with life
01:10we found not just one hippo but all the hippos this is the Tanzania you don't get to see
01:19and the critical thing is we need them for the health of our planet I'm Lucy and I'm an explorer
01:24I've been leading expeditions all over the world for over a decade and now I'm on a mission to
01:30take you with me I've journeyed to some of the world's most distant corners but this time I'm
01:35trying to cross one of Africa's last great wildernesses on foot a route that only a few
01:40have traveled and never in this way once in a lifetime experience feel like I've just stepped
01:45into a world and just trying to keep up I want to show you the beauty this place really is
01:50a paradise
01:50the surprising lots of African killer bees this is mad and the downright terrifying oh my god I'll be
01:58joined by those who still live by the land true nomadic hunter-gatherers and learn how they're adapting in a
02:04world that's changing fast I'm gonna have to get used to the fact things are gonna get killed as
02:09we journey across this harsh terrain we'll face predators she's looking right at us extreme heat
02:14and days without water I don't know if I've got enough for 24 hours we'll need to come together
02:19and learn to work with the wild not against it I want to prove that this planet still has unspoilt
02:24places of all shapes and sizes still left to fight for because it has never been more important for us
02:30to
02:30build up our relationship with the natural world and protect these last wildernesses at
02:35all costs this is unbelievably spectacular
02:48the last leg of our journey took us deep into the dense forest with a constant danger of elephants
02:55back in Hadzaland rations were running dangerously low in a desperate food mission I put what I
03:00learned to the test yes got the honey this helped us reach julius and delali's special birthplace
03:07before celebrating with a feast thank you rested and resupplied we pushed on
03:15and finally reached the gateway to our biggest challenge the serengeti we all think that we know
03:21the serengeti but i think this is a way of really showing a part that you never get to see
03:25before
03:26and i can't wait to find out what that pie is
03:34we're in tanzania and in the final phase of this incredible journey
03:39so far it's taken us through wild forest had the dry lands and now we enter the iconic serengeti
03:44national park walking across parts where it's only the wildlife that roam we have to cross these
03:50endless plains to get to our destination and if we can pass through safely we'll reach nogoro goro
03:56climb into the highlands and finish at a sacred volcano
04:02as soon as we arrived here there's just so much wildlife
04:06the serengeti you just realize just how huge it is it's fast i feel incredibly lucky to be able to
04:13have the permission to be walking through the heart of it like this where so few people get to see
04:23absolutely mind-blowing
04:26the serengeti is iconic to tanzania and the country's oldest national park
04:32it's one of the most important ecosystems on the planet home to some of the last free-roaming
04:36wildlife migrations on earth people travel from all over the world to see the serengeti
04:42but usually from the safety of a vehicle on the dirt roads we're in a far more remote area and
04:49we
04:49well we're on foot making us completely exposed to its predators and that means we have to take precautions
05:04so we've crossed the threshold of the serengeti now and julius has just picked up the weapon the gun
05:10for protection and he's also swapped for a smaller rucksack just so he has more flexibility
05:18if we were needing to go into action
05:23the weapon is a last resort and even then it's no guarantee really we must keep our wits about us
05:29and avoid ever using it
05:32there's a lot of places to hide around here for the predators
05:35they're everywhere winnis isn't calming my nerves he's just the predators are everywhere
05:42it's just a matter of do we spot them yeah hopefully we spot them first
05:48going for a wee in the serengeti while you're walking
05:54is there feeling a little bit like you're a prey
05:59i like to see and every maybe half-crowned a lion half-crowned a buffalo charging
06:07yeah it's nature you love and you just love love being with the wildlife
06:10yes yeah well we're good we're glad to have your tracking skills
06:27that's the thing about the wild like most of the time they're probably going to think what
06:32the hell is that human doing on fur i've never seen that before and hopefully they'll get out
06:38the way just got to be ready for the off chance that they don't get out of the way
06:44you know that when in one field of view you've got like the wildebeest you've got the zebra
06:49you've got pumba by pumba i mean warthog you know that the predators are also around here
06:57i say that with a smile but constantly looking out for the big one is of course lion but then
07:03you've got the leopards and uh yeah it's really cool that you can just walk amongst the wildlife
07:17amazing
07:25so i don't know if you can see behind me but there is a huge line a few kilometers long
07:29of wildebeest
07:30coming from the northern part of tanzania down to here looking for the fresh grass the migration
07:36continues every year nearly two million wildebeest migrate in a vast loop across east africa following
07:44the rains and fresh grass right now they're passing here and wherever they go everything else sort of
07:51follows the lions they don't migrate they wait and let the herds of prey come to them
07:58us moving on foot means we're not separate from that system we're just another presence moving
08:03through it and that puts us in danger for those waiting lions long grass in the serengeti and the heat
08:17getting low on water it is hot work
08:23we're all really thirsty and i've been sort of hallucinating as i've been walking
08:29we've got to make camp before i start hallucinating even more
08:33oh it is so hot and you have the choice to make whether you're in your tent
08:39just away from the flies and the horse flies biting insects but sweltering or outside where
08:45it's still sweltering there's a tiny bit of breeze but then you get bitten by these massive horse flies
08:55everywhere
08:56and if horse flies weren't bad enough i've got another problem
09:00i think i have just got a bloody urine infection
09:07which is going to be very annoying
09:15we filter all our water and that means we don't have to be too fussy with where it comes from
09:22with our water running low the search is on for our next source
09:25we've been living in the wild for over 30 days and so far finding it hasn't been an issue we're
09:31relying
09:31on julius's tracking skills to lead us to some but out here that comes with its own risks
09:37we have to be very quiet because we think there might be some big crocodiles
09:56it just went into the water big big big one i think i just missed it very big
10:07it's too dangerous to collect water here we're going to have to find somewhere else
10:13and it doesn't take long for julius to find more clues to another source
10:18what's this julius
10:20track of all hippo tracking of hippo yes
10:25yeah
10:28that's the thing in dry season everything will be drawn to the water
10:32including us so we have to keep on our guard
10:36so if we do come across a hippo we need to be very careful because
10:41they are the third largest land mammal on earth
10:46um and but they are pretty much the number one most dangerous they kill
10:51like 500 people in africa every year
10:54um
10:56and they can run fast so they're not only good in water they can run very quickly
11:01i've never ever seen hippos in the wild in fact i don't think i've seen hippos before
11:10i don't know if today's going to be the day or not
11:15okay i think we're getting close to water which means we're probably getting close to other animals now
11:28oh my god
11:31there's loads of hippos
11:48that's so big
11:51we didn't just find the water we found not just one hippo but all the hippos
11:59what do you think moses
12:03enjoy enjoy stay clear
12:11so our water collecting has been made far more dangerous than expected
12:17it's an incredible sight but hippos are fiercely territorial and they can turn in an instant
12:23we keep our distance but we have to get down to the water somehow
12:28with the others on watch i find a small area where it's clear and make a dart for it
12:38okay well we've got some water we're getting away from the hippos now and
12:44go find somewhere to camp now that we're in the serengeti and uh yeah
12:51we really are where the wild things are now
13:08the serengeti is 30 000 square kilometers that's the size of belgium it's home to
13:14some of africa's most formidable wildlife and after getting past the hippos we're immediately
13:19confronted by another threat
13:22it's a huge herd of elephants right in front of us having close encounters with elephants but never
13:30actually seeing them properly until now okay they have a baby so obviously they're going to be
13:37protective of that baby julius is in front i'm just trying to figure out a way to get
13:45get by they're going this way they might pass us yeah so we wait until they put they go from
13:53that
13:53direction yeah and for us we can just keep walking yeah yeah oh yeah they are coming aren't they yeah
14:01we're in their way we know when they want to charge they'll use those tasks with accuracy
14:08we're gonna give them some space because they have young and we know what elephants are capable of
14:19and this is our camp for tonight picked our tree to camp underneath having a little chill but this rest
14:28doesn't last long so we're having to move camp because even though that herd of elephants is a long
14:35way away we think they're heading down the valley towards where we're camped
14:43and you know we are in the wildlife area so you can't really escape wildlife it's one of the
14:49reasons we're here but we can at least get out of their way
14:55i have an idea to send the drone up to get a better feel of what we're dealing with
15:02the elephants have got quite a pace on we have to make sure we don't anger them
15:06but we need to move now otherwise they could come straight through our camp
15:11so we found a new place to camp just across the valley i don't know if there's any better
15:17might be worse i guess we'll have to find out tonight but i guess it gives a peace of mind
15:23either way
15:26now we'll see what the night brings so good night
15:32we may be expecting elephants but here nothing is for certain
15:36there's one thing there's one thing right over there
15:40i'm not even kidding i just have lying right behind me
15:55that's really quite scary oh my god
16:11the noises of last night signal we're moving into a more dangerous area lion country
16:17it's quite something when you're lying in your tent with your head to the ground and then you've got
16:24lions like communicating around you you just have to stay still oh we've got to go that way today
16:34see how much distance we can cover at the moment we can see quite well i think there's going to
16:40be
16:40some bits dips where we've got to be careful of um the animals lurking
16:52good sunny sunny yeah the sun it's here
17:01we're watching out for animals with every step but i didn't expect to see this little one
17:08from tiny creatures like this tortoise to the tallest of them all the giraffe
17:13we try to get a little closer but they're right to be wary staying alert keeps them alive out here
17:21a giraffe's heart has to pump twice the normal pressure to just push blood up that long neck
17:26it's one of the most powerful hearts in the animal kingdom
17:35that's really cool
17:44and then a jackal i'm already surprised by the sheer abundance of life here
17:49the serengeti is an example of how nature thrives when we protect it
17:56i think it's a warthog yeah what is there we go
18:02that richness of life also tells you something else it's exactly the kind of place that draws in
18:08predators like lions the lion footprint yeah lion footprint oh wow it's massive it is massive
18:18only in the serengeti you would wake up and see a lion footprint and not be too surprised
18:25it's a lot of greenery and foliage to hide around here this bit it's very lush rich
18:36yeah is it down there he's sleeping how did you spot that it's amazing that you saw it in the
18:46first
18:46place yes how did you see him yeah we we walked and then he you know experience of wilderness of
18:54jungle
18:55we stay downwind of the sleeping lion knowing all too well that there could be more just out of view
19:05what do you do when there's a pride of lions in your path julius is taking every precaution
19:12flower in hand just in case we need to warn it off
19:18there's a lion there's a lion there's a lion that's quite terrifying
19:25luckily he's startled enough to run away and it's just the one
19:31for now a male usually means lionesses aren't too far away
19:38very big very big this is mad just
19:48what's gonna happen but moving through the serengeti and like having to walk past prides of lions just
19:58gets your heart racing it's mental you need to be really careful of this long grass
20:05it's like pride of lions could just be sitting in front of us and we wouldn't know
20:12if it wasn't for the team i would have walked right on top of that lion's torso and it would
20:16have been game over i do my best to stay on the lookout but honestly in this phase of the
20:23expedition
20:24my life is very much in my teammates hands and now julius has spotted something else
20:32lion cubs they may look sweet but this is a very dangerous situation to be in where's mum
20:44we'd been meters from her before realizing
20:49the wind direction is changing so we've got to get out of it
20:53because if that mum wakes up we're in trouble
20:57the cubs watch
21:04do you know where mum is
21:06we're just staring right up she's awake we've got to move but we can't run
21:16it's charging
21:21as soon as she woke up it was like go time
21:31turns out i'm not the only one who smiles when i'm nervous
21:34yes moses definitely does too
21:42julius thank you again for protecting us today
21:45yes you're welcome but
21:48it was very good
21:49if you are no strong hard
21:51yeah
21:55yeah no you were very
21:57no wait wait yeah
21:58if you are charging and then serious coming
22:00yeah maybe to action yeah i know you were great
22:04it was um yeah thank you for protecting us
22:08we weren't eaten by the lions today
22:14it's really nice i think uh julius now that he's got the the weapon and you know he's the animal
22:21tracker this is his uh his forte so to speak and he's really found a purpose and he's really like
22:29go you can see it in his eyes which is really good because i really we needed him
22:33for this part especially it would be so dangerous not to go if imagine if i was here
22:39without a team that would be yeah it wouldn't be good everyone has a role to play here so
22:43we're all doing a role and uh yeah delalia and moses are getting on like a treat they're like
22:50formed a brotherhood an unlikely brotherhood from two different tribes which is rather lovely
22:55because at first i think there's a little bit of who are you you know where are you from but
23:00they've found so much common ground which is great and then when he's smiling he's um
23:06i think he's starting to sort of look forward to when we get out of danger because it's dangerous
23:13here it is the danger has stepped up a notch got my machete i've always been sleeping with my
23:20machete next to me um i don't know if i could do anything in time but it's there
23:42i'm asking moses to do his magic near me tonight because it's a little bit scary having seen all the
23:49lions and now hearing them all around us it feels very very different tonight because we're deep in
24:06the serengeti just feels that bit further away from safety and there's lions every like everywhere
24:14this is pride lands i've made sure i watched where moses did his magic
24:20i need everything i can get right now
24:39lions pass in the close vicinity all i can do is put faith into moses's magic
24:50moses thank you for doing your magic did you pick it up yeah thank you the lion yeah stayed away
25:01down to the magic i think honestly there's something to it
25:08there's a feeling of nervous energy in the air now prides of lions seem to be getting closer to us
25:14as
25:14every day goes by and it's not only lions we need to be worried about
25:23a scorpion that could kill you julius your eyesight is amazing yes you're very very good
25:33i think i would be dead without you
25:35yeah
25:38winners finding a not so lucky cape buffalo skull we don't want to end up like this one if we
25:43can help
25:43it yeah that's gonna pin you down with the big bull i think i heard some lions in that direction
25:50we've come from that direction where we know there are lions but the the wind
25:56wind is going in this direction so they shouldn't know that we're here anymore
26:05it's straight away
26:08we have just found a beautiful huge lioness on the top of a rock what does that remind you of
26:18i might be happy to see her far away and high on this rock but the feeling doesn't appear mutual
26:26that was a warning don't get too close
26:29she's rightly protective of her cubs but something doesn't seem right here
26:34the cubs are incredibly thin and appear weak
26:37we need to move away from this pride quickly but seeing this dead cub is a stark reminder of what
26:43dry season brings in this pride's territory there's little water and even less prey if the lions can't
26:50even survive how will we
26:56we came across a pride of lions from a distance and they were so weak like so obviously weak and
27:03then
27:03we came across a dead uh cub who would just starve to death or dehydrated both just 10 20 minutes
27:12before
27:13we were looking for a place to camp not knowing they were there and if they had come to camp
27:20i don't know if we'd still be i reckon already by now it's 8 pm we would have been eaten
27:28tonight all we can do is hope that the lions stay away and we can sleep in peace
27:48i can't make a sound there's a lion just outside of my tent
28:08there's 10. can i get the hang on hang on hang on
28:22there they are
28:26there's loads of them oh god
28:33yeah whoa
28:36he's right by camp there he is there he is
28:40oh my god he's just looking at us
28:50we thought that was the last of them but things were about to get even worse
29:02the lions coming into camp was terrifying but it didn't end there that night another pride walked
29:09right up to our tents a male lion plonked himself between mine and julius and delali's tent and roared
29:15our heads for a whole two minutes i couldn't risk reaching for the camera i froze and stayed silent
29:22exactly how i was taught to one small movement could have looked like a challenge and you don't
29:28challenge a whole pride honestly i am just happy to wake up alive that was probably the single scariest thing
29:37i've ever had to go through
29:40it was it was it was lions right there everyone breathed the collective sigh of relief once they had passed
29:52through i started to think feeling really guilty to my parents that
29:58i was gonna get eaten by an actual literal lion honestly let's get out of the serengeti there's too many
30:09lions here
30:11oh my god did i hear the lion they passed here i know i'm very very aware because i could
30:20hear the footsteps
30:23right here so our tents are here and it went here
30:28it was you tapped him what did he say
30:38afterwards afterwards everyone was like
30:43there we go
30:46that was pretty close though
30:48oh yes very close he's come out the door of 10. yeah door of 10. 1.5 meter
31:00oh
31:00my god drive was rifle is that what delali said okay oh good he tapped you and you just said
31:08be quiet
31:09be quiet yeah so we just be quiet listen
31:13yeah right next to us
31:20it was amazing i love that you were like shut up just be quiet
31:29that is such a cool sight all the nighttime terrors that we had have gone away with that sunrise
31:45it's our last morning in the serengeti and it's time for one last look at this oasis before we head
31:50into
31:50the dry highlands wow this place really is a paradise this is unbelievably spectacular
32:02to be here alone walking on foot in this wilderness it's hard it's dangerous but boy it just makes
32:11it like oh it makes it worth it it's so cool
32:26the serengeti blew my expectations wide open it's a paradise here and it shows just how resilient
32:33nature is and how fiercely it can flourish if we give it the chance but the serengeti has two sides
32:39the beauty and the brutal effort it takes to move through it a bit concerned about the team everyone's
32:47had such a adrenaline filled time here the next one is just going to be hard and we really just
32:52need
32:53to stick it out work as a team and get to the finish point then we would have done this
32:59amazing expedition
33:04we've walked over 100 kilometers through the serengeti
33:06and now we have 50 kilometers for our final phase in the most challenging terrain
33:12we're leaving this area of abundance of resources and heading into the really dry and highlands
33:17you can already feel like it's getting less green and less idyllic harder to survive less wildlife and way more
33:28barren
33:30no no water no water at all no every water thirsty oh i'm so thirsty that's all we got left
33:40it's only
33:40got and you can see the color of this water it's bad very bad but i'll just have one sip
33:47yeah because i
33:48don't know how long we're gonna walk until we find that place where yeah we can refill it to walk
33:54for
33:54another place find another find water yeah yeah because here sometimes to die no water there is no
34:03fresh water so yeah salt water yeah oh salt water salt water okay yeah because this is like a volcanic
34:10area okay oh my god new challenge right
34:19the change of terrain here is wild it's like we walked into a desert and it is so hot
34:30just walked across that walking on sand dust gray sand just making everything
34:41as you can imagine a lot harder we're starting to think that it might be
34:49another 24 hours until we find any water
34:53which is quite worrying the mouth is like formed that seal around it
35:02we've got a bit left but i don't know if we've got enough for 24 hours
35:10it's very very dry i thought it was gonna be cooler because we're
35:14gained height but it just feels like we're getting closer to the sun
35:19so we might just have to go hungry because water is more important
35:22but there's no water just been down there you never hear
35:27it must be a deep underground somewhere
35:33with dark thoughts on our mind our conversation turns to death
35:37i want to ask julius what i had to believe when people pass away
35:41like do you just die or do you do you have to believe in afterlife
35:46dies dies oh cool that's why yeah i'm not i have no words to go yeah
35:53i guess my mind drifts to home and i've tried really hard to build the life that i want
35:59which is yeah i feel so grateful for really it's really what i wanted to say
36:07like i like my life i feel very privileged to be able to say that
36:12i won't speak about it anymore because i'll get upset
36:17i'm going to try and tackle this hair because otherwise
36:22i'm going to have to have a shade off
36:29tomorrow we need to find water because if we don't it is not looking good
36:42it might might wash
36:49the tough phase continues we're headed to try and get up and over here
36:56we think there could be water around here i know i can feel my body is dehydrated already
37:04let's go
37:11we're on our final push with just 50 kilometers to go until we reach our finish point
37:16at the top of an active volcano but if we don't find any water we won't be able to even
37:21make it close
37:24and guy haven't quite reached the point where i'll be drinking my own pee yet
37:31but watch the space the land is getting greener there must be water somewhere even a trickle would
37:38be life-saving all the signs point that there is water because of people coming from miles with their
37:44cattle i thought it was going to be like a trickle of water i didn't expect like this
37:51like wow that's incredible hey lots of water water water water water
38:01it's hard to believe that after four days without any water this is here at 3 000 meters of altitude
38:10please
38:12clean algae can't wait to drink from that
38:17water from our filter
38:25yes
38:31masai come from miles and miles with their livestock to get this water source
38:35I should find out if there's hippos and crocodiles in there though before I go get too excited.
38:42We are in Africa after all.
38:44So we've been talking to some Maasai and we're not to swim in it because people have just
38:49disappeared.
38:52We've got a few more days, Winnes, then we'll have a shower.
38:56And this is going to fuel us to get to the end.
38:59So good.
39:00The team did really well today.
39:01I'm proud of them.
39:03Good job team.
39:05All the Maasai have left now.
39:08And so now the wild animals are coming for a drink.
39:11And I'm going to say that by this point we are wild animals as well.
39:22I have bites everywhere.
39:26Super itchy.
39:29I've got bug bites all over my feet.
39:32Which when I'm walking, it's like torture because you can't itch them.
39:44Being at altitude, we never thought we'd be back in this dense terrain.
39:48We're just 20 kilometres from our end point, the volcano.
39:52But this is slowing us down.
39:57Didn't expect this today.
40:01I'd hoped finding water would cheer everyone up.
40:04But being back in this forest is testing all of us.
40:07Even Winnes.
40:08He looks like he's hit a wall.
40:10He is tired.
40:13So I just need to make sure he's rested today as well.
40:15Because it's not over till it's over.
40:18So I can't take our eye off the ball.
40:21You okay, Winnes?
40:22Huh?
40:23You okay?
40:23I don't know if I like to hit it.
40:26Oh, no.
40:27Yeah, but I think it's a little bit weird.
40:31Winnes has been so positive this whole expedition.
40:34But this seems to be his breaking point.
40:39We're almost done.
40:40And it's been six very long weeks.
40:45It's been hard.
40:47It's just been hard.
40:49I'm tired.
40:51My mind is really tired.
40:55And soon we'll be home.
41:02They've lasted all this time.
41:04Let's see.
41:06Okay.
41:12That's us.
41:14Oh, perfect.
41:15It fits.
41:18You see Lengai?
41:20Yeah.
41:21Yeah.
41:22That's our final destination.
41:24Yes, maybe.
41:25Big mountain.
41:27Actually, it's not a mountain.
41:28It's an active volcano.
41:30When will it erupt?
41:31Hopefully not the day that we climb it.
41:33We're crossing over the Great Rift Valley.
41:36The volcano, Mount Lengai, is getting closer.
41:40Wow.
41:42Check that out.
41:43Walking on my volcanic dust, which is hard going.
41:46What am I doing?
41:46Go for it down.
41:49Thank you everyone.
42:09I'm trying to get an early night because we're climbing in a few hours and I just
42:13wanted to say yeah this is it the final push and just battle ready this is just
42:22go go go team we're gonna do this as a team we started this as a team we're
42:27gonna finish it as a team and yeah catch up with you soon Moses you ready to beat the
42:47scorching heat we're setting off at midnight Mount Langai is almost 3,000 meters
42:52and it'll take us all night to reach the summit and with any luck we'll get there
43:02for sunrise it is smelly rotten eggs the sulfur
43:09yeah very smelly so almost almost at the top now
43:20and ta da done done yeah you did it
43:32too tired to celebrate the Sun is about to come out
43:44yeah we have done it we have officially completed the expedition
44:05amazing yeah a very hard mountain to climb
44:11it's a nice thing to share with your Sun yes yes you'll remember it forever remember
44:16they all have been the whole journey yes big adventure big adventure yes yeah it's a very
44:23big adventure yes I'm so good and it's a long long journey long journey yeah long long way
44:32but we're successful I cannot explain it how happy I am this the day I was just waiting for a
44:39long time
44:40are you proud of yourself I am very proud of myself I am very proud of the team
44:45I'm very proud for Lucy I'm very extremely happy I can just say
44:48three laps of two absolutely finish this
44:54this expedition pushed us more than we could have ever expected
44:57I began as the outsider learning to live with the land and with the people whose knowledge runs deep
45:03and out here I realized something important the wild it doesn't judge I come from a different background
45:10and hey even Moses didn't know any of the team before meeting but none of that mattered
45:15what mattered was how we moved together and watching Julius and Dilali father and son
45:20take on this journey showed me a strength that you just can't fake
45:23we crossed forests dry lands mountains and the Serengeti places so alive yet so fragile
45:30and the wilds quiet authority was always with us and respecting it kept us safe
45:36this journey reminded me just how resilient nature is and how quickly it can disappear without protection
45:43if I've learned anything it's that we already have the tools to make a difference
45:47modern knowledge ancient wisdom and the choice to act
45:51this has been a story about the wild not something to conquer but as a teacher
45:56and a reminder that there's still so much left to fight for
45:59six weeks with this great team has just it's rekindled my love
46:05and it's always in such awe of these wild places
46:09it's been so diverse and so so impressive
46:13and I think we should all just work hard to protect the delicate balance of these wild places
46:22because they're out there people live in them and we need to do everything we can to protect them
46:38so we decide to destroy them on the field today
47:00and I need to survive a few days
